Loved the variety of dance and the love band! We came just for the show. We had great seats. Wish we could have explored the gardens more! Beautiful scenery!

We really liked the tour and all the staff were so welcoming. It was our second time with our kids so we can highly recommend it to families with kids.

My wife and I participated in a flight just before noon. The other passengers were three people from America. The pilot and guide provided explanations in both English and Japanese, making for a very fulfilling flight. The views of Kauai Island and the Na Pali Coast from the sky were impressive and wonderful. I was constantly taking videos and photos.

The river cruise was peaceful and lovely and a great option for a vacation with a baby in our party. We could not clearly hear what the tour guide was saying on the microphone, so we missed what was being said about what we were viewing, but the boat ride itself was lovely. We enjoyed the hike to the Fern Grotto.

One of the best luaus I have experienced throughout the islands - just a great show and history mixed in!

Truly amazing from start to finish. The facilities were great, the people were great, the narration was amazing and so much valuable information. So fun would do it again!!!!!! Worth every penny

The grounds were beautiful. The staff was great. We had a great time.

We had a large group of family who came with us, including grandchildren from ages 7-9 yrs - was interesting to hear the authentic music, history, and stories of this location of the river valley and grotto. (The walk to the Grotto wasn't far, on a poured path, maybe a city block, more or less, but we may have been distracted by the beauty of the place!)
On the way back, some stopped by the bathrooms before getting back on the boat. Then we heard more music as we headed back on the boat- talented instruments and voices, the captain told more info about the dances as we watched, and we were taught some of the actions as we stood and danced to the music, too! Was fun!
We wore mosquito spray but had no real reason to- they weren't too bad on this particular afternoon in June. 2 pm ride, back by 3:30.

The boat ride and the history was wonderful. The singers and hula dancers added to the whole experience.
The singing song at the grotto was incredible.

I would highly recommend this to all

We are very happy that we chose to experience a Lua and specifically with the Smith Family. You can tell they love to do this in every little detail. Would highly recommend!

Everyone in our party had a great time. We enjoyed all aspects of the tour.

Most of the tour was a long bus ride. The scenery was quite lovely, but we didn’t stop very much. The lighthouse was so far away that it was not easy to get a truly good photo. The movie site portion was showing us videos on the bus but hardly seeing the actual sights. Saw Princeville from the bus. Chocolate factory was, in my opinion, a waste of time. Hanalei was a cute town, but once lunch was done, it was just another shopping center.

The view of Waimea Canyon and the Napali Coast from the sky was more amazing than I had imagined, something that photos and videos just can't capture. Along the way, I was also able to see a rainbow 🌈 below, which was the highlight. The pilot, ASA, was fluent in Japanese and provided explanations in both English and Japanese. He made sure that both the people on the right side and the left side of the plane could see the scenery equally by circling around, which left me very satisfied.

空から見るワイメア渓谷、ナパリコーストの景色は想像以上の素晴らしさで、写真や映像では現せないものでした。途中で眼下に虹🌈を見ることもでき最高でした。パイロットのASAさんは日本語も堪能で、英語と日本語の両方で解説して下さり、景色も右側の席の人も左側の席の人も同じように見えるように旋回してくれるので大満足でした。

The Smith's Luau was such a great experience! The property was beautiful, the food was great, and the performances blew us away. This is a must do when in the area!

My husband and I enjoyed the boat ride and the history. The entertainment was fun too. Unfortunately, I don't remember being told to use bug spray. I had over 20 bites after visiting the grotto, which messed up the remainder of my stay on the island.

What a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours. The crew was fantastic. Captain gave us some great history of the island and the Hawaiian music and hula was perfect. This is good for all ages. The walk to the Fern Grotto is paved. One of our passengers had a wheelchair and was able to enjoy the full excursion. I highly recommend this for an afternoon, easy excursion. Mahalo, until we meet again.

The ride down the river was so peaceful and beautiful. The walk through the fern grotto was also very pleasant.. beautiful things to see.

The captain, guides and entertainment was outstanding

This is probably the best Luau we have ever been to!

The only issue we had was checking in as they seemed to not be able to find our reservation.

The staff was the best. That's for sure, and the show was awesome.
My wife and I felt like we were thoroughly taken care of and we so much enjoyed the evening.

Garden is beautiful. Food was great. Ceremony was cool. I would recommend it!

Would do it again. Walking back saw a mommy pig with 6 babies

Great trip on the river! The captain was very informative on the local culture. The crew performed a dance at the grotto and also performed several dances on the way back on the boat. A good value.

Our group of 8students had a good time, great weather and the entertainment and walking through the grotto was beautiful. A well run event.

Really enjoyed the food and entertainment both while eating and fabulous Polynesian show afterwards. Even liked the poi. I ate it with the lomi lomi salmon and it was really great that way. The Polynesian show was one of the best saw here on the Islands. Had a great story line that really made the show. Great music all the way through.

The boat were large and covered. The bride was smooth and pretty. Interesting commentary. Good music. Fun hula dancer. The fern grotto was beautiful especially in the rain. Nice walk, not hard. All in all. An outstanding trip for a rainy days. Must be great in the sun also.

Even though it was raining it was still fun and beautiful scenery. Umbrellas were provided which was so nice.

We enjoyed a tram tour through the gardens prior to the Imu ceremony, explaining the cooking process of the Kalua pig. Everyone on the property was welcoming and made out experience great. Food was typical luau fare, and seconds were offered after everyone had been through the line once. Bar was open for drinks, and we were allowed to take them over to the show at the pavilion for the show. The show provides some history, different cultures that melded in to current Hawai’i. It was very interesting. Overall a lovely evening.
