Kauai
A family friendly excursion . The guides were awesome! They took such good care of our 84 yr old Mom. She had a personal guide experience
Easy and relaxing. Very interesting to see the tunnels that were hand dug!
I would recommend this!
What a fun experience. Even if you have ziplined before, you will enjoy this tour where you get to fly like Superman on Hawaii's longest zip line. The tour guides also make it a fun day, and are very safety conscious.
Try it, you'll like it!
Beautiful scenery, knowledgeable guides, perfect photo ops....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Due to the flooding on Kauai we couldn't do the full tour. The tour company called and asked if we wanted to still do just the kayak tour for a lower price, which we did. T our guide was great and we made the best of the modified tour.
We did the mountain tubing tour. This is a very popular tour and I can see why, it's lots of fun for all ages. Our guides Chelsea and Alan were fun and energetic! This really is a nice relaxing tour that just about any age can enjoy.
It was my wife and my first time riding a zipline. The staff was excellent! Not only do they make it a safe and secure experience, they made the whole experience a ton of fun.
Kip was one of our guides and unfortunately his partner's name escapes me (said to say it was "Kevin" if I couldn't remember - haha).
We had a great time and a real thrill that won't be forgotten.
Had a great time mounting tubing with my husband, and we had awesome tour guides would recommend everyone to try it out.
Conor and Sierra were fantastic guides! They had a lot of jokes and history for us and kept us entertained even between zip lines. The fact that they take care of the braking for you really makes the experience easy to sit back (lean back, fly, go upside down) and enjoy the ride! There are a few steep climbs that most folks will manage but if you have elderly people in the group it might be a bit much for them. I want to go back and do their ATV adventure next! Warning: Conor might take some selfies with your camera ;) but they do take their own pictures of you along the way and they were really great so we purchased them at the gift shop afterwards.
An awesome experience! Thank you Big Rob and Ryan (our tour guides)!
We took the first group out at 7:45am,was a perfect trip and not over crowded. Our tour guide was Phil, he was terrific -very knowledgeable and a ton of fun. My husband and I had a great time and would recommend this for anyone wanting a little adventure. The kayaking was nice and about two miles to your hiking spot-less waterway traffic going in- coming out was getting busy- would suggest booking the early group. The hike was muddy-go barefoot or wear sturdy shoes you don't mind getting wet and muddy, a bit slippery and challenging but fun. The waterfall is beautiful (water was a bit chilly) but worth getting in it. Lunch was perfect, not too much and very yummy. Definitely a must do when visiting the island.
I loved the professionalism of the tour guides. I felt safe and comfortable at all times. I have recommended it to my friends and family.
Must do island activity. The guides were awesome and a lot of fun.
This was by far the best day of our week. The kids loved it! The kayak trip on the river was amazing, nice and relaxing, beautiful scenery. Advice- have one experienced kayak-er for the 2 person kayak. The hike through the forest was so cool, it was exactly what we had imagined. We were filled with history and information along our hike which was really inviting! Once we got to the falls, delightful! Although the water was cold, it was the neatest things we had experienced! The lunch, the surroundings, the tour guide, all amazing! Don't second guess, Just do it!!!
This was an amazing experience. it was so pretty and the hike was fun. would do this again.
The waterfall destination is spectacular, our guide, Web, was very good - and barefoot!. Well-fitting hiking or sturdy aqua shoes are a must for the average hiker. The kayak trip is easy in a wide river. The hike is often along narrow pathways along a dropoff area with no barriers. The ground is very muddy, uneven and you're stepping between roots of trees much of the time. Good foot placement, patience and balance are requirements. When we arrived at the falls, a thunderstorm dumped a lot of rain decreasing the time at the falls and created an extremely wet and muddy return trip on the path back to the kayaks. Puddle depths were unknown leading to many slips and falls and very slow and slippery going. While no one was hurt in our group of 12, I'd advise this trip only for the very adventurous, and very careful!
So we were looking to take in some history and have fun at the same time.
What better way than to float lazily down some waterways and with the help of a great guide who had lots of fun facts spend the day doing just that. Great time was had by both of us. Thanks for an awesome time.
Seriously the most amazing trip ever! The guides were so informative, and we loved learning all about the history of Kauai & the ATV’s we’re beyond fun! Definitely a must to do here!
I did this activity with my 14-year old son. You are on an intertube going down a simple stream for about 1 hour. The first part is getting to the inlet. During the ride, you are about 75% in tunnels but nothing scary so you don't need sunglasses or really any sunscreen/bug spray (at least we didn't). After outtake, you grab a quick 'make your own sandwich, chips, cookie, and water and ride back. Guides were friendly. Very mellow and safe excursion.
Beautiful scenery, great guides, fun trails and interesting stories. Don't miss it!
We had the best time!! There were 4 of us raging in ages from 32 to 60. The guides were amazing and fun to be around!!! We would definitely recommend the Mountain Tubing Adventure Tour
There are some amazing views and creatures to see. The guide was awesome. We took two kids in the front of our Kayaks (which means we did all the rowing) therefore the groups with 2 adults per boat went way ahead of us. Don’t sign up for group activities if you expect the world to evolve around you. The group we went with seemed to rush through everything and we were trying to enjoy the trip and views.
Just had a blast on your ATVs. Mark and Rob were great. Had loads of patience and made sure everyone had a safe and crazy ride.
Lots of background info on the ranch and history of the area made it more than just a nature ride. Wish I could give you guys a 10 star but 5 happy happies will have to do.
This activity was one of the best experiences in my life. The kayak and hike to the waterfall was beautiful! Our tour guy Dustin was amazing!!! He was very informative, enthusiastic and funny. He made the experience even better!! If you book the tour, you have to ask for him.
The water was very free..free..REFRESHING!! My family and I had a blast! I would have loved to have done the zip line tour with our same guides, Gabe and Josiah, YA MON!! Besides the fun we were able to learn a little bit more about the Hawaiian culture and plantation life itself. Mahalo!
It was fine for me but my husband isheavy and they did little to help him
Only two dizes of tubes reg and small the kids in our group needed to have us ask on there behalf to get smaller tubes they were falkin through and my husband couldnt fit in reg tube
They did nothing he repeatedly hit his head
So if your average size and like spinning circles and bouncing off walls.this is for you
They could of helped him get out of tube sit in tube anything, but nothing
Keep your srms and ankles in or get scraped up
There could of been a great story to this event
We thought there would be history. Cash cow
A MUST-DO....be prepared for mud...it's a rainforest!
Really cool tour, our tour guide was very cool and made the whole experience so much fun! The trek up to the waterfall was quite fun to hike because there was so much mud:) And the kayaking is also lots of fun, not too much of an exhaust ;)
We had a wonderful tour guide who was friendly and informative! We had a great time kayaking up and down a calm river. The hike was beautiful and had a nice lunch at Secret Falls in which we dipped in for a "refreshing" swim. Would totally recommend it!
We had a great time, worth every penny. Just the tour of the back country, privately owned land that the general public does not get to see, and information provided is worth the price. The float was fun and entertaining, not a thrill ride but a fun adventure. Our group ages were 9 to 58 and there were younger and older people on our tour. Every one had fun and I highly recommend this adventure to all.
I gave a 4 star rating only because there was one person in our group that has claustrophobia and could not go due to her fear of going into tunnels. The tunnels were not scary but for someone with this phobia they may be. You have a light on your helmet and can see very well but in 2 tunnels you can not see the light at the other end.
This trip was truly worth every penny! Our tour guides Joshua and Rob were absolutely amazing! They were very informative and up to date with the property. Highly reccomend this to anyone going to Hawaii!
