The wife and I never snorkeled before and we both felt like we were in good hands.
They took the time to inform us of some great places to visit after our trip.
I would definitely recommend this experience and the guides.

絶好的な景色圧巻！！
Reviewed by: KEIKO ちな, 2018/10/02申し込みもぎりぎり、集合場所に到着もぎりぎり。しかし 係の人の丁寧な対応にほっとしました。何分ここは外国。レンタカーで乗り付け 心臓バクバク。乗船後も係の人が波でぬれるから、とか ランチはこれらを自由にと 親切に説明してくれました。乗船の方々もオーストラリアとかニュージーランド等々ほんとハワイの方以外の人が多くて親切でしたよ。勿論船は風を浴びて素敵な景色を満喫。良かった。勿論イルカも亀も見ることが出来幸せ感いっぱい。

海から見る 最高のナパリコースト
Reviewed by: azzurro, 2018/07/28ハナレイ湾から出発し、次々と現れるナパリの景観、朝の光に照らされる緑深い山々が素晴らしかった。ラフティングボートのため崖の近くまで行ってとても迫力があります。滝、ケーブ、海亀、イルカ、モンクシールが見れました。所々でとまって説明をしてくれました。シュノーケルもできました。
ランチのサンドウィッチ、スナック、飲み物がついています。
英語のためわからないところもありましたが、キャプテンやスタッフの方々が優しく話しかけてくれました。
大変満足しています！ありがとうございました！

Reviewed by: 待ち時間と荒れる波, 2018/06/11心配でしたが酔い止めを飲んでいけば大丈夫でした。北からナパリコーストに向かうのですが行きは揺れが少なく所々ボートを止めて説明がありました。帰りは波に向かっての移動なので揺れが半端ないし波がかかるときもあります。説明もほどんどなく通りすぎるだけでした。スピードがあるので体が濡れたりすると寒く感じます。あと記載にボートに乗るときは裸足とありましたがウォーターシューズは履いたままでよいと言われました。プリンスビルでの宿泊でしたので移動も楽でした。集合場所もわかりやすいしボートに乗ってる時間が少ないのが一番です。

Awesome Excursion!!!
Reviewed by: MarkFlannery, 2018/03/05We had such an amazing time in Kauai, but one of our favorite events was the Kayak and Snorkel excursion up the Hanalei River Anne snorkeling on the reef. Our guides, Lisa and Steve, did amazing jobs. I’d highly recommend it to anyone!

Kayak Kauai Hanalei River & Blue Lagoon Kayak & Snorkel Adventure
Spectacular adventure!!!
Reviewed by: MarkFlannery, 2018/02/12Our daughter bought us this trip for our 30th wedding anniversary. We then added four of our good friends that we came with. Kayaking up and down the river was amazing, and on into the ocean. Our snorkeling adventure was awesome, as we saw a Sea Turtle and beautiful fish! Lunch was delicious too! Lisa and Steve did a great job! We were especially grateful for Lisa sharing her expansive knowledge of nature, surfing, and the Hawaiian culture! She was super accommodating taking pictures and setting up lunch! Many thanks!!!

Deluxe Na Pali Guided Snorkel Tour with Breakfast & Lunch - Holo Holo Charters
Tour good, but long for us
Reviewed by: Kathy, 2018/01/11The tour, boat, crew, food, and scenery were great. For us, water was too cold to snorkel and 5 hours was too long. Probably would have done better on a 2-3 hour cruise. We did see porpoise, turtles, a monk seal and whale spouts, so the company delivered- it was more our issues that made it too long for us. Also, it is a 1 hr, 45 min drive from princeville to marina, so should have signed up for afternoon tour, not morning.

Kauai at its best.
Reviewed by: LAZZ, 2017/12/16Right from the get go we knew we'd picked the best . Check-in was a breeze with happy to see us staff. Captain was great and made us feel at ease going out on the deep. The cat was neat clean tidy an the crew were constantly making sure we had wont for nothing. Beautiful sights of porpoises whales and turtles. Weather kept us away from Napali coast but it was still a great adventure. Moholo Holo Holo.

Amazing tour with Captain & crew out to the Na Pali Coast and Niihau island! We had an amazing time! Drew and Kamaile were awesome hosts making us feel comfortable and welcoming us all onboard. The other crew members made sure we were aware of safety and security while onboard and allowing us to experience the underwater world during our snorkeling adventures.
Lunch was light and filling at the same time, beers were always cold! Wine and beer was readily available anytime we wanted one. Fruit and humus was awesome! Homemade ranch dip and homemade humus was so delicious!
We watched the staff engage in great conversations with everyone onboard including the kids! Captain took us out to the sea caves and waterfalls up close and personal! It was such an enchanting tour and we look forward to going on another tour some time!
Bare feet on the boat is a requirement unless you have a medical condition. Dry cubbies available for personal belongings you wanted to keep dry.
I highly recommend you bring a waterproof bag to keep your personal items with you or close by you so you don't have to keep going back and forth into the cabin for the things you need. I had a large Calvin Kline bag that was waterproof and I was able to tuck it right under my seat without worrying about my personal belongings getting wet. You can bring your own snorkel gear otherwise you can use the boats gear anytime. If you haven't been on a boat or it's been quite sometime since you've been on a boat, I recommend you take dremamime or other motion sickness meds before boarding because the ride will and can be rough on the belly. Bring your own towels and don't forget your go pros and or other water proof cameras because you will be seeing lots of amazing things out there!

絶景！ナパリコースト
Reviewed by: hiro, 2017/07/26プリンスビル宿泊で、小学生の子供が２人いるので、集合場所が近いハナレイ湾出発のこちらのツアーを選びました。集合場所まで車で15分程、ナパリコーストまでの距離も近く正解でした。
ツアー中いろいろ説明してくださってましたが、英語なので分からなくて残念、英語が出来ればもっと楽しめると思います。
ただキャプテンが声をかけて下さったり、分からないなりにも楽しめました。
ナパリコーストは絶景でしたし、ケーブも面白かった、カメやイルカにも会え満足です。
ボートなので、行き帰りはスピードがでて衝撃があるので、三年生の娘は怖がってましたが、六年生の息子は楽しんでいました。
ちなみに行きは、酔い止めのせいか子供達は爆睡。高いツアー代なのにもったいなく感じましたが、子供なんでこんなものでしょう。
また、酔い止めは飲んでおく事をお勧めします
朝早く、座る場所によって波がかなりかかり、寒ったので、薄いカッパは頂きましたが、長袖を持って行った方がよいかも。

On are way back we got to see a seal,dolphins,sharks, and whales. We were so lucky! Thank you for an amazing time!

Several people aboard were sick to their stomach due to rough, choppy water, but the crew was so sweet to those having problems. They were quick to serve, offer, and pick up food items, drinks, etc. I'd definitely take a tour with this company again. They get 5 stars for customer satisfaction and service.

We weren't able to go to Niihau because of the high surf. We were given some options before going out. We decided to still go out and at the end they suprised us and refunded us some of our money. Great, exciting adventure

They are a great company--we've done this trip 3 times before with different operators, and they were great! I strongly suggest that you take Dramamine before sailing, and also take some with you. Several people got sea sick--the crew is amazing and very kind with those who are queasy. None of our family got sick--4 adults and 3 children, but we all took the motion sickness pills before embarking. The food for breakfast and lunch was plentiful and good--the drinks were flowing freely, and the crew was solicitous to every whim! They were really great with watching for safety in every way. The Na Pali Coast was breathtakingly beautiful (and I've seen it 4 times before--it never gets old!) Our captain took us very close, while crew gave us background history and information that was perfect in keeping us entertained. All in all a perfect day in every way! Thanks to Captain and Crew for making our family trip a big hit!!

Fantastic day trip !!
Reviewed by: CGTUR, 2016/06/24Early start was well worth the effort,checked in at Port Allen at 06:20. we then boarded an were given a safety lecture an an explanation of what to expect during the trip.Breakfast and lunch onboard wer both excellent. The scenery up the Napali coats was truly breathtaking the comentary by the skipper was very informative,the crew were all very helpfull for the duration of the tour. On the whole a truly recomendable excursion. Five Stars .

Awesome tour!

They made sure everyone was comfortable before getting into the water and helped those of us who had never done it before. Paul was very entertaining and funny, and Miguel was cool at towing us around on the board. This is definitely something you should do while on Kauai, you won't regret it!

Fun to do both river and easy ocean kayaking. At the snorkel beach, we saw plenty of fish and also were treated to swim alongside a turtle. Steve was a great guide too.

Absolutely a perfect experience for us all!
Reviewed by: Jill Dutra, 2015/08/05This trip was one of our best yet! We have done several activities in Kauai and this one will be hard to beat. Jessie was our travel guide and he was wonderful. He was full of information about the island, he was easy to talk to and it's easy to see he loves what he does. We are a family of four with two teenage sons and all four of us enjoyed the entire day; that is not always an easy accomplishment! The kayaking was very fun, Hanalei Bay was amazing and the snorkel location was just beautiful. Our lunch on the beach was great and It was one of those memories that will last a life time. Jessie was very professional and made us feel very comfortable every step of the way. I would recommend this adventure to anyone!

Na Pali Coast Explorer Ocean Rafting Snorkel Tour (from Kikiaola Harbor)
Do the Na Pali Coast, but do it with someone else

While some of the crew was nice, the captain was not.
We picked that operator because the boat had a Canopy that would have protected our parents from the sun as they were no interested in snorkeling, just the boat ride. However the boat was being worked on, canopy was not there and towards the end of the trip had mechanical issues.
On the day we show up, the weather was too bad for the Na Pali Coast, so we had the option to do the south shore instead. We asked to do the South shore, but the captain was hoping we could cancel and reschedule because he would rather go fishing that day. We then rescheduled for the next day as while not guaranteed, weather was looking much better, so he said.
Next day, same deal, weather was to bad for the Na Pali Coast, so we went on the South Shore as the Captain had no fishing plan that day.
We did see Turtles, Whales and Dolphin but the snorkeling spot was bad, we saw a couple gray fish and that was about it. Snorkeling 30 feet of the shore on our hotel beach on Poipu offered more species and colors that this trip.
Lunch didn't make it back from anything, each 12" Subway sub was to be split by 4 people and they were all the same with olives, which is a bad choice of topping for a group.
Once day I will do the Na Pali, but I will not use that the explorer, no Na Pali and No snorkling

Perfect day
Reviewed by: Jody, 2014/12/23The tour was outstanding. The staff (Max, Captain Kelly, and Wade) were very professional and provided top-notch service. Their number one priority was ensuring safety of all the passengers. They helped passengers navigate around the boat when needed and made sure all passengers were comfortable throughout the tour. They also made service, including food and drinks, a priority. The 5 1/2 hours on the boat passed quickly. The morning started off with 45 minutes of snorkeling followed by a continental breakfast. The catamaran stopped frequently to view many sightings of whales and pods of dolphins . The staff was very knowledgeable and provided a history of the Napali coast while fielding questions as the passengers took in the breathtaking scenery. The catamaran veered alongside caves and inlets to allow passengers to be sprayed by waterfalls flowing off the 10,000 foot rock formations of the coast. A deli platter lunch followed with soft drinks, wine and beer. The catamaran Leila was well-taken care of with ample seating and standing for all. All in all, a very memorable trip! I would recommend Holo-Holo Charters without hesitation.

Deluxe Na Pali Guided Snorkel Tour with Breakfast & Lunch - Holo Holo Charters

Reviewed by: Gregg, 2014/12/23We just finished an outstanding Naplai Coast catamaran/snorkel tour with Holo-Holo tours. What a day! The weather was perfect as was the staff and boat. Our crew of Captain Kelly, Matt, and Wade were friendly, personal, and knowledgeable. They briefed us before we departed on everything we needed to know- from safety and motion sickness to snorkeling to whales and dolphins. Then we departed on a terrific 50’ catamaran that, despite being filled to the maximum with 38 people, never felt crowded. We began with a 45 minute snorkeling stop, followed by brief stops to watch pods of dolphins and whales. Then it was on to the magnificent Naplai Coast, where our crew fielded questions and made us feel at home on their boat. This was followed by a great lunch with terrific service and unlimited food and beverages. They took us alongside caves and inlets, always made sure we were comfortable and had something to eat or drink, and clearly enjoyed their work. I will book my future tours with Holo-Holo.

Deluxe Na Pali Guided Snorkel Tour with Breakfast & Lunch - Holo Holo Charters
MUST DO in Kauai!!

First off, the crew was incredibly knowledgable about sailing, snorkeling, Hawaiian culture and history and they were beyond attentive to all of our needs on board. Our captain, Kelly, and her three crew members, Shakead, Max and Jay were a lot of fun throughout the day too. We had the opportunity to do some snorkeling, seeing sea turtles, spotted rays and an array of tropical fish - not to mention the school of dolphins that were close enough to touch! As we made our way to the NaPali coast, it was raining (something completely out of the control of our crew), but they still made the most of it. We saw the gorgeous coastline, while Kelly expertly navigated the seas. On our way back, the crew put up the sails and turned down the engines - it made for quite a relaxing way to travel back. Just before reaching port, we followed a few whales and did some whale watching. The crew was patient with everyone on board and made sure that if we wanted to stop to see the whales, we did! We appreciated their accommodating approach to our tour and it definitely was one of the highlights of our vacation at Kauai. Again, we highly recommend this activity!!

Lehua Crater & Na Pali Coast Guided Snorkel Tour with Breakfast, Lunch & Drinks
What a wonderful trip from beginning to end!
Reviewed by: Paul K., 2014/12/11What a wonderful trip from beginning to end! This was an amazing excursion. It started off early in the morning but I was delighted to see a captain full of energy and passion for his career. Even though the winds caused concern for our safety up the Na Pali coast, he made sure to kick start the trip with high spirits as we sailed off the dock at sunrise. The water was very calm and we got the chance to meet the crew over breakfast and coffee before our first sighting of dolphins! For the entire trip – even when the waters got rough – the crew was always interested in talking to us and telling us stories about the island. You could tell that they really enjoyed connecting with everyone which made our experience that much better. Who wants to be on a boat where the crew only care about getting the job done? – No one! Thus, this was a refreshing surprise. After going up the Na Pali coast we made our way to Nihau and snorkeled off the boat. The lunch served included sandwiches, veggies with dip, pickles and pasta salad. Of course, who can forget the wine and beer served on our way back to port? Overall, this was a wonderful trip with great company and we will definitely recommend to our friends and family. The next time we travel to Kauai we plan on cruising with Holoholo at sunset.
