Great Tour of Napali Coast!!!

Very nice and comfortable boat. Knowledgeable and friendly crew. Highly recommend this tour! My family thought this is better than a helicopter tour of Napali. It was cool going into the caves… didn’t our big boat would fit but the crew was highly skilled!

Awesome Napoli Coast

The boat ride was an amazing experience:) I didn’t know the only way to experience the Napali coast was by boat or helicopter. The views were magical and we got to take a lot of pictures of the sea cliffs up close. The whole experience had a magical few to it. We were able to snorkel and see turtles and many different types of fish. I was nervous about snorkeling but it turned out fine as long as you wear a yellow belt and don’t get caught in the current. I was able to take a bunch of pictures of the coastline, I also felt a spiritual energy. The guides were very informative about the Hawaiian spiritual practices and the different types of burials that were preformed in that region. I think you define get your money’s worth by going on this cruise. Each view is spectacular and picturesque. Also the lunch provided was flavorful and the chips were the best.

Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Wir haben Delfine gesehen, durften die Kulisse der Napali Coast geniessen, waren Schnorcheln, sind in eine Höhle und unter einem Wasserfall durchgefahren. Die Gegend ist einfach traumhaft, der Ausblick auf die grünen Klippen, die Farben vom Wasser, die Abgeschiedenheit. Da könnte man locker den ganzen Tag verbringen.

My family enjoyed a wonderful day touring the Na Pali coast line. Captain Mike and his crew made their guests feel welcome, safe and part of the family. The bonus for me was the historic and cultural connection of the Mike and his crew to the land. We saw a mama whale and her calf up close. This excursion was the highlight of our vacation.

Absolutely loved this experience and the helpers on board made it even better! I really enjoyed how we would go along and the captain would talk about a certain place or landmark. It was so fun stopping and relaxing for lunch and going for a swim. I do recommend to bring something if you get cold easily during the cruise. The captains on board were very friendly and constantly checking up on people!They were also very open to answer any questions people had.

Then they provide you with a spectacular tour of the coast while sharing knowledge about the history of the coast line, Hawaiian culture and general ocean sea life. Majestic experience on the sea

My family, including four kids, had a wonderful time on the Na Pali coast boat tour. The crew went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience. We saw bottlenose and spinner dolphins and tons of whales up close. The views of the coast were mesmerizing. Although the weather did not cooperate for snorkeling, the crew made up for it by letting us jump off the boat and swim. It was a day to remember and a highlight for the kids!

Kauai Na Pali Coast Snorkeling Tour & Sea Cave Adventure by Makana Charters

Went on the afternoon trip with my best friend, we went as a birthday outing for him. The trip was SPECTACULAR, the cliffs and the water were gorgeous, we saw a a whale, the captain regaled us with facts of the coastline, and saw one of the sea caves. It was a little rough and we did not go in but it was still just as amazing all the same. We did not do any snorkeling (as it would be a little late in the day to do so) but we were permitted to jump out of the boat to swim around. It was fun, had a nice little meal. I will definitely go with this tour again if given the chance. A+.

This cruise was perfect for our 6 and 10 yr old kids. We really enjoyed the friendly staff and the snorkeling!
Id also like to add if you get even a teeny bit seasick i highly recommend taking some motion sickness medication. It was choppy and boy did I feel it the last hour or so!
Despite that, I'd do this cruise over again in a heartbeat.

Kauai Na Pali Coast Snorkeling Tour & Sea Cave Adventure by Makana Charters
I WOULD BOOK WITH MAKANA AGAIN

I do not know where to start. On September 20th we boarded the boat with Captain A’a and his daughter Ri (Ree). They were professional, knowledgeable, fun, and worth every penny. Whether you are serious about snorkeling (like me) or just looking to see the sites (my husband) you will enjoy this excursion.
On land they will divide you up into groups and then Captain A’a will explain the do’s and don’ts while on his boat (by the way do not bring bananas or granola bars as snacks – he will explain). He is serious about the don’ts. The Captain and his daughter are very knowledgeable of the area (ask them anything) and they are so much fun.
I would definitely recommend the Makana Charters and I highly recommend Captain A’a and his daughter. Thank you both for a fabulous time and making us feel like your friend – not just a customer.
