My husband and I had a super sensational time. We loved the water splashing on us and seeing the spectacular coastline was so amazing. My husband loved going under the waterfall and getting drenched so much fun and going in close to look inside a cave. Crew were exceptional as safety was their main goal and the food was delicious. Highly recommend it to anyone.

Nice and comfortable helicopters. Pilot (Geoffrey) was awesome and had excellent choices in music selection to fit the scenery.

Must do activity for Kauai! The only way to see all of Kauai.

The cruise was extremely relaxing and scenic. Seeing Fern Grotto was totally magical, it's unlike anything we'd ever seen before. The botanical gardens at Smith's are breathtaking, and the food at the Luau was to die for! We really enjoyed ourselves, and the show was the perfect ending to our Hawaiian Luau experience!

We had a great time on this tour - It was also nice that they picked us up from/dropped us off at our hotel. We saw a ton of sights, got some AMAZING scenery shots, learned a lot, and it familiarized us with the island. The tour guide was funny, knowledgeable and really nice. Would do it again in a heartbeat!

Best Luau Ever

This luau was beyond our expectations. We went for the gold seating (worth it). We had a table right up front. Upon entering we were able to learn a few hula moves with the poi balls and do some shopping with local vendors. Open bar! All you could drink all through dinner. Hula dancers before and during dinner. Group hula lesson - fun! Buffet food was good - dessert delicious. Show after dinner was spectacular!! We also went to the plantation a couple of hours before the luau started to enjoy a tour of the old plantation house (with shops) and did some run tasting. Definitely worth the money. I would highly recommend this event.

Luau Okay Train Ride a Waste of time.

I've been to a lot of luaus. This one was okay. Food was average but nothing special. Buffet was hot and line went quickly.
Show was very good although not what most people would expect for a Luau. The show was a portrayal of how the first people came to Kauai. Very good but would have liked to seen more traditional dances.
The train ride is a waste of $18 and 45 minutes. would not recommend taking it at all unless you like to see pigs and chickens.

Staff was efficient and friendly.

Probably would not go back to this luau again.

Na Pali Coast Explorer Ocean Rafting Snorkel Tour (from Kikiaola Harbor)

AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!!! MUST DO FOR KAUAI!!!!

This was the best trip next to our helicopter ride that we took! The crew were wonderful and a lot of fun. We had great weather and a small group which allowed us more time to go further up the coast and see more of the sea caves. Up close and personal with two pods of dolphins and 2 large groups of sea turtles, so close to the boat you could reach out and touch them. The small raft was a perfect way to see this part of Kauai's coast. So much more fun than the big sailing boats. Getting in and out of the raft at the beach landing was a little tough but the crew were right there to assist you.

This was a once in a lifetime trip and well worth the time and money. Had a blast and would do it again when I come back.

Na Pali Coast Explorer Ocean Rafting Snorkel Tour (from Kikiaola Harbor)

This tour started at 9 am with a very friendly introduction of the island of kauai as well as how the coast was formed with a local flare. We set out with Captain Dennis shortly after 9:30, he and his crew did a very good job at making sure all of the guest were comfortable and relaxed. We were able to sit on both sides of the boat which made it really fun because of the splashes from the water. We cruised for about 20 minutes before we encountered spinner dolphins, whales, and we also saw a lonely sea turtle floating passed our boat. Throughout the whole trip the deckhands were telling stories, legends and filling us in all the movies that were filmed on the Na Pali coast. We were able to venture passed many waterfalls and sea caves one of which Captain Dennis backed the boat right into the cave so we all could take pictures of the inside. It seemed dangerous but the Captain was fully in control the whole time. On the way back the surf was huge so we snorkeled in a calm area in front of the coast which was crystal clear and we could see all the way to the bottom about 40 feet. One of the deckhands actually went all the way down and pulled up some sand for me bottom. Lunch was good but not great. Bento's were a bit cold from sitting in the cooler but they were still tasty, it needed shoyu and some kind of hot sauce. They ride back was comfortable the whole way with more stories being told about the living in kauai and how the alii influenced the lifestyle. The local long haired deckhand was awesome we even met a pro surfer at the coast. Definitely recommend seeing the Na Pali coast in the water instead of paying three times the amount for 1/4 of the time. Perfect way to spend the morning and afternoon.

Smith’s Fern Grotto River Cruise with Live Hawaiian Music & Hula

Absolutely loved the cruise!

The cruise up the river on the barge was well narrated and very enjoyable. A great deal of history and general information about the area was shared with us, and various landmarks were pointed out.

Once we reached the Fern Grotto, we were entertained by the Smith family as they played the traditional wedding song, and we were given additional information about the Fern Grotto itself - including it's history and how it was made famous.

The return ride on the barge included the entertainers joining us and continuing the music and dancing. Visitors were encouraged to learn to hula and taught various moves.

As someone who tends to get very seasick, I had no issues at all on the cruise. Not even in the slightest.

The tour was great and the guide had a lot of knowledge about Kauai. I was pleased to see how much of the south shore was covered in the tour. I wish they would have gone to the two other lookout points on the canyon before turning back but otherwise the stops were great. The river cruise was a little disappointing and the fern grotto, even though beautiful, wasn't worth the time spent getting there. If I had to do it again, I would just do the tour.

Brisk but a great time

The day started off cooler than expected but the staff was extremely motivating and friendly so I'm glad we did it. A long bumpy ride to the entry site and then they put the tubes in the stream and it was a go from there. The water was brisk but once your butt was numb you hardly noticed anymore. Going through the tunnels was awesome and it felt like and adventure through the jungle. Nothing to worry about as the guides are with you the entire time. A nice healthy lunch in the sun to warm back up and then it was back to the shop. All in all, it was a lot of fun!

Deluxe Na Pali Experience Snorkel Tour, Breakfast & Lunch - Holo Holo Charters

Fun Day and Amazing Scenery

This trip was really good, there were a few little downfalls, but overall we really had a great time! The only negatives were that we had to snorkel as soon as we went out that morning because the captain had warned us it would be too rough by the afternoon, so it was a little chilly at 9 am and our snorkel spot didn't have much to see. When we got back on board, there was a really nice breakfast waiting for us and drinks flowing. We saw some sea turtles and whales and dolphins, and the captain always slowed down and let us get pics, etc. The ride out to the Na Pali Coast was awesome...(got really rough towards the end, and a few people were a little green), but when we stopped at the coast.....we all felt it was totally worth it for those views....amazing!!! We had lots of time for pics, the crew was awesome...full of interesting info and facts, and so quick to get you drinks or take your pic...they made it really great!! Lunch was also really good and we rode on the nets on the way back with the waves splashing up on us....really had a great day!!

Mario was an excellent driver and tour guide. We got to see so much of Kauai on this day-long tour. He gave us many hints beyond the tour if what to see, etc. We too the tour the first day we arrived. The information we gained helped orient us on our first trip to the Garden Island. Wonderful sites and LOTS of stops, well spaced and paced. We enjoyed the 24 passenger van and all the participants too.

This was a great adventure and our guide was very good!
I do think one should be warned a little more of how muddy the trail to the falls is, but even with that it was beautiful and fun. I would recommend this to anyone younger and in decent shape...if you have bad knees or are excessively heavy you would be much more prone to injury on the hike.
Overall experience was fabulous!

Kauai ATV Waterfall Tour at Kipu Ranch - Off-Road 3-Hour Expedition

Mark and Mano were our guides for the 4 hour ATV waterfall tour. It was kinda wet out but that didn't stop any of us from having a great time. It had been raining for three days prior as well so the trails were muddy and lots of fun! We rode in a side by side (tyrex) and slip and slide through the mud we got to see some of the most amazing views of the island! Kipu ranch is gorgeous with two waterfalls on the tour and a giant bamboo forest you have never seen before! Plus a chance to swing into the same river as Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones!! So much fun! The guides are careful considerate and knowledgeable! The lunch was the best deli sandwiches I've ever had with Marks mothers home made bread and cookies! Yum! So good. Recommend this tour! The best on the island! Cool photo opportunity at the end with a large Kipu Ranch frame!

So much fun! You enter and receive a shell lei and then take a ride on a tour through the beautiful botanical gardens. We watched as they dug up the traditional kalua pig steamed beneath large banana leaves. The buffet was delicious! don't hold back on the fried rice!! All you can drink mai tai's too! The botanical gardens were even more enchanting as dusk set in and you can walk across bridges to small islands on the grounds. Through dinner we were entertained by the Smith Family singing island music and hula dancing. Also sang happy birthday and the wedding song to all those celebrating honey moons and birthdays! Afterwards we all headed to the outdoor theater to watch many different traditional island dances and songs. It was beautiful, including a fire show! Highly recommend the entire experience. Well worth the cost. WE even paid for the $20 picture that they took for us when we entered with some of the crew members. We have it hanging on our wall!
