We were caught in a little rain along the way, but the boat took us into the steep cliffs and the entrance of a cave, and I was overwhelmed by the beauty of nature. I even saw a whale's tail dancing on the surface of the water in the distance. On our way back, while watching the sunset over the sea and nearing the port, the last song that played was "Let It Be," which really touched me. The captain and the crew were all very friendly. I was disappointed that I couldn't drink beer since I had to drive. The parking lot is dark and not very busy at night, so be sure not to leave any valuables in the car.

The view of the Na Pali Coast is amazing. It's definitely worth seeing at least once. Personally, I have experienced sunset cruises in Hawaii several times, but the sunset cruise in Maui, where I saw whales and dolphins, was incredible. There was live ukulele music on board playing EZ songs, which was great, but if you're just looking to see the Na Pali Coast, this cruise was fantastic.

This snorkel sail was by far the highlight of our vacation in Kauai. For years I've dreamed of sailing along the Na Pali coast and it was more beautiful than I ever imagined. The emerald cliffs were absolutely breathtaking. Other passengers spotted whales breaching the water nearby but I couldn't take my eyes of the coast. As we began our sail back to the harbor we were accompanied by a pod of dolphins who swam alongside and in front of our boat for several minutes; it was magical.
My fiance's favorite part of the cruise was the snorkeling. We had so much fun swimming in a secluded cove and spotting unique marine life.
I can't leave out the exceptional crew. As we sailed along the coast they pointed out historic sites, popular film locations, famous (and notorious) hikes, and told us about the local wildlife.
We'll relish in the memories of this tour forever!

Since watching Jurassic Park, I had always wanted to visit the Na Pali Coast. However, my expectations were too high, and I was a bit disappointed. My daughters, who joined me, seemed to have a great time and were very excited. The crew members were also very kind, which was nice.

Holo Holo Super Kauai Snorkel Tour - Niihau & Na Pali Coast Adventure with Breakfast, Lunch & Drinks

We had a great time on this snorkel cruise! The Na Pali Coast is gorgeous and our crew made the experience that much better by being so friendly and accommodating. They were right there if you needed anything, ready to answer any questions you had and give background information on the island, and were even offering to take pictures for you. We were fortunate to get to see so much marine life from the boat--dolphins, whales, sea turtles, manta rays, and a baby octopus. The only downside is that we wish we could have snorkeled for a longer period of time (because we love it!). The ride back to Kauai from Niihau was definitely rough, but we took Dramamine beforehand and wore sea bands, which all seemed to help. The crew definitely lightened the mood with jokes and took efficient care of those unfortunate few who got sick. We would definitely recommend this excursion!

The approaching Na Pali Coast was nothing short of breathtaking, far more impressive than what you see in videos. Returning to port while watching the sunset was a truly fulfilling experience. The captain and the crew were very kind, and even though I couldn't speak English, their consideration allowed me to relax. The meals were satisfying, with unlimited tacos and alcohol.

The weather was bad the day before, and it was raining in the morning on the day of the trip, so I participated with the feeling that it would be lucky if we could see anything at all. However, by the time we arrived at the Napali Coast, the weather improved, and we were able to enjoy the stunning views.

On the way, we even got to see dolphins, which was amazing. Cruising while watching the changing scenery was fantastic, and on the way back, we enjoyed a champagne service while watching the sunset, making for a perfect time.

This activity has all instructions in English, but I highly encourage participation even if you don't speak English. You can still have a great time, and the crew is very attentive, making sure you are comfortable throughout the experience.

When you think of snorkeling in Okinawa or Asian beach resorts, you might be disappointed in terms of coral and fish visibility. However, the breathtaking views of the Na Pali Coast are truly moving. Floating in the sea while looking up at the towering rock formations feels amazing. We even encountered dolphins and sea turtles, and if you approach it as a cruising experience, I think you'll be very satisfied.

■ Boat Facilities
Since it's a catamaran, it doesn't sway too much, but the cruising time is long, so those who are not used to it should be cautious of seasickness. There is a space inside the boat to shield you from the wind, and it also has a restroom.

■ Useful Items to Bring
It can get chilly when the wind hits your wet body, so a waterproof windbreaker would be handy. The snorkeling gear provided is relatively basic, so if you have your own snorkel and mask, it might be better to bring them along.

■ Meals
Breakfast: Cinnamon rolls, croissants, fruit, coffee
Lunch: Make-your-own sandwiches & salad, pasta
Drinks: Sprite, cola, green tea, beer, wine (white & red), etc.
The salad and ham were fresh, making for quite delicious sandwiches.

■ Surrounding Information

We didn't drive, so we took an Uber (costing $46 from Lihue) to get there, and on the way back, we happened to catch a bus to Lihue, which cost $2, and transferred from the bus to Uber. Most people probably rent cars, but since there are few Uber drivers on Kauai, it's wise to consider the risk of not being able to get one.

No complaints about the boat, captain and crew. It was all professional and attentive. Food was great, beer selection included local and usual brands. As advertised, they don't overcrowd the boat, so there's plenty of room for the passengers. I do recommend a light jacket and hat. Unless you stay in the cabin, you will get wet. How much will depend on where you sit/stand. Amazing views to be seen and we were lucky enough to see a school of porpoises jumping around the ship. Sunset off the aft (back) of the ship was worth it.

We participated as a couple, and all the other participants were foreigners. On the way there, we took a boat and after about 30 minutes of searching for dolphins, we went snorkeling. The water was a bit cold, but we enjoyed it for about 30 minutes. However, the coral wasn't as impressive as in Okinawa. After about an hour, we arrived at the Na Pali Coast. The breathtaking view was spectacular and definitely worth the trip (see photo). We spent about an hour exploring around the Na Pali Coast, and then had lunch on the way back, but I couldn't eat due to seasickness. Unfortunately, I had to have my lunch packed to go. About 30 minutes before disembarking, the waves calmed down, and I recovered from the seasickness, allowing me to have a late lunch. We made it back safely.

One point to note: the meeting place, "Port Allen Marine Center," refers to the area, but you need to go to the tour company "Holo Holo." I found this out by asking at a different office. I would like the voucher to reflect this information.

はその辺りの場所のことで、催行会社の「Holo Holo」に
行かねばなりません。別の事務所で聞いて分かったことです。
バウチャーにはそのように書いてほしいです。

We participated as a three-generation family, including parents and children. The cruise was conducted in English only, but thanks to the staff's attentive care, we didn't have much trouble understanding before or during the trip, even though we didn't speak the language.

The cruise lasted about four hours, and right after we set off, we encountered a sea turtle. After that, whales and dolphins kept appearing, and of course, the Na Pali Coast and the sunset were stunning, leaving us no time to get bored.

The service for drinks and food was also quite satisfactory. If you have the opportunity to visit Kauai, I highly recommend considering this experience.

クルーズは英語オンリー、でも、スタッフの手厚い気遣いで、言葉が分からなくても、乗船前も乗船中もあまり困りませんでした。

Tour good, but long for us

The tour, boat, crew, food, and scenery were great. For us, water was too cold to snorkel and 5 hours was too long. Probably would have done better on a 2-3 hour cruise. We did see porpoise, turtles, a monk seal and whale spouts, so the company delivered- it was more our issues that made it too long for us. Also, it is a 1 hr, 45 min drive from princeville to marina, so should have signed up for afternoon tour, not morning.

Right from the get go we knew we'd picked the best . Check-in was a breeze with happy to see us staff. Captain was great and made us feel at ease going out on the deep. The cat was neat clean tidy an the crew were constantly making sure we had wont for nothing. Beautiful sights of porpoises whales and turtles. Weather kept us away from Napali coast but it was still a great adventure. Moholo Holo Holo.

We started our tour from Wailea by rental car, visiting places like the Tree Tunnel, Hanapepe Valley, and Old Koloa Town, with a lunch break along the way, and reached Port Allen in about four hours.

In front of the meeting point at the Holoholo Charters office, there’s a Kauai Chocolate shop! I was really impressed by the samples (laughs). When we arrived at 1:00 PM, newlywed couples and others began to gather.

The captain of the cruiser and the female crew were friendly and kind. Of course, the views of the Na Pali Coast were stunning. Although it was the rainy season in November and it rained a bit, it stopped quickly, allowing us to see a beautiful full-size rainbow. We even encountered dolphins welcoming us! The sunset provided an incredible photo opportunity.

It can be quite bumpy. Most people are fine, but if you're worried about seasickness, I recommend taking motion sickness medication.

I highly recommend this experience. Be aware that drinks like beer and wine are unlimited!

集合場所のホロホロチャーターズの事務所前にカウアイチョコレートのショップあり！試食で大感激（笑）。１：００PMについて待ってると新婚のカップルなどなど集合してきました。
クルーザーのキャプテンや女性クルーも気さくで親切。もちろんナパリコーストの景観は素晴らしく。１１月雨季とのことで雨が降ったがすぐ止みおかげできれいな虹がホールサイズで見ることができました。イルカの歓迎にも遭遇！もちろんサンセットはまたとない写真が撮れました。
かなり揺れます。ほとんどの人は平気ですが船酔い心配なかたは酔い止め薬を。
絶対オススメです。飲み物はビール、ワイン、など飲み放題なのでご注意を。

I participated with my husband. There were about 40 participants, but we were the only Japanese. The staff doesn't understand Japanese, but it's not a matter of life and death. It would be even better if you can speak English at a conversational level.

On the way to Na Pali Coast, there are points where you can go snorkeling. If you're lucky, you might swim with turtles and dolphins. It's a valuable experience!

The breathtaking views of Na Pali Coast will be etched in your memory! The boat goes at a decent speed, so be careful of seasickness. By the way, I personally got seasick due to fatigue from work the day before and lack of sleep.

I've been on the boat for 7 hours, and since most of that time is spent traveling at high speed, it can get a bit boring. In that case, being able to have fun conversations with the other 20 or so passengers is key. The staff is very friendly, you can see dolphins, you can go snorkeling, and making your own sandwiches for lunch was enjoyable. Overall, I had a great time.

As we approached the Na Pali Coast, the waves grew higher, and being on the deck, I could feel the rocking and splashes of water directly. The staff's attentiveness and service were excellent, and I was happy that they took photos of scenes I couldn't capture by myself. The food was delicious, and I was very satisfied.

On the way there and back, we passed both close to and far from the cliffs, allowing us to enjoy the mountainside and the distant scenery. It was a comfortable voyage on the clear waters of the sea. While the engine was running, I had a great time getting soaked with seawater on the front deck with people from various countries. We were the only Japanese people on board, but the crew noticed that my companion didn't understand English very well, and I was really happy that they took special care of us.

You take off your shoes at the dock and board the boat barefoot. Most of the passengers are Westerners, with about 10% being Asians, including Japanese. The crew spoke only English, but they were friendly and pleasant. After departing, drinks and appetizers are served. Following that, you can enjoy dishes including tacos. It gets quite rocky, so I think it's better to wear a swimsuit.

I visited Kauai for the first time last year and loved it, so I returned again this year. I did the Na Pali Coast cruise last year as well, but this time I chose a tour that allowed snorkeling off the coast of Niihau and got us close to the cliffs.

The snorkeling off Niihau was fantastic, with some deep areas to explore, and getting close to the cliffs was very impressive.

However, the boat does rock quite a bit. On the day of the tour, the sea conditions were very calm, but especially on the way back, it swayed quite a lot, possibly to pick up speed. Our family barely avoided getting seasick (except for my father, who took motion sickness medication), but it was a close call. The foreign ladies on board were being handed buckets one after another.

If you are prone to motion sickness or have any concerns, I recommend taking motion sickness medication.

That said, I believe this tour is worth participating in, even with medication. I especially recommend it for those who are experiencing the Na Pali Coast tour for the first time!

ただ、船がかなり揺れます。ツアー当日、海の状態はとても穏やかでしたが、特に帰路はスピートを出すためか、かなりの勢いで縦横に揺れます。我々家族は辛うじて酔いませんでしたが（父親以外酔い止め薬服用）、ギリギリの感じでした。外国のご婦人方は次々とバケツを渡されていました。
乗り物酔いをしやすい方、少しでもご心配な方は酔い止め薬を飲むことをお勧めします。

とはいえ、酔い止め薬を飲んででも参加する価値のあるツアーだと思います。特にナ・パリ・コースト　ツアー初めての方にはお勧めです！

It took about an hour to get to the snorkeling point. The sea had some transparency, but it felt like a black ocean, and while there were a few fish, it wasn't beautiful at all. You might want to reconsider making snorkeling the main focus. For a light breakfast, we had fruit and sweet bread. For lunch, I made a sandwich (but I couldn't eat it because I felt nauseous). We stopped the boat at various photo spots, and everyone was taking pictures. I had anticipated this based on the reviews I read, but even with motion sickness medication, it was tough. Be sure to bring motion sickness medication and a jacket for rain and wind!

おおよそ１時間くらいかけて、シュノーケリングポイントへ。海は透明度は若干あるものの、黒い海といった感じで、魚は少しいましたが、まったくキレイではありませんでした。シュノーケルをメインには考えないほうがいいでしょう。軽い朝食は、フルーツと甘いパン。昼食は自作のサンドイッチ（私は酔いそうで、たべれませんでした）ところどころ、写真スポットで船を停止させ、みんな撮影してました。口コミみて行ったので予想できていましたが、酔い止め飲んでもきつかったです。必ず酔い止めと、雨よけ風よけの上着は持参してくださいね！

Amazing tour with Captain & crew out to the Na Pali Coast and Niihau island! We had an amazing time! Drew and Kamaile were awesome hosts making us feel comfortable and welcoming us all onboard. The other crew members made sure we were aware of safety and security while onboard and allowing us to experience the underwater world during our snorkeling adventures.

Lunch was light and filling at the same time, beers were always cold! Wine and beer was readily available anytime we wanted one. Fruit and humus was awesome! Homemade ranch dip and homemade humus was so delicious!

We watched the staff engage in great conversations with everyone onboard including the kids! Captain took us out to the sea caves and waterfalls up close and personal! It was such an enchanting tour and we look forward to going on another tour some time!

Bare feet on the boat is a requirement unless you have a medical condition. Dry cubbies available for personal belongings you wanted to keep dry.
I highly recommend you bring a waterproof bag to keep your personal items with you or close by you so you don't have to keep going back and forth into the cabin for the things you need. I had a large Calvin Kline bag that was waterproof and I was able to tuck it right under my seat without worrying about my personal belongings getting wet. You can bring your own snorkel gear otherwise you can use the boats gear anytime. If you haven't been on a boat or it's been quite sometime since you've been on a boat, I recommend you take dremamime or other motion sickness meds before boarding because the ride will and can be rough on the belly. Bring your own towels and don't forget your go pros and or other water proof cameras because you will be seeing lots of amazing things out there!
