I thought a two-hour horseback ride might be long, but I decided to book it since I felt two hours would be necessary to see places like the filming locations of Jurassic World. My horse was very gentle and well-behaved. There were some horses that started eating the grass by the roadside and stopped along the way. (I realized this is what "taking a detour" really means.) It was a one-hour mountain biking course. The staff accompanied us at the front and back, and at several spots, we stopped to listen to explanations and take photos. When I asked the staff to take pictures, they used props to create fun photos and videos, which was really enjoyable!

The mountain biking ended just after 10 AM, but the return bus only departed at 1 PM, leaving us with over two hours of free time... Since there were no other activities I wanted to add for an extra fee, I canceled the return bus (no refunds) and made my way back on my own with THE BUS.

Please be cautious if you choose to include transportation!

Besides the E-bike, there are buggies and bus tours that cover similar routes, but the top recommendation is the E-bike. I experienced the 2-hour E-bike course and the sea kayaking course at Kualoa Ranch! The E-bike was really, really fun! The scenery was breathtaking, and since it’s an electric bike, it was not tiring at all. The guide was very cheerful and took photos and videos for us! I thought the 1-hour course might not be enough, so I’m glad I chose the 2-hour course! The sea kayaking was a bit scary with the waves, and we didn’t progress very well, but the guide helped pull us along, so we managed to reach our destination! The lunch was a bit disappointing, but both experiences were truly great!

We participated in a two-hour course as a couple. Since we don't usually ride mountain bikes, we were a bit anxious, but it was great that we had some time to practice in a wide area before hitting the course. Plus, the electric assist made it easy and comfortable to ride. On the wide paths, we rode in two columns, but since it wasn't a race, if you felt confident, you could move to the front of the group, and if not, you could just take it slow at the back. You generally get the hang of it once you join. We were at the front of the group, following the staff.

There were several places along the way where we could take breaks and take photos. The staff were kind, and if you asked them, they were happy to take pictures for you. I think it would be nice if they could provide towels and water as well.

Actually, we initially planned to join a four-wheeler buggy tour, but switching to the e-bike was the right choice. The reason is that if the group at the front happens to be slow, it can feel like a traffic jam, and you might find the pace a bit lacking. Even if you want to go ahead, you can't overtake due to the width of the course. With the e-bike, you can adjust the formation of the line based on the pace, and if you encounter a slow-moving buggy group, you can easily overtake them. In fact, this option offers more mobility and comfort. The day we participated was cloudy, so it was nice and cool while riding.

There's still more to share, but that's the gist of it.

実は最初四輪バギーのツアーに参加する予定でしたが、eバイクにして正解⭕でした。何故かと言うと、グループの先頭がたまたま遅かったりすると、渋滞っぽくなりゆっくりだらだら進むため、人によったら物足りなさを感じるかもしれません。先にいきたくてもコース幅の関係で追い抜きできませんし。eバイクならペースにより列の編成を変えたりできるし、ゆっくり走るバギーのグループに出くわしても端からガンガン追い抜き出来ました。実はこちらの方が機動力もあり快適です。参加した日は曇りだったので走ると涼しくてよかったです。

This was my third time participating in the tour. I joined with my girlfriend. The shuttle bus for previous tours was like a Ku'alola Ranch-style (a Western-style bus that was frankly quite old), but this time it was a regular large sightseeing bus, and it was a very clean bus. The comfort of the shuttle has improved.

After arriving, we immediately completed the reservation confirmation process, then stored our luggage in a locker before participating in the activities. After watching a safety video, we started with about six other participants on the same course.

This time it was a two-hour course, but the accompanying woman was constantly on her phone, just texting. Last time, at a Ku'alola-like place, there was a service where they took pictures of the participants with their phones in turn, but this time there was none at all. 今回2時間コースでしたが、付き添いの女性は　ずっと携帯でメールばかりをしていました。前回は、クアロラっぽい場所で順番に参加者の携帯で写真を撮ってくれたりのサービスがあったのですが、今回は全くありません。しかも、コースも、ジュラシックパークの恐竜の骨の残骸スポットも通ることなく？　30分以上　時間を残しての終了となりました。　　アテンドのスタッフでここまで違うのか！　とがっかりしました。
私たちは３度目だ要領を得ていましたが、初めての参加者は絶景なコースを通らなかったので、林間コースを中心とする乗馬と感じたでしょう、、、

A few days ago, I received a notification about a change in the horseback riding course. I was really looking forward to it, so it was disappointing that I couldn't reschedule due to the last-minute notice. Since it was a change for some event, I wondered if they had known about it earlier.

During the horseback riding, I didn't have to control the horse at all; it just walked along the designated path. The guide explained things a couple of times, but it was too far away, and I couldn't hear well. For the rest of the time, I was riding while checking my phone and making calls.

The horses were cute, and it was a fun experience overall. I recommend participating without high expectations for the guide, and just enjoy the horseback riding experience and the scenery.

数日前に、乗馬コースの変更連絡がありました。コースを楽しみにしていたのに直前の連絡でリスケできず残念でした。何かのイベントの為の変更だったので、もっと前から分かっていたのでは、、？と思いました。
乗馬は、特に自分で操作することも無く、馬がひたすら決められた道を歩きます。ガイドの女の子は2回ほどその場の説明していましたが、遠くてよく聞こえませんでした。そのほかの時間は乗馬しながら携帯でメールしたり電話していました。
馬は可愛いし、乗馬は楽しい経験でした。ガイドは期待せず、乗馬体験と景色を楽しみに参加されるのが、オススメです。

I chose a children's bike because it was too big for me to reach the pedals, but it was tough to ride! (laughs) The male guide spoke broken Japanese, but he was very friendly! He took a lot of photos for us. My husband's bike got a flat tire, but the cool female guide who was behind us responded quickly and really helped us out. It was a tour where we could truly feel the nature of Hawaii, and I was very satisfied.

What I messed up on was the tip! I got off the bike to thank them and ended up parting ways. I thought, "Wait, was I supposed to give the tip at that moment?!" I went back, but the male guide was already gone. I managed to give the tip to the female guide, though. I'm sorry because tipping is not a custom in Japan.

We were blessed with good weather, but I think if it had rained, I wouldn't have been able to manage since I don't usually ride bikes. There are also steep hills, so please be careful while riding to avoid injuries.

あれ、あのタイミングで渡さないとダメだった⁉︎となり戻りましたが、男性ガイドさんはもう見当たらず、なんとか女性ガイドさんに渡すことはできましたが。
チップの習慣が日本にはないので申し訳なかったです。
天気に恵まれましたが、雨だったら普段自転車に乗らない私は無理だったかな、と思います。急な坂もありますので怪我しないよう気をつけて運転して下さいね。
