We headed to Kualoa Ranch while picking up participants from each hotel. Upon arrival, there was an explanation in Japanese, which was easy to understand. By the way, the explanation while riding is in English. The two-hour ride through the vast grounds, with its ups and downs, offered beautiful views from high places. Since you stay on the horse the whole time, it might feel a bit long if it's your first time riding. They took photos for us as a service. I would like to visit again the next time I go to Hawaii.

Most of the time took pictures and saw the historical hollywood filming locations. The best part was when a staff took pictures for us at a ranch and made us run from one side to another. Absolutely had no clue of why we had to run but there was a video recorded by the staff which was incredible. There was a toy dinosaur that looked like it was chasing after us (like one of the scenes you see in the movies). The ways how they record you on video and take photos are splendid and their ideas are so creative.

We participated as a couple. Since it was a day to drive around Maui with a rental car, we opted for the meet-up plan, but we arrived just in time for check-in. There were some traffic jams, so I think it's best for those going on their own to plan to arrive early.

We took turns driving. It was a pretty long drive, so it was good to switch off. Our faces got really dirty! My clothes were covered in dust, so I recommend wearing clothes that you wouldn't mind throwing away.

Driving a buggy at high speed through the great outdoors was thrilling and a lot of fun! The guide only spoke English, so I didn't understand much of the commentary along the way, but I still enjoyed the scenery.

I went to Hawaii for the first time on my honeymoon.

I was a bit anxious about whether I would be able to ride a horse since it was my first experience, but there was no problem at all!! The guide (who spoke English, but it was fine) provided great assistance while riding, so I felt reassured. They chose a horse that suited me. The horse was very smart, and when I gave commands with my legs, it would walk along the trail by itself, which was amusing.

While riding, I was able to enjoy the beautiful sea and mountains, experiencing the magnificent nature that you can't feel in Japan. I'm really glad I participated! It became my favorite memory of the Hawaii trip.

First, we crossed the fish farming pond in a small boat and visited several locations used as filming sites for movies.

After that, we made our way to the sandy beach and switched to a glass-bottom boat to head out to sea. You can see the majestic mountains, including Kualoa Ranch, from the water! The view was breathtaking, just like the pictures on postcards! We also got close to Chinaman's Hat, which was clearly visible. The color of the sea changed beautifully between the shallow and deep areas.

We stopped for a bit offshore, and our guide helped us look for sea turtles. This time, we spotted sea turtles surfacing for air four times, and one of them was huge and very close to the boat.

When the turtles were hard to find, our guide cheerfully suggested looking over there or pointed out an island that looked like a turtle. They were very engaging and even took photos for us, showing great hospitality!

One thing to note is that when switching to the boat heading out to sea, it stops on the sandy beach without a dock, so you need to time your boarding with the waves; otherwise, your shoes might get wet. I wore sneakers and managed to get on and off at the right time, but since we walked on the beach, I wouldn't recommend wearing shoes you don't want to get dirty.

ガイドさんも亀が見当たらないときは、あっちを見てた方がいいよ！や、あそこに亀の形に見える島があるよ〜など楽しくおしゃべりしてくれました。
写真を撮ってくれたりなど、サービス精神旺盛でした！

注意点としては、沖に出る船に乗り換える際に砂浜に船がとまっているので桟橋などなく、波が引いたタイミングに乗り込まないと靴が濡れます。
私はスニーカーで行きましたが、タイミングよく乗り降りできたので大丈夫でしたが、砂浜を歩いたりするので汚したくない靴などで行くのはおすすめしません。

The scenery was very beautiful, and I felt relaxed from start to finish. The instructor got off the buggy and explained the area thoroughly, but since everything was in English, I had some trouble understanding. However, they were very kind, taking lots of photos and chatting with us.

Even though the buggy couldn't go very fast, it was thrilling and quite bumpy! There was a part where we drove into what seemed like a pond, which was really exciting at the end! A lot of dust gets in your eyes, so it's better to wear goggles or glasses. Your clothes will also get quite dirty from the dust!

I participated in this tour a little while ago. The pick-up from the hotel and the support on-site were very good. Compared to similar Japanese-speaking tours organized by other travel agencies, the price was significantly lower and felt very worthwhile. I participated with my two elementary school children (a 6th grader and a 1st grader). There were reviews mentioning that it shakes quite a bit, but it was more manageable than I expected. The guide spoke entirely in English (including safety instructions), so I didn't understand much, but we enjoyed the atmosphere. There is a bit of a hike to the top, but participation is optional. We had a great time. This place is a well oiled machine. From the pickup of transportation to the management of getting you to your tour. The tour was so cool. Two hours of UTV ride through beautiful mountains. Stops along the way to see movie sets and exquisite view points. We could not have been happier. We even had a water crossing. Our hosts were fantastic and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend it to all!

We did the movie sites tour which was great! Our tour guide was incredibly informative and very passionate about the ranch. We didn’t have a chance to do more like the Jurassic tour or zip lining, so if we get a chance to come back - those are on our list to do next time!

Your face can get quite dusty, so having a towel to wipe your face after washing it with water would be helpful. We enjoyed the scenery as a group while riding in a line, but the girl at the front of the group felt a bit anxious when the path split, as there were no instructions on which way to go, and she kept looking back to wait for the guide. Although we were a group of six, we could hardly hear the guide along the way, so it felt like we were mostly enjoying the horseback riding and the scenery on our own. The views of both the sea and the mountains were fantastic. The guide's response was good, but I think it would be even more enjoyable if those two points were improved. Also, since it wasn't a lead horse, I thought it would be reassuring to have the best rental options available.
