If you speak Japanese well, you can call for assistance at any time upon arrival. I was reassured to hear that even during the activities, the staff would respond in Japanese if requested.

The instructor who arrived was able to incorporate some basic Japanese, which made the experience enjoyable.

The scenery was amazing! At one point where we could see the ocean, we were lucky enough to spot whale spray! Although we didn't see the whale itself, it's not something you encounter often. It was a lucky moment!

I had a great time. The horses were very well-behaved, and I had no worries at all.

Yesterday, at the beginning of February, I went on an electric bike tour at Kualoa Ranch. It was the best experience. However...

1. Don't be mistaken thinking it's a small tour. They pick you up with two large buses from hotels in Honolulu. I think many people participate because there are various activities. Even though I waited quite early in the lobby at the pickup location, the guide didn't come. It seemed I had to go to the bus myself. After some time, the bus driver came, possibly having kept other guests waiting. Also, it's important to note that you need an English ID with a photo. Without a passport, you might face strict cancellation. A Japanese driver's license won't work. Since I didn't have one, I somehow managed to get on the bus with just my name and credit card. Although it feels uncomfortable to carry a passport, it seems to be the best option.

2. Even if it's sunny in Honolulu, it started to rain quite heavily in the northern Kualoa Ranch. I think the moist sea breeze from the north hits the mountains, making it prone to rain. It was fine at first, but then it turned into a downpour. If I had known, I would have brought rain gear... I got completely soaked and cold, and ended up buying a T-shirt and shorts on the way back. The mud splattered, making my shoes and clothes dirty. When I returned to the hotel, I washed what I was wearing. It's better not to wear nice shirts. Even if it's sunny in Honolulu, make sure to bring a change of clothes.

3. Most people are probably not used to electric bikes. You pedal, and while it's easy on hills with turbo mode, going downhill can be too fast if you don't change the setting. The tires are thick, but there are many gravel paths, making it difficult to ride. In fact, someone fell while going downhill. They were covered in blood, but the real injury was a significant wound on their palm. They probably went down in turbo mode and got too fast. It looked like they might need stitches at the hospital. １．小規模のツアーと思ったら大間違い
大きなバス2台で、ホノルルのホテルを回って連れて行ってくれます。
様々なアクティビティがあるから、たくさんの人が参加するのだと思う。
ずいぶん早くピックアップ場所のロビーで待っていても、ガイドは来てくれませんでした。
バスのところに行かなければならなかったようです。時間がたってから、たまりかねてバスの運転手がやってきて、他のお客さんを待たせたかも。
また、大事なのは、顔写真が映った英語のIDが必要です。
パスポートがないと厳しくキャンセルになるかも。
日本の免許証ではだめ。
持ってなかったので、名前とクレジットカードで何とかバスに乗れた。
パスポートを持っていくのは、気が引けるけど、それが一番らしい。

２．ホノルルが晴れていても、北のクアロア・ランチは、途中からかなり強い雨が降りだした。
湿った北からの海風が山にぶつかってお雨が降りやすいのだと思う。
最初はよかったけれど、途中から土砂降り。わかっていれば、雨具を持っていくけど・・・
ずぶ濡れになって、寒く、帰りにTシャツと半ズボンを購入した。
泥が跳ねて、靴も服も汚れる。ホテルに帰って、来ていたものを洗った。
いいシャツは着ていかないほうがいい。ホノルルが晴れていても、着替えを持っていくこと。

３、電動自転車は、おそらく大部分の人は慣れていない。こぐのだけど、坂道はターボで楽ちんだけど、下りは、設定を変えないとスピードが出すぎる。太いタイヤだけど、砂利道が多く、運転しにくい。
実際、下りで転倒した人がいた。血だらけになっていたが、実際は手掌に結構な傷ができていた。おそらく、ターボのままで下って、スピードが出すぎたのだと思う。病院での縫合が必要そうな傷だった。
途中でリタイヤとなり、迎えの車が必要で、皆雨の中、待機することになった。
スピードを出しすぎない慎重な運転が必要！
せっかくの旅行が・・・

４、雄大な景観は、忘れがたい思い出になります。
たくさんの映画の舞台になっています。
スタッフもとてもフレンドリーで、お勧めです。

ただし、初心者コースの自転車ツアーと思って甘く見ないこと・・・・

My husband and I did the side by side tour and it was nothing short of amazing! The views were breathtaking and the tour guide was so knowledgeable about the land and gave fun facts about Hawaii and surrounding areas. At each stop the tour guides made sure everyone got their pictures and were willing to lend a hand in getting the best pictures of your group. Next time we will have to bring our kids and plan to do more activities at the ranch. We could have spend a whole day, or two doing it all. The property was clean and well managed and the air conditioned bathrooms were a plus! We would 10/10 recommend this activity!

Since I didn't understand the English explanations very well, I enjoyed the location. The off-road paths were fun, and rushing through the last puddle was thrilling.

Although it was the rainy season, there was a break in the weather before we set off, so we left our jackets in the car and started out in short sleeves. However, as we headed towards the mountains, a cold drizzle began to fall. At first, we enjoyed the bumps of the buggy and splashing through puddles, but since there was no front window, rain poured in while driving, soaking our seats and leaving us completely drenched. By the end, it was too cold and quite uncomfortable.

The instructor was humorous and kind, taking photos for us. However, the instructor was dressed warmly in a raincoat and long sleeves and pants, so I thought it would have been nice if they had offered to lend us raincoats at least.

The advertisement featured a photo of passing through the Jurassic World gate, which my husband seemed to be looking forward to, but we only stopped at about three points, and we passed by what seemed to be the gate without stopping. My husband, a huge Jurassic Park fan, was a bit disappointed.

I think it's best to participate in this activity with the mindset of enjoying the magnificent mountains and nature in a buggy.

広告にはジュラシックワールドのゲートをくぐる写真があったので主人はそれを期待していたようでしたが、ストップポイントは3つほどでゲートと思われるところも素通り。ジュラシックパーク大ファンの主人は少しがっかりしていました。
バギーで壮大な山々と自然を楽しむアクティビティと思って参加するといいと思います。

At the pickup location at Twin Fin, several buses were parked, and there was no clear guidance on which bus to take, making it difficult to know where to go. It was a two-hour experience of rain coming and going. I was worried about whether I could enjoy it, but the misty scenery was fantastic. I was anxious about riding for two hours, but the smart horse mostly moved on its own. The instructor used a little Japanese, but it was mostly in English. I couldn't understand most of it, but I had a very enjoyable time riding for the first time in the great outdoors. Thank you very much.

Upon arrival, a staff member who spoke Japanese provided an explanation of the facilities at Kualoa Ranch. After the facility tour, we moved to each experience location. The horseback riding experience was conducted entirely in English, but before it started, we watched a Japanese instructional video (about 5 minutes long).

We were able to ride for a solid two hours. The weather was great, and I was moved to ride through the magnificent nature of the sea and mountains! It was my first time horseback riding, but the horses are smart and follow instructions well if you follow the video. Even if things don't go well, the guides are there to support you.

The guides for the horseback riding provided all explanations in English. The guide who accompanied us used some Japanese terms like "hidari" (left) and "migi" (right) to communicate.

As others have mentioned, my rear started to hurt after a while.

The tour fee does not include tips. I gave a $20 tip after getting off the horse.

It was truly amazing! Riding in a large bus without glass windows or a sightseeing bus while surrounded by vast nature gave me an incredible sense of adventure as we toured filming locations. During the filming location tour, I was thrilled to enjoy the great outdoors while feeling the wind! The staff were very kind, playing movie music and providing lively explanations, which made for a fun experience throughout. My memories of the trip to Hawaii became even more special. I want to go again!

I signed up for a 2-hour horseback riding course. Since I am not Japanese, the explanations were primarily in English, but they provided important parts in simple Japanese. Contrary to what I thought, the actual riding time was not short; after a brief video explanation, we set off immediately and were able to ride for almost the full 2 hours, enjoying the stunning views of both the sea and the mountains.

There was an explanation on how to use the reins, but the horse was well-trained and did not act up or stray from the course. Only a waist pouch type for carrying belongings is allowed (there are rentals available), so I recommend participants who are just experiencing horseback riding to come almost empty-handed. (Bags cannot be brought along and need to be placed in a $5 locker.)

Items like GoPro cameras cannot be hung around the neck. However, if you can attach them to your helmet or wear them on your arm, it might be possible to record videos. Photography was allowed at any time during the ride, as long as you did not stare at the screen.

荷物の持ち込みが腰に巻くタイプのポシェットのみ可（貸し出しもあります）ので乗馬のみ体験の方はほぼ手ぶらでの参加をおすすめします．（バックなどは持ち込めず5ドルのロッカーにいれる必要あり）
goproなども首に下げるかたちでは不可です．ヘルメットに装着したり腕につけられたら動画も可能かと思います．
写真撮影は画面を凝視しないという条件で乗馬中いつでも可能でした．

I was anxious since I had no experience with horseback riding, but I enjoyed it very much. After watching a simple video explanation, I got on the horse right away, and the horse was so smart that I didn't really have to give any commands. The guide was very attentive to everyone and led us well. She was a very cute guide. I don't think you can often experience horseback riding in such magnificent scenery. It was a wonderful experience! ☆

This was my second time participating in the tour! My child was thrilled and had a great time! Since we had a buggy, it was safe! There were some changes to the course compared to last year, but it was so much fun!! I am very satisfied!

Since almost everything is in English on-site, I couldn't understand the tour conductor's speech, but there was a Japanese video for the initial explanation, so it was fine. It's an experience that you can't have in Japan, so I definitely recommend it! We were a family of four (with preschool children), and we had a great time! The locals were very unique and kind, making it easy to enjoy ourselves!

現地ではほぼ英語なのでツアーコンダクターの話しは分かりませんが最初の説明は日本語のビデオがあるので大丈夫でした。
日本では出来ないような体験なので是非おすすめです！家族4人（子供は未就学児）でしたがとても楽しめました！現地の人はとてもユニーク親切で安心して楽しめます！
