I have been to a Luau, Sunset Dinner Cruise, Dinner Show.. quite possibly all over O'ahu! This is by far, the best activity I have ever done. The crew was very friendly and informative..Most of them are interns so they actually do their job for free!

Once we board the Barefoot 1 which is actually a pretty small catamaran but don't let this discourage you because once your on your way to the submerged sandbar..everything is perfect! Imaginine drinking a nice cold refreshment and for you alcoholic drinkers, a nice beer, out in the middle of Kaneohe Bay. Sitting on the Sandbar with the nice breezy tradewinds while taking in all the beautiful views!! TALK ABOUT RELAXATION!!

We participated as a family. Since our children are small, we planned to skip snorkeling from the beginning, but we were very satisfied.

During the morning session, the water level was so high that the children couldn't reach it on their own, but it was still a very strange experience to be standing in the middle of the ocean.

Unfortunately, the weather wasn't very good, but as the guide explained, we were amazed by the change in the color of the sea from cloudy to sunny.

Also, seeing many sea turtles popping their heads up was a sight we had never seen before, and the kids were thrilled.

Although there wasn't a BBQ during the morning session, the meal provided was more than enough, and we were very satisfied.

The staff also made a great impression by working hard to ensure that participants had a good time.

Overall, we have no complaints.

Encountering sea turtles was a bit mysterious. As I quietly watched the surface of the sea, I saw turtles lifting their heads here and there. They were incredibly cute.

However, it was a little disappointing that, as I had known from the start, it was during a time when the tide was not completely out, so I couldn't see the sandbar like in the photos. Also, when I went snorkeling to the outer side of the reef, it seemed like there were fewer fish than I expected.

But the staff were very enjoyable and lively, which made for a satisfying experience.

The dreamlike sandbar was amazing. Three years ago, I participated in a tour filled with activities in Kaneohe Bay. I heard there was a sandbar very close by, but I couldn't imagine it at all. When I actually went there, I realized it was very close to the previous location. I understood that the sandbar is right in the middle of the ocean.

The highlight of such tours is the personality of the staff. Everyone was so natural, blending into the Hawaiian atmosphere, which made it really enjoyable and allowed me to participate in a relaxed manner.

It was the most difficult activity to book in Hawaii. There are several sandbar plans offered by multiple companies, so I recommend making reservations early. At the sandbar, I enjoyed taking photos and snorkeling, but the plan I chose felt a bit short (about 30 minutes, I think), and the kids seemed to want to play a little longer.

I thought it would be good to plan accordingly, enjoying marine sports like snorkeling at Hanauma Bay and participating at the sandbar mainly for taking photos at this uniquely beautiful spot. The staff were friendly, and there were Japanese speakers, so I felt completely at ease without any language barriers.

It required careful consideration on how to spend the limited days in Hawaii, whether to enjoy the beautiful scenery or prioritize the kids' fun. I felt I could have planned a bit better. However, I think I was able to take many great photos. I say "think" because I used a film camera instead of a digital one. At the sandbar, I recommend using a disposable waterproof camera instead of a digital one, as there's no worry about it getting submerged.

We participated as a family of four, and the sandbar was beautifully exposed, making it absolutely stunning. There weren't many fish while snorkeling, but we were able to spot about ten sea turtles from the boat, which made the kids very happy. On the way back, it was a bit cold due to the strong wind, but I definitely want to go back to that beautiful paradise of a sea again.

I attended this snorkeling activity with my boyfriend (he had done it before and wanted to go again). Our tour guide on the bus was hysterical. So much fun and information was provided by him. I liked that he remained part of the experience by coming on the boat with us. The staffing was incredible as well. Tons of fun and very helpful. I was glad that they provided lunch as well. Quick and easy burgers, some fruit, sodas, etc. And of course, the snorkeling was beautiful! I would recommend it to anyone, of any age. If you can't swim, or haven't snorkeled, don't worry! They provide easy instructions to learn how to snorkel quickly, and they have both noodles and lifevests if you can't swim! You may even luck out and sight some sea turtles on your way to the reef!!! If you're considering this activity, go for it! You'll love it!

We were blessed with the best weather, and it was said that the sandbar was quite shallow that day, which was lucky. We participated via Alan, and Captain Bruce took us to the best spot in the heavenly sea where we could swim with sea turtles. When we went, the white sandy beach didn't appear (＞＜) It was about knee-deep... But standing in the middle of the sea felt quite strange.

I participated on the morning of July 14th. A stunning sandbar appeared in the midst of a deep blue sky, pure white clouds, and the ever-changing blue ocean! It was a beautiful scene unlike anything I had ever seen before, making me question whether it was a dream or reality. It was a miraculous landscape created over many years. I was thrilled to see the honu (sea turtles) up close and had an amazing time. The malasadas were also very delicious.

I initially booked this event for my ten- and seven-year-old grandkids. However, it turned out to be a terrific day for all three generations. The friendly crew of the Barefoot I made us feel welcome from the time we arrived at the dock. It was a very windy day, but, the catamaran was steady. The energetic, enthusiastic and entertaining crew covered the basics of snorkeling and equipment during our ten-minute cruise to the submerged sandbar in the middle of beautiful Kaneohe Bay. The sandbar stop was the perfect opportunity for first time snorkelers to practice in a comfortable environment and the waist-deep volleyball was a real hoot! The crew grilled our burgers and served lunch at the sandbar. Much to our surprise and delight our cruise director, Jenner, serenaded us with voice and guitar while we ate. During the ten minute sail to the snorkel site we saw a dozen or so green sea turtles. The beautiful coral reef was in a very isolated area in crystal clear waters. The area was teem

We participated as a family of four. Since it was the morning session, as soon as we set sail, we were served malasadas. We checked the tide schedule in advance, so we were able to land perfectly on the sandbar. The sandbar has no shade, so be sure not to forget sunscreen. After that, we enjoyed snorkeling. We were told there were sea turtles, but since they weren't near me, I couldn't encounter them. However, I was able to see them while on the boat. Although the weather was unfortunately rainy and windy in the morning, the breathtaking scenery of the sandbar felt like something out of this world (laughs). When the sun occasionally peeked through, it was just like being in a bath salt paradise!!!

And, believe it or not, you can smoke on the sandbar!!!! Just make sure not to litter~~!

The staff were all very friendly, and there was a nice mix of Japanese and foreign guests, creating a warm atmosphere. The cheeseburger for lunch was truly delicious, and even I, who usually gets seasick (though I did take some motion sickness medication), was fine. They also provide fins for snorkeling, so you can dive as much as you want!!!!

Before I knew it, it was already time to wrap up.

Moreover, the relaxed vibe of "feel free to join if you want~ or take a break if you need~" was fantastic. Plus, since I’m currently doing hula in Japan and the song was "KANEOHE," it really boosted my mood. I highly recommend it.

たまに太陽が差すと、まんまバスクリンの世界！！！

スタッフはみんな親切な方ばっかりで、日本人と外国の方半々くらいでしたが和気あいあいとしてました。
お昼のチーズバーガーは、本当においしかったし、船酔いしやすい私も大丈夫でしたし(一応酔い止めは飲みましたが)シュノーケルはフィンも貸出してくれるので、素潜りしたい放題！！！！
あっという間に終わりの時間になってしまいました。

しかも、いきたかったらどうぞ~やすむならどうぞ~的なゆるい空気は、最高でした。
しかも、いま日本でフラをしていて曲がKANEOHEだったのでなおさら気分が盛り上がりました。

I participated in the morning session of the honeymoon tour. The staff were very friendly, and there was a sisterly vibe with someone who could speak Japanese!

First, we went sea turtle watching, and so many honu showed up, plus a manta ray made an appearance! I was so moved to capture it all on camera.

At the sandbar, unfortunately, we couldn't fully enjoy the sandy beach, but the water was shallow enough to my ankles, and I couldn't help but have fun! We took about 3-4 photos, and they helped create some great shots!

Compared to similar tours, the snorkeling here didn't require wearing life jackets, which made it feel very free and enjoyable. The breakfast sandwiches were delicious too! This was definitely a tour I would love to join again! Thank you very much! (*´ω｀*)

I participated in the morning tour. I was amazed by the solitary, pure white sandbar in the middle of the beautiful sea. It was surprisingly easy to see the sandbar so clearly. However, walking on it was a bit painful... But the stunning scenery was mesmerizing.

I also got to see sea turtles, which was a fantastic experience.

The staff were really great, and I had a lot of fun.

I highly recommend it!!

The weather was great, the beautiful sea was visible, and I was able to swim, so it was GOOD. The staff also helped create a fun atmosphere. The BBQ was delicious.

For the program that involves walking down to the beach, please provide marine shoes. A friend cut their foot. (After that, we couldn't enjoy free sightseeing or sports.) I believe entering the sea barefoot is unsafe. I participated with marine shoes (I was the only one).

During snorkeling, there were no fins available for rent. Without fins, it's difficult to move as desired, so it wasn't enjoyable. Also, since everyone was wearing life jackets, we couldn't dive and were just floating.

If these two points could be improved, I would like to participate again next time. Unfortunately, I didn't see any sea turtles.

但し　次回参加するとしたら、次の改善をお願いします。
歩いて、ビーチに下りるプログラムでは、マリンシューズの用意をお願いします。友人が足を切りました。（以降自由な観光、スポーツが出来ませんでした）基本的に素足で海に入ることは、安全上ＮＧと考えています。自分はマリンシューズを持って参加しました。（唯一私のみ）
スノーケリングの時、足ひれの貸し出しがありませんでした。足ひれがないと、思うように進みませんので楽しめません。且全員ライフジャケット着用なので、もぐりが出来なく、ただ浮かんでいる状態です。
2点改善していただければ、次回も参加したいと思います。
海がめは、残念ながら見れませんでした。
追伸　参加されている方は、皆さんとても良い感じの方でした。ありがとうございました。

It was a very fulfilling experience! The staff were incredibly kind, cheerful, and attentive. The BBQ was delicious, and seeing the sea turtles made it the best day ever! I was also glad to finally try Leonard's malasadas. My husband, who joined me, had a great time and is already excited to participate in this tour again when we go to Hawaii next time! The only downside was that we didn't see many fish while snorkeling, but they taught us how to snorkel carefully, so I felt safe diving in! Thank you for everything!

I've been to Hawaii many times, but this was my first visit to this particular place. As I had heard, it was truly wonderful.

(Good points)

4. Three rays approached the boat asking for food. It was my first time seeing rays up close, and I was thrilled.

(Not-so-good points)
1. The public restroom at the port was a bit... even men would want to hold it in. Since there are no other options, the likelihood of needing to use it is high, so I wonder if something can be done about that.

2. The weather on the day I visited wasn't great, and the sky was quite cloudy. As a result, the sea was also cloudy (reflecting the sky), which diminished the excitement. During snorkeling, it was disappointing that visibility wasn't very good.

1.港の公衆トイレがちょっと・・・で、男でさえ我慢したくなる程でした。他にないため利用する機会確率が高いのでこれはどうにかならないものかと。

2.行った日の天気があまり良くなくて空は曇りがちでした。そのため海も（空を映すので）曇っていて、感激が半減という感じでした。スノーケリングの時もあまり深いところまで見えにくく残念でした。天候はどうにもならないですが、晴れた時との違いがとても大きいと感じました。

3.同じく、天気がいまいちだったので水から上がった時、特に女性陣が震えていました。できるだけバスタオルか風よけ上着等を準備しておいた方が良いです。

4.オーストラリアのグレートバリアリーフと比べる方はいないかと思いますが、それと比べたら魚はそんなに多くいませんでした（私の時）。なので、それを知っている人はそんな期待はしないように・・・。

5.白い砂といっても微妙に小石はあるので完全な砂ではないですよ~。

良くなかったところだけつまみ読みした方は行く気を失せてしまうかもしれませんが、これは”あえて言うなら・・・”というレベルです。私は行って良かったと思っています。念のため。

The sandbar and the ocean were truly beautiful. I was moved to see the colors of the ocean change for the first time. I also got to see many honu (turtles), and they were adorable. The water level at the sandbar was up to my waist (and the water temperature was cold), so walking was a bit challenging, but it's not every day you get to walk in such a beautiful ocean, so I enjoyed it.
