Great your! An added surprise and probably the highlight of the tour for me, we saw so many dolphins and they got up close and personal with us! We also managed to spot a few whales and a baby! Wren and Ryder were both fantastic also. Definitely worth the price!

The stops at Waimea Canyon offered amazing panoramic views, and the nature walk in Kokee State Park allowed us to enjoy the scenery and learn about native plants.

Doug and Josh are very detailed about all aspects which puts all at ease and Doug’s knowledge and way of speaking is engaging and adds to the experience!

Doug was an absolutely amazing guide! I ended up being the only person who could make it to the tour due to traffic for the others, and Doug made sure to make me feel both comfortable and prepared for the experience. It was my first time doing anything other than some light snorkeling and he did a wonderful job briefing me and making sure I was all set and knew what to do and expect. He was also very friendly and welcoming and by the end we knew a fair amount about each other which almost made it feel like diving with a knowledgeable buddy.

Once we got in the water I was blown away by the amount and variety of fish instantly visible, and the whole tour seemed to have something new and interesting to see every time I turned around. Doug did a great job of pointing things out and getting tons of amazing pictures. Being the only one to make it to the tour that day worked in my favor as we were able to stay out longer and Doug took the opportunity to show me as much as he could.

This was an absolutely amazing experience, and the highlight of an already great trip! I highly recommend it to anyone, whether you're an experienced diver or a complete novice like me!

Pilot Asa was fluent in Japanese and provided explanations in both English and Japanese, which was very helpful! Japanese was definitely easier to understand, allowing for a deeper comprehension. The piloting was careful, and they made an effort to minimize turbulence. I didn't get motion sickness, but my daughters in the back seat felt a bit nauseous and said they should have taken motion sickness medication. On the day of the flight, the visibility was excellent, and we were able to see places that are usually obscured by clouds, which I think was lucky.

やはり日本語の方がわかりやすいので、より理解が深まりました。
操縦も丁寧で、なるべく揺れないよう気を遣って下さいました。
私は酔わなかったのですが、後部座席の娘達は少し酔ってしまったので、酔い止めを飲んでおけば良かったと言っていました。
当日は視界良好で、いつもは雲がかかっていて見えない事が多い所も見えてますよ、教えて下さり、ラッキーだったと思います。

I heard that a Black pilot has also been to Japan and visited some niche tourist spots there. I sincerely apologize if this is perceived as racial discrimination, but I was pleasantly surprised to hear a Black person speaking Japanese honorifics so smoothly. The piloting was also careful, and I felt safe during the flight. If you are visiting Kauai, I highly recommend this tour.

黒人のパイロットさんで日本に来たこともあるそうで、日本でも玄人好みの観光地にいらっしゃったらそうです。
人種差別と捉えられたら誠に申し訳ないのですが、黒人の方が日本の丁寧語をスムーズに話していらっしゃることに良い意味で驚きました。
操縦も丁寧で安心して乗っていることができました。
カウアイ島にいらっしゃる際は、このツアーはおおすすめです。

I was worried because I couldn't speak much English, but thanks to the help of the guide and the people around me, it turned out to be a great experience! The scenery was beautiful, and I was able to visit the famous spots on Kauai Island in just one day, which was wonderful! I was a little disappointed that we couldn't go to the Kalalau Lookout.

Went with my 12-year-old granddaughter, so they had a young and an old person to deal with. It was an amazing experience. My granddaughter was a fish!

Better instructions needed for pickup at the Point at Poipu. Pickup is at the entrance to the property. Buses do not enter the property. Current instructions state pickup is out front. Of the main entrance to the building??

The whales put on a show, and we left as happy travelers that day! :)

Waimea Canyon was clearly visible from the viewpoint.

The tour bus was comfortable, and the guide made the talk enjoyable by using videos and sound effects.

However, if I had to point out one area for improvement, it would be the communication regarding the pickup time on the morning of the tour. It was 30 minutes later than the scheduled time, which made me worried. I also tried to contact them on the landline, but I couldn't get through.

観光用のバスは快適でガイドさんもビデオや効果音を使ったりして トークも楽しかったです。

ただ一つ改善点があるとすれば当日朝のお迎えの時間連絡です。連絡時間よりも30分遅くなったため 心配していました。
こちらも固定電話に連絡しましたが通じなかったです。

Although the swell was big the couple days before, the snuba tour was great. We saw lots of fish, invertebrates and saw some pretty corals. Glad I bought a case for my phone so I could capture everything we saw. This was our son’s first exposure to snuba and he loved it. Now wants to get scuba certified. Doug and Josh were great guides! Would definitely do it again!

The tour was a great way to see the southern part of the island and learn a lot of history about the island. Our guide, Rosario, was great. He was knowledgeable, friendly and answered all our questions. I would definitely recommend this tour.

If you have never done snuba you are doing to love it! The tour guides were very informative and made you feel comfortable and safe. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is thinking about snorkeling.

This time, I visited an island other than Oahu for the first time. Although it was a tour that didn't stop at the coast or beaches, I was able to visit various sightseeing spots and once again experienced the richness of Hawaii's nature. The valley is breathtaking, so I definitely want you to see it. Along the way, my flight to Honolulu was canceled, and due to the arrangements for the replacement flight, I couldn't visit the last sightseeing spot. Despite the tight schedule, the guide and local staff were very accommodating, and I was able to board the plane safely. I can only express my gratitude.

今回は初めてオアフ島以外の島に来てみました。
海岸やビーチには立ち寄らないツアーでしたが、いろいろな観光スポットに行けて、改めてハワイの自然の豊かさに触れました。
渓谷は絶景ですので、ぜひ見てもらいたいです。
途中、ホノルル行きの飛行機がキャンセルになり、代わりの飛行機の都合で最後の見学場所は見れませんでした。
時間もギリギリの中、ガイドさんと現地スタッフの対応がとてもよく、無事飛行機に乗れました。
ただただ、感謝しかありません。

Did a day trip from Oahu to Kauai. So included a couple flights, made for a long day but interesting.

Rosario (driver/leader) was quite knowledgeable, talked about his favourite things and locals, had suggestions for what to eat for lunch at the chicken in a barrel.

Very little hiking. I used this more as a rest day, traveling by bus was easy and Rosario was good with time allocations at each stop.

Stopped at the local blowhole, coffee makers, hanapepe,and various points up the canyon and the lodge at the top.

Would recommend bringing own water, not many places to get, so money for a beer for lunch, and snacks for at the lodge.

This was the first time my family joined me trying SNUBA. Doug was the best instructor and guide ever, very patient with beginners. If you have ever considered trying it, this is the place to try. Being able to see the fish and coral up close is amazing. Thank you Doug and Josh for a highlight of our trip.

We were not disappointed, thank you whales for splashing around and having fun on the water with us!!

Not a fan of helicopter, so a small little plane to explore the island was a great choice!

Kevin picked us up at our hotel on time and spent the day showing us the west and south sides of Kauai. He gave us lessons in pronouncing Hawaiian words, the geology of Kauai, and history of Kauai, while driving from viewpoint to viewpoint. He was sensitive to what we were interested in and what types of food we wanted for lunch. We were impressed that he understood the weather patterns, kept a constant watch on the clouds, and was able to get us to the Waimea Canyon and Na Pali coast viewpoints at times when we could see the views.

We had a most enjoyable day and would highly recommend tour guide Kevin and The Ultimate Kauai Private Island Tour - South and West tour.

My wife and I had taken guided tours before mainly in the Carribean. On those tours, we stopped for various activities: touring a ruin, lunch on the beach, and a hike through a rainforest. Our guide, Kevin, did an excellent job trying to show us everything (and finding restrooms). The fault was not in the guide but in the attempted scope of the tour. It was six hours of driving and stopping for photos and then more driving. For instance, there were two waterfalls on the tour: One (twin falls) in the great distance and the other along the roadside (blink and you would miss it). It would be better if we could be taken to the trailhead and allowed to hike close to the falls. Or maybe with some preplanning, we could have swum at one of the beaches we stopped at. Although my wife and I are in our 60s and 70s, we are both very active. It was an introduction to the Island but we were exhausted at the end of the six hours.

Nothing beats these views! How we wish we could see them always!

Susan was fabulous. She was so knowledgeable about the island and great with our kids (ages 5 and 7). She told us history of the island and suggestions on things to do during our stay. When our kids were getting tired and a bit cranky, she went out and got them water and popsicles. This tour was the highlight of our trip!

We enjoyed the tour overall but wish we had more time and one or two more stops around the Waimea Canyon. The tour takes in a few different spots across Kauai, but the real highlight is the Canyon. So it's a shame to only get a few different opportunities to stop and take photos. The tour picked us up and dropped us off promptly, and our guide Rosario told us a bit about the island and it's history, which we liked. The lunch provided was better than we expected. If we had the chance again, we would drive to the Waimea Canyon itself to explore it independently. If we had to take a tour again, we would consider this one as we felt overall it was good, if not perfect.

We had Mark as a pilot and he was awesome! Very personable, informative, and had a great sense of humor. We got to see the whole island except for one canyon due to cloud cover. Would love to do it again!

We thoroughly enjoyed this sightseeing tour, with driver & guide, Kaleo. He was helpful, informative and hilarious! Stories, quips and jokes all day long. We even learned how to pronounce "humuhumunukunukuapua`a"! We saw some highlights of the beautiful island of Kaua`i including the spouting horn blow hole and we were lucky enough to get a clear view of the waimea canyon, before the clouds rolled in! We had a tasty lunch at chicken in a barrell and sampled delicious coffee at the Kaua`i coffee plantation. The trail at the state park is very short and the order of the stops is different to that listed on the veltra site, but regardless we would 100% recommend this tour.

This was a great tour and glad I chose the small airplane ride versus helicopter. Our tour guide was very informative and took note that most of us loved the waterfalls so it appeared he concentrated on this piece with extra attention. There was 6 of us in the group which was the entire plane. Two small children. Our 6 year old was extremely excited and loved the tour. She did get a bit warm in the plane towards the end. Glad we booked this tour!!!

Rosario was a wonderful tour Guide. friendly and Professional. the van was clean and the windows were polished. He took us to some of the most beautiful places on Earth. at the top of the canyon he had a wonderful lunch set up. He talked with each person and got some information about their origins and back - ground. the photo stops were unbelievable and he made everybody feel special and their was not one question he did not answer in detail! He gave great prospective, from a locals point of view ton every topic. I highly recommend Rosario (for your next ohau - kauai - tour) Five stars all the way!

My family had our first try with snuba and loved it !! Our guides showed us turtles and even a small octopus!! We would do this again.
