The overall trip was good. The driver was on time to pick us up and very nice and accommodating. We started with the early hiking at the diamond head hike which is great because it gets quite hot after 9am at the top and by the time we got back, there was a large crowd waiting to get the tickets to start the hike. The view at the top of the crater was very nice. You can see all the high rise buildings in the waikiki area. It does take about 45min one way with 0.8 miles to climb up to the top. You will climb through a small tunnel which was cool.

Then he drove us around the island and we stopped at a few different beaches. We saw the area with very expensive houses which was very interesting. We also stopped to see the koko trail and the blowhole. We then stopped at a few additional places including the place where they sell macadamia nuts. That was a very nice place where we get free coffee and can taste all different kinds of macadamia nuts before we decide to buy them. We then stopped at the food truck place for lunch and the food was not that good. The garlic shrimp has too much garlic and the butter and lemon shrimp was too blend. What is worse is there was a lot of flies, so we have to constantly worry about the flies going to our food! The kids had a great time chasing the the chickens though.

We then stopped at another fruit stand and the sunset beach. We were supposed to stop at another beach but we decided to skip as there were too many stops along the way and mostly are shops for tourists. The last stop was the Dole plantation which was a big disappointment. I did not even get a chance to see even one pineapple! The place was so crowded with fancy stores selling tourist merchandises and the ice cream was ok. We were not able to get on the train to see the pineapple fields as the tickets were sold out. The maze was ok, but no pineapple there. I personally do not recommend going to dole plantation.

- Recommendation: Schedule the tour Wednesday to Sunday if you'd like to see Hanauma Bay. Hanauma Bay is closed Mondays and Tuesdays due to ongoing preservation efforts. We didn't mind at all. Our guide added more time to the other tour spots

We had a great time on the tour with John and would highly recommend this experience for those looking to explore the island. He was very knowledgeable and funny and adjusted the stops based on the interests of the group. There were many stops but there’s a great variety of things to see and you are given the perfect amount of time at each one! Thank you John :)

This was by far the best experience I had during my trip to Hawaii. Didn’t want it to be over! I highly recommend our guide was nice! The trail was also nice with beautiful views of the beach.

Grant, Garrett, and Hunter were the best guides! This is a must for people who love making memories. Definitely for people who are adrenaline junkies as well. Absolutely loved it and thanks to CLIMB works for the wonderful memories!!

Overall, this was a great tour for a first time visitor to Oahu. We liked the variety of sights and experiences. Our guide was also very knowledgeable and funny. The tour was well paced and we didn't feel like we needed any extra time at any of the spots. The complimentary water bottle and malasada were a nice touch!

We had the best time on this tour. Our driver, Lola had a wealth of information to provide during the tour. Her fun personality made the trip worth while. There were so many Beautiful views to see. We were given poi donuts in the morning. I was nervous to try it, but let me tell you... they were so good! This is a must do experience and you will be lucky if Lola is your tour guide!

What a great way to do something different on Oahu.
Horseback riding is also available, but we chose the UTV tour of this ranch, as we are UTV people.
Got to explore this 1000 acre ranch near the North Shore.
Picked fresh fruit, fed cows, had a nice brown bag lunch on top of the hill, with outstanding views below of the ranch, to the ocean.
Go slow, or rip through the ranch, you choose.
Super fun way to do non-beach activities and absolutely loved it!
Would visit again.

Our tour was amazing, perfect amount of stops and perfect amount of time spent at each stop. Our tour guide Lola was awesome. She got us yummy donuts to start the tour off and she was super knowledgeable about everything throughout the tour. Could not have asked for a better experience, and would definitely recommend to anyone that is looking to site see or get to experience Hawaii.

Overall the experience was amazing and very enjoyable. The tour guide named Lola was very passionate about what she was talking about and it was easy to tell that she enjoys her job. She tries to make the extra effort to make the experience that much more fun, knowledgeable, and enjoyable. All of the stops were very enjoyable and the experience is unforgettable.

The tour started with a prompt and convenient pickup from our hotel by our driver and guide, Jonah. It was nice that we stopped for malasadas from a Leonard’s bakery truck since we had such an early breakfast. As we made it out of the city our guide gave us local facts and insights about the different neighborhoods we passed through.
It was interesting to learn about an abandoned tramway used by the military in WW II that is now a hike trail near the Koko Head Crater. There were plenty of photo-ops at the Makapuu and Halona blowhole lookout and the Ka Iwi Scenic shoreline.
Although we ran into some traffic due to road construction, we still made it on schedule for the Macadamia Nut farm stop for shopping and the KuaLoa Park for more photos. Lunch at the Kahuku Sugar Mill was one of the trip’s highlights where we even got to chat with some local folks. We chose Da Bald guy food truck-- the fried ahi tuna and garlic shrimp plate combo was the best!
Next, we watched surfers catch waves and spotted turtles near Haleiwa shores. We then enjoyed driving through a stretch of farmland leading to the last of the trip stop which was the Dole Plantation.
I was happy to have chosen this “smaller group-size tour” in a smaller but comfortable van rather than being in a bus tour with fifty or more people. Our guide was personable…He offered to take our photos, gave us bottled water, and had a small stool ready for petite folks like us. We were even impressed by his knowledge of all Hawaii-Five-O and CSI Hawaii trivia! Overall, we got a grasp of life in the North shore. I would recommend this tour if you like a relaxed pace tour or for first time visitors.

This was definitely worth the experience. Lola is a wealth of knowledge and very entertaining. Her knowledge of the island history history is great. I highly recommend taking this tour. You won't be disappointed!!

We had the absolute best time on our tour. Guides were super fun and really knowledgeable about hawaii, the history, local fun facts and recommendations, an all around amazing experience. Would highly recommend this to anyone and would love to even go again our next time I’m Oahu!

This luau is an absolute MUST! Everyone was so welcoming and put on the best show! You have a chance to learn about Hawaiian culture and the comedy intertwined into the performances kept us rolling with laughter. The whole family helps with the performance and you can absolutely tell that they love what they do. It was the most fun that we had here in Hawaii! The food was delicious, as well! Highly recommend!

This was an amazing tour! Danny, our driver was very knowledgeable, not only with the land but the history of the island! The tour seems long, but it flies by!! I wish it was longer! Does not feel like a 9 hour tour at all! The bus was extremely comfortable and Danny even gave us water and Hawaiian donuts. I highly recommend this tour!

Great experience to learn alot of the past culture of Hawaii and the neighboring islands

Jonah picked us up promptly at 8 and let us finished our breakfast that we picked up from the ABC store. We then went to pick up the other party and then followed the itinerary. He was very conversational and knew a lot about the island and all the best places to eat. He was a very honest person and shared personal stories about him and his family. We learned a lot about Hawaii and the north shore and was able to spot some crabs and sea turtles! He was a very safe driver and was very humorous. Definitely recommend as a first day experience on the island!

we had so much fun and the view was so great on the tour. ATV’s were very easy and fun to drive, tour guide made everything easy and gave lot of fun info. We would definitely recommend it to anyone!

A wonderful experience. The beach was beautiful and the trail guides were experienced I highly recommend this. For any level rider horses were easy enough for a child. I would recommend early morning and leaving an hour before due to traffic.

This was a great way to celebrate my Birthday!! Really great way to spend any morning on Hawaii! The view and the fun was amazing! We would HIGHLY recommend. Our guides were some of the best of the best. These three elevated the experience to the very top! I would recommend this activity to everyone!

The whole experience was just amazing! My son and I had pretty much a private tour. Just the two of us and our guide! Our guide went way above and beyond telling us history of Hawaii and just making our experience super special. Our favorite was how relaxing and peaceful kayaking though the river was. And seeing the sea turtle was breath taking! Kayaking on the ocean was so beautiful! Two total different experience in one adventure! Can't wait to come back and do it again!

Jonah was one of the most accommodating tour guide hosts we have had. He was on time picking us up, he added additional stops for us and tried to point out every point of info he could find. He is very sincere and proud of being a family of Hawaii. We enjoyed the smaller vehicle which was clean. He offered hand sanitizer, water and a step to get into his vehicle. He allowed eating Hawaiian donuts. Told us not to worry about the sand. Said if you didn’t have sand on your feet he didn’t do his job. He provided local insight to the stops and along the way. I would give this tour with Jonah a must do for anyone visiting Oahu. The pace was relaxed and flexible. The sights will be forever lasting. Jonah provided information for future sightseeing and tips for travel. The cost of the trip was a value for that was seen and experienced. It exceeded our expectations. I typically don’t write reviews but this trip and Jonah made it a must.

They did a great job! They were organized, and the pilot was wonderful. Of course the awesome scenery and experience of gliding along the mountain ridge and seeing whales in the distance was a once in a lifetime experience.

Loved seeing Diamond Head and doing the hike to the top! Got to the top to see the sunrise, just beautiful! Our tour guy was amazing and heard us talk about coffee, so he took us to get some local much needed coffee:)
Got to see some beaches and the blowhole was just a gorgeous, don't want to miss sight! We ate at a foods truck park which was interesting. We ate at Mike's, which was soo good! Guy Ferrari approved!!!
We took our children, 7 and 5, so by the time we got to Dole plantation they just wanted Dole Whip ice cream. So, the line was long and moved somewhat fast but we didn't have time to do the train ride and learn about the plantation. But, was all around great to see everything and worth it!!

As soon as we came to the POLYNESIAN, we felt like we were in hawaii. This place is worth every penny. Would go back again in a heart beat.

So I had the privilege of taking all my family to a trip to Hawaii but because getting a rental car can be a pain an expensive I decide to splurge and just book tours that included transportation…. Who wants to drive around during a vacation… it was all out first time to Hawaii so now that I know all the good spots I can’t wait to go back and explore on my own… we did the Royal star circle tour and it was worth it… it had a/c, a bathroom, opportunities for snack time and a hell of a spot for amazing local lunch options… we got to see up close and some spots actually explore the main hot spots of this amazing island… it’s so green and has a bit of the city flair but the locations that you get to see on this tour really show you the real Hawaii… I had a driver by the name of kalani! He was so funny and attentive to the littles ones in my group… the picture don’t do the trip justice… so if your looking for easy and a lot to check off in one day then this trip is for you… little warning… the day of the week determines on how busy some of the tourist location will be … I went on a Sunday and most places were packed! Another tip is sit on the passenger side of the bus it makes for great water views!

This was our first activity in Hawaii and I am so happy it was. Cousin G was knowledgeable, fun and funny! Great tour and highly recommend!

I didn’t know what to expect but I was very impressed with the tour and our tour guide. The Lau was great but the show Breath of Life blew us away. High recommended.

My overall impression of the trip was great. I was traveling with my family including young children. I think the time at each stop wasn't enough when with kids. It's always a delay with them but if your going just adults I feel like the time is perfect. So many different stops an beautiful mountains an ocean views. Our tour guide kalani was awesome. Very family friendly an communicative with the kids also very caring. Teddys Burger place was delicious. Sadly we didn't get enough time to ride the train at the dole plantation but the dole whip was delicious.
