I was worried that I might not see any natural creatures, but I was able to see dolphins. I didn't get to swim with them, but I did catch a glimpse of their backs swimming in the distance and saw one for a moment as it swam along the seabed. The sea turtles were relaxed, so I was satisfied to be able to take some photos. The guide seemed to have some mood swings.

Unfortunately, I couldn't see any whales. The wind was strong, and it was chilly being outside for a long time. Since I couldn't see any whales, they offered a re-boarding ticket at the end, but I had to decline as I didn't have the time to board again. The meal was average. The ship was nice, and there weren't too many people, so that was a positive aspect.

About seven years ago, I participated in Dolphin University and liked it so much that I wanted to join again for this honeymoon, so I signed up. As expected... Dolphin University is the best!! As soon as we boarded, we were told, "There are dolphins!" We hurriedly prepared, and within 10 minutes of boarding, we met the dolphins!! That day, we got to try it twice, and my husband, who was visiting Hawaii for the first time, was super excited! Because we met the dolphins so quickly, we had plenty of time for snorkeling, and we were able to swim with a mother and baby sea turtle, which we couldn't see last time. We also got to experience surfing on a board together and played on the slide from the boat... it was a very satisfying half-day tour!! Additionally, there were snacks and juice on the boat, and on the way back, they provided cheeseburgers and juice♡ What I felt again this time, just like last time, is that not only can you swim with the dolphins, but the fun stories from all the staff and their enjoyment are what make the Dolphin University tour so great♡ I'm really glad I participated in Dolphin University!! 　7年ほど前にイルカ大学に参加させてもらい大変気に入ったため、今回のハネムーンでも是非参加したいと思い申込みました。やはり…イルカ大学は最高です!!乗船した途端「イルカ先生がいますよ」との事。急いで準備し、乗船10分でイルカに会えました!!その日は合計2度トライさせて頂き、ハワイが初めての旦那様も大興奮でした!イルカに早く会えたことからシュノーケリングの時間もたっぷりあり、前回は会えなかったウミガメの親子とも泳ぐことができました。サーフボードも2人で経験させてもらい、船からの滑り台で遊んで…と大満足の半日ﾂｱｰでした!!また、船の上でスナック菓子とジュース、帰りのバスではチーズバーガーとジュースの用意がありました♡今回改めて感じたことは、前回と同様に、イルカと一緒に泳げるだけでなく、スタッフ皆さんの楽しいお話やとっても楽しんでいる姿がイルカ大学のﾂｱｰの良さなんだということです♡イルカ大学に参加して本当に良かったです!!本当にありがとうございました!!

This was my first time participating! I heard that there’s almost a 100% chance of encountering dolphins, but it seemed like we struggled quite a bit this time and had a hard time finding them. Normally, we would have given up, but the instructor's passionate commitment to finding them helped us finally meet the dolphins. Even during the time we couldn’t see any dolphins, there was a lot of thoughtfulness, and it was really enjoyable! I’m not very good at swimming, but I felt quite reassured because they swam with me! The people I shared the experience with were also very cooperative, making it a wonderful memory. If I ever go to Hawaii again, I definitely want to do this!

ほぼ、１００%に近い確率でイルカに出会えるということでしたが今回はかなりの苦戦だったようで中々出会えず。
本来であれば諦めるべきところだったんですがインストラクターの方の熱い気持ちで必死に探してくれ結果イルカに出会えることができました。
イルカに会えない時間も凄く気配りがありとても楽しかった！

【Did I get to see dolphins?】
This was a bit disappointing!
I couldn't get close enough to swim with them.
It was more like a distance suitable for a cruising tour.
But since they are wild animals and there are laws, it can't be helped. The crew did their best, so I'll definitely try again!


【For those who will participate in the future】
In winter,
you should definitely bring Uniqlo's Ultra Light Down and disposable raincoats if you have them! (A shammy is super useful if you have one.)

Basically, everything gets wet because you put it on over a wet wetsuit. I found the shammy I brought to be incredibly useful! Once the bath towel gets wet, it's useless, so I wiped off as much water as possible with the shammy, then put on the bath towel, wore the 100 yen raincoat to block the wind and moisture, and then put on the Ultra Light Down, which was just right.

Out of 40 people, only 4.5 managed to swim happily without getting seasick until the end.
The rest were all throwing up, and only 4.5 people participated in all three dives.

Those with weak vestibular systems who can't swim will definitely get seasick since they can only float.

I personally have a weak vestibular system, but since I was constantly swimming, I wasn't affected by the swaying, so I managed to get through it.

This is an activity for those who are confident in their physical strength!

２月頭には 寒すぎる。
寒いのはクルーのせいではないが、

一緒に泳ぐほど近くにいけなかった。
クルージングのツアーでも良いくらいの距離。
でも、自然の生き物だし 法律もあるからしょうがない。 クルーもみんな頑張ってくれたからまたリベンジするね！

【これから参加する方へ】
冬であれば
・ユニクロの ウルトラライトダウンと使い捨てのカッパ、あれば絶対持っていくべき！ (セームがあれば超使える)

基本的に濡れたウエットスーツの上に羽織るので全て濡れます。 水泳で使うセームを持っていったらめちゃくちゃ重宝しました！！ バスタオルは濡れたら終わりなのでセームで水気をできるだけ拭き取ってから バスタオルをはおり、100均のカッパをはおり風と水気を遮ってから その上にウルトラライトダウンを着たのでちょうど良かった。


40人中、酔わないで最後まで元気に泳げたのは4.5人。
あとはみんな 吐いてたし、3回のダイブを全部参加したのはたった4.5人でした。

三半規管が弱くて 水泳ができない人は 浮いているしかないので 確実に酔います。

私自身は 三半規管は弱いですが 常に泳いでいたので揺れに左右されなかったのでクリアできました。


体力に自信のある人向けのアクティビティです！

This time, I chose not to have breakfast, but the food looked delicious, and I was able to add it for $13 per person.

We started with a photo shoot, then boarding, followed by a buffet-style meal, and finally, we set sail. Within about an hour and a half, we encountered multiple whales. However, it seems that seeing whales breach is quite rare. Even so, just being able to see their dorsal fins and flippers up close was exciting! If you let your excitement take over and talk to the international guests, it can lead to great cultural exchanges! I did feel a bit seasick, but overall, I was very satisfied.

This is a whale watch worth signing up for. The Captain is an utter delight, and her crew were outstanding! The atmosphere on the boat (best looking one in the harbor) was relaxed and friendly. Instructions were given quickly, and we were off. We saw quite a few whales, with Captain & crew pointing them out. The food was a big surprise - it was excellent, and there was plenty of it. It was advertised as “appetizers”, but the chicken wings and ribs were so good, you could make a meal out of them. They also had quite an array of alcoholic beverages to offer. We’ve been on whale watch boat tours before, but this one was the best ever. My husband & I wholeheartedly recommend this tour. Our only complaint was that it wasn’t long enough, but that was because it was so enjoyable we didn’t want it to end.

however, you don't really feel that you're 'in nature' if that's what you're looking for - it's a very large very fancy cruise ship - just be aware if you're looking for a more intimate experience!

I mistakenly remembered the date I booked online as one day later, and realized my mistake the night before what I thought was my whale watching day (the reservation was actually for that afternoon). On a whim, I called the local contact the next morning to explain the situation, and they said that while a Japanese guide wouldn't be available, I was welcome to join if that was okay. I was able to board the boat successfully! Thank you very much!

Once we headed out, I was able to see many whales, which was truly moving. They looked small in photos, but with the naked eye, I could see them much larger and closer. The sound of their tails hitting the water was incredibly powerful.

It was a relatively cloudy day, but after sitting outside for just 20 minutes, I got really sunburned, so sunscreen is a must. Also, I think those who are prone to seasickness should take precautions. Surprisingly, I found it quite comfortable to let myself be carried by the waves while sitting outside.

ネットで予約した日を１日遅く間違えて覚えており、明日はホエールウォッチングだと思った日の夜に間違いに気付きました（その日のお昼予約だったのです）。ダメ元で翌日朝に現地の連絡先に電話し事情を話すと、日本語ガイドは間に合わないがそれでもよければいらしてくださいとの事。無事上船することができました！ありがとうございました！
沖へ出るとたくさんのクジラを見ることができて感動的でした。写真では小さいですが、肉眼ではもっと大きく近くにクジラを見ることができました。
尾びれで水面を叩く音は迫力満点です。
割と雲が多い日だったのですが、外の席へ20分も座っていたらすごく日焼けしたので、日焼け止めは必須です。
また、船酔いされやすい方は対策が必要だと思います。外の席で波に身を任せるようにすると意外に楽でした。

The weather had not been good for about a week, and there was a possibility that we might not see any dolphins, but we were able to see a pod of about 20 dolphins and a sea turtle, which was amazing.
*Some people were feeling nauseous, so I think it would be a good idea to take motion sickness medication with you or bring some along.

全体的に曇りでしたが、ボートで向かうイルカウォッチング、水上遊び場所では晴れていて良かったです。

1週間程天候が良くなく、イルカを見ることが出来ない可能性があるとのことでしたが、無事に20匹程の群れとウミガメを見ることが出来て最高でした。

I participated with my 5-year-old daughter. Initially, she was afraid of the ocean and planned to just watch from the boat, but after seeing everyone swimming with the dolphins, she wanted to join in. Thanks to the staff member Julie for her support, we were able to get in the water together. I appreciate the thoughtfulness.

As advice for those joining the tour, snacks and drinks are provided after the tour, so I think it's a good idea to bring about 500ml of water on the boat. The photos were taken by a professional photographer, and the data cost $50 per group. The content was sufficient.

当初、海が苦手で船の上から見てるだけの予定だったのですが、みんながイルカと泳ぐのを見て一緒に行きたいと言いだし急遽スタッフのジュリさんがサポートして頂き共に海に入れました。

I had a very precious experience being able to see a baby whale up close. My one-and-a-half-year-old daughter was with me, but she fell asleep during the boat's rocking. After she woke up, she was happy walking around the boat. I was satisfied that we also got to see dolphins at the end, but the boat was rocking a lot... A few people ended up getting sick, and my husband was fighting to hold it together. My daughter and I managed to be okay. I think it's a good idea to take motion sickness medication!

I was overwhelmed with joy to interact with dolphins for the first time! There were Japanese-speaking staff, so I had no trouble at all. However, there weren't many places to spend time at Sea Life Park, which left me with a bit of free time. It was nice that I could watch some shows, though.

Amazing experience with whale that circled us many times and went under the boat. He stayed with us for about 30 minutes - circling, and coming up to look at us - so close we could have reached out and touched him. Finale was when he finally left and gave us a huge breech. Simply incredible - no whale watching tour could ever beat this one. Crew wonderful too. Best day ever.

We were able to see whales several times! So, I am satisfied.

However, on this day, the waves were quite rough, and about half of the passengers on board were vomiting due to seasickness, which was quite a scene. Fortunately, my family all took motion sickness medication before boarding, so we managed to avoid getting sick, but the rocking was enough to make anyone anxious, even with the medication.

While it's understandable since we are dealing with nature, during the two and a half hours of the trip, those who got sick were not able to enjoy the whales at all. It was noted that the Majestic is less prone to rocking, but depending on the weather, it can still be quite bumpy. Therefore, I strongly recommend taking motion sickness medication before going.

しかしこの日はかなり揺れが凄く、乗船した方の約半数の方々が船酔いで嘔吐されており大変な様子でした。
幸いにもうちの家族は全員乗船前に酔い止めを服用していた為、酔わずに済みましたが服用していても不安になるほどの揺れでした。

自然が相手ですので仕方ないとはいえ、乗船時間2時間半の間、酔われた方々はクジラどころではない様子でした。
マジェスティック号は揺れにくいと記載されていましたが、天候によってはかなり揺れます。
ですので、しっかりと酔い止めを服用されていくことをお勧めします。

It was my first time whale watching. I thought it would be nice to at least see the shadow of a whale, but whales appeared everywhere, which was beyond my expectations. However, I felt like we were being played with, as the boat would move towards the direction where the whales appeared, but they wouldn't show themselves easily.

初めてのホエールウォッチングでした。クジラの影でも見れたら良いな、ぐらいに考えていたのですが、あちこちにクジラが現れ、想像以上でした。ただクジラが現れた方向に船が移動するとなかなか姿を見せないなど、遊ばれているようにも感じました。

Left on time and had a great time with a small group of people on this trip. Close to the water gives one a better view of these great animals. The crew was friendly and knowledgeable.
We saw whales and one up close, even went under our raft and stuck around. Never saw anything so amazing, we even got wet from his spray!
Better than we expected!

Morning Cruise - saw multiple whales

Because it was a morning cruise, they made good on sighting whales. There were multiple sightings. The amount of time on the boat was good, because after the sightings, I could actually relax and just enjoy the rest of the boat ride. The refreshments were tremendous. The crew was very generous and informative. I know the crew couldn't get as close as I would have liked, because of regulations, but I sure would have liked to have closer pictures and more majestic surfacings. But, overall we were happy with the cruise.

It was great!
I had a wonderful time, and Juri's stories were interesting. The teamwork of the Captain Crew was excellent. We were able to dive in the dolphins' pathway. Without swimming much, just staying still, a large group of dolphins came towards us! My wife was also very moved.
I would like to try again on our next trip to Hawaii. The famous professional photographer, Maeda, took some beautiful pictures for us. We were also able to see whales.

I had a rare experience being able to see manta rays up close! They come quite close to you, which can be a little scary. I usually don't get seasick, but I started to feel queasy after floating in the water and looking down at the manta rays for a long time, so I went back up to the boat partway through. I think it's a good idea for those who are prone to motion sickness to take some medication. It gets chilly at night, so I also recommend preparing for the cold.

マンタを間近で見ることができて、貴重な体験ができました！マンタの方からかなり近づいて来るので、ちょっと怖いくらいです。
普段あまり酔ったりはしませんが、マンタを見るためにずっと下を向いて海に浮いて波に揺られていたことで、酔ってきたので途中でしたが船上に上がりました(･･;)
