I went on September 9th. Thanks to our guide Yamamoto's engaging talk, the car ride was enjoyable! While other tour participants looked cold at the summit, we were perfectly warm in our ski suits! We were able to fully enjoy the sunset and starry sky! Thank you for kindly answering our questions about recommended souvenirs as well. I would love to participate again in a different season.

The seaside location is amazing! It was a bit disappointing that it was only 45 minutes long, but riding the horse while enjoying the beautiful ocean, sandy beaches, and greenery of the North Shore created the best atmosphere! I was able to take great photos that my friends would envy, even while riding with one hand on the shutter! There were three instructors with us, and they chatted with us, saying things like, "They filmed Pirates of the Caribbean here!" and "Turtle!" I had a lot of fun, especially since I'm studying English. We stopped at various places on the way to the North Shore, which was also enjoyable! The ocean at the North Shore was very beautiful and felt like a private beach, which was great! I wanted to play in the ocean as well as ride horses, so I would be happy if there was a plan that combined horseback riding and swimming! But I definitely want to ride horses at this place again!

海辺のロケーションが最高です！45分と少し短いのが残念でしたが、馬に乗りながら、ノースショアの美しい海、砂浜、緑と最高の雰囲気でした！馬に乗りながらも片手でシャッターを切ることが出来たので、友達に羨ましがられるくらいの良い写真が撮れました！インストラクターの方が3人着いて下さり、途中「ここでパイレーツオブカリビアンの撮影をしたんだよ！」とか「タートル！」とか話しかけてくれて英語勉強中の私はとても楽しかったです、ノースショアに来るまでに、途中いろいろな所に寄って行くので、それも楽しかったです！ノースショアの海がとても綺麗でいかにもプライベートビーチという感じで良かったです！乗馬だけではなくて、海でも遊びたかったので、乗馬＋海水浴が出来るプランがあったら嬉しいです！でも絶対また乗馬はこの場所でしたいです！！

At the end of December last year, we visited Maui and Oahu for our honeymoon. I wanted to see the sunset, so I requested to join the Haleakalā tour in Maui. When I called the hotel, they informed me that the weather was going to be tough... But both my husband and I wanted to go regardless of whether we could see anything! That was our answer. When I conveyed this, they replied, "Of course."

On the day of the tour, they picked us up, took us to the post office, and brought us to a yogurt ice cream shop. Since it was just the two of us, we had great conversations, and there were plenty of bathroom breaks. Despite being told that the chances of seeing the sunset were slim, we were able to see it! At the summit, we took wonderful photos, and on the way back, we were treated to warm tea, a bento box, and they provided chairs, blankets, and jackets for us. When I looked up, the starry sky was breathtaking, and I couldn't help but shed a few tears.

My husband, who is shy, also seemed to have a great time talking. Even though it was a tour, it felt very personal, as if we were being taken around by someone close to us. We are expecting a child in November this year, so we would like to join again as a family of three. Please take care of yourselves until then and continue the tours. Thank you very much!

サンセットが見たくて、私のリクエストでマウイ島のハレアカラツアーに参加しました。ホテルから電話すると、お天気が厳しいとのお答えが…
でも、私も主人も来たからには見えなくても行きたい！それが答えでした。その旨を伝えると、もちろんとのお返事が。
当日、お迎えに来ていただき、郵便局へ行ったり、ヨーグルトアイスのお店へ連れていっていただいたり、私達２人の貸しきりだったので、お話もとっても弾み、途中のトイレ休憩もたくさんあり、ほぼ望みは薄いといわれてたサンセットも見ることが出来、山頂では素敵な写真も撮って頂き、帰る途中では温かいお茶に幕の内弁当に、椅子にブランケットにジャケットを用意していただき、見上げれば満点の星空☆勝手に涙が出てきました。

人見知りの主人もお話出来たこととてもいい思い出だったみたいです。
ツアーなのにツアー感を感じず、とっても身近な方に連れていって頂いてる感じでした。
今年の11月に子供が生まれるので、今度は３人で参加したいと思います。
その時まで体に気をつけてツアー続けて下さいね。

It's been four years since my last trip to Hawaii, and this was my first time on the Big Island! I only knew about "Kilauea," so I spent months reading guidebooks and websites to plan my trip. My style is to create the best original plan and explore efficiently and freely by rental car. However, I was worried about the unpaved roads to "Mauna Kea," so I looked for a tour.

I found the "Mauna Kea Summit Sunset & Stargazing Tour <Reflecting Telescope> by Masashi Nature School." I was attracted by the very reasonable pricing, the Japanese-speaking tour, and the high ratings in reviews.

Our guide, Mr. Yamamoto, was kind and fun. He had a wealth of knowledge, and I found the stories about constellations, which I usually don't pay much attention to, very interesting. The interactions with my junior, Mr. Konno, were also entertaining. It's no surprise that there were several repeat customers.

The "Japanese bento made by Americans" we had at the Onizuka Center (as mentioned by Yamamoto) was also very delicious! I was happy that the "miso soup" made by other tour participants was homemade instead of instant.

The big jump over a 4,000-meter mountain felt like I accomplished something truly amazing, and it became a memorable experience.

Speaking of memories, I have a special one! The day before, I went to Kilauea by rental car and enjoyed the night view of the crater from the Jaggar Museum overlook. While I was there, an unfamiliar foreigner approached me and handed me an iPhone. They were confused about what to do with a found iPhone that was made in Japan. When I called the top contact, it turned out to be "Masashi Nature School Office"! Huh? I've heard that name before…!!! It's the tour I was scheduled to join the next day! What a coincidence! The following day, I was able to return it safely in exchange for a lovely souvenir.

Next time, I want to go with my family. Thank you again!

　オニヅカセンターでいただいた「アメリカ人が作ったジャパニーズ弁当」（山本：話）もとてもおいしかった！　ほかのツアーの方たちがインスタントで作っている「お味噌汁」が手作りだったのも嬉しかったです。
　４０００メートル級の山を飛び越える大ジャンプ！も、なんだか本当にすごいことをやってのけた感じがして、思い出になりました。
　思い出といえば、私には特別な思い出も！　前日、レンタカーでキラウエアに行き、ジャガー博物館展望台で火口の夜景を楽しんでいたところ…。見知らぬ外国人に声をかけられ、iphoneを渡されました。拾ったiphoneが日本製でどうしたらよいか、困っているとのこと。連絡先の一番上にかけてみると、そこは「マサシのネイチャースクール　事務所」！　ん？　聞いたことがあるぞ…？　！！！明日参加予定のツアーだ！　なんという偶然！　翌日、素敵なお土産と引き換えに？無事お返しすることができました。

The weather on the day of the tour was really nice, and the starry sky was perfectly visible! The explanations of the constellations were very easy to understand, and the guide was lively and fun. The silhouette photos of the sunset were also very beautiful. It was impressive to see the red glow of Kilauea Volcano during the stargazing, and being able to download the photos taken later was one of the reasons for my great satisfaction. This was an amazing sunset dinner cruise for my girlfriend and I. We had attended this cruise as a birthday gift to her, and it felt like we were on a honeymoon. This cruise is meant for couples because it is amazingly breathtaking with the view of Diamond Head crater, the deep blue ocean, and the beautiful shores of Waikiki. Then to top it all off with a sunset upon our west coast beaches.

The circle island tour (1 star) was too much a rush, it is literally a drive half way around the island to get to PCC, only a couple stops that barely has time to get off the bus and take photos, and no where states that the famous Hanauma Bay is closed on Tuesday for cleanup.

The PCC operates like the cruise ship, put a lei on you just to have photographer take pictures to sell you later, and then take the lei back. The so called guides in the PCC are students where some of them are not well trained to handle the group; you can do everything by yourself using the schedule of programs.

The Luau was mediocre, no whole pig roasting, just a huge dinning hall with lots of people, eating the buffet, and some show on stage. Sorry, I live in Vegas, this cannot compare.

"HA: Breath of Life" Show definitely 5 star, very well done and great performers, if you are willing to pay high price for shows in Vegas, this one is on par.

I saw three shooting stars. After that, the sky gradually brightened, and I was able to see the sunrise I had longed for. The summit is very cold, so it's better to prepare for the cold. (Even with a T-shirt, Heattech, fleece, scarf, and gloves, it was still quite chilly.) I actually wanted to go on a Japanese tour, but I couldn't book it for the desired date... However, I really wanted to see the sunrise. I was anxious about the English tour, but coffee and bread were provided on the bus, and I was able to achieve my goal of seeing the sunrise. There was no explanation about the stars, but if you're just looking to see the sunrise, I recommend it. After the sun rises, they take you to a scenic viewpoint. I was also satisfied with the breakfast after descending the mountain. The scenery was truly magnificent.

I really wanted my whole family to participate, but due to the age restrictions for children, I went as a representative (laughs). The sunset and the gradient of the sky were amazing, resembling a scene from the moon. Additionally, the starry sky, where even satellites were clearly visible, was unique to Mauna Kea. The guide's talk was also brilliant. Personally, I was surprised that I could capture such a beautiful starry sky with my mirrorless camera. I even learned how to use the camera from the guide, and it was a very satisfying tour. I want to go again!

Bob and I went to Maui to have an amazing anniversary trip and this was the highlight of our trip. The personal attention that we received from our tour guide, Ed, was beyond expectations. We learned about the island and it was in a pleasant atmosphere. The sights and weather were beautiful and we will never forget the time we spent on this trip. The Orchid farm was awesome and the owners were very informative. My orchids were delivered after I returned home and they greet me each morning with the beautiful smell and sights of them. This was the best hours of our trip and we enjoyed every moment of it. Thank you Ed for making our anniversary one to remember.

It was tough... 大変だった・・・・

Private beach → lunch → movie village → jeep experience, but there was absolutely no time between each tour, and we only had about 15 minutes for lunch before heading to the movie village tour. After that, it was off to the jeep location... It felt like there was no time even to go to the restroom. The kids wanted to look at souvenirs, but the schedule was set so tightly that we barely made it back to the bus on time...

It was a full-day tour, but I ended up exhausted.

The private beach wasn't as beautiful as I expected... It felt like there was nothing to do after about an hour...

The person who organized everything was fluent in Japanese and was very helpful.

But I don't think I'll go again...

プライベートビーチ→昼食→映画村→ジープと体験しましたが、各ツアーの合間の時間が全くなく、昼食も15分ほどで食べ、次は映画村のツアーの場所。それが終わるとジープの場所・・・等　トイレに行く暇もない感じ。子ども達はお土産も見たそうでしたが、帰りのバスの時間までギリギリに設定・・・・

一日のツアーでしたが、くたくたになりました。

プライベートビーチも思ったほど海はきれいではなく。。。一時間程でやる事がなくなってしまった感じでした。。。。

仕切ってくれた方は日本語が堪能で良くしてくれました。

でも次は行かないかな・・・って感じです。

Our guide Ed was very informative throughout the tour. I would recommend taking a tour rather than driving it, the bus drivers know the roads well so you feel safe. Other people have mentioned it was a bumpy ride but i didnt think so. There is nothing much in Hana itself, its more the journey getting there, great scenery...

Initially, we considered driving there ourselves, but choosing this tour was definitely the right decision!

The hiking trail was longer than we imagined, so driving would have been tough, but more importantly, the owner of Maui All Stars, Mr. Yamauchi, was fantastic.

I was torn between sunrise and sunset, but considering the clarity of the air, he strongly recommended sunset! We were able to enjoy the starry sky at a leisurely pace.

登山道は想像以上に長い道のりだったので、運転はつらかっただろうという理由もありますが、それ以上に、マウイオールスターズのオーナーのヤマウチさんは素晴らしかったからです。

野生のイルカウォッチング＆シュノーケリングツアー ＜朝食・昼食付き＞

We participated as a family with our three children, aged 11, 8, and 5.

The snorkeling location was quite deep (over 10-15 meters?), and since our youngest child couldn't swim, we had some concerns. However, they provided children's life jackets, and with the floaties we brought, the kids were able to float and enjoy themselves. The older two were initially scared, but as they got used to it, they enjoyed snorkeling in the clear sea. The staff were also very friendly, and the freshly made hamburgers were delicious. We even got to see dolphins along the way, making it a very satisfying tour overall.

Since the boat ride to the snorkeling location is quite long, it's advisable for those prone to seasickness to take motion sickness medication beforehand (the older child got seasick). If you have small children, bringing floaties would enhance their enjoyment as well.

Despite a few challenges, it was a very enjoyable tour, and I can definitely recommend it for families.

子供用のライフジャケットも完備されており、持参した浮き輪を使って
ぷかぷかと浮かんで楽しんでいました。
上の２人も最初は怖がっていましたが、慣れてくるとシュノーケルを使って
透き通った海を楽しんでいました。
スタッフの方も非常に親切で、焼き立てのハンバーガも美味しかったです。
途中イルカにも会うことができ、ツアーとしては非常に満足できるものでした。

シュノーケリングする場所まで結構乗船する為、船酔いする方は
酔い止めを必ず飲んでいった方が良いです。（上の子は酔いました）
また小さな子供がいるようであれば、浮き輪も持参した方が楽しめると
思います。

いろいろとありましたが、ツアーとしては非常に楽しめるもので
家族連れの方にも十分おすすめできます。
