I was really torn between joining a tour that only included transportation or one that had an instructor. Ultimately, I decided I definitely wanted to have fun, so I signed up for the tour with an instructor. After arriving at Hanauma Bay, we were able to enter without waiting in a long line, and it was easy to move around with just our personal belongings since we didn't have to carry snorkeling gear. This was all thanks to the instructor.

I thought snorkeling would be easy, but it turns out the entry and exit points in the water vary depending on the tide and weather. The instructor was very knowledgeable about where the fish and turtles were, which helped us maximize our experience and minimize fatigue.

I was very satisfied because we were able to see many things we wouldn't have seen if we had gone on our own. The instructor also took photos for us, allowing us to preserve our memories in a tangible way.

送迎だけがついたツアーかインストラクターの方がつくツアーに参加するか大変迷いました。やはり絶対に楽しみたいと思い、インストラクターの方がついたツアーに申し込みました。ハナウマ湾に到着後は長蛇の列に並ぶことなく入場でき、シュノーケルなどの道具も持たずに自分の手荷物を持つだけで移動も楽でした。全てインストラクターの方がいたからです。
シュノーケルに関しても、簡単にできると考えていましたが、潮の流れや天気によって海に入ったり、出てくる場所が違うようです。魚やカメが居る場所も良く熟知されているのでムダなく、体力の消耗も最小限に抑えられ良かったです。
自分達だけで行っていたら、見られなかったものを沢山見られて大満足でした。写真もインストラクターの方が撮ってくださり、思い出も形として残せました。

Under the clear blue sky, I boarded the boat welcomed by a genuine Hawaiian captain and a cheerful crew. Just as we were about to leave the harbor, we encountered a sea turtle right away! And to our surprise, we also saw a pod of dolphins, which is quite rare. We were able to see dolphins several times afterward, and when I jumped into the sea, dolphins were swimming right in front of me. I was truly moved by that sight! The water was so clear that I could see them well. After that, we moved to another spot and met more sea turtles. I was once again touched by the graceful, slow swimming of the turtles! The beautiful, rich sea of Hawaii, the deep blue sky, and the vibrant mountain scenery were so healing that I felt like crying.

The spam onigiri we had for lunch was also delicious. Finally, we danced hula with the crew on the boat. That was really fun too.

It became a treasured memory for a lifetime. I’m really glad I participated. Lastly, Aino, the Japanese staff member, was friendly, and her smile was very lovely and cute. I felt very reassured that I could communicate in Japanese. I definitely want to participate again when I go to Hawaii! 😊

快晴の空の下、生粋のハワイアンの船長さんや明るくて陽気なクルーさんに迎えられて船に乗り込みました。ハーバーを出ようとしたところ、早速ハーバーの中で海亀に遭遇！そしてなんとイルカの群れにも遭遇しました。大変珍しいそうです。その後もイルカの群れに何回も遭遇できて、すぐに海に飛び込むと目の前にイルカが泳いでいました。その光景に心から感動！海の透明度が高いのでしっかりと見ることができました。その後、場所を移動して海亀にも会えました。優雅にゆっくりと泳ぐ海亀にまたまた感動！ハワイの美しい豊かな海、真っ青な空、鮮やかな山の景色に涙が出そうなくらい癒やされました。
お昼ごはんとして頂いたスパムおにぎりも美味しかったです。最後にクルーの方達とフラを船上で踊りました。
それも本当に楽しかったです。
一生の宝物の思い出になりました。
本当に参加して良かったです。
最後に、日本人スタッフさんのあいのさんがフレンドリーで笑顔がとても素敵でキュートでした。
やっぱり日本語が通じるのはとても心強いと思いました。
ハワイに行ったらまた絶対に参加したいと思います(^^)

My spouse and I participated in a snorkeling tour. Our instructor, Chieko, provided explanations about Hawaii during the ride, which really got us excited. When we arrived at Hanauma Bay, the waves were calm and the weather was perfect, allowing us to swim close to sea turtles! I highly recommend this snorkeling experience. However, even though I took motion sickness medication, I still felt a bit seasick, so if you're prone to motion sickness, please be careful.

Thanks to our instructor Chieko, I feel like I'm falling in love with the charm of Hawaii.

I was a bit disappointed because the weather was bad.
They sell items like motion sickness pills and shoes if needed.
There is an explanation when purchasing, but it can come off as trying to make you buy something.
I was told that I could download photos later, but only one is free.
The rest will incur a fee.
I thought that with the explanation on board, I could download all my favorite photos for free.
I gave the tip to the captain when we disembarked.
I don't want to carry cash, so I would prefer a price that includes the tip.
I would like the tip requirement (percentage of the tour cost) to be clearly stated in the tour details.

This trip exceeded my expectations. We swam with dolphins several times. One pod consisted of 16 dolphins. And we probably saw 50 green sea turtles. Outstanding! The crew went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great experience. I was saying good bye to my pictures as my camera sank into the coral below. Then Paul dove at least 25 feet underwater to retrieve it. Who could have expected this amount of attention? . As a bonus, he made his pictures available for everyone on board. Thank you, thank you!

I took my 3-year-old daughter on our first trip to Hawaii. With a small child, there are limits to what you can do, so I pondered various activities in Hawaii, but this tour was completely suitable for little kids (3 years old) and was incredibly enjoyable!

I checked the tide times for Kaneohe in advance and chose a tour date during the lowest water level of our stay in Hawaii. However, whether the weather would be good was up to luck... We were really fortunate, as it was sunny from the morning, and the water level was just about knee-high, so we had a fantastic time. The staff were very friendly, cheerful, and made the experience fun, and they were very kind to my daughter as well. She looked like she was having a great time, and I was so happy to see that. The buffet on the boat was delicious too!

We also got to see sea turtles, and I was surprised at how close they came to us. While the weather can be a matter of luck, I highly recommend that those who will participate check the tide times in advance before signing up!

My first experience with snorkeling was thrilling, and it became an unforgettable, amazing memory!

We had a full hour at two locations: Molokini Island and a spot where we could encounter sea turtles, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful ocean with its different expressions.

The meals, including breakfast, lunch, and the final bar time, were also satisfying! The lunch burger and Maui beer were especially delicious!

Our Japanese guide, KANA, was very kind and accompanied us into the water, which made me feel secure throughout the experience.

If I ever go to Maui again, I would love to participate once more!

We did the snorkeling tour with Chieko and Dan and it was amazing. Their help and information was appreciated. My boyfriend was terrified of sinking and Dan explained it thoroughly which gave him the confidence he needed to do it. We saw sooo many out of this world fish it was like an acquarium, and even a turtle! We had plenty of time to explore the entire bay and you go plenty deep to see some amazing marine life. It was a once in a lifetime experience so thankyou Blue Hawaii Divers!

Unfortunately, due to the weather, the temperature was lower than expected, and it felt a bit cold on the boat with the wind. A beach towel is a must; I regretted bringing a smaller towel (laughs). The tour staff kept us warm by organizing beach volleyball and encouraging us with their cheers. The hamburgers eaten on the boat were exceptional! I wonder if the title "BBQ" is because they grill the patties and such? Since we had free time in the afternoon, I was able to make the most of the day!

I participated with my wife and our two elementary school children. We visited two snorkeling spots with abundant coral and high visibility, where we saw many tropical fish and even sea turtles. The kids were very excited, and I think it became a memorable part of our trip.

The Japanese staff kindly taught us the procedures and how to use the equipment, and they also recommended spots in the water and informed us when we spotted sea turtles, allowing us to have a safe and fulfilling time.

The hamburgers we ate on the boat, along with the beer, cookies, and coffee during our return trip after snorkeling, were all fantastic and highly recommended under the refreshing blue sky of Maui!

It was unfortunate that we couldn't go to Molokini Island due to strong winds, but as mentioned, we saw plenty of fish and sea turtles, which adds to the excitement for next time.

The tour was better than we had anticipated. We went with a 20 month old toddler, sea was calm.
The bus that picked us from the hotel was clean and the bus ride was relaxing.
The atmosphere was friendly, tour guides were fun and professional. Food was excellent, they catered for my spouse who has special dietary needs.
Overall the experience was amazing and will definitely go back to Sandbar with Captain Bob's sandbar adventure

I went directly to the meeting point since I had rented a car. On time, our guide Daisuke arrived. He was amazing!! He claimed to know more about dolphins than anyone else in the world, and he was right.

There were tours for foreigners, and the dolphin spots were crowded, but with his precise guidance, we were able to read the dolphins' movements from the agile boat and dive in!

We were able to see dolphins right in front of us during every dive. I had participated in several tours in Oahu, but this experience was on a completely different level in terms of encounters with dolphins, proximity, and enjoyment.

My middle school daughter was also very satisfied; it was a memorable tour. Thank you, Daisuke. This tour is definitely better than the more famous ones!

I had been interested for a while, but this time I decided to participate for the first time. To prepare, I researched the dates and times when the sandbar would be fully exposed and booked a morning tour. The weather was a bit cloudy, but as scheduled, the sandbar was completely revealed and it was breathtaking. After that, I enjoyed snorkeling and water sports. The Sea Paradise crew gave us a great experience, from setting us up with wet suit and snorkel gear to teaching us how to "behave" in the water (#1 rule - Don't touch the Manta Rays, #2 rule - don't pee in the wetsuits - haha! - they provide a bathroom on board), providing drinks and snacks, including hot chocolate which was welcome after the snorkeling. They also made sure we weren't needlessly floating around in the water before the rays showed up, but got us in there in plenty of time to see 4 different rays swimming literally inches below our faces! So cool to see them somersault and glide beneath you. Completely worth the cost! Do this!

From check in to check out, this cruise was absolutely outstanding. The crew took great care of every detail without making you feel micromanaged! You want to swim with turtles?! Sign up! You spend 1.5 hours snorkeling with these amazing creatures. Back on the katamaran, lunch was delicious and plenty of cocktails and soft drinks. Then sails up and sail and it was breathtaking! I really can’t say enough good about this cruise. I would do it everyday if I could! Thank you Capt Josh and your awesome crew for making this the experience of a lifetime! They go above and beyond to ensure it is the BEST experience!

Captain Ryan and his crew definitely do a great job!! You can tell they all love their job and give their customers 150% every time!! We got to swim with turtles and lots of fish and every time we saw Dolphins they would go chasing them to make sure we got a close look every time. The girls at the front desk were also very helpful and when we wanted to buy souvenirs they went out of their way to go upstairs and show us everything they had. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

It started off a bit gloomy with rain in Waikiki early in the morning, but we arrived after about an hour to beautiful weather! 2歳の子連れでしたが船上では母に見てもらい、シュノーケルには夫婦での参加です☆朝早くワイキキは雨で憂鬱なスタートでしたが1時間程で到着し、着いたらとてもいい天気でした！運良く船に乗る前からウミガメを見ることができました(^ ^)出発後もすぐにイルカに遭遇して急いで海に入りました！！次々と海にジャンプして入るので少し焦りましたが(^-^;シュノーケル初心者には少しハードなのかな？と思いましたが、不安な方はガイドさんが付いてくれますので安心です☆シュノーケルには慣れていて自身があったのですが、思っていたより疲れました(°_°)イルカとのシュノーケルは一回でしたが、船に戻る途中にもう一度近くを泳いでくれたので一緒に泳ぐ？機会は2回あり満足でした☆船に戻り移動してまたイルカの大群に遭遇しましたが、サメが多い場所とのことで船からのウォッチングになりましたが、どちらも体験できたので良かったです(^ ^)イルカのジャンプもたくさん見れました！その後はウミガメとシュノーケルです。移動してウミガメのポイントへ。少し泳いですぐに見れたのでこれも満足です(^ ^)5匹いました！触ってはいけないのは承知ですが、びっくりするほど近づいてくるので当たらないように逆に遠ざかるのに必死な程でした(^-^;船で作ってくれる出来立てのハンバーガーもとても美味しかったです☆港に着いてからは何と！エイまで見れました!!!!船から降りて、行きに見た場所でまたウミガメも見れました☆もう何から何まで最高な体験になりました！またハワイに行くときには絶対に参加したいです(^ ^)☆

Before going to Hawaii, I was concerned about the weather, but it didn't rain and was cloudy instead. It was low tide, and the sandbar appeared beautifully, which was breathtaking. My friend, who was excited to see the honu (sea turtles), was thrilled to spot them popping their heads out of the water and surfacing for air while snorkeling among the corals. It was really great to see that. The crew on the boat was very friendly and provided explanations in Japanese, making me want to go again.

The food was delicious. We walked through the water to reach the sandbar, but the sandbar itself has corals, so it can be painful to walk on it barefoot. I recommend bringing marine shoes if you have them. You can buy them locally, but we went barefoot. The staff were also walking around barefoot. While the tide was coming in, the boat rocked a bit, so if you're prone to motion sickness, I think taking motion sickness medication would be wise. I usually don't get seasick, and I felt I didn't need any medication. I highly recommend the sandbar.

ちょうど引き潮の時でサンドバーが綺麗に出現していて感動でした。一緒に行った友達もホヌを見るのが楽しみで、サンドバーに向かっている途中でも海面から頭を出すところやシュノーケリングでサンゴに隠れている所とか呼吸のため海面に上っていく姿見れてすごく良かったです。船の乗組員も日本語で説明してくれたり超フレンドリーな方ばかりでまた行きたいと思うほどです。
食事も美味しかったです。サンドバーまでは海の中を歩いて行きましたが、サンドバー自体がサンゴのため海面から出ると裸足だと痛いです、マリンシューズ持ってる方は持って行った方がいいかと思います。持っていなくても現地で買えますが私たちは裸足で行きました。スタッフさんも裸足でスタスタ歩いていました。海が満ちてきている途中は船が揺れて、車酔いされる方は酔い止めは必要かと思います。私は普段酔わないですが酔い止めはいらなかった感じでした。サンドバーお薦めです。
