The Star of Honolulu sunset cruise, was awesome! My husband surprised me with the dinner cruise to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Once on board, we met and had a picture taken with the Captain. We visited with some of the staff, they were fascinated that we were American Indians. Once the cruise set off, appetizers were served and it was the beginning of the amazing 7 course dinner. Each course was better than the previous dish served. The serving staff were fantastic, took care of any needs or questions we had. The entertainment was extraordinary, from the piano player, Hawaiian dancers to the beautiful singer at the end. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend this to anyone who wants to do something very special for any occasion.

We boarded the boat from the beach and set off!! Be careful of the waves, or you might get wet up to your knees. Inside the boat, it's barefoot. Flip-flops are recommended!
Most of the participants were foreigners, and the crew was also foreign. They kept the atmosphere lively in English, so as someone who's not great at English, I just enjoyed the vibe!
As for drinks, my English was a bit shaky, so I kept ordering Mai Tais.
The fireworks lasted about 10 to 15 minutes! After that, we cruised the night sea. The neon lights of Waikiki were really beautiful!

浜辺からボートに乗り込み、出発！！波に注意して乗り込まないとヒザ上まで濡れるかも。ボートの中では裸足。ビーサンがおすすめ！
参加メンバーはほとんど外人で、クルーも外人さん。英語で盛り上げてくれるので、英語が苦手な私は雰囲気だけ味わいました！
ドリンクも、英語がビミョーなのでマイタイばかりおかわりしてました。
花火は10～15分くらいでした！あとは夜の海をクルーズ。ワイキキのネオンがとてもキレイでした！

We were the only Japanese family there. Everyone else was a foreigner, and since I couldn't speak English, I didn't understand what they were saying, but I just went along with the flow. Sitting near the net at the front of the boat, I got splashed with water, and it was fun.

日本人は私達家族だけでした。
みんな外国人で英語が出来ない私は何を言ってるか分からずでしたが、ノリでついていきました。
船の先のネット近くで座ってると水しぶきがかかって、楽しかったです。

I was really looking forward to my first sunset sailing, but unfortunately, the weather was bad, and I couldn't see the sunset painted in bright red. However, I was glad to catch a glimpse of the orange sun peeking through the clouds. I recommend wearing easy-to-remove shoes since your feet will get wet when boarding. On the boat, you are first served a Mai Tai, and after that, you can order various alcoholic drinks at your leisure. The staff were cheerful and very kind, and there was a performance, making for a fun time. There is no restroom on board, but it seems quite narrow; however, I think it's still manageable. I would definitely consider doing this again next time.

初めてのサンセットセ―リング、すごく楽しみにしていましたがお天気が悪かったため、真っ赤に染まる夕日は見ることが出来ませんでした。しかし、ほんの少し、雲の切れ間から太陽のオレンジ色を見ることが出来て良かったです。乗船するときに足が濡れるため、脱ぎやすい靴がいいと思います。船上では、最初にマイタイを配ってもらえますが、その後は好きなタイミングでいろんなアルコールをオーダーできます。スタッフの皆さんは陽気でとても優しく、パフォーマンスもあり楽しい時間を過ごすことが出来ました。
トイレは入っていませんが、かなり狭いようですが入れないことはないと思います。また、次回もお願いすると思います。

From the moment that we first interacted with staff at the shuttle bus pick-up, the whole package was seamless. Staff made the bus ride and boarding so easy that we just had to be swept along and enjoy the experience. The management on the boat was also superb, but kept personal. The Friday night fireworks just completed a beautiful night.

I had never properly seen the Hilton fireworks before, especially from the ocean. It was truly wonderful. The night view of Waikiki also became a fantastic memory.

今までヒルトンの花火をまともに見たことがなく、しかも洋上から。ホントに素敵でした。
またワイキキの夜景も最高の思い出になりました。

Although the sunset sailing was delayed a bit due to some circumstances (high tide?), we ended up watching from the beach, which was disappointing. However, since it was a Friday sailing, the fireworks off the Hilton matched perfectly with the night view and were absolutely amazing! Also, the captain's entertaining performance while we enjoyed our drinks was great!

サンセットセーリングなのに、何かの都合（満潮？）で出航が少し遅れて、結局ビーチから眺める羽目になってしまいその点は残念でしたが、金曜のセーリングだったので、ヒルトン沖の花火も目の前で夜景とマッチして最高でした！また、アルコールを飲みながら聞くキャプテンの盛り上げ演出がグッドでした！

Before departure, there was quite a heavy rain and rough seas, so I thought it might be canceled. However, against the backdrop of whitecaps, we set sail. Since it was a catamaran, I felt there was less rocking. When the weather is bad, it can get very cold on the boat, so it's good to have something to wear. Also, because of the all-you-can-drink option, if you get carried away and drink too much, you'll find yourself needing the restroom more often. There is indeed a type of restroom located on the left side of the bow that you enter from below. However, you have to go down a ladder of about 1 meter (and it's quite cramped inside), so those with mobility issues or elderly individuals should be extra careful.

出港する前まではかなり大雨と時化でしたので、中止になるのかな～と思って待っていたら、白波が立つ中なんと出港しました。双胴船なので揺れは少なかったように思います。天気が悪いと船上はとても寒いので羽織るものがあると良いです。また、飲み放題のため調子に乗って飲み過ぎるとトイレが近くなってきますが、なんと舳先の左側の方に下に入るタイプのトイレがあります。しかし、梯子で１mちょっと降りないと行けない（しかも中はかなり狭い）ので足が悪い方やお年寄りの方は更に気を付けて下さい。

The meeting at the Port Allen office was scheduled for 3:00 PM, but I parked a bit early at 2:30 PM in the parking lot behind the "Holo Holo Charters" sign in the back of the building. There were quite a few cars, so it was good that I arrived early to park.

Before the meeting, I checked in at the office. I signed the "consent form" on a touch panel and wandered around the nearby shops until the meeting time. The restroom is located behind the office.

When it was time, we gathered in the square in front of the office, and the captain called out names, to which we responded. After roll call, we headed to the port. Before boarding, we took off our shoes and placed them in a shoe bin to go barefoot. It was a good decision to wear flip-flops.

Those who boarded early went to the back of the boat. We didn't make it in time and ended up sitting at a table inside, but it turned out to be convenient during the meal. We could move around during the trip and enjoy the scenery.

As soon as we set off, we were served alcohol, soft drinks, crackers, and cheese. We moved quickly towards the Na Pali Coast. The view of the Na Pali Coast from the boat was breathtaking!

On the way back, we had dinner (tacos) and were also given cookies. (Some people put their cookies in a paper plate and Ziploc bag to take home.) Throughout the trip, drinks were available for free. There were also two restrooms, so it was comfortable to drink.

Although we didn't see any dolphins, we were lucky to spot whales a few times even though it was May. The sunset that day was truly wonderful, with no clouds to obstruct the view.

It became a great memory of Kauai. We returned to the port around 7:30 PM after about four hours on the water. Since the boat was constantly moving, I think those who are prone to seasickness should take medication.

The inside of the boat with a roof wasn't cold, but since it was moving, I recommend bringing a light windbreaker to enjoy the view. Some people might also need sunscreen.

We were the only Japanese people on board, and everything was in English, but the two crew members were very kind, and the service was excellent, making for a really enjoyable time.

ポートアーレン事務所集合15:00でしたが、少し早めの14:30に建物の奥の「Holo Holo Charters」の看板の駐車場に停めます。
割と車が多いので、早めに駐車して良かったです。
集合前に、事務所でチェックイン。
タッチパネルで「同意書」にサインし、集合時間まで、近くのショップをウロウロ。
トイレは事務所の裏にあります。
時間になり、事務所前の広場で集合し船長さんが名前を呼ぶので、返事をします。
点呼が終わったら、港へ。乗船する前に靴入れに靴を脱いで専用の裸足になります。
ビーチサンダルで行き正解でした。
早めに乗船した人は、船の後ろへ
私達は間に合わず、中のテーブルがある席に座りましたが、結果食事の際など便利。途中移動できるので、景色の十分楽しみます。
出発してすぐに、アルコールやソフトドリンク、クラッカーとチーズなどのサービス。
ナパリコーストまでどんどん移動します。
目の前に広がる船から見るナパリコースト❗️景圧巻の景色でした。
帰りに夕食(タコスでした)を食べながら、戻ります。クッキーも配られました。
(紙皿ジプロックにいれて、持って帰る人もいました)その間中、フリードリンクです。
トイレも2つあり、安心して飲めます。
イルカは見れませんでしたが、5月だったのにクジラを数回見る事が出来ラッキーでした。
サンセットもこの日は雲の邪魔なく、本当に素晴らしかったです。
カウアイ島での良い思い出になりました。
港に戻ったのは、19:30頃。4時間くらい乗ってます。ずっと走っているのて、揺れるので船酔いが心配な人は、薬を飲んだ方が良いと思います。
屋根のある船の中は寒くありませんが、走っているので景色を見る時に、薄手のウインドブレーカーは必ず持っていく事をオススメします。
日焼けも必要な方はいるかも。
日本人は私達だけで、全て英語でしたがクルーの方2名がとても親切で、サービスもよくとっても楽しい時間を過ごせました。

I was able to participate from Japan without any worries, thanks to the kind answers to my questions during the reservation process. The atmosphere was even better than I imagined, the drinks were very delicious, and they served plenty. Both of the captains were cool, which added to the charm of the sunset cruising. I am still reminiscing about the experience since returning home. Thank you very much. I will definitely make a reservation next time.

予約の際も質問に親切にお答え頂きまして何の不安もなく日本から楽しみに参加させていただきました。想像以上にムードも良く、ドリンクがとても美味しく、沢山振舞って下さいました。お二人のキャプテンさんもカッコよく、更にサンセットクルージングの魅力が増しました。帰国してからも思い出に浸っております。ありがとうございました。次回も必ず予約します。

Food service was somewhat quick, but understandable and good. Drinks did take some time and got confusing but the wait staff remembered and was very organized. Bartender could have used more help or another bartender to handle the people capacity. Overall great service and wonderful show!

We had a great time on the Sunset Cruise, the staff were great, sunset didn’t disappoint!!
I bought the tickets as a surprise for my husband’s 60th in Hawaii, and we both had a ball! Watch those Maitais though, as they warned us, they really do creep up on you...

I have used Sunset Sailing several times, but during busy times, I have often found it sold out after arriving on-site. This year, I took advantage of the option to make a reservation in advance. The sea changed to a deep blue, and I enjoyed views of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach from the water. With cheerful music playing and unlimited drinks like my favorite Mai Tai, the weather was great, and I was able to see the sunset perfectly. It was absolutely wonderful! My grandchild, who experienced this for the first time, was also thrilled!

サンセットセーリングは何度か利用したことがありましたが、混雑時期のこの時間帯は現地入りしてからではsold outということが何度かあり、今年は事前に予約できるこちらを利用させてもらいました。深いブルーに変化する海、海から見るダイヤモンドヘッドやワイキキビーチ、陽気な音楽を聴きながら大好きなマイタイ等のドリンク飲み放題、天気も良かったのでサンセットもバッチリ見ることが出来、とにかく最高でした。初体験の孫も大喜びでした!

Definitely a 5-star, money well spent experience at the premium top deck! From the service, music, accomodations, food to the beautiful sights!

We were caught in a little rain along the way, but the boat took us into the steep cliffs and the entrance of a cave, and I was overwhelmed by the beauty of nature. I even saw a whale's tail dancing on the surface of the water in the distance. On our way back, while watching the sunset over the sea and nearing the port, the last song that played was "Let It Be," which really touched me. The captain and the crew were all very friendly. I was disappointed that I couldn't drink beer since I had to drive. The parking lot is dark and not very busy at night, so be sure not to leave any valuables in the car.

途中少し雨に降られましたが、切り立った断崖や、洞窟の入り口まで船が入り、大自然に圧倒されました。遠くに鯨の尾びれが水面に舞うのも見れました。帰路につく中、海に沈む夕陽を見ながらもうすぐ港という時に、最後に流れた曲がLet it be、思わずジーンときました。船長もクルーも皆さんフレンドリーです。自分は運転しなければならなかったので、ビールが飲めなくて残念でした。駐車場は、夜は暗くて人気が少ないので、社内に貴重品を残さないように。

There is a live band and hula dancing, and the guests also participate and dance together. I am close with the band members, and they always accommodate my requests. It's fun, and I always look forward to it.

I was worried that I wouldn't be able to see the sunset because it was cloudy, but I was able to see it just before leaving! Just like last time, the Mai Tai was delicious, and the snacks that were handed out tasted surprisingly good, perhaps because we were on the boat. There were many Westerners, but there were also Japanese people, and we were able to take pictures with each other's families and enjoy our time together.

曇りで夕日が見れるか心配でしたが、帰り際にちゃんと見れました！前回同様マイタイも美味しく、配られたスナック菓子も船の上のせいか何故かとても美味しく感じました。西洋人の方が多いですが、日本人も居てお互いの家族で写真を取り合ったりして仲良く過ごせました。

From the departure, the explanations, the Mai Tai and champagne service, and the careful adjustment of the mast to ensure the boat could sail steadily were all done excellently, allowing us to relax and focus on chatting and taking photos.

出発から、説明、マイタイ、シャンペンのサービス、船が安定して航行できるようにマストの状態を注意深く調整するなど、最高の仕事ぶりで、私たちは安心して、おしゃべりや写真に集中できました。

The view of the Na Pali Coast is amazing. It's definitely worth seeing at least once. Personally, I have experienced sunset cruises in Hawaii several times, but the sunset cruise in Maui, where I saw whales and dolphins, was incredible. There was live ukulele music on board playing EZ songs, which was great, but if you're just looking to see the Na Pali Coast, this cruise was fantastic.

This is my third time, and it’s always amazing no matter how many times I go! The fireworks, the ocean, the drinks, and the music in Waikiki. Enjoying a drink while gazing at the night view of Waikiki is truly the best! Since it’s an open bar, the all-you-can-drink option is fantastic!

Since it was the last season in April, I expected it, but unfortunately, we couldn't see any whales. Perhaps feeling sorry for us, we were able to see the spout of a whale during our stopover, although it was quite far away.

4月の参加でシーズン最後だったので、予想はしてましたが、残念なからくじらを見ることはできませんでした。
そんな私たちを哀れに思ったのか、寄港する途中でくじらの潮吹いたところだけ見せてくれました。かなり遠かったけど。

Had a fabulous time on the fireworks cruise with the guys from Maitai catamaran. This was for my 50th birthday and was the most amazing way to spend it.
The crew where so nice and the drinks where yummy. Great music.
Very reasonable price.
Would highly recommend these guys.

A woman from the United States (about the size of a sumo wrestler) fell due to strong waves and started bleeding from her toes. The crew member (a fourth-generation Okinawan) responded promptly and effectively, which was impressive, especially while the yacht was rocking from the waves.

米国の女性（相撲取りくらいのサイズ）が、波が強くて転び、足の先から血が出てしまった際の、乗組員（沖縄４世）のてきぱきとした対応が素晴らしかった。（波でヨットが揺れながらの対応）

This was a great experience, the shuttle arrived right on time to pick us up, had to wait on the dock for about 20 minutes while the prepared for us to load which wasnt to bad, there was just the right amount of people so it wasnt to crowded, the food was amazing, the bar service top notch, and it was a nice smooth sailing and a perfect position for everyone to see the fireworks, would recomnd to to anyone to do from couples to families

The sunset in Waikiki offers a breathtaking view of the night scenery from the boat, and you can enjoy the fireworks without any obstructions. With light meals and alcohol, I had a great time feeling a bit tipsy among the high-energy passengers and the crew who spoke Japanese. It's also reassuring that there are restrooms on board. If there are many Japanese guests, they provide individual explanations in Japanese, which was very appreciated.

ワイキキのサンセット、夜景が船から一望でき、花火も視界を遮るものが何も無く堪能できます。軽い食事とアルコールでほろ酔い気分でハイテンションな乗客と日本語が通じるクルーのおもてなしでとても良い時間を過ごすことができました。トイレも船内にあるので安心です。日本人が多い場合は、日本語で個別に説明をしてくれるのでそこもありがたかったです。

It's all foreigners, so it feels a bit like an away game! If you can speak English, it might be fun~ And it depends on the weather~ Also, language skills! Communication too!

I arrived just in time for the 5 PM meeting, but the local staff greeted us with smiles. The waves were calm, and it felt great when the boat caught the wind and picked up a bit of speed. The scenery while sipping a Mai Tai on the boat, with the blue sky, the setting sun, and Diamond Head illuminated by the sunset, was truly wonderful.

There were two couples and a family of four, in addition to my own family of three, and everyone else was from various countries. Since we could speak English, we were able to chat with other passengers, which made for a very enjoyable time. There was no sign of poor service just because we were Japanese or because we couldn't speak English.

The staff on the boat were very friendly and helped create a lively atmosphere, making it a lot of fun. While there were no explanations in Japanese, I think even those who don't understand English at all could follow along through the staff's gestures.

I was a bit anxious about how to get to the meeting point, but if you go through the Sheraton's pool and bar, it's right in front of you. If you're unsure, you can show your voucher at the Sheraton front desk and say "Mai Tai Sunset," and they should be able to help you.

17時集合のギリギリ滑り込みになってしまいましたが、現地スタッフも笑顔で対応してくれました。
波も静かで、船が帆を張って風を受けて進むときに少しスピードが出て気持ちが良かったです。青い空、沈んでいく夕日、夕日を受けたダイアモンドヘッドなど、船上でマイタイを飲みながら見る景色は本当に素晴らしかったです。

日本人は自分の家族（3人）以外にカップルで2組とご家族で4人ぐらいで、他は皆さんいろんな国から来ていた人ばかりでした。自分たちは英語が話せたので、ほかの乗客とも話したりできてとても良い時間になりました。日本人だから、英語が話せないからといって、サービスが酷いなどの事も見られませんでした。

船上のスタッフもとても気さくで、その場を盛り上げてくれて楽しかったです。日本語での説明などはありませんが、全く英語が分からなくてもスタッフのジェスチャーなどで説明は理解できると思います。

集合場所への行き方が不安でしたが、シェラトンのプールとバーを抜けていくとすぐ目の前にあります。分からなかったら、シェラトンのフロントとかでバウチャー見せて「マイタイ・サンセット」と言えば教えてくれるかと思います。

This cruise was a great way to conclude our visit to Waikiki Beach. Beautiful sunset, friendly crew, lots of memories. We enjoyed the company of other people and the whole atmosphere on the boat.

Captain Chris and his crew were amazing. My wife and I had a blast.
If we hadn't already booked other attractions through the week, we'd have just hung out with the Manu Kai team for days. The guys spotted dolphins and redirected course to give us the up-close experience.
Just a great time. Loved it. Thank you guys so much.
