At first, I was worried about getting wet from the waves and the rocking of the boat, but it was fine. I held back a bit on the all-you-can-drink option since there were no restrooms, but the Mai Tai on board was delicious. There were no snack appetizers.

最初は波で濡れることやゆれる事を心配しましたが、大丈夫でした。飲み放題もトイレがないので少し抑え目にしていましたが、船上のマイタイはおいしかったです。おつまみスナックはありませんでした。

Mai Tai Katamaran is fully booked for reservations, so it's hard to get a spot once you're there. Moreover, I think this tour is very special because you can enjoy the fireworks. The departure time is after dinner, which gives you some leeway. First, we boarded the boat and toasted with Mai Tai. After that, we cruised and docked on the Hilton side. The boat stays in a position where you can see the fireworks from either side. If I had to say, the best position is the front right from the beach. At 8:00 PM, the fireworks started. For almost five minutes, you can enjoy the fireworks without anything obstructing your view. After the fireworks, we continued cruising along Waikiki Beach up to the Diamond Head area. It was a wonderful time. However, I noticed that other boats departing from Waikiki Beach had a higher ratio of foreigners, which created a more lively atmosphere, and I really liked that feeling of being abroad!

しかも、今回は花火鑑賞ができるということで、とても貴重なツアーだと思います。出発時間も夕飯を食べてからの出発なので余裕もありました。まずは、船内に乗り込みマイタイで乾杯。その後クルーズを経てヒルトン側に停泊。船の左右からどちからでも見えるように、泊まってくれます。強いて言うなら浜から見て右手手前がベストポジション。20:00になり花火開始。5分弱の時間、遮るものもなく花火を満喫できます。花火鑑賞後はクルージング。ワイキキビーチに沿ってダイアモンドヘッド付近までいきます。素敵な時間でした。ただ、ワイキキビーチから出ているほかの船の方が外国人比率が高いので、さらに盛り上がり、海外に来ている！という雰囲気は好きかな〜

I participated in a 5-star cruise for the first time in 20 years. This time, it coincided with Independence Day, and we were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset and fireworks, and the food was delicious. However, there was one concern: when everyone, several hundred people, rushed to the right side of the deck to watch the fireworks, the ship tilted a bit, which made it a little scary while I was filming. I would love to participate again if I have the opportunity.

20年ぶりに5スターでのクルーズに参加しました。今回は、たまたま独立記念日の日と重なり夕日・花火も綺麗に見えて食事もおいしかったです。しかし一つだけ花火を見る時に皆さん数百人の方が一斉に右側の甲板に出るので船が少し傾いてビデオを撮っているのが少し怖かったです。又この様な機会があれば参加したいと思います。

I participated in a family trip for both families that also served as a wedding ceremony. There were relatively few Japanese guests, which allowed me to enjoy the feeling of being abroad. The weather was nice, and the views of Waikiki from the ocean, as well as the sunset and night scenery, were very beautiful and enjoyable. The food wasn't particularly delicious. The variety of drinks wasn't extensive, but the prices were reasonable and not high. The main fireworks were farther away than I expected, which was disappointing. I wouldn't recommend attending just for the purpose of watching the fireworks.

It was a memorable experience.

結婚式を兼ねた両家の家族旅行で参加しました。
日本人客は比較的少なく、海外に来た感が楽しめました。
天気が良かったのでワイキキの街を沖から見た風景やサンセットや夜景はとても綺麗で楽しめました。
ご飯は美味しいわけではありませんでした。
ドリンクの種類はさほど多くありませんが、料金は高くなく、良心的でした。
メインの花火は思っていたより遠くて、残念でした。花火を見る目的で参加するならばオススメしません。

思い出にはなりました。

Staff were very welcoming from the very start of the cruise and the night just got better. Great food and fantastic entertainment. The staff couldn’t do enough for you. Would totally recommend to everyone. Wonderful way to celebrate my birthday.

I was a bit confused trying to find the meeting place, but once I got on the boat, the staff were very kind, and I was able to enjoy my time with the international guests on board! The cocktail called Mai Tai was delicious, and the scenery was beautiful, making for a wonderful time!

集合場所を探すのに少し戸惑いましたが、船に乗ってからはスタッフの方々もとても親切で一緒の船に乗船したいた海外の方々とも楽しく過ごすことができました！マイタイと呼ばれるカクテルも美味しく、景色も綺麗で楽しいひと時でした！

The food was okay. The performance and fireworks were fun. I felt very full!!

The captain was a nice guy.
The boat was rocking a lot, so it's not suitable for small children.
There were children who were vomiting.
It's more for adults.

We had a great time on this cruise. the drinks were awesome and the crew knew what they were doing. They got us right in line for the Fireworks show. epic night and the bonus was a full moon. Highly recommended.

The sunset sail was very good, better than others I've done. Definitely wasn't live music and booking online doesn't allow for a kamaʻāina discount, once I got to the front desk I was told they did offer 25% but I couldn't get it since there wasn't a way to do it online.. 5 of us went so perhaps someone could figure that out on your end?
Otherwise the excursion itself was great even saw doplhins swim along the boat!

About 30 to 40 people were on board (I think there were three groups from Japan). Thanks to the favorable weather, we were able to see a truly wonderful sunset. However, the issue was with the response of the boarding staff from the previous year. Perhaps because they assume Japanese people can't speak English, they didn't approach us at all. On the other hand, they actively engaged with groups from other countries (like the mainland United States and Australia), checking on drinks and snacks. My group consisted of returnee students, so there was no problem with communication in English. It's really disappointing that the quality of service changed due to stereotypes.

天気に恵まれたおかげでしょうが、本当に素晴らしい夕焼けをみることができました。
ただ前年だったのは乗船スタッフの対応です。
日本人=英語ができない、と思っているからか当方には声をかけてくることはありませんでした。
その一方で他の国(アメリカ本土やオーストラリアなど)からの参加グループには積極的に声をかけ、飲み物の確認やスナックの確認があります。
私のグループは帰国子女グループだったので英語でのコミュニケーションにはまったく問題ありません。
そのため、ステレオタイプが原因でサービスの質が変わるのは本当に残念でした。

We had the most awesome time on Makani Catamaran! The views of the city are beautiful and give you a very different perspective of the city from the ocean.

The catamaran is well maintained, clean, and very stable on open waters. The best place to sit is up front near the trampolines as you head out towards Diamond Head.

Captain Brad, Adam, and Tommy were very personable, and made sure that all passengers were having a great time.

We highly recommend this sunset cruise. It is so relaxing and absolutely stunning!

My husband and I took this cruise last Friday night . It was the perfect way to end our stay in Maui. We were staying at a condo right next to the harbor where the boat departed, so super convenient for us. Some people were caught in a lot of traffic coming from Lahaina that night and, although the ship waited for a while still didn’t make it. This was unfortunate for those people because they missed out on a really great experience. It was good for us because there was only half the number of people aboard...more room to move around,. It was like a private excursion l The staff was top notch,super attentive, the entertainment wonderful.The crew puts on a hula show, the food and drinks were excellent. Had my Hawaii drink all night, lava flow. Sunsets and views amazing!!

I thought it was a bit early for sunset. There were fewer Japanese people and many Westerners, but the reservations were fully booked.

All the explanations were in English. Among the stylishly dressed young people, it felt like being in a scene from a movie. In reality, people of various ages were enjoying sailing. The staff was attentive to all the guests.

日本人は少なく欧米のかたが多いですが、予約は一杯でした。

説明は全て英語です。
華やかにおしゃれをした若者の中で、映画のワンシーンにいるかのようでした。実際には様々な年代の方がセーリングを楽しんでいました。スタッフも全てのお客さんに気を配っていました。

The staff was great they made sure your experience was good and always had a drink in hand you never went without one the entire time. Only problem was the water was alittle rough but they can't control that. Overall I would do again and I recommend anyone visiting and want to do a drinking cruise this is the one to go on.

What an amazing time we had on our sunset cruise that left right outside of our hotel (Hilton Hawaiian Village). The staff on the boat were incredibly friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with them as we sailed along. The drinks and snacks were great, and the best part of all were the breath-taking views, especially watching the sun set! We went with another couple with whom we were traveling, and we all put this activity toward the top of our list of memorable things we did while visiting.

We were the only Japanese people there. Hardly anyone spoke English. Suddenly, there was cheering and applause as everyone teased a man who arrived late. The man stylishly apologized, and even though the departure was delayed, it turned into a fun event! Last time I got seasick on a dinner cruise, so I was advised not to drink citrus beverages the day before to prevent seasickness, and I felt great!

突然、歓声と拍手がして、遅刻した男性を皆で茶化しました。
男性もカッコよくお詫びして、出航が遅れたのに、それすらも楽しいイベントになりました！。前回ディナークルーズで船酔いしたので船酔い防止に、前日から柑橘系の飲み物を取らない事を教えてもらったので体調もベストでした！

The cruise was a great experience and value. Super friendly crew!

It may have been due to the bad weather the day before, but there was more rocking than expected, and many people got seasick (myself included). I was enjoying the scenery while feeling the breeze outside, but I started to feel unwell and couldn't enjoy the drinks or food at all... Among the passengers, there was a woman who became seriously ill, and the yacht had to make an emergency U-turn before the fireworks started, and she was taken away by the waiting ambulance. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, and it was impressive how they handled the sick passenger with care. This was unavoidable, but in the end, we couldn't see the fireworks. There was an apology to all passengers for not being able to complete the tour, and they explained that negotiations for refunds and other compensations could be made, but there has been no contact since then. No one can be blamed, but I feel like I missed out. Even those who usually don't get seasick might want to take precautions just in case.

前日まで天候が悪かったからかもしれませんが、想定以上の揺れで、船酔い者多数でした（自分も含め）。外の風にあたりながら気持ちよく景色を楽しんでいたのですが、途中から気分が悪くなりお酒も食事も全く楽しめず…。中でも酷く体調を崩された女性がいて、花火が打ちあがる前にヨットは急遽Ｕターンし、待っていた救急車で運ばれていきました。スタッフは終始フレンドリーかつ気配りをされていて、急病者にも丁寧に対応をされていたのが印象的です。こればかりは仕方ないのですが、結局花火も見れずじまい。全乗客に対し、最後までツアーを行えなかったことに対する謝罪があり、返金等の対応も交渉できるという説明がありましたが、特にその後連絡はありません。誰も責められませんが、なんだか損をした気分です。普段船酔いしないという方も、念のため予防策はとっておいた方が良いかもしれません。

The sunset was gorgeous and service very good. Food was fine, entertainment ok.

Open bar good place to sit if you have to. Fun night out.

The staff the cruize alcohol everything is amazing we did it twice ! The only thing was it was so nice i would have take 30min more !!!

I have been interested in the boat that departs from the Sheraton, my regular accommodation, for a long time. I can't believe I can book it here! From what I've read about the experience, there are not many Japanese people on board. That was certainly true. There were only a few Japanese passengers during my trip. I couldn't understand the captain's talk, but I enjoyed chatting with a lady from New Zealand who sat next to me.

Also, I quickly changed the Mai Tai they handed out right after boarding to juice (since I can't have alcohol). The background music and the feeling of the wind were wonderful, and since we went quite far out, it was a graceful and lovely time. I even managed to communicate with the boys in a spot where the waves were quite rough, all with smiles (^^). I'm really glad I experienced this. I will definitely book it again next time!

以前から、定宿のシェラトン前から出ている船に興味がありました。それがこちらで予約できるなんて！
体験談を読むと日本人は少ないとのこと。確かに。
わたしの乗船も数えるほどの日本人でした。キャプテンのお話も理解できなかったけど、隣に座ったＮＺからのご婦人とお話をしたり楽しかったです。
あと乗船してすぐ配られたマイタイをすぐジュースにチェンジしてもらいました（アルコールがダメなので）。
ＢＧＭといい、感じる風といい、かなり沖まで出たので優雅で素敵な時間でした。
波しぶきが激しい場所にいた男子とも笑顔でなんとなく意思疎通（＾＾）
本当に体験して良かったです。
次回も必ず予約して乗ります！

Unlike the hot daytime, the cool breeze while swaying on the boat made the sunset and the night view of Waikiki incredibly beautiful. I was a bit nervous since there were hardly any Japanese people and everything was in English, but Captain DJ took care of us and spoke to us in broken Japanese. I thought there might not be a sunset cruise for just female friends, but it was incredibly pleasant, and I'm glad I went. It might have been better that it wasn't aimed at Japanese tourists, as it allowed me to really immerse myself in the travel experience.

By the way, the pickup service is only available from limited locations, so I recommend negotiating to be picked up only for the return trip.

暑い昼間と違って涼しい風が吹く中、船に揺られて海の上から見る夕陽とワイキキの夜景がとっても綺麗でした。日本人がほとんどいないし、英語のみの対応なので大丈夫かなと緊張してましたが、キャプテンDJがわたしたちを気にかけて片言の日本語で話しかけてくれました。女友達同士でサンセットクルーズもないかなーと思いつつ参加しましたが、最高に気持ちよく、行って良かったです。かえって日本人向けじゃなくて、旅気分に浸れて良かったかも。
ちなみにピックアップサービスは限られた場所のみなので、帰りだけ乗せてもらうように交渉するのがおすすめです。

When I arrived at the meeting place on the reserved day, I was informed that only two groups were there and that we couldn't go out due to high waves. It was rescheduled for the next day. I wish they had contacted me in advance; it felt like a waste of the time I had prepared, so I gave it four stars.

The next day, more than six groups participated, and we set sail. The yacht was beautiful. The captain spoke a little Japanese and was considerate towards us; he was a kind person. The weather was great, and it felt wonderful and beautiful.

Although it was stated that only soft drinks would be provided, they served canned beer and wine, and there were fewer options for soft drinks.

予約した日に待ち合わせ場所に行くと、2組だけで今日は波が高いから行けないとの事。翌日に変更された。
できれば事前に連絡くれたら良かったのにと、色々と切り上げて、準備した時間が無駄になったので星4個に。
翌日は6組以上が参加して出航。綺麗なヨットだった。キャプテンは少し日本語が出来て、私達にも気を使ってくれて、優しい人だった。とてもいい天気で気持ちよかったし、綺麗だった。
ソフトドリンクと書いてあったが、缶ビールやワインなどアルコールが提供されて、ソフトドリンクの方が種類が少なかった。

At this time of year, you can't see the sunset from Waikiki Beach, so I signed up for this plan. Sailing while drinking a Mai Tai felt great.

It was a fireworks day, so we went sailing late in the evening. We enjoyed unlimited drinks while taking in the beautiful sunset views, stunning night scenery, and fireworks.

花火の日だったので、遅い時間のセーリングでした。夕暮れの景色から、美しい夜景、花火までお酒飲み放題で楽しむことができました。

Very entertaining crew, worth the money! Would definitely recommend.

This was an amazing experience! I went with a group of friends and we all loved the environment of the cruise ship. The food was pretty amazing and the live jazz performance was very enjoyable. My favorite was definitely the Polynesian live dance performance. This 30-minute performance was the highlight of the night. The dancers wouldn't just perform, they would interact with the audience by giving high fives, springing peace signs at unexpected times and made our corner of the ship laugh the entire time. If you get seasick easily, I would recommend taking some kind of precaution/medication (the servers were able to provide some medication, too) since a few of my friends did start feeling queasy for a little bit and had to spend some time on the lower deck. However, don't let motion sickness keep you from the cruise! It was still altogether wonderful time.
