I signed up on the recommendation of a friend. Since it was a trip that included a Friday, I chose a day with fireworks.
We took a taxi from the hotel. The taxi driver checked the address and dropped us off about 300 meters before the actual location, so I was a bit worried if we were in the right place. However, the meeting point from the app's map was indeed correct.

Our family was the only Japanese participants; the rest were international travelers. Japanese was not understood.

They offered assistance when boarding and disembarking. It got quite chilly after the sun went down, and I regretted not changing out of my shorts.

The captain and crew were cheerful and engaged with us, and there was always fun music playing. It was unfortunate that we couldn't see the sunset because it was cloudy that day. However, I was moved by the changing colors of the sky and the scenery. The fireworks at 19:45 were wonderful, and everyone was excited.

友人に勧められて申込みました。金曜を挟む旅行だったので、花火のある日にしました。
ホテルからタクシーで移動しました。タクシー運転手さんが住所で調べて降ろしてくれたところが、300メートルくらい手前だったので場所が本当にあっているか不安でした。が、アプリからの地図の場所で集合は正しかったです。

日本人参加は私達家族のみであとは海外の旅行者でした。日本語は通じなかったです。

乗船する時と下船する時は、手を貸してくれました。
日が沈むと随分肌寒かったので、下は短パンをやめておけば良かったくらいでした。

キャプテンやクルーが陽気で声を掛けてくれて、楽しい音楽も常にかかっていました。
その日曇っていたので、サンセットが見られなかったのは残念でした。でも移りゆく空の色や景色に感動。そして19:45〜の花火はとても素敵で、みんな盛り上がっていました。

There were mostly Japanese groups. We were the only group of individual applicants, and I was worried about whether we would see whales. There were many announcements in Japanese, and we were able to see whales several times right next to the boat. Even dolphins came close to the boat. I am very satisfied.

日本人は、団体ばかり。個人申込の日本人グループは自分たちだけ、クジラも会えるか心配でした。
日本語の案内も多く、クジラも何度も船のそばで見る事ができました。イルカまで船の近くまでやって来ました。大満足です。

We were overly impressed with the dinner cruise and had so much fun!!
It was nice to experience the dancing and music of several Polynesian islands. The sunset was amazing and the night view of Waikiki and Honolulu was pristine. So glad we decided to do this to celebrate our 37th anniversary!

In early March, we participated in a sunset cruise departing from the beach right in front of the Waikoloa Beach Marriott. We were the only Japanese guests, but the cruise included simple snacks and two drinks with alcohol.

The female captain announced that we might see dolphins and whales today, so everyone focused on searching for them while enjoying the scenery. Soon, one person spotted a sea turtle, and just as we were excited about that, the captain informed us that a pod of dolphins was nearby, prompting all the passengers to start watching. Then we spotted a whale! Everyone got really excited, sharing sightings of dolphins and whales, and the first half of the cruise was filled with excitement over dolphin and whale watching rather than just enjoying the views.

In the second half, we enjoyed the stunning Waikoloa sunset accompanied by slow Hawaiian music, making it a very satisfying sunset cruise.

３月初めに宿泊先のワイコロアビーチマリオットの目の前のビーチから出発のサンセットクルーズに参加しました。日本人は私たち夫婦だけでしたが簡単なおつまみとアルコールを含む2ドリンクつき。

女性キャプテンからのアナウンスで今日はイルカや鯨も見えるかもとのことで皆景色を楽しみながらもそれらを探すのに集中。
すぐに一人がウミガメを発見し、喜んでいると今度はキャプテンからイルカの群れがすぐ近くにの見えるとのお知らせに乗客皆でウォッチング^_^
そして今度は鯨を発見！
皆さん、ハイテンションになり、あちこちに見えるイルカや鯨を発見しては教え合い、前半は景色を楽しむよりイルカ&ホエルウォッチングで大盛り上がりでした。

後半はスローなハワイアンミュージックをバックに素晴らしいワイコロアのサンセットが見られ大満足のサンセットクルーズでした。

Our last day in Oahu and we took a sunset cruise on the catamaran, the staff was fun and friendly, the boat was clean and we had a blast, my wife and I had gotten married in Oahu February 29th 2020 and this was the perfect end to our trip to the island

Would highly recommend!!!

Well run, staff are to be commended. Ceremony with Captain was terrific.
Food, seating, boat ride and fire works are all beyond positive words. Well worth the money and we both had a great time. We will repeat this experience next year as we return to your beautiful Island & Home.

I had a great time interacting with people from various countries and participating in the anniversary event. The sunset was very beautiful.

I had a lot of fun. However, I didn't understand English very well, so I wasn't sure about the types of drinks and couldn't drink much. It was quite shaky, so I got pretty seasick at first... But the view was really great!

とても楽しかったです。
けど、英語があまり分からなかったってのもありますが飲み物の種類がよく分からずあまり飲めませんでした。
かなり、揺れるので初めはかなり酔いました…
見える景色はとても良かったです！

My first whale watching experience was wonderful as I got to see a mother and calf whale. I thought we might be able to see them a bit closer, but I understand that it’s a matter of the whales' safety. The boat was large. Since it was a plan without meals, those who had breakfast included were enjoying a buffet before departure. It would be better for those without meals to eat beforehand. I didn't expect to see whales so close to Honolulu; the view of Honolulu from the sea was also very beautiful. Not only the whales, but I could also see Diamond Head beautifully from the ocean. It was a very elegant cruise.

初のホエールウォッチングで、親子の鯨が見れてとても良かった。もう少し近くで見れるかと思った。鯨の安全性の問題なので仕方ないと思った。船は大きい船だった。食事なしのプランだったので、朝食付きの人は出港前にブッフェを食べていた。食事なしの人はご飯を食べていった方が良い。ホノルルからこんなに近いところで見れるとは思わなかった、海から見るホノルルもとても景色が良かった。鯨だけでなく、ダイヤモンドヘッドも綺麗に海から見れた。とても優雅なクルーズだった。

It was my travel companion's husband's long-awaited whale watching experience, and we participated with a light-hearted attitude, thinking it would be lucky if we got to see any whales.

Although it was a large boat and we couldn't get too close, we were able to see whales jumping about three times at a distance that was clear enough to observe with the naked eye. I thought it would have been nice to have binoculars.

同行者の夫念願のホェールウォッチングでしたが、見ることが出来たらラッキーだね。くらいの軽い気持ちでの参加でしたが、

大型船なのですぐ近くとは行きませんが充分肉眼で確認できるほどの距離でのジャンプを3度ほど見ることが出来ました。
双眼鏡を持っていたら良かったかなと思いました。

I saw whales in the distance about three times. I was a bit disappointed that I didn't see them as much as I had hoped, but on the way back, a large group of dolphins came close to us. They jumped a lot, and just the dolphins alone were very enjoyable to watch! It was a great deal that one child was free with the campaign.

クジラは遠くに3回ほど見えました。
思ったより見られなくて残念でしたが帰りにイルカの大群が近くに来てくれました。
たくさんジャンプしてくれてイルカだけでも充分見応えありました！
キャンペーンで子供1人無料だったのがとてもお得でした。

I was worried about seasickness, so I thought a larger boat would be safer and decided to join this tour.

● Transportation
★ The pickup was by a larger bus, gathering at a nearby hotel.
★ On the way back, I was able to get dropped off at Ala Moana.

⚫︎ Meals
★ I hesitated about including breakfast, thinking that the food on the boat might make me feel sick, so I decided against it.
★ Many people opted for breakfast, and everyone was eating before the boat started moving.
★ Since there was time before departure, it was possible to eat if you brought your own food.

⚫︎ Whales
★ As for the whales, we saw them!! However, we couldn't see them very closely.
We could see them spouting water and their tails from a distance.
★ On the way back, a pod of dolphins appeared, and we were able to see them up close, which was very satisfying!

船酔いが心配だったので、こちらの大きめの船なら安心かなっと思いこちらのツアーに参加しました。

●送迎
★送迎は大きめのバスで近くのホテルに集合でした。
★帰りはアラモアナで降ろしてもらう事も出来ました。

⚫︎食事
★朝食付きか迷いましたが、船の中の食事は気持ち悪くなるかも、、と思いやめておきました。
★朝食付きにしてる方は多く、船が動き出す前に皆さん食事をとられていました。
★持参しても出発まで時間もあるし食べる事は可能です

⚫︎くじら
★肝心のクジラは、、見れました！！ただやはりそんなに近くではなかなか見れなかったです。
潮をふいているのと、しっぽが遠くですが、みえました。
★帰りにイルカの群れが現れてくれてそちらは至近距離で見られたので大満足です！

I participated in this tour at the end of 2019 with my 2-year-old child. The view of the cityscape from the venue, Diamond Head, and the sunset—all of them are etched in my memory and became the best memories. The crew really energized the atmosphere, and I felt pleasantly tipsy; it was such a satisfying tour that I would love to join again!

2歳になる子を連れて2019年の年末にこのツアーに参加しました。
会場から眺める街並み、ダイヤモンドヘッド、そしてサンセット。
どれも目に焼き付いて最高の思い出となりました。
クルーの皆さんが場を盛り上げてくれて、ほろ酔い気分にもなれるし、また参加したいなぁと思える大満足なツアーでした！

The sunset was very beautiful! The wind was quite strong, and it got cold as the sun began to set. I think a jacket is necessary.

サンセットがとても綺麗でした！
風がかなり強く、日が沈みだすと寒かったです。上着は必要だと思います。

It was very relaxing and fun, would book again in the future!

I didn't have high expectations, but it was very pleasant and the scenery was beautiful. When a whale is spotted, they announce it and let you know where it is, so if you keep an eye out, you might see a mother and her calf quite close by. It was quite moving. It felt like time stood still, and it was very healing. I want to participate again, but my husband seemed to struggle with seasickness, so for those worried about seasickness, it's better to take medication in advance to enjoy it more. Definitely give it a try!

余り期待はしてなかったのですが、とても気持ちが良く、景色も良かったです。
クジラが見えたら放送がかかり、どの辺りにいるって教えてもらえるので、ずっと見張ってると親子かな？結構近くにいてみれました。
何か感動～
時間が止まってるかのようで癒されました。
又参加したいけど、旦那が船酔いしてしんどそうで、船酔いの心配の人は薬を飲んでおいた方が楽しめます。

I wanted to show my daughter whales up close, so I signed up for a tour. On the day of the tour, there was rain and wind, and the sea was rough. It was a relatively large boat, but it was very rocky, and I got seasick. My daughter was so sick that she couldn't leave the restroom, so we didn't get to see any whales. I also got seasick, but I managed to see some whales, although I only caught a glimpse of their tails a few times. Depending on the season and weather, I wouldn't recommend this for people who are not good on boats.

娘にクジラを近くで見せてあげたいと思い、ツアーに申込みました。当日は雨風があり海は荒れ模様。
比較的大きな船でしたが、非常に揺れて船酔いが。。
娘はひどくてトイレから出てこれずクジラどころではありませんでした。私自身も船酔いしましたが、何とかクジラを見ました。けれど尾っぽが数回見れたくらいでした。時期や天候にもよりますが、船が苦手な人には勧められません。

We had a wonderful trip, saw whales, and .... manta rays coming and going! Knowledgeable captain and marine biologist made this an informative and exciting experience. Thank you!

I took a cruise from Hilton Village for the first time, and it was affordable with great content, so I decided to book it. We anchored off Waikiki, were provided with life jackets, and had a wonderful time enjoying the sea! The experience was unique compared to other cruises, and the crew was friendly and fantastic! I would definitely recommend it to others going there.

ヒルトンビレッジの側から出ているクルーズは初めてでしたが、価格も安くて、内容も良かったので申し込みました。
ワイキキ沖で、停泊してライフジャケットも貸してもらい、海で楽しむ事ができて楽しかったです！
他のクルーズにはない内容で、クルーも親切で最高でした！
また、行く人におすすめしたいです。

I really enjoyed the cruise. Even though the water was a little bumpy, the captain calmly maintained the even-ness of the boat. The crew were very attentive and were consistently checking in with all the passengers how they were doing. I really enjoyed the ability to sit on the "roof" and enjoy the water from higher up.

In February, I went with nine family members. Everyone was very satisfied, and it became a wonderful memory.

Before boarding, there is a group photo session (you can purchase a photo for 2000 yen after disembarking). Sailing in the pleasant breeze was very enjoyable, and the scenery was fantastic! We were able to see not only the sunset but also whales. I highly recommend it!

2月に親族9人で行きました。
全員大満足で、良い思い出になりました。

乗船前にはグループで記念撮影があります。（下船後、1枚2000円で購入することが出来ます。）
心地よい風の中のセーリングは大変気持ちよく、
景色も最高でした！サンセットだけでなく、鯨を見る事もできました。
おすすめです！

It lasted about an hour, but I was able to see the whales jump and spout (multiple times) without any issues!

The announcements were mainly in English, but there were also explanations in Japanese, so there were no problems.

It was the simplest plan without pick-up or breakfast, but the boarding time was also about two hours, which was not a problem. I was able to arrive smoothly from Waikiki using The Bus.

Points to note:
- The waves were quite high, and the boat rocked a lot. Be cautious of seasickness.
- Inside the cabin, the air conditioning was too strong, and outside it was windy and quite cold. A jacket is essential.
- The boat is relatively old and not very clean. There were areas that smelled a bit like garbage, possibly due to the food being served.

1時間程度でしたが、無事、鯨のジャンプと潮吹き（何度も）見ることができました！

基本的には英語のアナウンスですが日本語の解説もあり問題ありません。

送迎なし、朝食ナシの一番シンプルなプランでしたが、乗船時間も2時間程度と短く、特に問題ありません。
ワイキキからもThe Busで滞りなく到着できました。

注意点は・・
・かなり波が高く船はかなり揺れます。船酔い注意。
・船上はキャビン内はクーラーが効きすぎ、外は風が強くかなり冷えます。はおりモノは必須
・船は割と古く、それほどキレイではありません。食事が出るせいもあるか生ごみっぽいにおいがするエリアもあった

I boarded the boat thinking I would be lucky to see even one whale, but I was thrilled to see three whales swimming together and dolphins up close multiple times! I could clearly hear the sound of them blowing water, and it was a wonderful experience of nature. The whale watching was fantastic, but one thing that concerned me was the loud construction noise inside the boat, which made it difficult to hear the naturalist's announcements and music. It would have been even better if there had been consideration for that.

一回でもみれたらラッキーと思いながら乗船しましたが、3匹のくじらが仲良く泳いでいる姿やイルカも近くで何回も見れてとても良かったです！潮を吹く時の音などもはっきり聞こえ、自然を体感できました。ホエールウォッチングとしては素晴らしかったのですが、一つ気になったのは船内での工事の音が大きく、ナチュラリストさんのアナウンスや音楽が聞こえにくかったりしたので、そこの配慮があったらなお良かったです。

This is my second time participating. This time I brought my 1-year-old and 8-year-old children, and the staff were very kind, and all the passengers were nice people.

2回目の参加です。今回は1歳と8歳の子供連れでしたが、スタッフの対応が親切でしたし、乗客の皆さんも良い人ばかりでした。

I do not understand English, but both elderly and young people can enjoy sunset and drinking. It became a good memory of Hawaii. Thank you!

We participated as a family of four. For those who couldn't drink alcohol, there were soft drinks available. At first, we were served a drink made with juice and gin (?), and then we could refill our drinks; our family finished a bottle of champagne. Just as we started to feel the effects of the alcohol, the sunset was beautiful, and it felt wonderful. However, the boat rocked quite a bit, so it might be tough for those who get seasick, and food was not allowed, so we were just drinking. On that day, we were the only Japanese people, but everyone was friendly, and we had a great time.

家族4人で参加しました。アルコールが飲めない人はソフトドリンクもありました。最初にジュースとジン（？）を割ったお酒が配られ、あとはお代わりをするシステムで我が家はシャンパンを一本飲み干しました。
丁度、お酒の酔いが回ったぐらいで夕日が沈み、とても気分が良かったです。
ただ、結構揺れるので、船酔いする方は厳しいのと、フードはＮＧなのでひたすら飲んでいました。
この日は日本人は私たちだけでしたが、みなさんフレンドリーで楽しめました。

The weather was perfect, and I was moved by all the scenery. I was told that if things went well, I might see a whale, but I didn't get my hopes up. However, whales appeared! They jumped several times, which was also moving. The passengers on the boat cheered loudly. And then, the sunset—absolutely stunning. I recorded videos of the whales and the sunset. Even after returning home, it was amazing!

One slight disappointment was that although they mentioned light snacks, there were only some snack foods in paper cups. The rest was just conversation... This was our fault, but I was disappointed that I couldn't understand the crew's fun talk. Because of these two points, I couldn't say it was "the best!" I apologize for that.

That said, it was a series of moving experiences. I am grateful.

天候に恵まれすべての景色に感動。
うまくいけば鯨を見れるかも！と言われていたが、期待しないでいました。
が、鯨出没。何度もジャンプしてくれました。これまた感動。船上では乗客が大歓声。
そして、サンセット。　これまた最高。
鯨・サンセット　動画で撮影しましたよ。　
帰宅後見ても、最高！！

ちょいと残念なのが、軽食とあるが紙コップの中にスナック菓子があるだけ。
あとは会話が・・・
これは我々のせいですが、クルーの楽しそうなトークが理解出来ず残念。
この2点があった為『最高でした！』が押せませんでした。申し訳ありません。

とは言え、感動の連続。感謝しております。

I realized last year that I had never done a sunset cruise while in Hawaii on past trips. After booking one for the first time last year it will always be on the list of things to do, whales or not. It is so beautiful and peaceful.

I'm glad I went! The sunset sinking into the ocean in Hawaii was amazing. I didn't plan to drink, but the staff kept making Mai Tais and handed them to me forcefully. (laughs) Among a few Asian couples, including my husband and me, the staff was very energetic and explained everything in English, but everyone was friendly and it felt very cheerful. Other guests were the same. During the cruise, they played music continuously, making it quite lively during the sunset moment. I ended up buying the photo taken before boarding. It was a pretty good picture with the boat and Diamond Head in the background.

乗ってよかった！ハワイの海にしずむサンセットは最高でした。
飲まないつもりでしたがスタッフがマイタイ？をガンガン作って強引に渡されました。笑　私たち夫婦含めアジア系は数組ほどの中、スタッフのテンション高い説明も英語のみですが、みなフレンドリー、和気あいあいという感じ。他のお客さんも。航行中はサンセットの瞬間もずっと音楽かけっぱなし、やたら賑やかです。
乗船前に撮られた写真、買ってしまいました。船とダイヤモンドヘッドをバックにした、けっこういい写真だったので。
