Since we had no plans this time, I thought I’d join in to see the fireworks on Friday night. Although we couldn't catch the sunset, we thoroughly enjoyed the fireworks. With all-you-can-drink options and the chance to enjoy the night view, I think it’s a great way to participate casually. Since it was the end of September, there were only us and one other group of Japanese people. The staff were friendly, and it was nice to enjoy a cheerful Hawaiian night.

今回は何も予定なしだったので、金曜の夜の花火でも見ようかなーと参加してみました。時間的にサンセットは見られませんが花火は堪能できました。飲み放題だし、夜景観賞できるし気軽に参加できていいと思います。9月末ということもあって日本人は私たちとプラス1組だけ。スタッフの方たちは感じいいし、ハワイの陽気な夜を楽しめていいかと思います。

I participated in an afternoon sailing trip. The meeting point was unclear, and I finally found a staff member in an orange shirt after asking a nearby attendant.

Many reviews mentioned "getting splashed" and "seeing sea turtles," but in reality, it was a very calm sailing experience. We were the only Japanese participants, while the other passengers seemed to be enjoying themselves in swimsuits with drinks. Unfortunately, we didn't see any sea turtles or dolphins, but I enjoyed chatting with the other passengers I met for the first time. Although I was a bit seasick, it was a fun sailing experience, and those who are prone to motion sickness should be cautious.

午後のセーリングに参加しました。
集合場所が曖昧で、近くの係員に聞いてようやくオレンジ色の服を着た係員を見つけることができました。

体験談には「水しぶきがかかる」「ウミガメが見れる」との投稿が多くありましたが、実際には非常に穏やかなセーリングでした。
参加者は我々のみ日本人で、他の乗客は水着でお酒を飲んで楽しむ、という感じでした。
残念ながらウミガメもイルカも見れませんでしたが、初対面の乗客との話を楽しむことができ、日焼けが気になりますが楽しいセーリングでした。
若干船酔いしたので、乗り物酔いしやすい人は注意した方が良さそうです。

The fireworks lasted about 10 minutes, and after that, we were just on the boat looking at the dark sea. It might have been nice if we could enjoy the coastline and the sunset, but I can't recommend a cruise after sunset. My mother even said, "What was that thing yesterday?" which made me feel really bad since I was the one who arranged it (^^;;).

花火は１０分位で終わり、あとは暗い海を眺めながら船に乗っている状態。 海岸線や夕陽を楽しめる時間帯なら良かったかもしれませんが、日没後のクルーズはおすすめできません。
母からも、昨日のアレは何だったの？ と酷い言われようで、手配した私は立つ瀬が無かったです(^^;;

It was a nice dinner cruise. Entertainer was beautiful. Just wish we had air conditioning, it was hot.

I had high expectations because of the great reviews, but it was fairly average. The Mai Tai was delicious. It was quite rocky, and there were a few people who got seasick.

The sunset is of course breathtaking, it was amazing to see Oahu island at dusk, and the crew is fun and engaging. I would love to do it again.

A really great evening with a wonderful sunset and great views of Waikiki and Diamond Head. Crew were excellent and fun. Would definitely recommend and will be doing again when in Honolulu

Aside from us, there was only one Japanese family, and everyone else was from overseas. I usually find optional tours filled with Japanese people to be less enjoyable, but here, I was able to have a great time drinking while watching a beautiful sunset with people from other countries. I was so satisfied with the tour that I think I would like to use it again the next time I come to Hawaii.

私達の他に日本人は一家族だけで他は皆さん海外のの方でした。
日本人だらけのオプショナルツアーは旅行感が薄れて苦手なのですが、こちらはそれがなく海外の方ととても楽しく綺麗な夕日を見ながらお酒を飲む事が出来ました。
また次回ハワイに来た際はまた利用しようかなと思うくらい満足出来たツアーでした。

This time, I participated with a friend. Last time, it was a cruise to see the fireworks, but this time we were able to enjoy the view of Waikiki from the sea while it was still light out, which was wonderful. It was a bit loud because we were right behind the speakers, but overall, I am very satisfied.

今回は友人と2人で参加しました。
前回は花火を見るクルージングでしたが、今回は明るいうちからワイキキの景色を海から眺める事が出来とても素晴らしかったです。
スピーカーのすぐ後ろだった為少々うるさかったですが全体的にとても満足しています。

Took 5 members of family from 10-74 years old living in Hawaii, Australia and Oregon. Everyone had a nice time. We saw some flying fish, great views of Diamond Head and Waikiki, the staff was easy going and fun. We all wished the boat was closer to the water like some sailboats and under full sail and not motoring. All in all a good value.

I signed up early for this popular tour because I couldn't join last time due to it being fully booked. As expected, it was a fun cruise with a stunning sunset. There were a few Japanese passengers on board, but the atmosphere was bright and lively thanks to the Western guests. Seeing Diamond Head illuminated by the sunset from the sea is a rare experience, so I believe it's worth it. I tend to get seasick, but despite the waves, I was able to enjoy the cruise without feeling unwell. I would love to participate again.

人気のツアーで、以前申し込んだ時は満席で乗ることが出来なかったため、リベンジで早めに申し込みをしました。期待通り、最高の夕日を見ながらの楽しいクルーズでした。日本人も何組か同乗していましたが、欧米の方々のノリが良く、雰囲気も明るく良かったと思います。夕日に照らされたダイヤモンドヘッドを海側から見ることはなかなか出来ないので、乗る価値があると思います。船酔いしやすいのですが、波で揺れたものの、気分が悪くなることなく楽しむことが出来ました。また参加したいです。

My family enjoyed the dinner cruise. The Staff were so accommodating to change the menu to their guests preference. I learned a lot which side I should wear my flower. The entertainment is awesome, complete with the proper attire to educate the guests about the Hawaiian tradition, I will highly recommend this dinner cruise to anyone visiting Hawaii .Thanks to Emily of Veltra for helping me book the Star of Honolulu Sunset Dinner Cruise.

What a great experience! The crew was so interactive with everyone made everyone feel right at home! The view of the fire works was amazing! This is a must!

We sailed smoothly off the coast of Waikiki on a catamaran, enjoying the wind. While sipping on a Mai Tai made by a female crew member with a large tattoo, we waited for the sunset. When the sun finally dipped below the horizon, applause erupted all around us.

まさに順風満帆でワイキキ沖をカタマランで風に乗って進みました。肥大半身TATOOの女性クルーが作ってくれたマイタイを飲みながらサンセットを待ちました。太陽が水平線に沈んみきった時には、一斉に拍手が沸き上がりました。

We took the cruise for my daughter's birthday and she said it was her best birthday ever. The music set the mood for a really fun night. The drinks were great and definitely not watered down! The food was really good and plenty of it! It was the most beautiful sunset I've ever seen. The staff was super friendly and fun. The fireworks at the end of the night was a perfect way to end an amazing evening. I wouldn't think twice about booking this again on our next visit to Hawaii, it was the highlight of our trip! Thank you!

I made a reservation to see the Hilton fireworks from the sea. The fireworks were wonderful, but the night view of Waikiki was amazing❣️ The drinks were all-you-can-drink❣️ It was a lot of fun. By the way, there were only my family and a couple of friends who are Japanese; there were no small children.

Great food and drinks and view of Maui sunset. Crew was great.

My wife and I were stoked when the boat beached onto shore. It was funny initially watching folks coming off the last ride bc the waves rocked the boat and splashed onto them. But it's expected, it was fun nonetheless. We did the Fireworks ride and it was just AWESOME!!! To watch it from the ocean is definitely something everyone should experience. We'd totally do it again!

During my 7-day stay in Hawaii, I arranged various optional tours, but the sunset dinner cruise was the most memorable. The boat is a slightly larger catamaran yacht, so there was hardly any rocking, allowing us to enjoy the sunset in a calm atmosphere. In Hawaii, there are many Japanese tourists everywhere, and while there are tours with a 100% participation rate of Japanese people, this tour had a lower percentage of Japanese guests, which made it enjoyable to converse with multilingual tourists in English.

However, there are a couple of downsides:
1. Although it's called a buffet, it's not an all-you-can-eat experience. For example, there are restrictions like "two pieces per person." It means you can eat what you like, but only in specified quantities. Japanese people might associate buffet with all-you-can-eat, so this is something to be aware of.
2. At the check-in counter, Westerners were allowed to check in before the designated time, while Japanese guests were told to "wait until the time," which felt discriminatory. After persistent negotiation, I was finally allowed to check in, but for Japanese guests with limited English skills, they might end up feeling helpless. Since boarding is done in the order of check-in, securing your spot is very important.

7日間のハワイ滞在で、いろいろなオプショナルターを組みましたが、その中でもこのサンセット・ディナークルーズが一番の記念になりました。船はすこし大きめのカタマランヨットですので、ほとんど揺れがなく落ち着いてサンセットが楽しめました。ハワイはどこに行っても日本人が多く、参加率100％日本人のツアーもある中、このツアーは日本人率が低く、多言語の観光客と（英語で）お話をすることもできて楽しめます。

難点は、
①ビュフェとありますが、いわゆる食べ放題ではありません。たとえば「これは一人二個まで」などの制限があります。「好きなものを決まった分量まで食べてよいですよ」という意味です。日本人はビュフェ＝食べ放題というイメージでしょうから注意が必要です。
②チェックインカウンターでは、西洋人はチェックイン開始時間前に受付していながら、日本人は「時間までまて」と差別を受けました。しつこく交渉してやっと受付てもらえましたが、英語力のない日本人だと泣き寝入りでしょう。受付順に乗船して席を確保しますので、受付順は非常に重要です。

The boat is a bit smaller, so it gets some waves and splashes! It was the perfect cruise for someone like me who loves that kind of adventure. It was a cocktail cruise, but since beer was also all-you-can-drink, it's great for those who aren't fond of sweet cocktails.

船がやや小さめですので、波を受け水しぶきを受けます！そんなアドベンチャーが好きな私にはぴったりのクルーズでした。カクテルクルーズでしたが、ビールも飲み放題ですから甘いカクテルが苦手な方にも最適ですよ

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our cruise. It's great to see Waikiki from this vantage point. The Skipper and crew were excellent, they really make the experience an enjoyable one..
There was no skimping on drinks either.

The fireworks display every Friday in Waikiki was incredibly beautiful, and we were able to see it from the ocean! It was great that drinks were unlimited as well. However, unlike other optional tours, there were mostly foreigners, and the guide didn't speak much Japanese. Since it can be quite windy, I recommend bringing a light jacket. Also, when getting on the boat, you go barefoot and your toes can get wet, so sandals are a good choice.

ワイキキで毎週金曜に打ち上げ花火があがり、それを海の上から見ることができたのはすごく綺麗でした！飲み物も生放題なのも良かったです。しかし、他のオプショナルツアーと違い外国人がほとんどで、案内の方もあまり日本語が通じなかったです。なかなか風があるので、一枚羽織るのをお勧めします。あと、船に乗るときに裸足になり、つま先が濡れるので、サンダルがいいです。

There were quite a few waves, and it was a bit rocky, but the wind felt nice, and the sunset view of Waikiki was amazing! The Mai Tai was delicious too!

結構波があって揺れましたが、風が気持ち良く、サンセット、ワイキキの景色か最高でした！マイタイも美味しかったです！

It was a wonderful cruise where I could enjoy the Hilton fireworks from the ocean with a Mai Tai in hand on a Friday night in Honolulu. After the fireworks, I was able to enjoy the night view, starry sky, and drinks, which felt luxurious.

When getting on and off the boat, the waves can splash up to about my shins, so I recommend wearing clothes that you don't mind getting wet.

ホノルルの金曜の夜のお楽しみ、ヒルトンの花火を洋上からマイタイ片手に観ることができるステキなクルーズでした。花火の後も夜景と星空とお酒を楽しめて贅沢な気分。
乗り降りのときにひざ下くらいまでは波で濡れるので濡れてもいい服がオススメです。

The reception and time management were a bit lacking in the Honolulu style, but the event itself was great. We were able to create a sense of camaraderie on the boat and share the value of a beautiful sunset.

受付、時間管理はホノルル流でずさんだが、イベント自体は良かった。
船上での連帯感もできて素敵なサンセットの価値を共有できた。
