This is our second Sunset Cruise and we had a wonderful time. Service and Entertainment was outstanding. Food was average, and uneventful. We are not fans of meat cooked rare and would have liked to had the meat cooked to our liking. We look forward to taking this dinner cruise again, when we are in Honolulu.

i wish i was in hawaii for valentines again this year so i could go again XD

We moved here this summer and when my parents told us they were coming to visit again, I knew we had to do something special. And this was it! We had 6 adults and 5 kids between the ages of 7 and 11. The kids stole the show - they danced the whole time! It did not matter that there was drinking going on - the kids had a blast! How could they not? And of course we joined them in the dancing when the music got pumped up. Starting out with

The scenery was obviously beautiful and the crew seemed very knowledgable and capable. However, I have not been on a cruise like this before and conduct of other passengers and comments by crew about drinking and such were inappropriate in the presence of children. The enviroment was definitely not a family one. I was disappointed because my children did not enjoy it like I thought they would because they felt uncomfortable.

Food was good and wonderful views from the top deck...music to be serenaded by in the back ground was quite nice as well. One thing we noticed is there were some empty tables and they could have spaced the couples out a little more to fill the tables and to give a more private setting for some couples to be a little more private with each other. They could have also sailed up or down the coast a little instead of just coasting around Lihania might made for some nice scenery sightings as well...but overall it's worth it !!!!

Booked this sailing sunset cruise for myself and my beautiful wife. We have done sailing sunset cruises before in Mexico so knew what to expect and initial indications were this would be pretty standard fare for what we've experienced. However, the desire was to be able to appreciate a couple hours sailing while appreciating a beautiful sunset. We weren't looking for anything grandiose. But, we were impressed by the all male staff not being over-the-top on trying to "cheese" up the cruise but were good to let the experience of the sunset be the excitement for the guests. However, about 40 minutes into the cruise the captain asked loudly if we wanted to see dolphins. He immediately swung the boat toward a school of Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins and we were fortunate to spend the next 10-15 minutes sailing along with them playing all around the boat including swimming and playing in the wake at the bow of the boat. There was a school of 50+ dolphins all around us. What an amazing exper

It was great to interact with many people who were not Japanese (about 1 Japanese to 4 non-Japanese). It was refreshing since Hawaii is usually filled with Japanese tourists (laughs). The crew members were all kind and treated us well.
While a dinner cruise on a large ship is nice, I think a smaller, more relaxed cruise is also good.
However, the food (especially the meat) ran out quickly, so I couldn't eat as much as I wanted...

Being on the boat was a fun experience (not recommended if you get sea sick as the waves can get very big which makes for a bumpy but fun ride!) and the views of The Na Pali were amazing. Great crew too which made the trip more enjoyable - lots of interesting stories and very welcoming! The food was well prepared and had a good variety too - very tasty! We actually went on two sailing trips in Waikiki with two different companies and although both were very good this one was better. The space on the boat was very roomie and the drinks were awesome - we just stuck to the specialty drink, but they offered beer and wine also. The music was one of the best parts - old school - jawaiian - reggae and the vibe was extremely relaxing!!! As the drinks continued to pour our group got real friendly waving and cheering to passing boats ... we were obviously having much more fun. Writing this I miss it and would definitely recommend this to everyone! Bottoms up!

My mom has never gone sailing before, so what an absolute treat this was to bring her on a Sunset Sail with me and my daughter. We enjoyed every single minute of it. It wasn't one of those Booze Cruises where everyone is loud and getting their fill of free booze, this one I was able to relax with my daughter, enjoy a drink and watch the sunset.
The crew mates were so friendly, drinks were top notch, and the Spirit of Aloha is in great shape to handle the open sea!
I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good and simple sunset cocktail sail!

My trip to Oahu was for my honey moon. Everything was amazing! After 2 weeks of tours, hikes, shopping, snorkeling & beach fun in the sun-we needed something quiet & romantic. So our last night on this beautiful island was spent on board the Navatek Sunset Dinner Cruise. I chose this cruise line because I am easily motion sick & was told the build of this ship helped prevent a lot of the swaying you experience. It was great! Food was good-hawaiian pork, chicken teriyaki, potatoes & veggies(you want fancy-up grade),drinks were yum-decently priced. The crew was very nice! The most important part of the ship was the observation decks-awsome!! Plenty of room for everyone. I got some beautiful pics & wonderful memories! & the Friday night fire works made a fabulous ending to a perfect evening at the end of an amazing trip!! I would rebook this cruise on every trip I made!

I participated alone. It was more fun than I expected. I really felt like I was in Hawaii!
Once on board, the crew started talking about safety instructions. I couldn't understand anything they were saying... ^_^;
After a while, they served everyone cocktails in cups, and the crew came around multiple times for refills.
I also went to the restroom. No one seemed to have used it, so it was very clean that day. However, it was quite narrow! Since you have to use a vertical ladder, it might be difficult for those with mobility issues...
Next time I come to Hawaii, I will definitely ride this catamaran again! Wait for me!
何を言っているかさっぱりわかりませんでした・・・^_^;

OK, there was a pod of 200 dolphins swimming all around our boat - which was a trip, sunset views were awesome - you won't see a sunset like this one in Waikiki, believe me I went one TWO sailing trips in Waikiki last week, which were great too ... but on this trip we actually saw the sun slip away behind the ocean horizon. The crew was so friendly and chill and accommodating ... no pressure ... no trying to shamelessly sell you stuff, actually, Captain Patrick shared all the free stuff to do along the coast, we saw the Black Pearl from Pirates of the Caribbean and the new Disney hotel too. The snorkeling was great! The food was simple and healthy and tasty! Yum! I understand that this is a newer tour so we only had about 18 people on a 49 capacity boat .... so lots of room to stretch out and get some tanning done. Thank you all at the Ocean Joy for such an amazing experience! We will be back the Kai oli oli again!!

As mentioned in other reviews, most participants were foreigners. On the day we attended, I believe there was only one other Japanese group besides us.
After departing from Waikiki Beach, there is a safety briefing and a drink explanation, all in English. Once the explanation is over, drinks are served, and then you can relax while watching the sunset.
On the day we participated, it started off sunny, but it became cloudy, and unfortunately, we couldn't see a beautiful sunset. However, we were able to enjoy a leisurely and elegant time out in the waters off Waikiki. The young foreign girls were dancing with drinks in hand the whole time! Don't worry if you can't speak English at all! With so few Japanese people around, you can really feel like you're abroad.
Please make sure to use the restroom before boarding! You should assume there is no restroom on the boat. (There is one, but it has a terrible smell, and you really have to brace yourself to use it...) Well, it's for emergencies!
But other than that, it was fantastic! The next time I go to Hawaii, I will definitely sign up again!

It was perfect! We got a little dressed up and went on board...there was live music and a delicious dinner (I had Mahi Mahi that was out of this world, and they even had a vegetarian offering for my always on a diet daughter!)
Watching the fireworks show, and seeing my little girl happy and feeling like a queen for the night...that was priceless. Worth the money, without a doubt!
