As everyone mentioned, the sunset was magical and wonderful. Additionally, we were lucky that it coincided with the new moon, so the stars were truly beautiful. We could see artificial satellites, shooting stars, and even the distant Kilauea volcano's crater glowing red in the darkness! I'm really glad I participated! In Masashi's tour, the bento provided was not in the usual takeout containers but in a traditional layered box, and instead of disposable chopsticks, we had real ones, and the miso soup was served in a bowl, which showed great thoughtfulness. Also, our guide, Konno, took some stylish photos that became wonderful keepsakes. Thank you!

The sunset was amazing!
The stars were incredible!
It was my first time reaching the summit in February, and the conditions for stargazing were perfect, so I was blessed with great timing and weather.
The travel time is long, but Stefan's entertaining talk makes the journey enjoyable.
Stargazing, one of my goals on the Big Island... it's something you should see at least once in your lifetime!

On the day of the tour, the weather was clear with a blue sky, but unfortunately, we couldn't reach the summit due to strong winds. However, we were able to see a beautiful sunset just below the Mauna Kea Visitor Center, and later, we enjoyed stargazing until the moon rose. Despite the challenging conditions of strong winds and the bright moon making it hard to see the stars, it was wonderful to look up at the night sky with the other participants, listen to interesting explanations, and enjoy warm tea and biscuits. Although it was disappointing not to reach the summit of Mauna Kea, I had a fantastic time and created lovely memories!

ツアー当日、天気は晴れで青空も広がっていたけれど、山頂が強風で残念ながら登ることができませんでした。しかし、オニヅカビジターズセンターの少し下あたりで綺麗な夕日をみて、その後月が上がるまで星空を見ることができました。強風だけじゃなく、月が明るくて星が見えずらいという悪条件が重なったものの、星空をツアーの参加者の方々と見上げて、面白い説明を聞いて、暖かい紅茶を飲んだりビスケットを食べたりと、最高でした。マウナケア山頂に登れなかったのは残念でしたが、非常に楽しめましたし、素敵な思い出になりました！

We were picked up at the hotel and headed to the Onizuka Visitor Center (about 2800m above sea level). As we sped along the highway, we listened to our guide explain about the black cattle, sheep, and goats raised on a ranch on the Big Island. After joining up with other tour guests, we began our ascent up the mountain. About an hour and a half after the pickup, we arrived at the Onizuka Visitor Center. We had dinner from our bento boxes and took a stroll around the area. I was amazed by the stunning silver color of the silversword (a native species of the Big Island, Mauna Kea Silver Sword), and since this is also a sacred site for Hawaiians, I discovered a prayer area (the original form of an altar), which piqued my interest. It was clear that prayers were directed toward the mountain.

Dressed in warm clothing, we got back in the vehicle. The car began to climb the bumpy mountain road that could only be navigated by a four-wheel drive. After about an hour of rough terrain, we reached the summit. As expected, at 4200m on Mauna Kea, we could see the sea of clouds far below. Due to the high altitude, it is said to be 99% clear. There are 13 observatories at the summit, one of which is the Subaru Telescope. I was informed that a 14th telescope is planned for construction, but due to regulations, they cannot build more than 13, so one will likely need to be dismantled.

As we were doing this, the sun began to set slowly. Gradually, the surroundings darkened, and the sun disappeared into the clouds. The orange light reflected on the edges of the clouds after the sun vanished was mystical, making one feel as if there were a sun god in this world. Just to the left, Venus began to shine brightly.

After the introduction to the constellations based on Greek mythology concluded, we got back into the four-wheel drive and began our descent.

防寒着を着込み、再び乗車。車は四輪駆動でなければ走れないでこぼこの山道を登り始めます。1時間ほどの悪路を踏破し、山頂に到着。さすが、4200ｍのマウナケア。雲海がはるか下に見えます。高高度なので99%晴れるとか。山頂には13天文台があり、そのうちの一つがスバル天文台であると説明を受けます。現在14基目を建設の予定ということでしたが、法律で13基以上建てられないので、１基は壊すようになるだろうとのこと。
そうこうしているうちに、太陽が沈み始めます。ゆっくりとゆっくりと。やがて周りが暗くなり、雲の中に太陽が消えていきます。太陽が消えた後の雲の端に映し出されるオレンジの光は神秘的であり、この世に太陽神がいると思わせます。そのすぐ左の方向に、低く金星ががんばって光りだしました。
　太陽が沈むと、天空にだんだんと星が見えてきます。うっすらと太陽の通る道も見え、寒くもなってきます。オリオン座、カシオペア座、北極星を見つけました。そこまでが私の知識の限界。やがてガイドさんが、レザーポインターを使い、誕生星座をツアー客に質問しながら、天空に広がる星座の紹介です。ギリシャ神話の世界が広がります。オリオン座の大星雲、双子座，水瓶座、双子座、天秤座、さらにはスバルなど、もちろん、既に沈んだ星座もあります。私の星座は、オリオンが出ているときは見えません。残念。
　ギリシャ神話に基づく星座の紹介が終わったところで、四駆に乗り込み下山を始めました。

It was a new moon, so I was amazed to see more stars than I had imagined. The explanations about the stars were clear and detailed, using a laser pointer, which made it interesting. I brought two Uniqlo Ultra Light Down jackets, but since they offered to lend ski wear, I thought I would be fine and only wore one. I regretted that at the summit because it was really cold with the strong wind. But overall, I was very satisfied!

新月だったこともあり、想像以上にたくさんの星が見られて感動でした。
星の説明もレーザーポインターを使いながら分かりやすく詳しくしてくださり、面白かったです。ユニクロのウルトラライトダウンを二枚持参しましたが、スキーウエアを貸してくださるので大丈夫かと思って、1枚だけしか着なかったことを山頂で後悔しました。風が強いと本当に寒いです。でも大満足でした！

I was worried about the cold, but it turned out to be a warm and enjoyable tour. We stopped at various places to take photos, and at the summit, they took pictures of us in recommended poses, which was very kind. The weather was great that day, and the sunset sinking into the sea of clouds was beautiful. The starry sky I had been looking forward to was also clearly visible, and we took plenty of time to enjoy the explanations of the constellations. It was moving to see the Milky Way and shooting stars. The lunch box (with miso soup) and the tea and cookies we had along the way were also great.

寒さが心配でしたがおもってたよりも温かく楽しいツアーとなりました。色々なところで車を止めて写真をとって頂いたり、山頂では、おすすめのポーズで写真をとってくれたり、とても親切でした。当日は、お天気もよく、雲海に沈む夕日がキレイでした。楽しみにしていた星空もくっきりキレイに見えて、たっぷりと時間をとって、星座の説明を楽しくして頂きました。天の川や流れ星も見れて感動です。お弁当（お味噌汁付き）も途中でいただく紅茶とクッキーもよかったです。

1) On the day I participated (January 2), I later heard at the hotel that there was a severe storm on the mountain, and all other companies had canceled their tours. While it's true that mountain weather can be unpredictable, I believe it was reckless to proceed with the tour. In the end, we ate our bento at the visitor center, couldn't go outside due to the heavy rain, and of course, we couldn't see the sunset. After that, we moved to a lower area where we could see stars through the gaps in the clouds, and we only looked at the moon through a telescope (even then, it was very windy). While I understand that weather is beyond control, if there was a storm on the mountain, I think the tour should have been canceled and refunds issued. I didn't join to see the moon from the side of a regular road.

2) When I changed the date, I realized I had made a mistake with the day of the week. When I called back to confirm, the man who answered said in a harsh tone, "It should be fine this time, right?" which left me feeling unpleasant.

3) On the day of the tour, I was told to arrive 50 minutes early, but in the end, the bus arrived 30 minutes later than the time given. The driver didn't offer any apology. It felt like the participation fee and time were completely wasted on this tour.

１）参加した日（１／２）は、山の上は大嵐で、他の会社のツアーは全部キャンセルだったと後からホテルで聞きました。山の天気は変わりやすいとは言え、ツアーを決行したのは無謀だったと思います。結局、ビジターセンターで弁当を食べ、大雨のため、外にも出られず、もちろん夕日も見られず、その後、雲間から星が見える低い所に移動し、望遠鏡で月を見ただけでした。（その時も強風。）天気のことは、しかたありませんが、山の上が嵐だったら、その日はツアーをキャンセルして返金するべきだったのではないでしょうか。普通の道路脇から月を見るために参加したのではありません。２）日にちを変更した時に曜日を間違えたことに気づき、確認のためにまたすぐ電話したら、対応した男性に「今度は大丈夫ですね？」と、きつい調子で言われ、不愉快な思いをしました。３）集合時間も当日、５０分早く来るように言われたのに、結局はバスが着いたのは言われた時間より３０分も後でした。運転手さんからは謝罪の一言も無し。参加費、時間が全く無駄になった気がしたツアーでした。

I traveled around the Big Island by rental car, but since you can't drive to the summit of Mauna Kea in a private vehicle, I joined this tour. The experience, including the guide's explanations, exceeded my expectations. It was my first time at an altitude of over 4000 meters, so I felt a bit of altitude sickness (nothing too serious though...). However, the view from the summit, the sunset, and the starry night sky were beyond imagination.

ハワイ島ではレンタカーで回ってましたが、マウナケア山頂まで自家用車でいけないのでこのツアーに参加しました。ガイドさんの説明も含めて予想以上のすばらしさでした。山頂では初めての4000m以上の高さなので私一人高山病ぎみでした(大した症状ではないですが。。)

We have visited Hawaii many times, but this was our second time on the Big Island.
Renting a car for island sightseeing and experiencing the Mauna Kea sunset and stargazing were our top two priorities.
This time, we challenged ourselves with the Mauna Kea sunset and stargazing at an elevation of 4,200 meters.
The beauty of the scenery, the sunset, and the clarity of the stars are beyond words.

I was able to see a very beautiful sunset, and it was moving!! However, it was extremely cold. For stargazing, clouds rolled in, but they worked hard to find a spot where we could see the stars, and we managed to catch a glimpse. Masashi's guidance was also excellent, and it will definitely be one of my best memories on the Big Island. However, sunsets make me feel a bit lonely when the sun goes down, so perhaps a sunrise would have been even more moving. It’s early in the morning, but I thought I would like to go for a sunrise next time.

とてもキレイなサンセットがみれて、感動的でした!!ただ、めちゃめちゃ寒いです。星空観測は雲が出てしまったのですが、見れるところを一生懸命探してくださって、なんとか見れました。マサシさんのガイドもすごく良くて、ハワイ島で一番の思い出になること間違いなしです。ただ、サンセットは日が沈むと寂しい気持ちになるので、サンライズのほうが、もっと感動的だったかも。朝早いですが、次回はサンライズ行きたいなと思いました。

We were picked up at our hotel in Kona around 1 PM and took about two hours to reach the Onizuka Visitor Center via the hotel in Waikoloa. There, we had our lunch and spent an hour acclimatizing to the altitude before driving up to the summit of Mauna Kea again. The summit was very windy and cold, but we were deeply moved by the beautiful sunset and the sea of clouds. After that, we observed the starry sky at an altitude of over 3,000 meters, where the stars appeared very close, and we could even see satellites moving. It was a great experience of nature that you can't have in Tokyo. Our guide, Stephan, was also kind and a truly wonderful person.

13時頃にコナのホテルでピックアップ、ワイコロアのホテル経由で約2時間かけてオニズカビジターセンターに着きました。そこでお弁当を食べ体を標高に慣らすこと1時間、再度車でマウナケア頂上まで登りました。山頂は風が強く寒かったですが、きれいな日没と雲海を見ることが出来て大変感動しました。そのあとも標高3千数百メートルのところで星空観察、星がとても近く見え、人口衛星まで動いているのが確認できました。東京では体験できない大自然、とても良かったです。ガイドのステファンさんも親切で大変素晴らしい方でした。

Watching the sunset and stargazing at the summit of Mauna Kea on the Big Island is something I want to experience at least once in my lifetime, so I made the trip from my usual base in Oahu. Since I was the first to be picked up for the tour, I ended up sitting next to Masakazu Matsuzaki, known as "Macchan." His consistent dedication to service was genuine. I could hear him saying, "Oh, this is fun, fun," as if he was reminding himself, almost like a mantra. I felt it was wonderful how he responded to guests' requests and guided us naturally, with his way of life and work in harmony.

When you have a good guide, not only can you enjoy the night sky, star clusters, and shooting stars with their extensive astronomical knowledge, but the entire group can also share a pleasant time together. During our stop at Onizuka Point for lunch, we joined the Yamachan group, and the banter between Macchan and Yamachan was a highlight. Thanks to them, we also got to see the rare silver sword plant! As we approached the summit, the sea of clouds and the scattered observation telescopes from various countries created a mysterious and almost sci-fi movie-like atmosphere. When the orange sunset sank into the clouds, the show of countless stars began. That emotion is something you have to experience at least once... While personal cameras have limitations in skill and performance, the photos taken by the guides can be downloaded after returning home, and their quality and shot composition brought a second wave of excitement. I truly made wonderful memories. Thank you very much. Next year, I will challenge myself with the "sunrise." Macchan, please keep guiding until then...!

　ハワイ島マウナケア山頂でのサンセット＆星空観測、なんて、一生に一度は見たいもの、といつものオアフ島から足をのばしました。　ツアーのピックアップが最初だったから、松崎正君（ただし君とは読まない）、通称”まっちゃん”の横に座ることに．．．、彼の終始一貫した、サービス精神は本物でした。聞いてましたよ、「ああ楽しい、楽しい」とあれは自分に言い聞かせながらだったのか、呪文のように唱えてましたね。　客の要望に応えたり、又は誘導したり、出すぎることなく、自然体で、生き方と仕事が一致してるのって、いいなあ、と感じました。
良いガイドにあたると、豊富な天文の知識で星空、星団や流れ星を楽しめるだけでなく、ツアー全員も和やかに一つの時間を共有できるのです。　途中の鬼塚ポイントでのお弁当、やまちゃんグループと合流、まっちゃん＆やまちゃんのかけ合い漫才も目玉ですよ。　珍しい銀剣草もお蔭で見れました！　頂上が近づくにつれ、雲海や点在する各国の展望鏡など、まるで宇宙ＳＦ映画のような不思議な、それでいて神秘的な気分になっていきます。オレンジ色の夕陽が雲海に落ちていくと、満天の星のショーの始まりです。あの感動は一度は味わわないと．．．個人のカメラでは腕と性能に限りがありますが、ガイドの彼らが撮って下さった写真が帰国後、ダウンロードでき、その出来映えとショットセンスに二度目の感動です。ほんとにいい思い出ができました。ありがとうございました。来年は、”サンライズ”に挑戦します。まっちゃん、それまでやめないでガイド続けててね．．．！

I participated on November 6th. The summit at 4200m was very cold, but the sunset with the sea of clouds was wonderful and very moving. I didn't suffer from altitude sickness, and I was lent proper cold-weather gear. They also provided warm drinks along the way, showing great attention to detail, which allowed me to fully enjoy the stunning scenery. One disappointment was that there were too many clouds to observe the starry sky. Still, I was able to take many photos with the full moon in the background and had a great time. I saw people around 60 years old participating energetically, so I think anyone can enjoy this experience.

11/6に参加しました。4200mの山頂はとても寒かったですが、サンセットは雲海がすばらしくとても感動しました。高山病にもならず、しっかりとした防寒具も貸してもらえ、途中暖かい飲料も頂いたりと細やかに気配り頂いたので、とても素晴らしい景色を堪能することができました。ひとつ残念だったのは、雲が多くて星空観測がほとんどできなかった事です。それでもたくさんフルムーンを背景にたくさん写真を撮ったりして楽しめました。60歳前後の方も元気に参加されていたので、どなたでも楽しめると思いました。

We were blessed with great weather and were moved by the wonderful sunset and starry sky at Mauna Kea. Although we participated as an older group, it seemed that everyone experienced a perspective that made them feel as if their lifespan had been extended. Many had wanted to climb it at least once, and we were impressed by the greatness of the mountain, which didn't feel like 4,200 meters, as well as the guide's storytelling and photographs.

The weather at the summit on the day was not great (blizzard), which was a bit disappointing, but... we were able to see the starry sky a little lower down. It wasn't quite a full sky, but it was moving. Masashi's tour was enjoyable and very accommodating, and I was very satisfied. However... it was unfortunate that there weren't enough rental outfits for everyone, and my partner ended up without one and looked cold.

当日の山頂の天候がイマイチ（吹雪）でちょっと残念でしたが･･･少し下ったところで星空見れました。満天･･･までとはいかなかったと思うけど感動しました。マサシさんのツアーは楽しくいたれりつくせりで大満足でした。ただ･･･貸し出ししてくれるはずのウェアが人数分なくて足りなくなってしまい、相方があぶれてしまい寒そうだったのは残念だったところ･･･。

I participated with a friend. The cold weather gear was sufficient as the reviews said, but my fingertips and toes still got cold.

At the summit, the air was thin, and I was feeling quite high-spirited, but I noticed that the guide was taking the time to remind everyone to be careful. Thanks to that, I didn’t get altitude sickness, which was a relief.

I was looking forward to the starry sky, so I was wondering how the sunset would be. It was probably my first time quietly watching it, and it left a deep impression on me.

There was a man (probably from America) who asked me to take a photo, and he said he had walked for five hours to get there. I felt that this tour is truly appreciated by ordinary people who don’t have such stamina (laughs).

By the time the stars were visible, I felt an indescribable sense of happiness. The wind was cold, but it was a great spot to see the stars, so I managed to endure it. Actually, I had stopped by a restaurant with a planetarium at Haneda Airport, so I was already prepared for the autumn starry sky! When I heard about the first magnitude star of Ursa Minor, I thought, "Oh, that one!" So, I recommend this to those heading from Haneda.

Although my night vision isn’t great, I feel like I saw about five shooting stars. They were visible to the naked eye, which was moving.

For those with a DSLR, it seemed the guide was giving detailed tips on how to take photos, so I’d definitely want to bring one along. As for me, I didn’t have one, so I left it to the guide. In any case, it’s best to leave it to a reliable professional. (Please refer to other people's photos for the starry sky.)

The guides were efficient, and I was satisfied with the photos, food, and conversation. Thank you very much, Macchan and Stefan. It was a wonderful experience that makes me want to go again.

防寒具は口コミ通り十分でしたが、やはり指先と足先は冷えますね。

山頂は空気が薄く、私の場合はテンションがハイになっていましたが、

おかげで高山病になりませんでした。助かりました。

星空に期待していたので、日の入りはどうかなと思っていましたが、
静かに眺める機会がおそらく初めてだったこともあり、印象深かったです。

写真をお願いと頼んできた男性（おそらくアメリカの）がいたのですが、
5時間かけて歩いて登ってきたのだとか。
そんな体力のない一般の人には、本当にありがたいツアーだなと感じました(笑)

星空が見えるころには何とも言えない幸せな気分でした。
風は冷たかったですが、星がきれいに見えるいい場所なので我慢です。
実は羽田空港で、プラネタリウム付きレストランに立ち寄っていて、
秋の星空の予習済みでした！
こぐま座の１等星と言われて「あれね！」となったので、
羽田から向かう方にはこちらもおすすめです。
夜の目がきかない方ですが、流れ星を５つぐらいは見た気がします。
肉眼で見えるんですね、感動しました。

一眼レフがある方はガイドさんが細かく撮り方のコツを教えていたようですので、
ぜひ持って参加したいですね。
そういう私は持っていませんからガイドさんまかせでしたが。
何にしても信頼できるプロに任せるのが一番ですよね。
（星空の写真は他の方を参考にしてください。）

手際のよいガイドさんたちで、写真もご飯もトークも満足です。

Climbing a mountain over 4,000 meters like Mount Fuji might seem daunting. However, you can actually drive to the summit of Mauna Kea. It may sound easy to just rent a car, but beyond the Onizuka Center, the road is unpaved and driving becomes quite difficult. Additionally, the oxygen levels decrease, making it dangerous to drive unless you have considerable climbing experience.

This tour reveals a world you've never seen before. While Japanese people refer to it as "goraikou" (the first sunrise), the gradually darkening sunset is exceptional.

After that, stargazing... A clear world unfolds that you can't see in the city.

なんとマウナケアは山頂まで車で行けるんです。
じゃレンタカーでと簡単に思ってしまいますが、途中の鬼塚センターから先は舗装されておらず、運転がかなり難しい。且つ酸素が薄くなりますから、よほど登山経験でもないと運転は危険です。
このツアーで見たことのない世界が目の前に広がります。
日本人はご来光といいますが、徐々に暗くなるサンセットは格別です。

My partner and I love stargazing, and we had high hopes of seeing the stars at the world-renowned Mauna Kea! However, since November is the rainy season, we unfortunately encountered completely cloudy skies and were unable to see almost any stars. Since this was the main highlight of our trip to Hawaii, it turned into a disappointing experience afterward. The guide was very nice and seemed well-studied, which left a good impression. Given that we are dealing with nature, it's understandable, but since the participation fee is not cheap, those planning to join during the rainy season from November should be aware that there may be days when you can't see any stars at all.

夫婦で星空が好きで、世界的に名高いマウナケアで星空が見れる!と大きな期待をしていましたが、11月は雨季ということで運悪く完全に曇ってしまい、殆ど星を見ることができませんでした。今回のハワイ旅行のメインだっただけに、その後残念な旅となってしまいました。ガイドの方はとても良い方で、よく勉強されているように見受けられて好印象でした。自然が相手だけに仕方ありませんが、参加費も安くないので、11月からの雨季に参加される方は全く星が見えない日もあることは承知しておいた方がいいですよ。

It was great to have a relaxing morning since the activities were in the afternoon. The tour was excellent, with a knowledgeable guide and good service. The weather changed from rain the day before to clear skies, allowing us to enjoy the stunning sunset at the summit of Mauna Kea with plenty of time to spare, which was very satisfying. The stargazing after sunset was like a planetarium, with a sky full of stars. The warm beverage service was also a nice touch.

午後からのアクティビティなので、午前中ゆっくり出来て良かった。
ツアーはガイドさんの話や対応も良く天気も前日の雨から晴天になり、最高の夕日をマウナケア山頂でゆっくり時間もあり大満足でした。
日没後の
星空観測もプラネタリウムかと思うぐらい満点の星空でした。温かい飲み物サービスもあり良かったです。

I participated in the Mauna Kea Summit Sunset & Stargazing Tour, and the driver, Matsuchan, started by introducing himself. He is from Noda City, Chiba Prefecture, and upon hearing that, it felt like he was someone from my own area.

Moreover, he worked hard to make the tour enjoyable, creating wonderful memories for us. During the commemorative photo session with the constellations in the background, there were a few clouds, so we couldn't see the Milky Way, but the sunset was amazing!

マウナケア山頂 サンセット＆星空観測ツアーに参加、ドライバーの松ちゃんが自己紹介を始め、千葉県野田市出身、えっー　良く聞けば・・・
何か他人には思えない、近くの出身者でした。
　又、ツアーも一生懸命に盛り上げて頂き大変良い思い出になりました。
星座をバックに記念撮影時にはわずかに雲が残り、天の川を見ることは出来ませんでしたが、サンセットはさいこうでしたよ。

The weather was bad, and we couldn't climb Mauna Kea. There's really no other way to express how disappointing that is. However, our guide did their best to make sure we enjoyed ourselves by finding a spot where we could see the sunset and taking us to a place where we might be able to see the stars.

If I have the chance to go back to the Big Island, I would like to try again.

The altitude was high, and I was a bit worried about my health, but I participated anyway. We took breaks along the way, had meals, and enjoyed jokes from our guide in the car, and we made it to the summit safely. The sunset was wonderful, and the explanation of the constellations made for an amazing experience.

Reasons for choosing this tour: 1) The rental car is required to be a 4WD, and there is no coverage for breakdowns or accidents on mountain routes. 2) Cold weather gear (jacket, pants, gloves, hat) is provided. 3) There is an explanation during the stargazing.

I felt the tour price was quite high, but considering the preparation of vehicles suitable for high altitudes and rough roads, the timing (at night), and the content, I think it is reasonable.

Good points about Masashi NS: 1) Nowadays, pre-packaged meals are the norm, but this tour uses lunch boxes like those from a school cafeteria, and miso soup is served in bowls! I was impressed by their consideration for the environment. This was the first time I had a lunch box and bowl in Hawaii; the rice was a bit hard, but I enjoyed it beautifully. 2) The staff took photos with my camera and uploaded them to the blog that evening, allowing us to enjoy the afterglow, and I could download the photos for free. (I slightly regret not having more family photos taken...)

On the day, there were clouds at high altitudes, so we couldn't see the beautiful sunset sinking into the sea of clouds, but we could see Mauna Loa and Haleakalā beyond the clouds, the majestic Subaru, the changing colors of the sky and clouds, and I was moved by the momentary brilliance of the sunset. I also enjoyed a sky full of stars, including Saturn.

The tour itself was not deluxe, but it was simple and sincere, truly deserving of the name "Nature School." Thank you to Mr. Konno and Mr. Stefan for accompanying us this time.

当ツアーにした理由①レンタカーは４WDが原則で山岳ルートでの故障・事故には保障なし。②防寒具（ジャケット、ズボン、手袋、帽子）が用意される。③星座観察での説明
ツアー代金はいい値段（高い）と感じましたが、今は高地・悪路対応の車両の準備、催行時間（夜）、内容を考えたら妥当と思っています。
マサシNSの良かった点①昨今の食事はパックの弁当が主流ですが、当ツアーは給食センターで使うような弁当箱、お味噌汁はお椀を使用！エコに気を使っていることに感銘を受けました。　ハワイでお弁当箱とお椀でいただいたのはこれが初めて、ご飯は少し硬めでしたが綺麗にいただきました。②スタッフの方がMyカメラで写真を撮ってくれ、その日の晩にブログにアップしてくれ、余韻を楽しむことが出来るのと、無料で写真をダウンロードできました。（もっと家族で写真を撮ってもらえばよかったと少し後悔・・・）
当日は高層に雲がかかり、雲海に沈む綺麗な夕日とはいきませんでしたが、雲海の向こうにマウナロア、ハレアカラを望め、凛としたスバルの雄姿、刻々と変わる空と雲の色、一瞬輝きを放つ夕日に感動しました。　また土星を初め満点の星を楽しむことが出来ました。
ツアー自体はデラックスではないけど質素・誠実、まさにネイチャースクールの名に相応しいものでした。　今回同行頂いた今野さん、ステファンさんありがとうございました。
