Wow. It was so much fun!!! I've never been in a sea cave before, so it was definately one of the trips I never forget. Thank you for the great time!
This was my first snorkel trip ever and I couldn't stop talking about it. The entire experience from the boat, to the staff, to the waters, to the history was amazing!!!!

WOW! What a fun evening! We were reluctant to do this activity but it turned out be the most enjoyable of all of our adventures in Hawaii. You would never know you were in Hawaii atop this beautiful snow capped mountain. The sights are unbelievable and the sunset probably the best you will ever see. The staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating. This is a must do activity in Hawaii. You won稚 be disappointed.
I returned home yesterday, and I'm reminiscing by looking back at my photos. Although I was disappointed that my initial reservation for Mauna Kea on the 5th was canceled, we went ahead on the final day of our stay, the 8th. It was cold! The snow that fell until yesterday created a stunning winter wonderland in this "tropical country." However, while we were able to see the sunset, the cloudy sky made it impossible to see the stars.
Instead, we were able to clearly see the bright red river of lava flowing from Kilauea volcano through the telescope that was set up for us! This was a sight that would be impossible to see during the day and also not something you would encounter while hiking Kilauea, so it was incredibly moving. The staff were also surprised, saying, "I've never seen it this clearly before."
Satisfied with that, we set off on our way back, but suddenly veered off the main road at Highway 19 and stopped. Although it wasn't quite at the summit, we were treated to a breathtaking starry sky that would be impossible to see in Japan, and we received a light-hearted explanation of the Milky Way and constellations. It was my first experience confirming our zodiac signs, Cancer and Gemini, with my partner.

昨日帰国しましたが、写真を見返して思い出を反芻しています。
マウナ･ケア行きは、当初予約の5日がキャンセルで残念でしたが、滞在最終日の8日は決行。寒い！昨日までの降雪で真っ白な「常夏の国の」銀世界は圧巻。ただし落日は観られたものの曇天で星空は無理でした。
しかしその代わりに、セットしてもらった望遠鏡で、キラウエア火山から流れ出る真っ赤な溶岩の川が鮮明に！！！昼間は絶対に無理な、またキラウエア登山でもお目にかかれない光景だそうで大感動でした。スタッフの方も「こんなに鮮明に見えたのは初めてだ｣と驚いていたほどです。
それで満足して帰途についたのですが、もう少しで19号線という場所で突然横道にそれて停車。山頂には及ばないらしいものの、日本では到底無理な満天の星空で、天の川や星座の解説を軽妙にしてもらいました。自分と連れ合いの、かに座・双子座の確認は初めての体験です。

The crew was fantastic. A very unique way to see ocean life up close. It was a bit crowded and you have to bend over to see out the windows if you are taller than 5 foot, but you soon forget about that as you look through your window.
This is the best luau i have ever been! Not only is it very affordable but the host is very informative on the cultures of the hawaiians and the other polynesian tribes. My best friend and I had soo much fun in this luau and plus we are amazed at the fire show that they put on. We were very overwhelmingly satisfied w/ the amount of food that they serve (about 20 diff kinds of hawaiian dishes)not to mention the 2 hours open bar! I had too much mai tais w/in two hours! This is a great luau to go to for first timers or as regulars.
This was a great experience for all. The natural beauty was stunning, and the staff was just as great. I wish the water was calm enough to go into sea caves, but the kayak tour did not suffer because of it. Sense of adventure and willingness to put in physical effort is required, but well worth it. Our group did end up with cuts and bruises.
As everyone recommended, the staff and other participants are all friendly, and basic English conversation is sufficient, allowing you to fully enjoy the vacation vibe on the Big Island. There are pamphlets with Japanese translations for snorkeling precautions, which is reassuring. Breakfast, lunch, alcohol, and snacks are all included, providing excellent service. Regarding the sea, you can encounter schools of dolphins, and they give you plenty of time for snorkeling, but the water is quite cold. For those who have snorkeled in other countries, the variety of fish might feel a bit lacking.
皆さんのお勧め通りスタッフや他の参加者たちはみんなフレンドリーで、簡単な英会話で通用しますし、ハワイ島でのヴァカンス気分を十分満喫できます。シュノーケルの際の注意事項も日本語訳のパンフレットがあり安心です。朝食やランチ、アルコールやスナックまでついていてサービス満点です。海については、イルカの群れに出会えますし、シュノーケル時間もたっぷり取ってくれるのですが、とにかく水が冷たい。他国でシュノーケルをやったことのある人にはお魚の種類が少なくてちょっと物足りないかも。

We were the only Japanese couple on board. The boat was full with couples and families (about 60 people), but it was spacious enough, and the staff were friendly, chatting with us and other tourists in my limited English. My husband and I couldn't swim without wearing rash guards because it was cold (unfortunately, it was a cloudy day), but the other Westerners enjoyed snorkeling in just their swimsuits without feeling cold at all. There was even a pregnant woman who was 10 months along, which surprised me! Even if you can't swim, there are various floatation devices available, so it's fine. The hamburgers on the boat were very delicious! During the return cruise, we were overwhelmed by sleepiness and ended up dozing off together in the sea breeze. Also, there were two clean toilets on the boat, so we felt comfortable using them. We enjoyed snorkeling at two points and encountered large groups of small dolphins at both spots, which excited everyone!

The luau staff were great, but we wish the hotel staff at the lobby were more helpful. We were out of cash to pay $3 for the parking, and all nearby ATM's were down. We asked the lobby staff to accept a credit card payment, but they would not budge. Finally one person in the Luau staff (Dan, I believe) helped us out (bless his heart!). So even though the activity was great, the ending was somewhat rocky.

I highly recommend it. The sea is very clear, and there are plenty of fish. For those who are not confident in swimming, they provide floaties and other equipment on the boat, so you can feel safe. The burgers eaten on the boat were also delicious. The captain, who resembled George Clooney, and the cheerful staff were all very kind.

My Mom and two Aunts visited the Big Island for the first time. I bought Lei's for each of them and they were greeted right off the plane with them! They were so thrilled! I was late for the meeting time, so I was guided to my seat first, but then I went back to get a lei and a flower tattoo. Since it was a buffet, I was able to eat a lot of my favorite foods, but personally, I wanted to eat even more (laughs). While I was in the restroom, the show started, and I missed the Tahitian dance, which was the one I wanted to see the most, so I was really disappointed. The same performers danced various regional dances, which provided a different kind of enjoyment compared to PCC. Since I could see it up close, I carefully observed one dancer to study the dance. If PCC is a show to enjoy the overall impact, I think the show here allows for more detailed observation. It might be great for those who are seeing Hawaiian cuisine and dance for the first time.

バイキングなので自分の好きなものをたくさん食べれたが、私的にもっと食べていたかった（笑）。
トイレに行っていた最中にショーが始まってしまい、タヒチのダンスを見損ねてしまった。一番見たかったダンスだけにショックだった。
色々な地域のダンスを同じ人たちが踊っていたので、PCCとは違った楽しさがあった。まじかで見れたので、一人の人をじっくり観察してダンスを研究した。
PCCが全体の迫力を楽しむショーであるとしたら、ここでのショーはじっくり観察できるものであると思う。
ハワイアン料理やダンスなどを初めて見るといった人にはいいかもしれない。

Day trip to Oahu to see Pearl Harbor and various attractions was great. Don't have to waste the time of actually staying on Oahu which is commercialized and like staying in any other big city in the US. Leo was our guide, very knowledgeable and loved his jokes. Its an early morning and a long day but worth it!
This was only our second time kayaking and had a wonderful time...highly recommended for something other than the usual snorkeling trip
Garfield was a truly excellent tour guide. His stories made the tour a lot of fun. He managed to give a lot of detail about the history of Pearl Harbor and the Missouri and not make it seem like a history lesson. The only thing that would make it better was it it was longer. You can't see the whole island in a day, but we got to see some of the most important spots.
I would thoroughly recommend the tour and make sure to ask for Garfield.
This time, I visited the Big Island for a wedding and honeymoon, and participated in a tour on November 8th.
I joined my husband's family, and the guide, Yamachan, was amazing with his attentiveness, humor, and knowledge about the stars... everything was just perfect! Thank you for an emotional experience that I could never have in Japan.
I will never forget the Milky Way we saw that night!! Next time, I definitely want to go see the summer constellations. When I do, I will be sure to request Yamachan as my guide! Thank you very much.
今回は結婚式、ハネムーンが目的でハワイ島を訪れ、11/8のツアーに参加しました。
夫の家族と参加しましたが、ガイドのやまちゃんの気配り、面白さ、星の詳しさ・・・などなど、最高でした！日本では決して味わえない、感動的な時間をありがとうございます。

On my fourth trip to Hawaii, I visited the Big Island for the first time. The purpose was golf and Mauna Kea. The sunset and scenery at Mauna Kea were breathtaking. Additionally, our guide, Mr. Yamamoto, was excellent with his stories, explanations, and attentiveness to guests (we hit it off since we are both from Kansai). It became a wonderful memory.
Also, my wife forgot her sunglasses on the bus, but they were kindly delivered to our hotel. We are very grateful. If the opportunity arises, this is definitely a tour I would like to take again.

The luau was good food was great staff were great the show was ok and they would'nt let you video tape the show. It rained on us for a little while before we ate but it cleared up after and we didn't have to go inside but all in all it was a fun time
This was a fantastic experience and very unique. Never expected the manta rays to come soo close. Hope my pics come out. Will definitely do again when I come back to the Big Island. Highly recommend for everyone, was a very easy snorkel and NOT scary at all.
My wife did the early morning 3.5 hour trip and we loved it. This was the first time that me and my wife had ever kayaked, the tour guides show you how to do everything from balancing your kayak to getting in and out of your kayak in the open ocean. We seen a pod of dolphins on the way out of the bay, that was great, then we followed the shore line. at one point we were able to paddle into a small cave with a blow hole, and then several members of the tour jumped off the cliff over the cave. It was a bit too high for us so we watched. But we were able to paddle out before the rest with one guide and when we were just around the corner the same pod of dolphins swam under and by us. Several of the dolphins were within touching distance of our kayak. My wife was so in awe she could barely get the camera out! The snacks were yummy and the guides wonderful!. We were able to wander and snorkel at a second sight that had a cove and a shorter cliff that we jumped off! If you can take t
all I can say about this tour is "wow" if you have never ever paddled in a kayak befor no problem with on tour your guides will teach you how get in and balance yourself, how to hold your paddle, how to paddle toeghter, how to get in and out of your kayak in open water even if you have never done it before because that person was me. My wife and I had the best time toeghter trying to see everything thats going on around you. After they show you how to do everything you just start paddiling out of the bay with your guides along the coast line. Just as we rounded the corner a pod of dolphins swaw by us they were about 100 yrds away from us but what a treat. We stoped for a short break and they showed us how to get in and out of the kayak in the open ocean, then we went cliff to the blow hole paddled in and out of the cave jumped off the cliff then went around to another bay to have lunch and snorkle.
