I participated in a tour that included dolphin watching, snorkeling, and a barbecue lunch, and it was great. The participants were all foreigners, and the staff were kind, cheerful, and a lot of fun, making for an amazing half-day experience.

I was worried about getting seasick, but it was so enjoyable that I didn't have time to feel seasick at all, and I was completely fine.

The meeting point at the pier was very close to the hotel, which was very convenient.

The hamburgers grilled by the staff were the best!

参加者は外国人ばかりで、スタッフも親切で明るくて
とっても楽しい方ばかりだったので、最高の半日が過ごせました。

船酔いなんてしている暇がないくらいで
全然大丈夫でした。

集合場所の桟橋もホテルからすぐのところで、

To conclude, it was the worst tour I've ever experienced. First, the meeting point was unclear. The voucher only said "Honokohau Harbor," and I had no idea where to go in the harbor. When I called for clarification, the response was off the mark. Ultimately, I ended up in the wrong place. On top of that, on this day, the manta rays didn't show up, and I was told, "It only happens about three times a year." While I understand that it's a natural occurrence, I was very frustrated when they said, "With that kind of probability, it's actually lucky!" Furthermore, they kept emphasizing that "you must give tips to the captain and staff," which, although a cultural difference, I couldn't accept. I don't mind tipping, but the way they said it was unacceptable. Lastly, there was an attempt to show consideration by offering a gift for not seeing the manta rays, but this backfired. It was a postcard of a manta ray. Not only did it feel patronizing, but there weren't enough cards for the number of participants—just one per group. When I complained, they said, "It's originally a paid card, so please understand." While I get that it's a natural occurrence, considering that customers are paying for the experience, if there's even a 1% chance of failure, there should be some recovery measures in place as a business. I believe there should be alternative points, merchandise provided when things go wrong (in terms of quality and quantity), and at least a formal apology.

結論から申し上げて、過去に体験したことのないひどいツアーでした。まずは分かりにくい集合場所。バウチャーに「ホノウコウハーバー」としか書いておらず、ハーバーのどこに行けばいいのか全く分からなかった。電話で問い合わせたところ、的を射ない回答。結果的に間違っていたし。そしてこの日は運の悪いことにマンタは現れず、「年に3回くらいしかない」と説明を受け、自然のことなのでしょうが無いとは思いつつも、「そのくらいの確率だから、逆にラッキー！」とか言われて非常に腹が立った。その上「船長とスタッフにはチップを必ずあげてくれ」とひたすら強調していたのも、文化の違いとは言え納得できない。チップは払うが、その言い方はない。そして最後に「マンタに会えなかったからギフトを」という心遣いがあったがこれが逆効果。マンタのポストカード。気持ちが逆撫でされただけでなく、参加人数に対して枚数が足りず、1グループ1枚。文句を言うと「元々有料のカードなんだから、勘弁して」とのこと。自然のこととは言え、体験に対してカネを払っている顧客のことを考えれば、1％でも失敗の可能性があるのであれば、その際のリカバリー策はビジネスとしていくつか用意しておくべき。違うポイント、ダメだったときのグッズ提供（質・量とも）、一応の謝罪、あって然るべきと思う。

The meeting place is quite difficult to find.

There were quite a few people who seemed to be affluent.

You can enjoy it with a middle school level of English proficiency. I think it's a safe tour. Even in the middle of summer, it can be cold on the way back, so it's better to bring a jacket.

安全なツアーだと思います。真夏でも帰りは寒いので上着持参したほうがいいです。　

I was amazed by the abundance of fish and the clarity of the water in Carelac Bay. It was fantastic to see dolphins as well. The captain's boat handling and the way he braked when entering the cave were exquisite, making for an exhilarating and enjoyable experience.

ケアラクケア湾の魚の多さと海のクリアさにはびっくりしました。
イルカも見れて最高でした。
船長さんのボートの運転も洞窟に突っ込む際のブレーキのしかたも絶妙でハラハラしながら気持ちいい体験ができました。

I participated alone in August. I was told to confirm by phone at 4 PM on the day of the event, so I called, but it seemed that it wasn't particularly necessary, which surprised me. It seems that it's not needed unless the weather is particularly dangerous.

After going to the office and completing the check-in, they lend you a wetsuit in the next room without saying anything. After that, you go to the place where the boat departs on your own. The directions are simple, but I ended up getting lost unexpectedly. In fact, there were people who got lost and couldn't make it in time, so I think those who lack confidence should allow themselves plenty of time to get there.

The entire process is in English, but there aren't any detailed instructions, so if you have the guts, you'll be fine. It's a valuable experience. By the way, there were participants who couldn't swim and children as well.

After getting in the water, your body gets quite cold, so a towel and something to wear over yourself are essential. Even in August, my teeth were chattering.

８月に１人で参加しました。
当日の４時に電話で確認をとのことだったので、電話してみましたが、特に必要じゃないようで、かえってビックリされました。特に天候が危ない感じとかじゃなければ必要なさそうです。
事務所に行って、受付を済ますと、何も言わなくても隣の部屋でウエットスーツを貸してくれます。その後、自分で船が出る場所まで行きます。道順は簡単なのですが、あっけなく迷いました。実際、道に迷って間に合わず参加できなかった人たちもいたので、自信が無い人は余裕をもって行ったほうがいいと思います。
全行程英語ですが、特に細かい指示もないので、度胸があれば大丈夫です。価値のある経験ができます。
ちなみに、泳げない人や子供の参加していました。
水につかった後はかなり体が冷えるのでタオルと羽織るものは欠かせません。８月でも歯がカタカタいいました。

At first, I was anxious, but I persevered and ultimately had a wonderful encounter and experience with the dolphins. I was moved by how the guide prioritized both the guests and the dolphins.
I would like to use this service again. My wife and I are talking about wanting to see whales in the winter.

最初は不安だったがあきらめずにがんばっていただき、最終的にはすばらしいイルカとの出会い、体験になった。客のこと、イルカのことを最優先にガイドいただき感動しました。
また利用したいです。冬にクジラをみたいなと妻と話しています。

I participated in the afternoon session, but I made a mistake with the meeting time and arrived a bit late, though they waited for me. The staff was kind.

The rafting exceeded my expectations in terms of speed, just as the reviews said. We bounced off the waves and then dropped suddenly, and my backside was getting hit repeatedly. Of course, I couldn't let go of the handrails.

After quite a distance, we were taken to the snorkeling spot, where we stayed for an hour. They also lent us noodle-shaped floaties. Without those, I, being in my forties, would have reached my physical limit. There were sea urchins scattered on the rocks, and I saw a lot of fish. It was quite deep just a little away from the shore, which was a bit scary. After returning home, I learned about the shark incident, so thinking back, I'm just glad I was safe.

Since the sun wasn't shining too much, my 8-year-old son got cold after about 15 minutes and got back on the boat, so I followed shortly after. That was a mistake... I tend to get seasick, and I completely got seasick on the boat that was anchored and swaying with the waves. They provided snacks, drinks, and cut fruits, and my son was munching away. I was struggling during the waiting time and felt like I was going to pass out (laughs).

On the way back, I was just thinking about how I couldn't wait to get back, but it seemed that the four boys, including my 8-year-old, were very satisfied.

As you can see, opinions within the family were quite divided, so it might be tough for those who are not fond of roller coasters, but I recommend it for those who love speed and find the beach a bit lacking.

午後の部参加でしたが、集合時間を間違え、少し遅れましたが待っててくれました。スタッフは親切です。

ラフティング、口コミ通り予想を超えるスピードでした。波に当たっては跳ね上がりそして急落下、お尻もドンドン打ち付けられます。もちろん手は絶対手すりを離せません。

まだかまだかと結構な距離を走り、シュノーケリングスポットに連れて来られて、そこで1時間滞在。
ヌードルという棒状の浮き輪も貸してくれます。これがないとアラフォーの私は体力的に限界。岩場にはウニもゴロゴロ、お魚もたくさん見れました。岸から少し離れただけでかなり深いので、少し怖かったな。
帰国後、サメの事件を知ったので、今考えると無事で何よりです。

太陽があまり照ってなかったので8歳の息子が15分程で寒がり、ボートに上がったので私も間も無く上がりました。
それがいけなかった。。
元々船酔いする私は、その停泊して波に揺られるボートに完全に酔ってしまいました。
スナック菓子や飲物、カットフルーツを出してくれて、息子はムシャムシャ食べてました。私はそれからの待ち時間が辛過ぎて、気を失いそうでした（笑）

帰りのボートも早く着かないかとばかり考えてましたが、私以外の8歳児含む男4人は大満足だったようです。

このように家族内でも評価が真っ二つなので、ジェットコースターが苦手な方には辛いかもしれませんが、スピード好きな方、ビーチでは物足りない方にはオススメです。

I enjoyed horseback riding at a ranch that is almost the same size as Nerima Ward while taking in the wonderful scenery. I signed up for a 2.5-hour course, but it ended up being about 2 hours, which was disappointing. Since the tour specifies the riding time, I hoped they would make better use of the time.

素晴らしい景色を見ながら、練馬区とほぼ同じ広さの牧場で乗馬を楽しみました。
2.5時間のコースを申し込みましたが、2時間程度で終わってしまい、残念でした。乗馬の時間も明記してあるツアーなので、シッカリと時間を使って欲しいと思いました。

Rafting that feels like a roller coaster is absolutely exhilarating! It runs so fast, you wonder how far it will go.

We had plenty of snorkeling at two spots, Honauanu Bay and Kealakekua Bay. The warm water was comfortable, and the sea was deep yet endlessly clear and blue. When we went to a slightly shallower rocky area, we were surrounded by a huge school of fish—so satisfying!

Along the way, we heard stories about Captain Cook and learned that two-thirds of the Big Island is hidden underwater, making it the largest mountain in the world, and how tsunamis have shaped the land. There were also discussions about the climate and Kona coffee, with various guides sharing information.

On the way back, we sped along at full throttle! Just when I thought we were going to crash into a rock, we made a sharp turn—phew! Then, just as I thought we were going to hit something again, we suddenly slowed down and quietly entered a cave, where the sea was a mystical emerald green. The guide explained why the minerals make the water look blue, the geological layers, and how big waves lifted large rocks and placed them on the shore. He provided a lot of detailed explanations, but it was hard to follow because he spoke so quickly in English. Still, it was fun!

The staff was very kind. Even though I couldn't understand everything he said in fast English, he kept calling me by my first name, which made me feel comfortable. They also allowed us to store our bags, so I felt secure. I definitely want to go again!

ジェットコースターみたいなラフティングは爽快そのもの！どこまで行くのってくらい走る。
ホナウナウ湾とケアラケクア湾の２カ所でたっぷりシュノーケリング。温暖な水温で快適、深いけどどこまでも透明で蒼い海、少し浅めの岩場に行けば大群に囲まれ大～満足！
途中でキャプテンクックの話やハワイ島は海の下に２／３も隠れてて世界で一番大きな山だとか津波が来て削ったとか気候やらコナコーヒーの話を交えいろんなガイドをしてくれたよ。
帰りもめちゃくちゃ飛ばすね～全速力だぁ！あ～岩にぶつかる～～っと思ったら急旋回、ふぅう～ホっ。またまたぶつかる～～と思ったら急減速し静かに洞窟の中へ、そこは神秘的なエメラルドグリーンの海。鉱物の種類がなんでだから青く見えるんだとか地層とか、大波が来て大きな岩を持ち上げて岩場に置いたのがあれだとか、いろいろ詳しい解説してくれたけど早口の英語でチンプンカンプン、でも楽しいのが良いよね～～。
スタッフはとっても親切。早口の英語で何言ってんだかわかんなかったけど下の名前でずーっと呼んでくれて快適だった。荷物もカバン1個くらいなら必要以外は仕舞ってもらえるんで安心でした。またぜひ行きたいです！

This is a horseback riding experience in a very spacious pasture that spreads across the mountainside at an elevation of about 1,000 meters along the Kohala Mountain Road. I aimed for the meeting point by rental car, but there were hardly any houses along the mountain road, which made me feel a bit uneasy as I ventured deeper into the area. However, I was able to easily find the entrance shortly after passing the milestone as directed. There is a reception area a little further up the slope. Since there was already a customer's car parked there, I had no trouble finding it. This reception area is also at a high elevation and offers a great view, but the tour begins after you go further up and around the gentle mountainside. The reception building has a cabin-like style, but it is by no means dirty, and there are Japanese signs, so filling out the paperwork was not particularly difficult. The instructor, a Caucasian woman, can speak a little broken Japanese, but all other instructions are given in English. After borrowing a helmet and listening to the explanation on how to ride the horse, we immediately started riding. The horse was very easy to ride, and there was nothing dangerous about it. Along the way, we could take photos while moving and enjoy at our own pace. Gradually, we ascended, and the view from the horse was very good, allowing us to see the coastline towards Waikoloa in the distance. It would not be an exaggeration to call it a horseback riding and sightseeing tour rather than just a simple horseback riding tour. The weather was clear and comfortable, but the wind was quite strong, making a long-sleeved jacket essential. In my case, I wore a windbreaker, but it made a rustling sound in the wind, which seemed to make the horse nervous, so I was asked if I had a sweater before we set off. Since I had no other clothes, I borrowed a sweater from the locker room before departing. I realized that attention to clothing is necessary.

海抜約１０００メートル地点を行くコハラマウンテンロード沿いから、さらに上の山腹に広がる、大変広々とした牧草地での乗馬です。レンタカーで集合場所を目指しましたが、途中のマウンテンロード沿いには人家はほとんどなく、どんどん奥地へ進んで行く気がして、少し不安になりますが、案内どおりに目標のマイルポストを過ぎてしばらくした地点に、簡単に入口を見つけることができました。そこからさらに少し斜面を上がったところに、受付があります。先客の乗用車が既に駐車していたので迷うことはありませんでした。この受付場所付近でも、標高が高く、とても眺めの良い場所なのですが、ここからさらに、上の方へなだらかな山腹を回るとツアーになります。受付の建物は山小屋風ですが、決して汚くはなく、日本語の表示もあり、書類の記入も特に困ることはありませんでした。インストラクターの白人女性は、片言の日本語を少し並べることはできますが、それ以外の案内はすべて英語で行われます。ヘルメットを借り、馬の乗り方の説明を聞いたら、すぐに乗馬開始です。とても乗りやすい馬で、危ない思いをするようなことはありません。途中、移動しながら写真を撮ったり、自分たちのペースで楽しませてくれます。しだいに高度を上げていき、馬上から見る眺めが大変見晴らしが良く、遠くワイコロア方面の海岸線も見渡せます。単純な乗馬ツアーというよりも、乗馬＆見晴らしツアーと言っても過言ではないくらいです。ずっと晴天で快適ではありましたが、風はかなり強く、長そでの上着は必須アイテムです。私の場合、ウインドブレーカーを着て行ったのですが、風に吹かれるとウィンドブレーカーがカシャカシャと音を立て、馬が神経質になるらしく、出発前にセーターはないのかと言われました。他に服はなかったので、ロッカールームでセーターを借りて、出発することになりました。服装には注意が必要だと思いました。

We traveled at high speed while sitting on the edge of the boat. This meant we faced away from the water and had to turn sideways to look in the direction we were going. To see the surface of the water or what lay ahead, we had to turn our necks. Fortunately, it wasn't crowded, so I was able to sit at an angle and change my posture as needed. A white woman sitting in front of me lost her hat when the boat sped up. The captain caught it on the spot, so there was no issue, but it might be better to wear a swimming cap from the start.

The destination, Kealakekua Bay, is home to many colorful fish and a diverse underwater landscape that keeps things interesting. However, guests on the tour from the sea are not allowed to disembark on the land where the Captain Cook statue is located. We couldn't spend too long underwater, and since I was getting hungry, when we returned to the boat, the captain cut up some fresh pineapple for us. The freshly cut fruit on the boat was delicious. The lunch sandwiches were just average in taste.

On the way back, we toured points of the lava formations, but the term "Lava Cave Adventure" in the tour name is a bit exaggerated. We didn't pass through any long cave-like structures. While listening to the English explanations, we observed the unique topography of the volcanic island. I thought it would be difficult to understand everything without a certain level of language skills. This tour offers not only the highlight of snorkeling but also the chance to spot dolphins and whales from the boat, along with the thrill of high-speed travel, making it a very rich experience. However, since you'll be outside all day under the blazing sun, it's essential to take adequate sun protection measures. By the way, I forgot to apply sunscreen on my thighs, and while moving around on the boat, direct sunlight hit that area the whole time, causing my skin to turn bright red.

ボートの周囲のへりの部分に腰かけた状態で、高速で航行します。ですので、水面に背を向けて、進行方向に対して横の方を向いて座ります。途中、水面を見たり、進路の先を見るには首を回さなければなりません。幸い、満員ではなかったので、適当に斜めに座ったり、適宜姿勢を変えたりして、移動しました。目の前の白人女性の参加者は船がスピードを上げた際に帽子を飛ばされていました。その場で船長がキャッチしたので事なきをえましたが、帽子は、スイミングキャップを最初から被っていた方が良いかもしれません。目的地のケアラケクア湾は水中にカラフルな魚がたくさんいますし、海底の光景も変化に富んでいて飽きません。ただし、海上からのツアーで訪れた客は、キャプテンクック像のある陸地には上がっていけないことになっています。それほど長い時間、水中だけで過ごす訳にもいかず、お腹もすいたので、ボートに戻ると、船長がその場でパイナップルを切り分けて出してくれます。船の上で食べる切り立てのフルーツがおいしかったです。ランチのサンドイッチは、まあ普通の味です。帰りは溶岩地形のポイントを巡りながら出発地点に戻るのですが、ツアー名にあるような「溶岩洞窟アドベンチャー」という言い方は少々大げさです。細長い洞窟みたいな中を通って抜けるようなこともありません。英語の説明を聞きながら、火山島ならではの独特な地形の観察をしていきます。ある程度の語学力がないと、全部を理解するのは難しいと思いました。このツアーは、目玉のシュノーケルだけでなく、船上からイルカやクジラを眺めるチャンスもあり、高速航行でのスリルあり、大変盛りだくさんの中味の濃いツアーだと思います。ただし、一日中、炎天下にいますので、日焼け対策は十分にしていく必要があります。ちなみに、私の場合、膝上部分に日焼け止めを塗るのを忘れていたところ、船上での移動中、ずっとそこに直射日光が当たっていて、皮膚が真っ赤になりました。

I was able to fully enjoy the charm of the sea and nature on the Big Island. I chose this tour with the goal of snorkeling at Kealakekua Bay, and the round trip to the bay was not just a simple transfer; there were many enjoyable experiences along the way. On the way there, we spotted a pod of dolphins right after leaving the marina, and then we accelerated and headed south. Just when I thought we were going quite far offshore, we were guided to a group of whales. It was my first experience seeing whales up close. The boat was at a height where I could almost touch the water with my fingertips, so even though we were on the boat, the dolphins and whales were quite close. After that, we arrived at Kealakekua Bay. Other tour boats had already arrived, and there were quite a few people there. Those imagining a private swimming experience in a less crowded sea might be disappointed, but I appreciated having people around, as it allowed me to swim comfortably even in deeper areas without feeling nervous. Looking underwater, I could see the seafloor sloping from shallow to deep like a cliff, which was clear and very beautiful. However, it was quite cold even though it was August. Staying in the water for a long time might be a bit tough. When we returned to the boat, we were served lunch, which included drinks, cookies, potato chips, sandwiches, and freshly cut pineapple. The portions weren't very large, so those with big appetites might want to bring their own food. There was a little time to swim after lunch, but some people chose to rest on the boat instead. On the way back, unlike the trip there, we headed north while closely observing the coastline. Along the way, we observed the rugged terrain typical of the Big Island from the sea, and enjoyed views of Kahalu'u Beach Park and the city of Kona as we made our way to the harbor. After experiencing some sudden accelerations and turns, we said our final goodbyes to the pod of dolphins and landed back at the marina. Since all the explanations were in English, it was difficult to understand everything. However, I found that asking questions in my limited English and engaging in some communication helped the crew take care of us better. I think it's better to be proactive in conversation rather than staying silent. I was very satisfied when we disembarked, but since I had been holding the same position for a long time, I felt tired afterward. I realized that it’s also necessary to intentionally change positions and stretch on the boat.

ハワイ島の海と自然の魅力を満喫できました。ケアラケクア湾でシュノーケルするのが目的でこのツアーを選んだのですが、湾までの往復も単なる移動ではなく色々なことが楽しめました。行きはマリーナを出てすぐのところでイルカの群れを見学し、その後は加速して進路を南へ。ずいぶん沖合を南下していると思ったら、クジラの群れの所まで案内してくれました。至近距離でクジラを見るのは初めての体験です。手を伸ばせば水面に指先が入るくらいの高さのボートなので、船上からとはいえ、イルカやクジラがかなり近いです。そしてその後にケアラケクア湾に到着。他のツアーの船も既に到着していて、先客がそれなりにいます。人の少ない海で貸切状態で泳ぐのを想像している人はがっかりするかもしれませんが、私は周囲に人がいてくれるので、深いところでも安心して泳ぐことができ、緊張せずに楽しめ良かったです。水中を眺めていると、浅いところから深いところに向けて海底が崖のようになっているのが、遠くまでクリアに見え、とても幻想的で美しかったです。ただ８月なのに、かなり寒くなって
きます。長時間ずっと水中にいるのは少々つらいかもしれません。船上に戻ると、飲み物、クッキー、ポテトチップ、サンドイッチ、その場でカットしたパイナップルというランチが出ました。量はそれほど多くありませんので、大食いの人は持参の食料が必要かもしれないと思いました。食後も少し泳ぐ時間がありますが、泳がず船上で休んでいる人もいました。そして帰路は、行きと異なり、海岸線を間近に見ながら出発地点へと北上します。途中、溶岩地帯ではハワイ島らしいゴツゴツとした地形を海上から観察したり、カハルウビーチパークやコナの市街地を眺めつつ、港を目指します。途中、急加速したり、旋回したり曲芸航行のような体験をした後、イルカの群れに最後のお別れをして、マリーナに上陸です。説明が全部英語だったので、内容をすべて理解するのは難しかったです。ただつたない英語でもこちらから質問をしたり、ある程度のコミュニケーションを取った方が、クルーも色々と面倒を見てくれます。黙っているより積極的に対話を心がけるのが良いと思いました。とても満足して港に降り立ちましたが、ずっと同じ姿勢で踏ん張っていたので、あとから疲れが出てきました。船上で、意図的に姿勢を変えたり、体をほぐしたりすることも必要だなと思いました。

Whenever I stay in Hawaii, I make it a point to participate in a luau and dinner on the last night of my stay. This time, the luau at the King Kamehameha Hotel had the best location and food! When I stay on the Big Island again, I would love to participate once more.

An amazing place to visit and the tour guide was excellent. Only problem was very poor coordination in getting us from Big Island to Oahu - no information on who to meet or where to go. We ended up having to phone the tour operator when we arrived in Oahu. After that though the day was amazing.

I chose this tour because it was just a short walk from the Sheraton where we were staying. It was our first time sea kayaking with our two children, a middle schooler and an elementary schooler, but we were taught patiently, and the operation was simple, allowing us to have fun.

Paddling along the coastline of the endlessly blue sea was undeniably refreshing! The kids were also thrilled with snorkeling. I lacked the courage to jump from the big rock and gave up, but everyone else was jumping in one after another.

At one point, my wife unexpectedly got seasick, so we ate the pineapple snacks we had brought back, but it might have been even more special out on the water.

In any case, we were able to enjoy ourselves with clear instructions given in Japanese, which made us feel at ease. Thank you very much!

中学生と小学生の子供2人を連れての初めてのシーカヤックでしたが、丁寧に教えてもらい、操作も簡単で楽しむことができました。
どこまでも青い海を湾岸沿いに進むのは文句なしに気持ちイイ！子供達もシュノーケリングをして大はしゃぎでした。大岩からの飛び込みは全く勇気がなく断念しましたが、皆どんどん飛び込んでいました。
途中で妻がまさかのカヤック酔いとなったので、おやつのパイナップルは戻って食べましたが、海のうえだとまた格別だったかも。
とにかく日本語で明確に指示してもらい安心して楽しめました。有難うございました！

I was able to join a wonderful tour on my first visit to the Big Island of Hawaii. I never expected to see dolphins so up close! Captain Nawa and Daisuke's teamwork really helped everyone relax, and we had a great time for several hours. I also requested transportation this time, and I think my nephews, who joined me, were satisfied as Daisuke shared many stories about dolphins during the car ride.

I definitely want to participate again the next time I go to the Big Island!

初めてのハワイ島でステキなツアーに参加出来ました。
まさか、あんなに近くでイルカちゃんを見ることが出来るとは思っていませんでした。
縄田キャプテンとダイスケくんのチームワーク、そして参加者をリラックスさせてくれて、数時間楽しむことができました。
今回送迎もお願いしましたが、車の中でもダイスケくんからイルカの話をたくさん聞いて、一緒に参加した甥っ子たちも満足だったと思います。

次回ハワイ島に行く時も、是非参加したいです！

Couldn't get all 10 spots so my wife and I stayed back for R&R, but those who went had a great time...loved it. Easy hiking, but not flip-floppable. Would do again.

Stunning beauty and fascinating cultural legacy! We had been before with another company. Both were equally as great, but we didn't book ahead this time. Online-no luck...but when I called the 800 number, Reid Oshiro w Veltra helped with concierge service. Booked my party of 10, emailed and phoned me to confirm, etc. Reid, you were our hero of our week on Hawaii! Before or after your HB trip have lunch at the local pizza place in Waipio and shop the couple of nick-nack shops. Ten mins from trails. Really great food! Nice day!

Family trip with 3 teenage boys. Everyone loved it. Water slides were a fun addition. Good breakfast and lunch including vegetarian options. Snuba on trip was not as fulfilling. Overpriced ($69 additional to cruise charge) and too short(30mins). For the price, they should have included that free with the cruise as others do. Otherwise, great trip. Thanks~

I participated on August 25th. As Mr. Nawata cheerfully said, "Dolphins are natural creatures, so there's no 100% guarantee, but we will do our best!" we entered the water at just the right moment to see many dolphins, and when they disappeared, we boarded the boat again. He also created many opportunities by saying, "This way!" while observing their movements.

The staff members were wonderful. I was very impressed by their proactive support for elderly participants and children. They made sure each participant felt satisfied by bringing us close to the dolphins, saying things like, "You were really close just now, [Name]!" The teamwork was outstanding, with Maddy on the boat loudly informing us, "They are coming toward us from 20 meters away." It was heartwarming to see how much they love dolphins and enjoy their work, conveying their desire for participants to experience this joy.

Meeting so many dolphins up close felt like a dream.

It was so much fun that I participated again during my stay. Mr. Nawata mentioned, "The last time was so great, so don't expect too much this time," but the second time exceeded the first! Right beneath us, a pod of 5 to 6 dolphins danced multiple times. At one point, our swim guide Daisuke joined in on the dolphins' play. It was a very happy sight to witness.

The boat swaying felt like an attraction and was enjoyable, but for those who are not confident with even a little motion, I recommend taking motion sickness medication in advance. It's a wonderful opportunity, after all.

　8月25日に参加しました。「イルカは、自然の生き物だから100％はないけど、ウチは粘るよ～」と縄田さんが明るく笑顔でおっしゃっていた通り、イルカの動きをよんで「さあ、今！」と海に入り、いっぱいイルカに会って、いなくなると、再び乗船。また、動きを見て「こっちだよ」とたくさんの機会をつくってくださいます。

　素晴らしいのが、スタッフの方々。高齢の方や、お子さんを積極的にフォローする姿勢に、大変好感をもちました。また、参加者一人ひとりに、「〇〇さん、さっきすごく近くだったね」「〇〇さんも」とみんなが満足できるように、イルカの近くまで連れていってくださいます。チームワークも抜群で、船上からマディさんが「20m先からこっちに向かってきているよ」など大きな声で教えてくれます。そして、イルカが大好きで楽しんで仕事をしていて、参加者に「この楽しさをぜひ味わってもらいたい」という気持ちが伝わってくることを嬉しく思いました。
たくさんのイルカと、ものすごく近くで会って、夢のような時間でした。

　あまりに楽しかったので、滞在中に再び参加しました。縄田さんは、「前回が良すぎだったから、期待しすぎないでねー」とおっしゃっていましたが…、
2回目は1回目以上！
私たちが浮いている真下で、イルカが5～6頭の群れになって何回も踊って（？）いました。
途中からは、スイムガイドのダイスケくんもイルカたちの遊びに加わっていました。
見ていて、とても幸せな光景でした。

　船が揺れてアトラクションみたいで楽しいのですが、
少しでも揺れに自信がない方は、酔い止めの薬を事前に飲まれることを
おすすめします。せっかくの楽しい機会なので…。

　アロハコナーズの皆様、一緒に乗船した皆様、イルカちゃんたち、ハワイ島の大自然、

Traveling by speedboat was refreshing. The snorkeling was amazing, with the water being very clear and transparent. I was so engrossed in watching the fish that I lost track of time. I was thrilled to encounter dolphins. It was adorable to see a mother and baby dolphin surfacing for air at the same time.
Seeing the vastness of the Big Island of Hawaii from the sea made me feel like I was in a foreign land.

高速ボートでの移動は気持ちがよかったです。シュノーケルは水がとても綺麗で透き通っていました。時間を忘れるほど夢中に魚たちを見ていました。イルカにも遭遇して感動しました。親子のイルカが同時に息継ぎをする姿が可愛かったです。
広大なハワイ島を海から見て、外国を感じることができました。

Crew was awesome and the snorkel site was one of the best we've experienced!

We participated as a family with our three children, aged 11, 8, and 5.

The snorkeling location was quite deep (over 10-15 meters?), and since our youngest child couldn't swim, we had some concerns. However, they provided children's life jackets, and with the floaties we brought, the kids were able to float and enjoy themselves. The older two were initially scared, but as they got used to it, they enjoyed snorkeling in the clear sea. The staff were also very friendly, and the freshly made hamburgers were delicious. We even got to see dolphins along the way, making it a very satisfying tour overall.

Since the boat ride to the snorkeling location is quite long, it's advisable for those prone to seasickness to take motion sickness medication beforehand (the older child got seasick). If you have small children, bringing floaties would enhance their enjoyment as well.

Despite a few challenges, it was a very enjoyable tour, and I can definitely recommend it for families.

シュノーケリングする場所は結構深く（10～15ｍ以上？）、
下の子供は泳ぐことができない為、多少不安もありましたが、
子供用のライフジャケットも完備されており、持参した浮き輪を使って
ぷかぷかと浮かんで楽しんでいました。
上の２人も最初は怖がっていましたが、慣れてくるとシュノーケルを使って
透き通った海を楽しんでいました。
スタッフの方も非常に親切で、焼き立てのハンバーガも美味しかったです。
途中イルカにも会うことができ、ツアーとしては非常に満足できるものでした。

シュノーケリングする場所まで結構乗船する為、船酔いする方は
酔い止めを必ず飲んでいった方が良いです。（上の子は酔いました）
また小さな子供がいるようであれば、浮き輪も持参した方が楽しめると
思います。

いろいろとありましたが、ツアーとしては非常に楽しめるもので
家族連れの方にも十分おすすめできます。

This was my third horseback riding experience in Hawaii. The afternoon reservations were fully booked, so I joined the morning tour. It took exactly two hours to get there from South Kona. I think it would take about an hour from the Waikoloa resort area as well.

We took a van from the meeting point down to the stables. I happened to sit near the sliding door, and since it was open while we were driving, I was able to see the beautiful coastline and waterfalls.

The horse I rode kept stopping multiple times, which made me a bit anxious at the back, but I think even beginners would have no problem riding. I didn't experience any pain in my backside, but towards the end, my knees started to hurt a little, which was tough.

We were able to take photos with the valley in the background. It was my first time entering the river, and I was excited. Perhaps because the water level was high that day, my shoes and even the cuffs of my pants got wet.

They provided a bag to hook onto the saddle for small items like water bottles. I brought my camera and valuables hanging around my neck. I couldn't catch most of the English explanations, so if I had studied the history beforehand, it might have made the experience more profound as a sacred place.

ハワイで3回目の乗馬です。午後の予約はいっぱいで午前のツアーに参加しました。
サウスコナから行ったのできっちり2時間かかりました。ワイコロアのリゾートエリアからでも1時間はかかるかと思います。
集合場所から馬舎まではバンで下っていきます。たまたまスライドドアの近くに座ったら、オープン状態で走行したので海岸や滝がきれいに見れました。
私が乗った馬は何度も立ち止まってしまい後ろの方でやきもきしましたが、初めてのかたでも問題なく乗れると思います。おしりが痛くなることはなかったのですが、最後のほうは膝が痛くなってしまい少しつらかったです。
途中で渓谷をバックに写真を撮ってもらえます。川の中に入るのは初めての体験だったのでワクワクしました。この日は水量が多かったのか、靴はもちろんズボンの裾まで濡れました。
ペットボトルなどの小物は鞍にひっかけるバッグを貸してもらえます。私はカメラと貴重品を首から下げて行きました。
英語の説明はほとんど聞き取れなかったので、前もって歴史を勉強して行くと神聖な場所としてもっと感慨深いものになったかもしれません。

I had never been on a guided horseback ride at a ranch before, so I was a bit worried, but I was completely satisfied. My husband and I participated together, along with five other foreign guests. There were explanations provided in Japanese. I was surprised by the sudden horseback riding, but just as others had shared in their experiences, the horses were well-trained and made for a pleasant ride. Two and a half hours flew by in no time. The vast ranch, the shining sea seen from the mountains—truly, we had a wonderful time. Other ranches might not offer such an experience. The weather changed rapidly, with clouds, sunshine, light rain, and fog, but it felt like we were one with nature, which made it enjoyable. I would love to ride again.

牧場での観光引き馬にした乗ったことがなかったので心配でしたが、もう大満足。夫と二人で参加しました。他には５人の外国人の方。説明は、日本語で書かれたものが用意されていました。いきなりの乗馬。驚きましたが、他の方の体験談を読んだ通りで、馬はよく調教されており、気持ちよく乗せてくれました。２時間半なんてあっという間。広大な牧場、山からみた輝く海、本当にすばらしい時間を過ごすことができました。ほかの牧場ではこんなふうにはいかないかもしれません。曇ったり照ったり小雨が降ったり霧が出たりとめまぐるしく変わる天候も、自然と一体化したようで楽しめました。また乗せてもらいたいと思います。

I participated with my children (ages 13 and 10). Since it was a night activity, I was worried about bringing them along, but there were no issues at all. The size of the manta rays and their impressive presence right in front of us were incredible. We were very excited. The kids were also very satisfied. We would like to participate again next time. However, there is no detailed description of the meeting place (landmarks), so those gathering on-site need to be cautious. A truck towing a boat comes near the public restroom, but the tour name is not displayed, so you have to ask for information yourself. Additionally, while the tour description mentions drinks and snacks, none were provided. This needs to be corrected.

子供（13歳、10歳）を連れて参加しました。夜のアクティビティーだったので、子連れでは心配だったのですが、全く問題ありませんでした。
マンタの大きさと目の前に迫ってくる迫力は凄いの一言。とても興奮しました。
子供達も大満足。また、次回参加したいです。
ただ、集合場所が詳細（目印）の記載がないので、現地集合の人は注意が必要です。
公衆トイレ近くにボートを牽引したトラックが来ますが、ツアーの名称は表記されないので自分から声かけて聞くしか方法がありません。
また、ツアー内容に飲料、軽食の記載がありますが、提供はありませんでした。修正が必要ですね。

I participated with my husband and our 9-year-old daughter. Since my husband speaks English, we decided on this affordable tour, but I think it’s fine even if you can’t speak difficult English, especially if you have snorkeling experience. However, we had to move to the port by ourselves from the tour reception desk.

My daughter, who gets motion sickness easily, took some anti-nausea medication beforehand, and thankfully, she didn’t get seasick. However, it was quite cold floating in the night sea (we participated in August). Even though she wore a long rash guard top and bottom, after floating for nearly 20 minutes and only seeing one manta ray in the distance, she started saying, “I’m cold; I want to get out!” While I was trying to calm her down, a group of five giant manta rays appeared! We forgot about the cold and were just captivated. It felt like we were floating in space. They swirled around us within reach. The staff were friendly and fun, and we had a wonderful experience unique to the Big Island of Hawaii.

夫と９歳の娘と３人で参加しました。夫が英語を話せるので、安いこちらのツアーに決めましたが、シュノーケル経験者の方なら特に難しい英語が話せなくても大丈夫だと思います。ただしツアー受付デスクからは自分達で港まで移動しなければいけません。
酔いやすい娘は、事前に酔い止めを飲ませまた効果か、船酔いはしませんでしたが、とにかく夜の海にずっと浮いてるために冷えます。（８月の参加で）上下ロングラッシュガードを着込んだにもかかわらず、20分近く浮いて、まだ１匹遠くにマンタを見ただけで、「寒くてもうあがりたい〜」と言い出す始末・・・。なんとかなだめていると、そこへ５匹の巨大マンタの群れが〜！！寒さも忘れてただただ見入ってしまいました。まるで宇宙に浮いてる感じです。クルクルと手の届くような位置で回ってくれました。スタッフも気さくで楽しくて、ハワイ島ならではのとてもいい経験が出来ました。

On the boat, they ask for your fin size and provide you with the appropriate ones. They also have snorkeling gear available. They lend you a type of life jacket that wraps around your waist (suitable for both children and adults), so you don’t need to bring your own goggles.

It takes about an hour to reach Cook's Tower by boat, and even though our family took motion sickness medication, we felt a bit queasy. The BBQ cheeseburgers were incredibly delicious, just as mentioned in other reviews! The breakfast muffins were tasty, reminiscent of Costco's.

This was my family's first time participating after visiting the Big Island six times, and we were more satisfied than with any other tour. The beauty of the ocean was amazing.

船の上で、フィンのサイズを聞いて、サイズにあったものを貸してくれます。シュノーケリング道具も。
浮き輪も腰に巻くタイプの（子供から大人まで）ライフジャケット（？）浮きを貸してくれるので、ゴーグルなどの持参も必要ないです。
クックの塔まで１時間くらい船に揺られるので、私たち家族は（酔い止め薬を飲んでいても）少し酔いました。
ＢＢＱのチーズバーガーは他の書き込み通り、とっても美味しかったです！朝食のマフィンはコストコのかな？って感じで美味しかったです。
６度目のハワイ島で、初参加でしたがどの観光よりも満足で、海の綺麗さが素晴らしかったです。
