Not only did I get to see the full view of the Big Island, but I also felt the vibrant life of the island, as if I were watching a movie. The music added to the atmosphere and drew me in even more. It was wonderful how the pilot made sure that everyone could see well from either side. I would love to experience it again if I have the chance.

BIG islandの全貌がわかるだけでなく、島自体の生きている感じが脈々と伝わってきて、まさに映画を観ているようでした。
演出の音楽も気分を盛り上げ、さらに引き込まれました。
どちらのサイドに座ってもちゃんと見れるようにパイロットの細やかな配慮もステキでした。
機会があればまた体験したいです。

Our tour had less light compared to other tours, and people around us mentioned that other places were gathering more plankton. I agree with that. We could only see the mantas from a distance at the neighboring tour, which lacked impact. Additionally, one of the participants was splashing their feet and making noise, which made it seem like the mantas didn't want to come closer. I wished the instructor had better control over the participants.

自分たちのツアーは、他のツアーに比べてライトの量が少なく他のところの方がプランクトンを集めているんじゃないかと周りの人が言ってました。私も同感です。となりのツアーのところに来ているマンタを遠くから見る事しか出来ず、迫力に欠けました。また、同じツアー参加者が、足をバタバタさせて騒ぐので、マンタも近づいてくれなかった様に感じます。インストラクターはもっと参加者をコントロールして欲しかったです。

This time, we went to a point where we could encounter manta rays, but due to the rough sea conditions, the captain wisely decided to return to port. I hope we have another opportunity in the future. However, it was a good experience.

Upon arriving at Honokohau Harbor, we received explanations from a Japanese guide, and I put on a wetsuit for the first time and got ready for snorkeling. I was excited as it felt like the adventure was about to begin. There were about 20 participants, including foreign tourists. We took pictures in our wetsuits. Finally, we set sail. Along the way, we enjoyed the scenery after the sunset. The boat kicked up the rough waves, with sudden drops and rises, and everyone was letting out laughter mixed with screams? It felt just like a roller coaster.

When we reached the point, several boats were already shining their lights, aiming for the manta rays. Our captain carefully navigated the boat, observing the other vessels and communicating to gather information about the manta rays. Unfortunately, it seemed that there were very few manta rays today, and due to the rough waves, we were advised to return to port to avoid fatigue from being in the water.

The tour company had mentioned before departure that, due to the nature of the wild, they couldn't guarantee sightings at the point, so there were no complaints from anyone. However, they kindly explained that we could attempt again for free since we didn't see any manta rays, which I thought was very considerate of the tour company (even though they incurred costs for fuel, drinks, and snacks...). We had another schedule, so we couldn't attempt again this time, but I hope there will be a chance in the future. I am grateful to Veltra and the tour company, Dolphin Hawaii, for providing such a great experience.

今回はマンタと出会えるポイント迄行きましたが海の荒れ状況から船長の賢明なる判断で帰港せざる得なく、またの機会があればなぁと思っております。
でもいい経験が出来ました。
ホノウコウハーバーに到着し、日本人には日本人ガイドさんより説明を受け、初めてのウェットスーツを着てシュノーケリングを付けました。いよいよ始まるって感じでワクワクです。外人観光客も含め約２０名の参加者です。ウェットスーツ姿の写真を撮り合ってます。いよいよ出航です。途中、夕陽が沈んだ後の景色を見ながらの航行です。船は荒波を蹴り、急降下、急上昇あり、皆は笑いを伴う悲鳴？を発してます。まるでジェットコースターの気分。ポイントに着くと十数隻の船が既にライトを照らしマンタを狙っています。私たちの船長は慎重に船を進め他の船の様子を伺い連絡を取リあってマンタの情報を得ています。どうも本日はマンタの数も大変少なく波も荒い為、私たちが海に浸かることにより疲れが生じることから中止、帰港となりました。
催行会社としては出航する前から自然界のことだからポイントに行く迄見れる保証は出来ない旨、話されていたので誰からもクレームは出なかったです。
でも見れなかった代わりに再度の挑戦を無料で実施する旨、説明有り何て良心的な催行会社だろうと思いました(油代、飲料費、お菓子など費用は使っているのに・・・。）私たちは次のスケジュールもあり再挑戦を今回は出来ませんが何時かは分かりませんがもしチャンスがあればそれまでお預けです。ベルトラさん、催行会社のイルカ・ハワイ社にいい体験が出来、感謝しております。

We were the only Japanese people with an English guide. I communicated to our guide, Emi, in English that I didn't understand the language and needed support before boarding. Throughout the trip, she frequently checked in on our health and meal preferences, which made us feel at ease. It was unfortunate that there were guides in the Captain Cook area that I couldn't understand due to the language barrier. However, I was able to enjoy snorkeling at my own pace and had a meaningful experience seeing various fish and corals in two different locations. The meals were served buffet-style, and the hamburger patties were grilled live! The location and delicious aroma were fantastic, and the food was very tasty. Breakfast is provided, but since we gathered at 9 AM and arrived at the first point after departure, I felt a bit nauseous from hunger... In fact, one guest had to return to the port and disembark before heading to the second point due to feeling unwell after entering the water. It might be better for participants to have a little something in their stomachs beforehand.

My mother, who is not fond of water, stayed on the boat the whole time, but she seemed captivated and said, "If they lend out floatation devices in places like this, I think I’ll try going into the sea next time." Emi's voice was very pleasant, making the cruise enjoyable. Since we were staying at the Sheraton Kona, it was also great that we could walk to the meeting point.

英語ガイドで日本人は我々だけ。ガイドのエミさんに「英語がわからないのでサポートをお願いします」とだけ英語で伝えて乗船。 全体にこまめに体調や食事の様子を伺いに声かけしてくださるので、安心して参加できました。キャプテンクックエリアのガイドなどがあったようですが、それが言葉の壁により理解できなかったのが残念。でも、シュノーケルも自分のペースで自由に楽しめるし、二箇所でさまざまな魚やサンゴを観ることができて有意義でした。食事はブッフェ形式。ハンバーガー用のハンバーグはライブグリル！ロケーションと美味しい匂いが最高！とても美味しかったです。朝食は出ますが、9時集合、出航後第1ポイントに着いてからなので、空腹で酔いそうに・・・実際、一度海に入り体調を崩して第2ポイントに向かう前に帰港し下船されたゲストが1名おられました。少しお腹に詰めてから参加される方が良いかもしれまん。
水が苦手な母はずっと船上でしたが、「こういう所で浮き具も貸してもらえるなら次は海に入ってみようと思う。」と海中を実際に見てみたいと魅了されたようです。ガイドのエミさんの声も大変耳心地よく気持ちよくクルーズできました。
シェラトンコナに宿泊していたので、徒歩で集合場所まで行けたのも良かったです。

First of all, it was very good. There is no doubt about that. Additionally, the snorkeling mask and wetsuit were both well-sized and of good quality and condition. When I participate in snorkeling abroad, I often receive large masks meant for foreigners that don't fit my face, leading to unpleasant experiences with seawater getting in. So, I brought my own, but my husband's borrowed one was much better and suitable for seeing manta rays. This allows for a worry-free experience. However, unfortunately, Japanese participants went in first, which caused their bodies to cool down quickly, and my husband ended up being the last to get back on the boat, unable to stop shivering. That was the most disappointing part.

まずは、とても良かったです。それは間違いありません。
それと、シュノーケリング用のマスクもウェットスーツも、きちんとサイズのあった物を選んでくれて、質も状態も良いものでした。
私は海外でのシュノーケリングに参加すると、顔のサイズに合わない外人向けの大きいマスクを渡され、何度も海水が入る嫌な思いをしたので自分用のを持っていったのですが、主人の借りた物の方がとてもよくて、マンタを見るのに適していました。これは、安心して参加して頂けます。
ただ、残念なことに。日本人が先に入ったのですが、そうすると体が冷えるのが早くなるのに、ボートに上がるのが最後になり、主人は体の震えが止まりませんでした。それが一番残念なことです。

Boat is well kitted out with good gear. Staff are on hand to help and provide support if required. Breakfast and lunch were perfect for a morning on the water. Even got to try paddle boarding without having to pay extra for hire

My family and I greatly enjoyed this experience! Even my in laws who just stayed on the boat and watched from above enjoyed the view. These creatures are majestic and beautiful! We saw 8 rays and almost all of them got within a foot of me! I would recommend doing this activity for anyone just remember to take motion sickness meds as sometimes the water is choppy....

The manta rays really swirl right in front of you. You can almost touch them if you reach out, and they even bump into your underwater goggles or the camera you’re holding. It was an incredibly thrilling tour. The downside was the language barrier. My husband and I were the only Japanese people there, so we didn’t understand most of the explanations, but it was still manageable. Also, it was quite cold. The ocean at night gets chilly. The people around us didn’t seem to mind as much, so if you’re not sensitive to the cold, you should be fine.

While looking at the voucher at the hotel, I realized I had overlooked the part about confirming by phone at 4 PM. We were supposed to check in at a store in the shopping center at 6 PM and gather at the local port at 6:30 PM. We originally planned to have an early dinner near the shopping center, and since I wasn’t confident in my English skills, I went directly to the store before 4 PM, and they helped me with the check-in process then. For those staying at the Sheraton, you can depart from the port, which is just a short walk from the hotel, so you don’t need a car.

本当にマンタが目の前でぐるぐる回ります。手を伸ばせば触れるくらい、というか、水中メガネや手に持っていたカメラに、マンタからぶつかってくるくらいです。大迫力のツアーでした。難点は英語。日本人は私たち夫婦のみで、説明はほぼ分かりませんでしたが、それでも大丈夫、何とかなります。それと、結構寒いです。夜の海は冷えます。周りの人たちはそうでもなかったので、寒がりじゃなければ大丈夫でしょうか。ホテルでバウチャーを見ていると、16時に電話で確認というのを見落としていましたのに気付きました。18時にショッピングセンターにある店にチェックイン、18時半に現地の港に各自集合となっていましたが、元々ショッピングセンター近くで早めの夕食をとる予定で、電話は英語力に自信がなかったため、直接16時前に店に行き、その時にチェックイン手続きもしてくれました。シェラトンに宿泊している人は、ホテルから歩いてすぐの港から出発しますので車がなくても大丈夫です。

The scenery was wonderful.
However, the explanations were in English, so I couldn't understand anything at all.
If I had understood the explanations, I might have been even more impressed.
I applied because I saw the Blue Hawaiian Helicopters on Japanese television, but since there are many Japanese people, I hope they could provide support in Japanese.

景色が素晴らしいかったです。
でも英語での説明でしたので全くわかりませんでした。
説明がわかればもっと感動したかもしれません。
日本のテレビでブルーハワイアンヘリコプターをやっていたので申し込みましたが、日本人も多いと思いますので日本語対応があればいいなと思いました。

This is not a Japanese tour, so the guide spoke entirely in English. The staff were friendly, and we had a lot of fun. There seemed to be an explanation about Captain Cook, but we couldn't understand it due to our zero English skills. (laughs) However, I recommend this tour for those who want to see beautiful seas and fish while snorkeling! The sailing was quite slow, allowing us to feel the great outdoors. I wouldn't recommend it for those who are prone to seasickness.

日本語ツアーではないので、ガイドは全て英語。
スタッフさんは気さくな方で、とても楽しかったです。
キャプテンクックについて説明があったようですが、英語力ゼロの私たちには理解できず。笑
でも、シュノーケルで綺麗な海と魚が見たい方にはオススメです！
セーリングもかなりゆっくりで大自然を感じながらのツアーでした^ ^
酔いやすい方はあまりオススメしません。

The weather was great, and I was able to see a beautiful sunset! When I mentioned it was my first time snorkeling, they kindly taught me how to do it. Whether you can see manta rays depends on the timing and conditions of the day, but when I went, I had the best experience of encountering eight manta rays that came close to the surface to feed on plankton. It was so close that I was amazed! After snorkeling, it started to rain and got cold, so if you're going, it might be a good idea to bring a larger towel or something to wear in case it rains; it could help with the cold.

天気にも恵まれキレイなサンセットが見れました！
シュノーケリングが初めてと伝えると丁寧に教えていただけました。
マンタは良く見れるかはその日のタイミングやコンディションによるかと思いますが、私が行ったときはベストで8マイのマンタに出会え、プランクトンを食べに海面近くまで来てくれました。
ぶつかるんじゃないかと思うくらい近かったので感動しました！
シュノーケリング後は雨が降ってきて寒かったので行かれる方は大きめのタオルや羽織れるものなどあるともし雨が降っても寒さはマシかもです。

I was a bit nervous on my first helicopter ride, but with the guidance of the Japanese pilot, I was able to relax and enjoy the journey through the skies. The time spent flying from the ocean to Waipi'o Valley felt like a transition from reality to a divine world, and I found myself in tears from the beauty of nature. Landing at the base of the waterfall, I was overwhelmed with emotion once again, feeling a deep gratitude for being alive. I have become an even bigger fan of the Big Island of Hawaii. I want to tell my friends that they should experience this at least once in their lifetime! Of course, my children and grandchildren will join me next time.

初ヘリコプター搭乗でいくらか緊張していましたが、日本語のパイロットの方のガイドでとてもリラックスして空の旅をたのしめました。
海上からワイピオ渓谷へ進んでいく時間は現実から神の世界への移動、自然に涙が出てきました。
興奮のまま滝壺に着陸、またまた涙があふれてきて大袈裟ですが生きてる！事への感謝の気持ちで一杯になりました。
ますますハワイ島のファンになりました。
友人にも生きている間に一度はこの経験を味って！と伝えたいとおもっています。
勿論子供孫は次回同行します。

A 9-year-old child participated.
At first, they received lectures about sea turtles in a space next to the lagoon. After that, they had a lecture to interact with dolphins, followed by a hands-on experience in the lagoon.
So, while the time is stated as 20 minutes, that is the time spent interacting with the dolphins; in reality, I think we spent about an hour and a half to two hours in total.
The experience activity is quite pricey, but in return, you receive thorough lectures, and the satisfaction level is high. Since the age range for Kids Quest is 5 to 9 years, I felt it was the last chance for my child at this age, and I'm glad we participated.

All lectures and instructions are in English, but they explain things clearly with gestures, so even children can understand well.

9歳の子どもが参加しました。
はじめはラグーン横のスペースでウミガメなどの講義を受けます。その後イルカとふれあうためのレクチャーを受け、ラグーンでふれあい体験となります。
ですので、時間は20分とありますが、それはイルカとふれあっている時間で、実際には1時間半から2時間程度時間を費やしていたと思います。
体験アクティビティとしてはなかなかのお値段ですが、その分しっかりとレクチャーを受けられ、満足度は高いものです。キッズクエストの対象年齢が5～9歳なので年齢的に最後のチャンスだと思い、参加させて良かったです。

なお、講義やレクチャー等全て英語ですが、ジェスチャーを交えてわかりやすく説明してくれるので、子どもでも十分理解していました。

The sensation of my body floating in the sea and the manta ray coming from the ocean floor provided an unprecedented thrill. The cocoa after getting back on the boat warmed my chilled body. Additionally, the cruising from the harbor to the point during sunset is absolutely stunning.

海に浮かぶ自分の体と、海底からやって来るマンタの一体感は、今までにない感動を与えてくれました。船に上がった後のココアは、冷えた体を温めてくれます。又ハーバーからポイント地点までのクルージングも夕日が最高です

I felt the guides' love for the dolphins. We were blessed with good weather and encountered many dolphins. Daisuke and Rei were amazing.

ガイドの方たちのイルカへの愛を感じました。お天気にも恵まれて、たくさんのイルカに出会えました。ダイスケさん、レイさん、最高です。

When I go to the Big Island, I always participate in snorkeling at Kealakekua Bay. At first, I joined the morning session with lunch included, but since this is my sixth time, I now participate in the afternoon session. The catamaran is comfortable and has a restroom. The Captain Cook monument and the bay right in front of you are truly beautiful, with dense coral and lots of tropical fish! I think this is the best place in Hawaii to see fish clearly. Japanese visitors staying on the Big Island tend to go to other tourist spots, and there are usually only Westerners participating in the snorkeling tours, but I really hope everyone can experience this beautiful underwater world. It was a thoroughly satisfying snorkeling experience!

ハワイ島に行ったら必ずケアラケクア湾のシュノーケリングに参加します。
最初はランチ付きの午前の部で参加していましたが、６回目なので
最近は午後の部に参加しています。
トイレも付いているし快適なカタマランです。
キャプテンクック碑、目の前の湾は本当にきれいで珊瑚が濃いので
熱帯魚がたくさんいます！
ハワイでは一番キレイに魚が見れる場所だと思います。
ハワイ島滞在の日本人は皆、他の観光箇所に行きシュノーケリングツア－に
参加する人は少なく毎回欧米人ばかりですが是非このキレイな海の中を
体感してほしいなぁと思います。
大満足のシュノーケリングでした！

My wife wanted to play with dolphins, so she participated alone. I didn't join and just watched from the side, but opportunities to interact closely with dolphins are rare. It looked like she was having a great time just watching. When I asked her later, she said it was really fun, and I thought to myself that I should have participated too. It does come with a certain cost, but considering the emotional experience you gain, I think it's worth participating!

妻がイルカと遊んでみたいというので妻のみ参加しました。私は参加せず傍らで見ていただけですが、間近でイルカとふれあえる機会などそうあることではありません。みているだけでも楽しそうでした。
あとで妻に聞いてみても、すごい楽しかったようで、私も参加しておけばなぁ…と思いました。
それなりの費用はかかりますが、得られる感動を思えば参加してみてもいいと思います！

As we moved to the point where we could see manta rays while watching the sunset, we waited for a few minutes, holding onto the side of the boat. The first manta only briefly showed itself. After that, it didn’t appear for several minutes, and I started to wonder if that was all we would see... but then, suddenly, there were so many mantas! They performed flips right in front of us. A manta with its mouth wide open, another showing its belly while flipping— it was truly a manta extravaganza. It was a moment that only those who have experienced it can understand. The return trip on the boat was cold, so wearing a windbreaker or other warm clothing is essential.

夕日を見ながらマンタの見えるポイントへ移動。
ボートサイドでボードにつかまりながらマンタを待つこと数分。
最初の1枚はチラッと姿を見せただけでした。
その後数分は姿を見せず、こんなもんなのかな…と思ってたら、その後がマンタがたくさん！
目の前で何度も宙返りをしてくれて。大きな口を開けたマンタ。宙返りでお腹を見せるマンタ。まさにマンタ尽くしでした。
体験した人にしかわからないひと時でした。
帰りのボートでの移動は寒いので、ウィンドブレーカーなど寒さ対策は必須です。

I chose this plan because other tour companies didn't offer the opportunity for my 6-year-old child to enter the sea and see manta rays.

It was wonderful to see the manta rays flipping in the air up close, and I was satisfied with this precious experience. The surfboat had a blue light that attracted plankton in the center, and there were ropes around the surfboat for participants to hold onto. While holding onto the rope and peering into the water, we could see manta rays coming to eat the plankton drawn in by the blue light.

We headed to the point from Honokohau Harbor on a speedboat, which was incredibly fast and bumpy. My 6-year-old was really scared at first and clung to me. It seemed like they finally got a little used to it just before we arrived at the point. They said it would take about 20 minutes to reach the point, but it felt longer. The speed was so fast that the front of the boat would hop up and down, making it feel like a roller coaster, which was scary even for me as an adult. The manta rays were very impressive, and my children are saying they want to participate again.

6歳の子供が、海に入ってマンタを見られるのが他のツアー会社にはなかったので、こちらのプランを申し込みました。

マンタの宙返りを間近で見られたのは、とても良かったし、貴重な経験ができたので満足です。サーフボートの中央にプランクトンを集めるブルーライトがついていて、サーフボートの周りに参加者がつかまる用のロープが付いています。そのロープにつかまりながら、海の中を覗くと、ブルーライトに引き寄せられたプランクトンを食べにマンタがやってくるスタイルです。

ホノコウハーバーから、スピードボートでポイントに向かうのですが、凄いスピードかつ、揺れも凄いので6歳の子供は初めはすごく怖がって、私にしがみついていました。ポイントに着く直前位にやっと少し慣れたようでした。ポイント到着まで大体20分と言うことでしたが、もっと長かったように思います。スピードが早くてボートの先端がホッピングするように浮いたり着水したりするので、ジェットコースターに乗っているような感覚で、大人の私も怖かったです。マンタ、とても感動したので、子供達はまた参加したいと言っています。

Taking a helicopter ride around half of the Big Island offers a rare experience where you can witness "the Earth being alive." Driving this route by car takes over eight hours. The last time I visited, I drove around in a rental car, but it took a long time, and I ended up driving in complete darkness. I decided that next time, I would definitely take a helicopter.

With a helicopter, you can see the Haleakalā crater from above in just two hours, and you can land in valleys that are inaccessible by car, allowing you to enjoy waterfalls all to yourself.

Pilot TOSHI, who is Japanese, provides thorough explanations, so there's no need to worry about the language barrier. I highly recommend experiencing your first helicopter flight on the Big Island!

ヘリに乗ってハワイ島を半周すると、「地球が生きていること」を目の当たりにすることができる貴重な経験ができます。
このコースをクルマでドライブすると8時間以上かかります。前回来た時にレンタカーで回りましたが、時間がかかり、真っ暗な中を運転するはめになり、次回は絶対、ヘリでと、決めていました。
ヘリであれば、たった2時間で、しかもクルマでは見られないハレアカラの火口を上空から見ることができ、クルマではいけない渓谷に着陸して、滝を独り占めすることもできます。
日本人パイロットのTOSHIさんが、丁寧に解説してくれるので、言葉の心配はありません。
ヘリ飛行の初体験をぜひハワイ島で！おススメします。

Crew was super friendly and organized. Boat had nice restrooms and was very easy to get in and out of water. Not huge amount of fish but relatively easy snorkel experience. Crew gave short history lesson of the area and Captain Cook. Snacks were chips and fresh fruit.

Seeing the manta rays perform large flips up close in the ocean was breathtaking. Many fish gathered around, creating a scene I had only seen in an aquarium. The manta rays appeared and disappeared repeatedly, and there were times when I just stared at the invisible seabed. Although it was April, the night sea was colder than I had imagined (renting a wetsuit was the right choice). I'm not a strong swimmer and was a beginner at snorkeling, so I was a bit tired towards the end, but I enjoyed it until the very last moment. It was also great that the staff who spoke Japanese provided solid support.

海の中で間近でマンタが大きく宙返りする姿は圧巻でした。魚もたくさん集まってきて水族館の中でしか見たことの無い景色が広がりました。
マンタは、現れたり消えたりの繰り返しで、何も見えない海底をずっと眺めている時間もありました。また、4月でしたが夜の海は想像以上に冷えました(スエットスーツのレンタルは正解でした)。
泳ぎは得意でなく、シュノーケルも初心者だったので、後半は疲れもありましたが、最後まで楽しんできました。
日本語の通じるスタッフがしっかりサポートしてくれたことも良かったです。

On the way to Manta Point, we watched the sunset and saw the green flash. When we arrived at Manta Point, there were already a lot of people there, and I started to worry if manta rays would come to us with so many people around. However, as soon as we got in the water, I was surprised to find that mantas were waiting for us. It might have been the same individual, but we encountered about ten of them (instead of counting them as one or two, they count them as one ray, two rays, etc.), and I was satisfied. On the way back, the boat ride and after landing were unexpectedly dark, and especially on the boat, I struggled to find where to change because it was so dark. I recommend bringing a light.

マンタポイントに行く途中で夕日を眺めました。グリーンフラッシュが見えました。マンタポイントでは既に多数の人がいて、こんなに人がいたら、自分たちのところにマンタが来るのだろうかと不安になりましたが、入水した途端にマンタが待ち構えている状態でビックリしました。同一個体かも知れませんが１０枚くらい(１匹、２匹という代わりに１枚２枚と勘定するのだそうです）出会えて、満足でした。帰路の船中や上陸後は予想外に暗くて、特に船上で着替えがどこにあるのか暗くて分からず、苦労しました。ライト持参をお勧めします。

I had heard that I could request a Japanese pilot, but from pick-up to boarding, everything was in English, which was quite confusing for us as a couple who are not proficient in English. Fortunately, the pilot was a veteran Japanese pilot, and there were Japanese announcements at key points, plus he spoke English slowly, which was helpful. After takeoff, I was continuously moved to the point of forgetting the passage of time. Although we couldn't see the red lava flowing due to the activity of Kilauea Volcano calming down, I was amazed by the pilot's skill in landing effortlessly in a narrow area that was hardly different from the rotor's rotation range. It was a valuable experience that cannot be fully expressed just through personal accounts and images. While it's not a price that can be easily afforded, if you have the financial means, this is definitely a tour you should try.

日本人パイロットをリクエスト出来るとのことだったが、ピックアップも含めて、搭乗までは全て英語で「英語が不得手な夫婦」としては、大いに戸惑いました。幸い、パイロットは日本人ベテランパイロットで、要所要所は日本語の案内があり、また、英語もゆっくり話してくれて助かりました。離陸後は、とにかく感動の連続で時の経つのを忘れるほどでした。キラウエア火山の活動が沈静化して、赤い溶岩が流れるのを見ることは出来ませんでしたが、それ以上に、ヘリのローター回転範囲と大して変わらない狭い場所にピンポイントで楽々と着陸するパイロットの腕に驚嘆しました。体験談とその画像だけでは語り尽くせない貴重な体験でした。気軽に体験出来る料金ではありませんが、経済的余裕があれば、是非トライしてみるべきツアーです。

I was very moved because I was able to see a manta ray up close. I took motion sickness medication just in case, so I was fine, but my daughter got seasick, and the return trip was tough. It took a long time to get to the manta rays, and coincidentally, the waves were high that day, and the next time slot was canceled. If the waves are calm, maybe you wouldn't need the medication? Since it was right in front of the Sheraton Hotel, I thought it might be better for those who get seasick to watch from the hotel. I definitely recommend the manta ray tour that you can only experience on the Big Island.

シェラトンホテルの目の前でしたから、船酔いする人は、ホテルから見た方が良いかなと思いました。
ハワイ島でしか出会えないマンタツアーは是非お勧め致します。

This was one for the books for my wife, and I. You need to know how to swim and snorkel. The Manta Rays were swimming all around us eating the plankton, it was very active during the 45 mins. One went inverted and swam about 1" from our chests. We recorded the footage with a GoPro! This is a bucket list adventure. I would recommend this to anyone!

On the way there, we encountered a whale, so it seems we didn't look for dolphins on the way back. The meeting point was supposed to be near the boat, but in reality, it was at a bench near the port's restroom, and I wouldn't have known where to go if someone from the same tour hadn't called out to me. The snorkeling was fun, and the staff were kind. They provided detailed explanations about the history and geography.

待ち合わせ場所が船の近くとなっていましたが実際は港のトイレの近くのベンチで同じツアーの人に声をかけてもらえなければ分からないところでした。
