但し、
日本語ツアーに行かないと
全く英語での説明、
しかも全く早口日本人に対する配慮はありませんでした。

とにかくクルーズが気持ちよかった
Reviewed by: しんしん, 2014/02/11クジラは、思っていたより近くに現れなかったけれど、数はたくさん見ることができました。天候に恵まれて、穏やかな海の上を風をきって進む感じがなんともいえなく爽快でした。海から見える山の景色も最高です。スタッフは日本語を話せず、参加者も８割は外国の方なので、状況を理解する程度の英語力は必要です。またピックアップの際、ロビーという連絡がありましたが実際にはホテルのエントランスを出てすぐの車寄せのところで乗り合わせていたので、注意が必要です。

まだクジラウォッチングには時期が早いのか
遠方にちらっと現れ、船で近付くといなくなり、
離れると、また遠方に現れる の連続でした。
シーズン初めで船長がポイント慣れしていないのか
もう少し、我慢が必要かなと思いましたね。
日本語は全く通じないので説明含めほとんど理解できず
残念なツアーになりました。

THE BEST ZIPLINE EVENT ON THE BIG ISLAND
Reviewed by: Kathy, 2013/12/26So many things make this the best zip line on the big island including NINE zips, the last one a tandem AND over 1100 ft long but the absolute best part was the tour guides Kalei and Kalani. In fact, Kalani was our ATV tour guide 4 years ago when we were last there. They made this a very fun adventure and encouraged my hubby who was fearful of heights; even he loved it, after the first one! Truly amazing scenery and very fun, patient, and experienced guides. Safety was definitely a priority for them but made our adventure extra special. Thank you Kalei and Kalani!!!

他のオプションは日本人ばかりで日本語のガイドでしたが
始めての回りは外人さんばかりで バスに乗ってもガイドさんの言っている事も分からず 回りを見ながらの参加券貰いに言ったりでしたが
船に乗ってからは〜日本語の分かる方が来て説明して下さり
言葉が分からないながらも 皆さんの雰囲気に入りこんで
楽しみました! !
船の中での Barで作って頂くお酒も
バイキングのお料理もとても美味しかったです!
さすが〜レディーファーストの国
スタッフさん達の気配りも
とても良くて優しかったです!!
心地よい酔いで サンセットを見て
感激そのものでした！！
次回は家族で行きたいです!!

Great Start to a Holiday
Reviewed by: Bea, 2013/10/05This is a great day for an experienced snorkler and, at the same time, individuals less confident in the water. An abundence of sea life, including a manta, a great beach and beautiful vista were all part of the experience. Followed by a smooth but good sail home, it was enough but not too much for a first morning after a late arrival. Food good, crew great and helpful, equipment good and boat comfortable - great for the activity type and well maintained. All in all, a very good experience.

Kohala Whale Watching Tour by Ocean Sports | Kids 0-5 Ride for Free [Dec - Mar]
Whale Watch!
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2013/03/02It was great. As soon as we got out to the ocean, we spotted a mother and a baby whale. We were there for a couple of hours, and we probably saw 5, 6 whales. The staff and the captain did a great job catering all the guests (maybe about 30 of them on board). The naturalist explained a lot about the humpback whales, and it was very educational.
I'd highly recommend this one. It's very family friendly also, and the little kids were very excited to see the real whales in the ocean.

ハワイのサンセットを船の上で見てみたいと思い、英語のアクティビティだったのですが思い切って申し込んでみました。
日本人は私たち夫婦のみ。でも周りの参加者もスタッフのみなさんも優しくて、とてもいい時間を過ごすことができました。
野生のクジラも見られましたよ(^^)
お料理はお肉が多かったですね。もう少し野菜が欲しかったかな。カクテルとデザートのケーキはとてもおいしかったです。

They were cordial, knowledgeable, and very helpful (thanks to Nate for keeping my mai-tais full and even finding a non-alcoholic drink for my pregnant wife :-)). Although we didn't see any whales the cruise was still very fun and the cocktails were fantastic!
"Hawaii Activities" could have done a much better job at communicating with us and Ocean Sports about where to meet. We were told to meet in the lobby of the Marriott for a shuttle... The shuttle never came and we had to do all the leg work to find out that we could have simply went out to the Ocean Sports hut right out on the beach in front of the Marriott. Concentrate on the details instead of the money please.

I suggested the Champagne Sunset cruise on our anniversary date and to renew our vows. I liked the ideal so much I accidently double booked it. A rep from Hawaii Activities called to inform me of the double booking in time for me to cancel one of them as not to be charged twice! The atmostphere was great! There were several couples celebrating anniversaries and newlyweds. The staff was fun and helpful. The ceremony was shared with everyone on board as our choice. The Captain was excited for us and enjoyed performing the ceremony! I recommend this cruise and staff for everyone.

And yes, I understand that I made a mistake booking the tour; however, it is easy for somebody who's never been to the islands to not exactly know where stuff is located. Perhaps, renaming the tour to "coast" helicopter tour would be better, just to be perfectly clear. The price is also a bit steep, though I suppose it is not any higher than other companies'.

The food was delicious and we enjoyed relaxing on the deck, reveling in the ocean breeze as we sailed into the Pacific sunset. Highly recommend this excursion as it's fun for all ages. :)

THE BEST PART OF OUR VISIT!

It was a total rush but we also felt completely safe with our extremely competent guides, Mattie and Jeramiah. Highly recommended. We have a slight fear of heights but the guides made us feel completely comfortable and we had so much fun!
If you're going to zip line in Hawaii, definitely use this company! Thanks again for an amazing experience, Kohala Zipline!

I had never done it before (my husband had) and to be honest I will a little bit scared but as soon as we started I had so much fun. Our guides were amazing. So fun, friendly and careful. We participated along with a family of 5 (3 children and their parents). They had so much fun too! I HIGHLY recommend everyone try this. The lines are safe, the views are spectacular and it will really make your vacation special!

Our guides were nothing short of amazing! They knew so much about the history and it was amazing how much they did know and pointed things out to us! We had the best experience and I would highly recommend ziplining and using Kohala zipline Canopy Adventure! Our instructors, Matt and Ashley, let us have fun and also taught us to be safe. I can not say this enough.....best time of my life!

Reviewed by: Ryan, 2011/05/23I went with my family on the volcano deluxe tour out of Kona and it was awesome. The views were amazing and the staff was awesome. Because of the headphones you wear, the noise wasn't even as bad as I expected.
One thing to watch out for if you get motion sick though is that it can get you sick. I'm very susceptible to motion sickness and got sick even with a couple Dramamine pills before the flight (my family was 2/3 of people getting sick on the flight who are susceptible to motion sickness and both people who got sick were in the front of the helicopter). That said, I thought it was still very worth it even with getting sick.

We saw 9, 3 of which came right up next to the boat. The man who spoke during the boat rode (sorry I don't remember the name) was really knowledgeable and funny, too! We had a great time! Thank you for an experience we'll never forget.

We have gone on a number of them in the Caribbean and Hawaii and have really enjoyed them all.
Our all time favorite was the Holo Holo charter on Kauai that took us over to Napali.
My wife and I, as well as our 3 boys, really like getting out on the ocean in a smooth running catamarran.
The Black Sand Snorkel sail was a blast. We really enjoyed the Sea Smoke and the awesome crew. Kane was very friendly and knowledgeable, and Captain Pat was great as well.
One of the main reasons I booked this particular snorkel sail was that it was close to our condo villiage in the Waikoloa Beach Resort. I think it may have been the only one available in that area since most of the others were out of the Kona area.
The only things I would not comment positively on were the fact that the breakfast offering was not good. All they served were some sliced oranges. Other sails I have been on ha

Ocean Sports Kohala Coast Snorkel Cruise with Lunch and Open Bar

Reviewed by: Paul, 2010/07/29Excellent. To start, we went out on the Sea Smoke, little did we know, this was owned by James Arness (Gun Smoke TV show) and he raced this from LA to Hawaii and beat the pack by 2-days… So we were sailing on a piece of history.
Crew was awesome and extremely hospitable. Equipment was very good; food and beverages were high quality and fresh.
We arrived at the dive spot and it was amazing, sea turtles to say the least. The black sand beach was amazing and really different than the typical white sugar sand that most beaches are made of.
I would recommend this to all skill levels and all ages.
On the way back they sent up the sails and turned the engine off, we enjoyed the speed and stability that 60’ catamarans are famous for.
If you have a chance, don't miss this opportunity to view the Big Island and its beautiful coastline from the ocean… Well worth the 4-hour snorkel adventure and very convenient to find as this is anchored at the Waikoloa Marriot.
