I am very satisfied.
I participated with a friend.
On the day, there were five of us: a couple and an elderly woman!
Since it was a small group on a compact boat, getting on and off was smooth.
During the three snorkeling sessions, we encountered large groups of dolphins each time!
The first time, there were about 150 dolphins in the group!
The second time, we even encountered a manta ray!
The water clarity at the third snorkeling spot was amazing!!!
It felt like a dream to see dolphins so clearly and so close. They were within reach (though touching is not allowed). The guide mentioned that such experiences are rare, so we were lucky to participate at the best time. I don't think this always happens... However, it seems that no one has ever missed seeing dolphins.
Our guide, Daisuke, was a very reliable and nice guy, and the captain was also quite a nice guy.
I really had a great time. Thank you very much.

For those who are not confident swimmers, there are helpers available, and wearing a wetsuit increases buoyancy.
It was truly a tour that made me want to participate again.
If you're hesitating, I highly recommend it!

However, I went without a pickup and drove to the meeting place, but I mistakenly went to the wrong restroom and ended up being late.
Since there was no detailed map or communication regarding the location from the booking through Alan1, I recommend checking the tour company's website to confirm the location properly. It can be a bit confusing.
Also, it mentioned snacks would be provided, but there was nothing in particular; just drinks after the tour.

当日はご夫婦と一人のおばあさん！！の5人でした。
少人数制で乗り降りしやすい小型ボートなのでスムーズに
乗り降り出来ます。
3回のシューノーケル時、3回共イルカの大群！！
1回目は150頭はいるほどの大群！
2回目はなんとマンタにも遭遇！！
3回目の地点の海の透明度ったらすごいです！！！
あんなにイルカがはっきりと、こんなにも近くで会えるなんて夢のようなひと時でした。手を伸ばせば触れてしまう程の距離でした（お触りNGですけどね）。こんなことはなかなかないっておっしゃっていたので、最高の時に参加出来ました。いつもこうとは限らないとは思いますが・・・。しかしイルカに会えなかったなんて事は今までにないそうです。
ガイドのダイスケ君はとても頼りがいのあるナイスガイですし、キャプテンの心意気もかなりなナイスガイです。
本当に楽しかったです。ありがとうございました。

泳ぎが苦手な方でもヘルパー的なものもありますし、ウェットスーツを着用するので浮力も増しますよ。
本当にまた参加したいと思えるツアーでした。
迷っているなら是非っ！！お勧めです。

ただ、当方送迎なしでレンタカーで集合場所まで行ったのですが、集合場所のトイレを間違えて時間に遅れてしまいました。
こちら（Alan1)からの申し込みですと、詳しい場所の地図等
連絡やメールがないので、ツアー会社のHPを見てしっかりと
場所を確認することをお勧めします。ちょっとわかりずらいです。
あとスナック付となっていますが、特になにもなかったです。終わった後のドリンクだけでした。

Just seeing dolphins from the boat was exciting, but being able to get in the water and swim with them was amazing! It's a must-see. The boat is small, so it's not scary to enter the water from a high position, and wearing a wetsuit keeps you warm and helps you float well. If you're not confident in your swimming, they also provide floatation devices that you can hold onto. We were really happy and had so much fun when we made eye contact with the dolphins and found ourselves surrounded by them! I wonder if they were thinking, "Who are these guys?" Luckily, we also got to see a manta ray that day. The guides were kind and really helpful, and I definitely want to come back to the Big Island. Oahu is urban and too crowded for me, so I really love the Big Island. See you again!

I believe that most of the Japanese participants in this tour were those who couldn't book a Japanese-language tour. I would like to share the details of the tour.

The tour began with participants being picked up in a large Land Cruiser, and the guide provided explanations through a microphone while driving. There were about 16 participants in total, and the vehicle was full. There was one young couple, but the rest were middle-aged couples from English-speaking countries. Among them, my spouse and I were the only Japanese. At the start of the tour, the guide introduced each participant, and we responded when our first names were called.

After about an hour, we stopped at a former ranch site for a break. There were portable toilets available. The main dishes, snacks, and drinks that we had selected during registration were distributed, and we enjoyed an early dinner around a table inside a tent. After that, we were handed bottled water and warm clothing (just jackets). We drove along a steep, bumpy road, enjoying views of the sea of clouds as we headed for the summit. We arrived at the top about an hour before sunset; it was drizzling below, but here it was beautifully clear. We visited the observatory from the outside, took photos, and watched the setting sun.

After it got dark, we moved to the mountainside, warmed up with the snacks and cocoa we were given, and finally began stargazing using lasers and telescopes. It was an hour of enjoying the starry sky and the Milky Way. Finally, we stopped at the Onizuka Visitor Center to use the restroom and buy souvenirs before heading home.

I had heard in advance that it would be quite cold, so I brought a lot of clothes, but it wasn't cold at all on the day of the tour. I think if you're going on a sunset tour from April to October, you don't need to worry too much about the cold. Also, no one in our tour group had any issues with altitude sickness. A flashlight was very helpful; each person should have one as a necessity.

The guide's English was fast-paced, almost like a DJ, making it difficult for us to catch everything. I believe there was an explanation of the overall schedule at the beginning of the tour, but I couldn't understand it. I managed to pick up on keywords and follow along with the group. For those taking an English tour, I think it would be helpful to study the English names of constellations and stars in advance to assist with comprehension.

こういうツアーに参加される日本人の方々は、ほとんどが日本語ツアーをとれなかったので、という方々だと思います。ツアーの様子をお伝え出来ればと思います。
ツアーの流れは大型のランドクルーザーで参加者をピックアップし、その後ガイド氏が、運転をしながら道中色々とマイクで説明をして進んで行きます。参加者は全部で１６人位だったかと思います。満席でした。
一組だけ若いカップルがいましたが、後はみな英語圏の中年のカップルでした。その中で、日本人は我々夫婦だけでした。ツアーの始まりにガイドさんから一人一人参加者の紹介がありました。ファーストネームを呼ばれたら返事をします。

1時間ほどして、途中牧場跡地で車を降りて、休憩を取ります。仮設トイレもあります。申込時に選んでおいたメインディッシュ、お菓子、飲み物等が配られ、テントの中のテーブルを囲んでの早めの夕食です。その後、ボトルに入った水と防寒服（上着のみ）が手渡されます。急こう配のでこぼこ道を走り、途中雲海を眺めたりしながら山頂を目指します。サンセットの1時間ぐらい前に山頂に到着、下界は小雨でしたが、ここは綺麗に晴れていました。外観からの天文台見学をしたり、写真を撮ったりしながら、沈みゆく夕日を眺めました。

暗くなってから山の中腹に移動し、配られたお菓子とココアで暖まった後、いよいよレーザーと天体望遠鏡を使っての星空観測です。満天の星と天の川を堪能した1時間でした。最後に鬼塚ビジターセンターでトイレを済ませ、お土産を買って帰路につきました。
事前の情報ではかなり寒いように聞いたので、服をいっぱい持っていきましたが、当日は全然寒くありませんでした。４月～１０月頃のサンセットツアーなら寒さには神経質にならなくても良いのではと思います。また、いわゆる高山病についても私たちのツアーでは全員問題ありませんでした。役に立ったのは懐中電灯です。1人1個は必需品です。
ガイドさんの英語は、ちょうどＤＪのようなノリで早口でした。我々の力では聞き取るのは難しかったです。ツアーの始めに全体のスケジュール説明もあったとは思いますが、わかりませんでした。

I was able to fulfill my long-time dream of swimming with wild dolphins!

On this day, we found a pod of dolphins while moving. As we entered the water ahead of them and waited, I could hear their calls getting closer, and the dolphins swam right beneath me.

Although the sea was deep, they provided flotation devices, so there was no need to worry! My husband was able to tread water and dive freely without borrowing one. I borrowed a flotation device because I was anxious, but I think those who can swim on their own can get closer to the dolphins without one.

We entered the water three times that day and were able to see many dolphins. The small boat made it easy to get on and off, allowing everyone to enter the water at the same time, which was great.

Our guide Daisuke was in the water, and Mr. Nawata was on the boat, both working hard to guide us, saying things like, "Just 5 meters out! There! Stay right there! They’ll be coming in about 20 meters!"

I want to practice diving before our next trip so I can see the dolphins even closer.

I had a very enjoyable and precious time! Even after returning home, I look at the photos every day and remember the excitement. Thank you, Mr. Nawata and Daisuke.

I was able to take many dolphin photos with the digital camera I bought for this day.

この日は移動中のイルカの群れを見つけてくれました。
先回りして海に入りイルカ達を待っているとだんだん鳴き声が近づいてきてイルカが私の下を泳いで行きます。

足のつかない海ですが、浮き具を貸してくれるので心配は無用です！夫は立ち泳ぎもできるし、潜れるので借りずに自由に潜っていました。
私は不安なので浮き具を借りましたが、自分で泳げる人は浮き具なしの方がイルカに近づけると思います。

この日は３回エントリーしてたくさんのイルカを見ることが出来ました。船が小さく、乗り降りがスムーズに出来るので、全員同時に海に入れる点が良かったです。

ガイドの大輔さんは海の中から、縄田さんは船の上から『あと沖へ５ｍ！そこ！そのまま！あと２０ｍ位で来るよ！』と少しでも近くで私達にイルカを見せようと一生懸命誘導してくれます。

より近くでイルカを見たいので次回は潜る練習をしてから行きたいなと思います。

とっても楽しく貴重なひとときを過ごせました！
帰ってからも毎日写真を見て感動を思い出しています。
縄田さん、大輔さんありがとうございました。

この日の為に買ったデジカメでもたくさんイルカの写真が撮れました。

My husband and I participated together. I can't swim very well, but they provided me with a swimsuit and floatation devices, so I was fine. We were able to easily meet dolphins without searching for them. The staff member Daisuke took us close to the dolphins. He also took photos for us and made the experience very enjoyable. Dolphins came right up in front of us. The bubble rings created by the dolphins rose up from the ocean floor, and it was beautiful. I was truly moved. There was also a baby dolphin. My husband said he saw a manta ray as well. The captain was friendly, and since there were only a few of us, it felt very relaxed. The boat was small, but it was comfortable enough. Ocean rafting was exhilarating, as we sped towards the waves, making me want to shout with joy. The snorkeling was fantastic, with so many fish that I never got bored. We enjoyed chatting while eating fruits and snacks on board. Later, as we approached the cliffs, they showed us the rock layers and explained the lava formations. It was a lot of fun. The meeting point was a bit hard to find.

It was my first time, so I was a bit skeptical about rafting. It was quite fast and bouncy, and our captain playfully took sharp turns, making the journey to the snorkeling point a fun activity. The tour guide spoke only in English, so I couldn't understand anything, but they provided a Japanese printout before boarding.

We saw sea turtles twice in different locations, and the dolphins came close enough to swim alongside us. We even got to see baby dolphins jumping, which was a rare experience! The speed made the wind feel really nice, and I didn't realize how strong the UV rays were... My husband ended up getting sunburned to the point of peeling!

初だったのでラフティング？どんなかなあ・・と半信半疑の参加でした。
結構スピードが出るしはねるし又キャプテンのいたずらで急カーブしてくれたりとシュノーケルポイントに着くまでも楽しいアクティビティーです
観光ガイドは全て英語なので全く分からずですが乗船前に日本語のプリントをくれます
ウミガメは一匹ずつ別場所で2回、イルカは手の届きそうな所まで近づいて一緒に泳げたり赤ちゃんイルカのジャンプが見れたりと貴重な体験がいっぱいです(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)
スピードがあるので風がとっても気持ちよくついつい紫外線の強さを感じさせず・・・主人は顔ズル剥けになる位焼けちゃいました(^^;)

I joined this tour on a friend's recommendation. It was a small group, which allowed for flexible movement to dolphin spots, and I felt reassured by the attentive guide. We were able to see dolphins in several locations, witnessing them flying, sleeping, and playing multiple times. Since we didn't have to use floaties, we could dive or swim like the dolphins, making it a truly mystical experience. The guides were all very kind, and I was completely satisfied. I had no idea such a marine world existed! I will definitely participate again.

My husband and I participated together, and I finally fulfilled my long-time dream of "swimming with dolphins"! A group of dolphins swam gracefully by, close enough that I felt I could reach out and touch them! There were also adorable baby dolphins. While we couldn't play with them, I was so happy to hear their voices.

The dolphins' performance is a must-see! They followed the boat and surfed, showing off impressive jumps with twists, just like Kohei Uchimura.

First, I was told that I needed to reconfirm my reservation, but when I called, they said that if I had questions about directions or anything else, I should call, but if not, there was no need to call. I felt a bit let down by that. Since it was a morning tour, I parked my rental car at the free parking lot past the nearby ABC Mart. There are restrooms at the pier, and while it's possible to change there, as others have mentioned, it's better to come dressed for the occasion. After signing, we boarded the rubber boat by group and set off. Until we reached the bay, we made sudden turns and sped along at an incredible pace. We stopped at a spot where there were lots of dolphins, and they took their time there, providing excellent service. It was really fun, but my 70-year-old mother kept saying how scared she was. On the way back, she seemed to be enjoying it more, perhaps because she got used to it. The snorkeling was just okay. The clarity wasn't as good as I expected, and there weren't a huge variety of tropical fish. Still, I had a great time. The staff were very cheerful and fun, and I felt a bit guilty for needing their support for my elderly mother.

I had heard that the Kona area has little rain, but it seems this year has been quite rainy, and the day we attended the luau show was a disaster (crying).

First, we checked in at the luau desk in the hotel. It was popular, so there was a line, but it was completed smoothly. However, when we went out to the beach, there was a long line. The host was speaking amusingly, but those in the back couldn't hear at all. After entering, I purchased a women's dendrobium lei for $6 and a men's kukui lei for $5. We took a commemorative photo here, but due to the chaos from the heavy rain afterward, photos were not available for purchase anywhere.

We were seated at a table with Americans, greeting and shaking hands. Drinks were free, but since there was only one lady serving, there was another long line. The meal included poi and about three types of meat. The taste was American-style, which I liked.

Just as the meal began, it started to rain... what began as a light drizzle quickly turned into a decent downpour, and everyone was given bath towels to cover their heads. The tablecloth, the trays with food, and everything got soaked from the rain. The drinks were diluted by the rainwater.

Originally, there were supposed to be various activities before the meal, but as the rain intensified, everything was cleared away in about 15 minutes. We couldn't participate in anything. There was no whole roasted pig either. The main show ended up being super fast-paced and finished in no time (laughs). It was supposed to end after 8 PM, but surprisingly, it wrapped up by 6:30 PM, and the band, food, and audience all cleared out immediately.

Despite this disappointing experience, only a few people left their seats, and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves to some extent until the end. I had high expectations based on good reviews, and since it was my first day on the Big Island, I was really looking forward to it, but it ended up being a letdown. I'm unsure if I would want to see it again next time.

ドリンクはフリーですが、おばちゃん一人で対応しているのでこれまた長蛇の列。食事はポイなどもあり、お肉の種類も３種類ほどありました。味もアメリカンな味で私は好きです。
さて食事が始まってすぐに雨が,,,小雨だったの束の間、そこそこの雨が降り出し、全員にバスタオルが配られ皆が頭からすっぽり白いタオルをずっとかぶってました。テーブルクロスも食事の入ったトレーも料理も全部雨でぐしょぐしょ。グラスのお酒は雨で薄まって水になってました。

本来なら食事前に色んなアクティビティがあったようですが、雨が強くなってどれも１５分ほどで撤収。何も参加できず。豚の丸焼きもありませんでした。
肝心のショーも超早送りであれよあれよという間に終わって（笑）２０時過ぎ終了予定がなんと１８時半には終わって、バンドも料理も観客も即撤収。
そんな散々な内容でしたが、席を立つ人は数名だけで、みんな最後までそれなりに楽しんでいました。

口コミも良く、初ハワイ島初日だったので期待していましたが、残念な結果に終わってしまいました。次回もう一回観るかは悩むなー

We participated as a family of three with our 10-year-old son. This was our first experience with snorkeling, and despite not being great swimmers, we wanted to swim with dolphins. After considering various options, we decided to join Mr. Nawata's tour! The reasons were the small group size of eight people and the five-star service from the staff.

Having actually participated, I can confidently say that choosing this tour was the right decision! Mr. Nawata took great care of our son, allowing him to see the dolphins up close, which made him extremely happy! We were also able to chase the dolphins without worrying about our son (though we were quite busy with our own excitement).

Here are the good points about participating in Mr. Nawata's tour:
- With a maximum of eight participants, we didn't waste time getting on and off the boat, which increased our opportunities to swim with the dolphins (larger boats tend to take longer).
- The boat was specifically for snorkeling, so we were close to the water's surface, making it completely non-threatening for us, even as beginners.
- The staff were very attentive. As mentioned, Mr. Nawata was dedicated to taking care of our son, allowing him to see the dolphins up close. Swim guide Michi and the captain also constantly pointed out where the dolphins were so that participants could see them well!

I participated on September 22nd. I have experienced diving and snorkeling in various islands, including overseas, but swimming close to wild dolphins and hearing their voices live was a first for me, and it was an emotional experience that is hard to put into words. The guides, Mr. Nawata and Ms. Tsuyako, were very kind and provided heartfelt guidance. They help ensure that even solo participants or those who are not very comfortable in the water can enjoy the experience. What impressed me the most was the enthusiasm they showed in wanting to convey the beauty of Hawaii to the guests. When we returned to the port, we took a moment to search for whales, as it was mentioned that they had arrived early in Hawaii this year. Unfortunately, we couldn't spot any, but more than anything, I was reminded of the "curiosity" and excitement that I often forget in the urban life of Tokyo. I heard that in winter, you can meet whales, so I hope to come back someday to see them.
It's a wonderful recommended tour that is small in number, homey, safe, and truly moving!

Thank you very much for your support on September 13th. Thanks to Mr. Nawata and swim guide Michi, I had a very enjoyable dolphin swim. I believe even those who can't swim can feel safe swimming with the dolphins with the support of floatation devices and the swim guides.

The dolphin swim involves chasing after dolphins that are moving south, and it’s a repetitive process of chasing and swimming. Aloha Kona Tours has a capacity of 8 people (there were 6 during my time), so compared to tours with 20 people, the boarding and disembarking is quicker, allowing for more time swimming with the dolphins. While you can't know for sure until you go, there are many boats out in the ocean for dolphin tours, and some are quite large. Aloha Kona Tours is definitely a better deal!

By the way, the boat (about a 20-minute ride) can be quite rocky, so motion sickness medication is a must. If you get sick, you won't be able to enjoy it. Also, if you bring a hat, make sure it has a strap to keep it secure, or it will get blown away. On the way there, a swimsuit is fine, but on the way back, since your body will be wet and cold, it’s good to have a light jacket. 縄田さんとスインムガイドのミチさんにしっかりサポートしていただいたおかげで、とても楽しいドルフィンスイムになりました。
ミチさんも「こんなに遊びモードのイルカは久しぶり！」と言っていたほど、イルカにたくさん遊んでもらえて大満足でした！
泳げない人でも浮輪とスイムガイドさんのサポートで安心してイルカと泳げると思いますよ。

ドルフィンスイムは南下して移動してくるイルカを追いかけて泳ぐ→追いかけて泳ぐ→追いかけて泳ぐという繰り返しなのですが、アロハコナツアーズさんは定員８名なので（私の時は６名でした）、２０名い乗ってるツアーなどに比べて乗り降りが早くイルカと泳ぐ時間が長いようです。
行ってみないと分からないですが、海にはイルカツアーのたくさんの船が出ていて、かなり大所帯の船もありました。
絶対アロハコナツアーズさんの方がお得ですよ~☆

ちなみにボート（片道２０分ほど）はなかり揺れるので、酔い止め必須です。酔ってしまっては楽しめないので。
また、帽子は紐付きで固定できる物でないと飛ばされてしまうので持って行っても意味ないです。
行きのボートは水着だけで大丈夫ですが、帰りは体が濡れて冷えているので薄い上着が一枚あるといいです。
私は水中カメラを持って行ったのですが、イルカを見るのに夢中でちゃんと撮れたのは１枚くらいでした（；；）
でもまずは肉眼でちゃんと見るのが優先だと思うので、写真は諦めてムービーモードで回していれば良かったと思いました・・・。

でもミチさんのサイン帳にＰＣのアドレスを書くと、後日ミチさんが撮ったイルカの写真が送られてきますよ。（とっても良く撮れてます！）

I had experience with dolphin watching, but I joined the tour expecting to swim with them. I thought we would only see them from a distance in the water, but they actually swam right next to us. 感激したのはイルカばかりではない。この日はイルカがなかなか見つからずかなり船を走らせたが、スタッフみんなが何とか参加者により沢山のイルカを見せてくれようと群れを探し、見つかって海に入るとキャプテンは船の上から、ガイドのお二人は海中でこっちこっちと常にイルカのいる所を教えてくれた。またツアー後もミチさんが自身で撮られたイルカの写真を送って下さるというのでメールアドレスをお伝えしておいたら、早速にとてもクリアな素晴らしい画像を送ってくださった。自分達でも写してはいたがどうしてもイルカのスピードについていけず、上手く撮れていなかったので大変嬉しい心遣いだった。

船上でのおしゃべりも楽しく、ハワイ島での楽しみ方もいろいろ教えていただいた。スタッフ皆さんが本当に気持ちの良い方ばかりだったのでよりツアーを楽しめたのではないかと思う。
今回はシュノーケル初体験という方や小学生のお子さんもいたが、そのアテンドも大変きめ細かく、初心者でも安心して参加できるツアーだと思った。
船は小さいボートで参加者も８名が定員だが、それがかえってイルカと泳ぐには良いよいのだそう。実際イルカを見つけては彼らが泳いできそうな所に先回りして海に入って待つ、イルカが通り過ぎると船にあがり、また先回りして海に入る、の繰り返し。船が大きいと小回りがきかないし、人数が多いと全員が船にあがるのにも時間がかかってしまい、イルカを見る回数が減ってしまうとのことだった。

The food was not very good this time. I didn't get the choice I requested on their website (beef) and instead got cold/dry chicken. I went with Forest and Trails since I used them for this tour the last time I was on the Big Island. The last time we stopped near the Ranger station and were allowed to go in and look at the exhibits, this time we parked in a remote corner and were too far away. The views were amazing and well worth the little issues that came up.

オアフ島では何回か野生のイルカツアーに参加しました。今回はハワイ島でのイルカツアーは凄いらしいと噂を聞いて予約しました。イルカを追い求めてボートを海上に縦横無尽に走らせ、凄く近くまでイルカ達が来てくれる場所まで連れて行ってくれました。親子イルカや遊んでいるイルカ達を近くで見ることができて、大感激だったのですが、ツアースタッフの方々はいつもより少なくて残念と言ってました。じゃあ、いつもの時に参加できたら本当に群れと泳げるのか！！！と。次回のハワイ島では必ず予約しようと決めました。参加している方の中で防水100％のデジカメで撮られた水中のイルカ達の写真がとてもきれいだったので、次回は防水デジカメ持参で参加したいです。このツアーに参加した後に、オアフ島のリクリエーション的なイルカルアーは楽しいけれども、もういいかな、、、と個人的には思いました。
