I was so excited for my first tour swimming with dolphins! However, I’m not a great swimmer and hadn’t swum in about ten years, so I was a bit nervous wondering if I would be okay. But there was absolutely no problem at all.

Lucky for us, a large pod of dolphins came by multiple times, and I lost count of how many dives we did. Interestingly, no other boats were out that day, so it felt like we had Aloha Tours all to ourselves.

When we got really close to the dolphins, they didn’t seem to avoid us at all and showed such curious expressions; they were so cute! I was moved by the sight of dolphins playing with each other, a mother and her baby swimming together, their adorable sounds, and the beautiful bubbles created by their breathing sparkling through the curtain of light. It was a wonderful experience to be in such a beautiful, mysterious world, and the time spent with them became a cherished memory.

Also, Daisuke's bubble ring diving performance was amazing; he looked just like a dolphin! Lei was always cracking jokes, which kept the atmosphere lively and made it so much fun! Thank you so much for allowing us to meet the dolphins!!

初めてイルカと一緒に泳ぐツアーにワクワク！しかし泳ぎは得意じゃないし、もう１０年位は泳いでいなかったので（いきなり大丈夫か？）とドキドキでしたが全く問題なかったです。
ラッキーなことに何度もイルカの大群がやって来て何度ダイブしたか分からなくなる程でした。またこの日は何故か他の船が一隻も出港しておらず、アロハツアーズ貸切状態でした。

イルカ達と大接近した時も私達を避ける様子もなく、興味ありげな表情を見せてとても可愛かったです。イルカ同士がじゃれ合っている様子や親子で泳ぐ姿、可愛い鳴き声、そしてイルカの呼吸でできた美しい泡が、光のカーテンの中をキラキラと流れていく光景に感動しました。美しい神秘の世界にお邪魔させて頂き、共に過ごせた一時が幸せでとても良い思い出になりました。
また、ダイスケさんのバブルリング潜りのパフォーマンスも素晴らしく、まるでイルカのようでしたヨ！レイさんもジョークを飛ばして船上では常に盛り上がりとても楽しかったです！イルカちゃん達に会わせて頂き、本当にありがとうございました！！

I participated with my 4.5-year-old child, and they provided us with kids' masks and boards with viewing windows, which allowed my daughter to enjoy herself.

There was a decent variety and number of fish, and although the visibility was okay, I appreciated that we weren't trying to catch fish with sausages. The slide and diving board required just the right amount of courage, which was great. The restrooms on the boat were also clean.

The speed of speaking in English was fast, but they provided important information on a paper written in Japanese, so I felt there were no issues at all. (My language skills are at a level where I can manage basic conversations in English.)

We received plenty of snacks and fruits, the timing was just right, and dolphins swam alongside us on the way back, so I think the affordable afternoon plan was a good choice.

4歳半の子どもと参加しましたが、キッズ用マスクや、覗き窓つきボードを貸していただき、娘も楽しむことができました。

そこそこの種類と数の魚、透明度でしたが、ソーセージで魚集めるようなこともしていなかったので、好感がもてました。
滑り台や飛び込み台は、ほどよい勇気が必要なレベルで良かったです。
船内のトイレも清潔でした。

英語を喋るスピードは早いですが、重要事項は日本語で書いた紙を渡してくれますので、全く問題ないと感じました。(私の語学力は、軽く英会話ができる程度です)

スナックやフルーツも沢山頂け、時間も適当、イルカも帰りに並走してくれたので、値段が安い午後プランで良かったかなと思います。

I participated in a dolphin tour with a friend for the first time. I have joined one in Oahu before, but the water here was even clearer than in Oahu! We saw dolphins multiple times! My friend looked tired from desperately chasing after the dolphins, but they had a great time. The port was very close to the hotel we were staying at, so it was easy to get there and we were able to make good use of our time.

In the morning, a handsome guide took us to a spot where dolphins gather. From the boat, we could see the dolphins jumping, and the excitement was high. Once we entered the water, guided by the handsome guide, we were able to swim right next to the dolphins, which was an incredible experience! The dolphins came back multiple times, so we swam until we were exhausted. Advanced swimmers were diving down to take photos.

There were many boats on the water, but once you’re in the sea, the crowd isn’t too bothersome. There are no shower facilities, but if you go to the boat's washing area, you can rinse off the seawater along with the boat (laughs). There’s a spacious restroom, so you wear your swimsuit on the way there and change back in the restroom on the way back. 海上には多くのボートが集まっていましたが、海に入ってしまえば人の多さはさほど気になりません。
シャワー設備はありませんが、ボートの洗い場へ同行すれば、ボートと一緒に海水を落とすことはできます(笑)　広いトイレがあるので、往きは水着着用、帰りはトイレで着替えます。
車酔いする方は、予め酔い止めを飲んだほうがよいです。ボートが結構揺れるので、かなり辛そうな方がいました。

シュノーケリングは2回しか経験がなかったですが「日本語ガイドがしっかりサポート」というHPの言葉を信じて参加してみました。
最初に泳ぎが苦手な人の確認をして気を配ってくれますが、人数が多いとさすがにガイドさん２人では手が足りなくなるので完全サポートとまではいきません。
でも、ウエットスーツの仕組みを説明して安心させてくれたり、浮き棒をすぐに渡してくれたりできる限りのサポートをしてくれます。
おかげで２回目のダイブからは浮き棒無しでもなんとか泳げました。というか、ない方が早く泳げる！
肝心のイルカは運が良く、すぐに出会えました。
イルカの横を泳ぐ訳ではなく、イルカの進路に先回りしてイルカが下を泳ぐのを待っている感じでしたが、同じ場所を泳いでる感動がありました。
おそらく1時間近く海を漂ってたと思いますが、イルカを追っていてあっという間でした。
また参加してしたいです。

In fact, our captain was determined to find them for us. About an hour after leaving the port, we spotted the dolphins! I could only do a flutter kick, but our guide, Aki, held my hand and encouraged me, saying, "Look down! Relax!" while we snorkeled. I was able to see a pod of dolphins up close! Of course, it’s different from seeing them in an aquarium! We continued to dive three more times while chasing the pod of dolphins. The captain made sure that all participants got to see and enjoy the dolphins. His dedication to ensuring everyone was satisfied was incredible! The only regret I have is that I participated without cash, so I couldn’t give a tip. I truly regret that. Thank you to Captain Noda and Aki, who guided me to see the dolphins! Aki is very knowledgeable about coffee. On the way back to the port, we stopped by a coffee shop, and the Kona coffee was truly delicious and not sour at all! This was also a wonderful experience from participating in the tour.

Our family tends to be more indoorsy, and with many of us not being able to swim, we were able to enjoy ourselves safely thanks to the kind and friendly Nao and the handsome and fun Rei, who provided us with constant support. Since there was no shuttle service, we took an Uber to the dock for $20. When we signed up for the trip, it turned out that we were the only ones on the boat. It seems that the other participants, all from English-speaking countries, were on separate boats with their families. After visiting the blowhole, we went snorkeling at Captain Cook's Cove, where we saw a lot of tropical fish. Our guide, Ray, was very engaging and considerate during the trip, making it a comfortable and enjoyable experience. It would be a real shame not to participate in a dolphin tour while visiting the Big Island!

海に入ってからは少し泳ぎますが、すぐ目の前をイルカたちがたくさん泳いでいてとても感動しました。手が届きそうなほど近くでした！
ウエットスーツなので浮くため安心して海に入れました。泳ぎが苦手な方が心配していましたが、ウエットスーツに加えて浮き具も貸してもらえててガイドさんが浮き具を引っ張ってくれたようで、「近くでイルカをみられた」と喜んでいました。
ガイドのレイさんは移動中もいろいろと話をしてくれたり気遣いをしてくれてとても居心地のいい楽しい時間を過ごせました。ハワイ島にきてイルカのツアーに参加しないのはかなりもったいないです！
