My family had a wonderful time on this snorkel adventure! Even though only 3 of us were signed up for the afternoon activity, the staff was extremely friendly, courteous, and flexible.

We had a wonderful ride out to Captain Cook's monument, with stops along the way to explain some of the history for that part of the island. The snorkeling equipment was in very nice shape and fit well. The reef was very nice, with a wide variety of fish, and plenty of time to see everything. There were plenty of refreshments and snacks, including fresh pineapple and guava waiting for us when we finished snorkeling. On the ride back, out guide took us further out into the ocean to see if we might see any whales or dolphins.

All in all, this was a fantastic way to spend the afternoon of our last day on the island.

We participated as a family. Thank you for preparing prescription goggles for my nearsighted son. We had the precious experience of being surrounded by dolphins. It was an indescribable emotion. The staff were very kind and their work was professional! When I called the day before, they properly informed me about the meeting place and precautions, which was very helpful. Not only did we see dolphins, but we also spotted manta rays and whales. I felt the beauty of nature on the Big Island, as well as the warmth of the people. The other families who participated were also very friendly, making it a fun time. I absolutely recommend this tour!

I participated in the afternoon tour. I received a reservation confirmation email that mentioned to call for confirmation the day before, but it might be a bit challenging for those who can't speak English.

I drove to the location with a rental car. The parking lot was far from the office and hard to find, so having a map in advance would be helpful.

The boat was fairly large, and I didn't feel seasick at all. We encountered dolphins along the way. There were light snacks and drinks available on board.

The sea was incredibly beautiful, and I was able to see many fish, coral reefs, and sea urchins. There was also a slide, which was fun.

I was surprised to see an elderly woman, who looked to be over 80 years old and bent over, entering the water! Of course, she had someone accompanying her.

Since it wasn't summer, it was cold when we got out of the water.

前日に確認の電話を！と予約確認メールであり電話しましたが、英語なのでしゃべれない人はちょっと大変かも。
レンタカーで現地へ。駐車場が事務所から離れていて分かりにくかったので、あらかじめ地図などあると助かります。
船はまぁまぁ大きく全く酔いませんでした。途中イルカに遭遇。
船内では軽いスナックと飲み物あり。
海はすごく綺麗で沢山の魚やサンゴ礁ウニなど観ることができました。滑り台もあり楽しめました。
また、もう80才以上ではないかと思われる腰の曲がったおばあさんが海に入っていたのにはビックリです！！もちろん1人付き添っていましたが。
夏ではないので、海から上がった時は寒かったです。

This is my number one memory from this trip to Hawaii. 今回のハワイ旅行でのNo1の思い出です。

On March 4, 2012, I participated in a tour with Aloha Kona Tours for my honeymoon. During this time, if you're lucky, you can see not only dolphins but also whales.

We were fortunate enough to encounter whales. Moreover, we were much closer than typical whale watching experiences (within 10 meters). In fact, they were swimming right under the boat. On our way back after swimming with the dolphins, a whale jumped right in front of us. I was so excited that I couldn't say anything other than "Wow!" (It was the same for Mr. Nawata from Aloha Kona Tours, right? lol)

There are various discussions about Japan's whaling practices, but I think this experience is one that everyone should have if possible. It had a significant impact on my personal perspective.

There were also plenty of dolphins. I was able to swim while dolphins were right in front of me. Experiencing "swimming with a pod of dolphins" is something you definitely can't do in Japan. Dolphins are just so cute, and there were even mother and baby pairs. I was able to swim multiple times by anticipating the movement of the pod. I got so excited that I swam too much.

As for what to bring, in addition to swimwear, it's a good idea to have a waterproof digital camera. I'll post some photos as well.

Thanks to Mr. Nawata and Ms. Tsuyako from Aloha Kona Tours, I had a safe and incredibly fun experience. (In fact, they were enjoying it with us, too! lol) Honestly, if you're going to the Big Island, you should definitely join this tour.

この時期は運が良ければイルカだけでなく、クジラも見ることが出来ます。

私たちは正にそれで、クジラと遭遇できました。
しかも、よくあるホエールウォッチングとは比較にならない近さでした。(10m以内)
というかボートの下を通ってました。
また、イルカと泳いだ帰りにも目の前でクジラがジャンプしました。
興奮しすぎて「すげぇ！」以外の言葉が出てこなかったです。

日本人は調査捕鯨の話などでいろいろありますが、この体験は出来ればした方がいいと思いました。
私個人の考え方にとてもインパクトを与えました。

イルカもたくさん居ました。
目の前にイルカが居る状態で泳げました。
「イルカの群れと泳ぐ」なんて体験は絶対に日本では出来ません。
イルカはとにかくカワイイです。親子連れとかも居ました。
群れの移動に先回りして何回も泳ぐことが出来ました。
テンション上がり過ぎて泳ぎ過ぎました。

持ち物としては水着等以外にも防水タイプのデジカメがあった方がいいです。
写真も投稿しておきます。

Aloha Kona Tours縄田さん・つやこさんのおかげで、安全にとても楽しい体験が出来ました。
(むしろ一緒になって楽しんでましたね(笑)）
お世辞抜きにハワイ島へ行くならこのツアーに参加すべきです。

Since I am into diving, I went for snorkeling in the bay without expecting too much. It was beautiful.
There were plenty of fish, the reef was stunning, and the water clarity was high.
I think the clarity was comparable to that of the remote islands in Okinawa.
Drinks, snacks, and pineapples were all-you-can-eat.

On the way back, we encountered a pod of dolphins, and further away, there were whales.
It was fun on the large boat without any seasickness.

ダイビングやってるので湾でのシュノーケル、まぁそこまで期待しすぎず行きました。美しかったです。
魚も豊富リーフも美しい、透明度も高い。
透明度は沖縄の離島クラスかと思います
ドリンク、お菓子、パイナップルが食べ放題でした。

I participated with my mother in her 60s. I was a bit worried about her joining due to the speed of the boat, but we were both very satisfied. I think elderly people can participate as well. The staff was very accommodating, and during snorkeling, they supported my mother, who couldn't swim, by providing a float that allowed her to look down and see the fish.

Fortunately, we were lucky enough to encounter whales and dolphins. There were no staff members who spoke Japanese, but I think as long as you can communicate a little, you can enjoy the experience without any issues. It's more thrilling than regular whale watching, and I highly recommend it.

If you participate expecting typical rafting, you might feel it's a bit different.

Instead of the thrill from drops, it feels more like riding a rubber boat at high speed on the ocean, similar to jet skiing.

Honestly, I got a bit bored since there were no drops, just fast speeds.

Still, I appreciated the service spirit of the captain, and it was great to actually see wild dolphins and a whale in the distance.

The snorkeling spots were nice, though I wouldn't say they were astonishingly beautiful.

Dolphin tour イルカツアー

This time, I participated in a tour with Mr. Nawata, the same one as the manta ray tour. The manta ray night snorkeling is highly recommended, but the dolphin tour was absolutely amazing as well.

The experience involves diving ahead of the swimming course several times to chase after the pod of dolphins. Although it's quite rare, we were able to swim and play with the dolphins. They swam around us, almost touching us, and even playfully splashed us (laughs). In the clear waters where you could see hundreds of meters ahead, we truly got to "play" with the dolphins. Mr. Nawata said, "If you can't be moved by this, then there's nothing more!" It was the best experience. Just watching the dolphins swimming deep in the ocean was so beautiful that it made my mind go completely blank and filled me with happiness.

On the way back, we were taken to a beautiful beach where the locals go, and Mr. Nawata even acted as our photographer, for which I am truly grateful. I also posted a review for the manta ray night snorkeling tour, so I hope you can refer to that as well.

今回、マンタのツアーと同じ縄田さんのツアーに参加させて頂きました。マンタのナイトシュノーケリングも最高におススメですが、イルカのツアーも最っっ高でした。
内容は泳いでるコースに先回りして何度かダイブしてイルカの群れを追う？感じになるそうです。が、かなり珍しいそうなんですが私たちはイルカと一緒に泳いだり、遊んでもらう事が出来ました。イルカが自分達の周りを触れるか触れないかのところでグルグル泳いでくれたり、ウンチ？を引っかけられたり（笑）と、何百メートルも先まで見えそうな海の中でイルカとまさに『遊ぶ』ことができました。縄田さんにも「これで感動できなかったら、これ以上ないよ（笑）」と最高の体験ができました。海の中でずーっと深い所で泳いでいるイルカを観られるだけでもあたまのなかが真っ白になるくらい美しくて幸せになれます。帰りには地元の人が行くきれいなビーチに連れて行ってもらい縄田さんにカメラマンをしていただいたりと本当に感謝でいっぱいです。マンタのナイトシュノーケリングツアーの方にもレビュー載せましたのでそちらも参考にして頂ければと思います

I want to swim with wild dolphins! I participated to fulfill a dream I've held for many years. That said, since they are wild dolphins, I honestly thought I would just be watching them from a distance. However, in reality, I was able to swim with many dolphins at a distance that felt almost within reach!! I also swam very close to a manta ray! Our nature guide, Mr. Nawata from Aloha Kona Tours, was very kind and attentive, allowing me to swim without any anxiety, even in the ocean for the first time abroad. In fact, seeing Mr. Nawata enjoying himself even more than the participants (in a good way) made us smile and completely forget our tension and worries. He was a wonderful person whose love for the ocean, nature, and HAWAII truly shone through. The endlessly blue and clear waters of the Big Island... the friendly and adorable eyes of the dolphins... the majestic sight of the manta ray swimming gracefully... It was truly an experience beyond imagination... I lost track of time and swam with enthusiasm!! I definitely want to participate again someday.

長年あたためてきた夢を叶えるべく参加しました。
とはいっても野生のイルカなので一緒に泳ぐというよりも遠くから眺める程度かなと…正直なところそう思っていました。
ところが実際には、本当に手がとどきそうなくらいの距離で、たくさんのイルカと泳ぐことができました！！
マンタともすぐ近くで泳ぎました！
ネイチャーガイドの縄田さん（アロハコナツアーズ）がとても親切で丁寧な対応をして下さり、初めての海外の海でも不安なく泳げました。というかツアー参加者以上に楽しんでいる（いい意味で）縄田さんの姿に、私達も思わず笑顔がこぼれ、緊張も不安もすっかり忘れてしまったという感じでした。海を…自然を…HAWAIIを心から愛する気持ちが人柄にあらわれているような素敵な方でした。
どこまでも青く澄んだビッグアイランドの海…イルカ達の人懐こく愛くるしい瞳…悠然と泳ぐ雄大なマンタの姿…
まさに想像を超えた体験…時間も忘れて夢中で泳ぎました！！
いつかまた必ず参加したいと思っています。

This tour is perfect for beginners and solo travelers, allowing you to participate with peace of mind. As expected, they are well-versed in dolphin points, and the encounter rate is truly 99%.

This time, it seems the dolphin interactions were particularly good, and I was able to play around a lot in the vast ocean of Hawaii. Three adorable dolphins swam gracefully around me, providing the ultimate healing experience and fully recharging my energy. I had a truly wonderful time participating in this tour. The attention to detail from the Japanese guide made me feel 130% satisfied as a tour participant.
1) Punctuality
2) There were six participants, but the guide's awareness of each participant underwater was impressive. When I accidentally swallowed some seawater and felt a bit uncomfortable, the staff quickly noticed and asked for a tube and support for me, which was really helpful.
3) No wasted time.
4) The guide shared some of their favorite spots on the Big Island.
While these points may seem simple, I believe they are important aspects of any tour. The support from such a wonderful guide made for a fun experience and will definitely lead to repeat visits.

このツア−に参加して本当に素敵な時間を過ごせました。
日本人ガイドの方のきめ細やかな対応は、ツア−参加者として満足度130％でした。
1）時間に正確
2）６名参加でしたが、水中での各参加者への目配りが凄い
　と思いました。私が海水を飲んで少し苦しかったら、すぐ　にわかったらしくボ−トのスタッフにﾁｭ−ﾌﾞの棒と私への　ｻﾎﾟ-ﾄを頼んでくれて本当に助かりました。
3）無駄な時間を持たない。
4）自分がハワイ島で気に入っている場所を教えてくれた。
　簡単では、有りますが上記の件は、ツア-では大事なこと　だと思います。素晴らしいガイドの方にｻﾎﾟ-ﾄした頂いたﾂ　ｱ-は、楽しい時間となり又リピ-タ-につながります。

I participated with three female friends who are also golf buddies on November 30.

Since it was the first experience for me and another friend, we were a bit nervous, but we were able to enjoy it without any worries.

On this day, we were lucky enough to have a pod of dolphins come into the bay, so we could snorkel there without moving and saw the dolphins over and over again.

The water was incredibly clear, and the dolphins swam in groups, diving deep and then coming up to the surface, jumping right in front of us, which was so exciting. Even though we couldn't catch up, we couldn't help but chase after them in excitement. I even saw a baby dolphin swimming while nursing from its mother. I can't count how many times I ended up swallowing seawater from excitement... (laughs) Even now, just remembering it brings back those emotions.

That said, we were very grateful to our guide, Mr. Nawata. While we were in the water, he constantly made sure we were safe as we swam around excitedly, sometimes diving to take pictures of the dolphins, taking pictures of us, and pulling us in the direction where the dolphins were likely to come...

The beautiful gradient of the sea color at the beach that Mr. Nawata recommended on the way back was also breathtaking.

There are many similar tours, but we all agreed that we were glad to have participated in Mr. Nawata's tour!

　ゴルフ友達女３人組で１１月３０日に参加しました。　

私ともう一人は初体験だったので、少し緊張してたのですが不安なく楽しむことができました。

この日はラッキーなことに、入江にイルカの群れが来てたので、移動することなく　ずっとそこで　シュノーケリングでき　何度も何度も　イルカたちを見ました。　

海の中はすごい透明で、群れで泳いでるイルカたちが　深く潜っていき、それから海面に上がってきて、目の前でジャンプしたり、と　大興奮でした。　　追いつくはずもないのに、思わず夢中で追いかけてしまいます。
赤ちゃんイルカがお母さんのおっぱいを飲みながら泳いでいるのも見ました。
興奮して叫んで何度海水を飲んだことか・・（笑）
今思い出しても　あの感動が甦ります。

それにしても　ガイドの縄田さんにはお世話になりました。
海に入ってる時は、上記のように興奮して泳ぎ回ってる私達に絶えず気をつけてくれ、時には　潜ってイルカの写真をとったり、私達の写真をとってくれたり、イルカの来そうな方向に引っ張って行ってくれたり・・
帰りに連れて行ってくれた、縄田さんお薦めのビーチのグラデーションの美しい海の色も感動ものでした。

同じようなツアーはたくさんありますが、この縄田さんのツアーに参加してよかった！と全員一致しました。

I was surprised to find dolphins as soon as we went out to sea. Once we entered the water, I could hear the dolphins' calls, and I was deeply moved to see them swimming close by and in groups. On the way back, a mother and baby dolphin swam right next to our boat, allowing us to see wild dolphins up close.

Additionally, both the captain of the boat and the local Japanese guide were very kind, and we had a wonderful time.

I took medication in advance, but I ended up getting seasick and feeding the fish a lot. However, I was pleasantly surprised that the dolphins played with us, and I was satisfied to swim with them. I participated in this for the first time in Hawaii.

There are various snorkeling tours, and I was really torn, but choosing the raft boat this time was a great decision!

We set off with about 10 guests and 2 guides!! Right from the start, the speed and excitement were incredible!!! We raced over the waves, and it was so refreshing☆

At first, I was a bit worried it might be scary, but once I got on, it was surprisingly stable. Even though the driver maneuvered quite roughly (which was part of the fun), it was more manageable than I expected. The boat tilting during turns and sudden stops was really enjoyable!

The other participants were travelers from Europe and Mexico, and they were all mature couples. I was a bit surprised to see people who looked to be in their 50s and 60s wearing swimsuits and joining such an exciting tour. It was really impressive how active they were! I think there's no need to worry about it being "scary" at all!

The snorkeling at Kealakekua Bay was truly beautiful, with clear water and lots of different kinds of fish! We had plenty of time, and the fruit we had during the break was delicious☆ On the way to and from the snorkeling spot, we encountered a pod of dolphins swimming right next to and below us, and we also visited lava caves… it was a tour filled with fun, and it went by in a flash!!

I highly recommend this activity for both first-timers to Hawaii and repeat visitors!!!! I definitely want to do it again in Hawaii☆★

初めてのハワイで参加しました。

シュノーケルツアーはいろいろあって、すごく迷いましたが、今回のラフトボートは大正解でした！

10名程度の客と2名のガイドで出発！！…直後からすごいスピード＆迫力で大興奮！！！波の上を跳ねるように駆け抜けていって、とっても爽快でした☆

最初はちょっと怖いかなぁという心配もあったのですが、乗ってみたら意外な安定感で、運転手がけっこう荒い操縦をしても（楽しませるための演出ですが）思いのほか大丈夫でした。曲がるときや急ブレーキでボートが傾くのも、すごく楽しかった！

一緒に参加したのはヨーロッパやメキシコからの旅行者で、みんな熟年の夫婦の方ばかりでした。50~60歳以上と思われる方々が、水着を着てこんなエキサイティングなツアーに参加するなんて、本当にアクティブだなぁとちょっとビックリ。
それぐらいのツアーなので、「怖いかも」という心配はいらないと思います！

ケアラケクア湾でのシュノーケリングは、本当に水がキレイでいろんな種類の魚がたくさん見れました！時間もたっぷりあって、休憩で食べたフルーツが美味しかった☆
シュノーケリングスポットへの往復の間には、イルカの群れがよってきてすぐ横や下を泳いだり、溶岩洞窟を見に行ったり…楽しみいっぱいで、あっという間の満足ツアーでした！！

ハワイが初めてという方にも、リピーターの方にも、超オススメのアクティビティです！！！！
私も是非またハワイで、もう一回行きたい☆★

I was so focused on swimming with the dolphins that I completely forgot I was in the ocean, and I panicked a bit when it was time to get in. However, thanks to the wetsuit, I was able to float, so it wasn't a problem even though I'm not a very strong swimmer.

I discovered a stingray, and I was able to go snorkeling there too!

The boat ride to the spot was fast, and that alone was fun. The wind felt great~♪

イルカと泳げる事に頭がいっぱいで、「海」で泳ぐ事が頭になく、いざ海に入るという時慌ててしまいました。でもウェットスーツのおかげで浮いていられるので、泳ぎがそれ程得意でない私でも問題なかったです。

エイを発見して、そこでもシュノーヶリングすることもできました！

ポイントに行くまでのボートもスピードが出て、それだけでも楽しかったです。風が気持ち良かった~♪

The photos on the website were exactly as they appeared. The seabed was densely covered with coral reefs, and there were plenty of fish. I visited other snorkeling points as well, but I felt that this spot had exceptionally high visibility, possibly due to the lack of sand being stirred up. The depth was not too deep, so I felt safe swimming. There was also a lot of time to swim freely. About an hour before lunch and several minutes after lunch. I was very satisfied. Above all, the BBQ for lunch was delicious! The meal was a hamburger buffet, where you could enjoy freshly grilled beef patties, fresh sliced tomatoes, onions, pickles, and more, all piled into buns as you liked. It was so delicious that I ended up eating two. The staff were very kind, and during the explanation of safety precautions, they provided a written document in Japanese, which made it easy to understand without any confusion. Thank you to all the staff. I highly recommend this to those who haven't participated yet.

他のシュノーケルポイントにも行きましたが、ここのポイントは、砂の巻き上げがないせいか、透明度が非常に高いと感じました。深さも深くなく安心して泳ぐことが出来ました。
自由に泳ぐことが出来る時間も非常に多かったです。
昼食前に１時間程度、昼食後に数十分。大満足です。
何よりも、昼食のBBQの美味しい事！！
内容は、ハンバーガーブッフェで、
その場で網焼きされたビーフパティや、新鮮なスライストマト、オニオン、ピクルス等を好きなだけバンズに挟んで食すスタイル。あまりに美味しくて２つ食べてしまいました。
スタッフの方も大変優しくて、注意事項の説明の際には、
日本語の書面を渡して下さり、戸惑うことなく理解出来ました。
スタッフのみなさんありがとうございました。
そして、まだ参加されていない方には、オススメです。

When I came to the Big Island, I had decided to go for a dolphin swim, so I was really looking forward to it!

First, I was super excited to encounter a manta ray! Seeing it swim slowly underwater and looking at it head-on was truly impressive!

When the captain said, "Dolphins!" and pointed in that direction, dolphins jumped! I waited eagerly for the boat to stop… and then we went into the water! As I swam towards the sound of the dolphins, the underwater scene became so joyful when I spotted them! Everyone was swimming happily! I was lucky to see a mother dolphin with her baby too!

Even friends who were new to dolphin swimming enjoyed it a lot, thanks to our guide, Mr. Nawata, who taught us everything. Thank you!!

After getting off the boat, they took us to a beautiful white sand beach and recommended a delicious lunch spot. It was truly a fun experience.

If I come back to the Big Island, I definitely want to join this tour again.

On October 18, my husband and I participated in the tour.

Mr. Nawata picked us up at the hotel, and before boarding the boat, we fitted our fins and wet suits in case it got cold, and then we set sail!!

The boat felt more like a banana boat, allowing us to enjoy it safely while straddling the edge. I usually get seasick, but it was so much fun like a banana boat that I didn't feel sick at all. Before we set off, the captain, who resembled George Clooney and spoke Japanese well, gave us ginger candy for motion sickness. It was delicious.

About 15 minutes after departure, we quickly spotted a pod of dolphins!! We went ahead to where the dolphins were likely to be, and each of us was given a floatation stick. Mr. Nawata and two local young men joined us in the water, which made us feel safe.

We were lucky that day, as we encountered countless dolphins during all four entries!! My husband was satisfied swimming alongside the pod of dolphins. When I stayed still, a group of dolphins swam straight towards me, and I almost bumped into one. I could also hear the dolphins' squeaks!! There were baby dolphins too, and they were very cute.

Finally, we were taken to a spot where mantas were present, and we were fortunate to see a large one that day!!

We heard from other boats that there were whales, so we waited at that point for about 15 minutes, but they didn't come up to the surface. It seems that whales usually don't arrive in Hawaii until October, but this year, some have come early. They say that in January, you can see them almost every day, so I plan to try again in January!!

Since we were the only Japanese couple on this tour, Mr. Nawata guided us closely, and it was a very satisfying experience. On the way back, he also recommended restaurants and beaches that weren't listed in the guidebook. We actually visited as many as we could within our time☆ All of them were wonderful!!

１０月１８日に夫婦で参加しました。

縄田さんにホテルまで迎えに来て頂き、ボートに乗る前に足ヒレと寒かった場合のウェットスーツのサイズ合わせをし、いざ出港！！

船はボートといった感じで縁にまたがって安全なバナナボートのように楽しめます。私は船酔いしやすいのですが、バナナボートのようで楽しくて、全く酔いませんでした。一応、出港前にジョージクルーニー似の日本語が上手な船長さんが酔い止めのジンジャーキャンディーをくれます。美味しかったです。

出港１５分ぐらいで、早くもイルカの群れを発見！！イルカが来るだろうところに先回りして、ボートの縁から海へ☆浮くための棒も一人１本くれますし、縄田さんと現地の若い男の子２人、合計三人が一緒に海に入ってくれるので安心です。

この日は運が良く、４回のエントリーすべて、数えきれないほどのイルカさんに会うことができました！！夫はイルカの群れと並んで泳いで満足そうでした。私は動かずにいたらイルカの群れがまっすぐ向かってきて、イルカと顔があたりそうでした。キューキューというイルカの鳴き声も聞くことができました！！子供イルカもいて、とても可愛らしかったです。

最後にマンタがいるところにも連れて行って頂き、マンタも運良くこの日は１匹大きなのがいました！！

クジラがいると他の船から連絡があったそうで、そのポイントで１５分ぐらい待機しましたが、海面に上がってきませんでした。クジラは例年１０月にはまだハワイには来ていないそうで、今年は来るのが早く数匹もう来てるそうです。１月には毎日のように見れるらしいので、次回は１月にトライしようと思います！！

今回は日本人が私たち夫婦だけだったこともあり、付きっきりで縄田さんにガイドして頂き、大満足のツアーでした。
また帰りの車ではレストランや、ビーチなどガイドブックには載っていないお勧めのところを教えて下さいました。実際に時間の許す限り行って来ました☆どこもすばらしく良かったです！！

おかげ様でとても良い思い出になりました。ありがとうございました。またハワイ島に来るときに参加しようと思います！！

I participated in the afternoon plan. The sea was truly beautiful, and I lost track of time enjoying it. I really wanted to visit Kealakekua Bay, but it was a bit difficult to get to, so this was just right. We stayed at a hotel in Kailua-Kona, and it was relatively convenient to get to the meeting point at the Fair Wind office. We took a shuttle bus along Alii Drive and got off at Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa, from where we could walk to the office.

ケアラケクア湾はぜひ行ってみたかったのですが、少し行きにくい場所にあったのでちょうどよかったです。
私たちはカイルアコナのホテルに滞在していたのですが、集合場所のフェアウィンド号の事務所までは、アリィドライブ沿いのシャトルバスに乗ってシェラトンケアイホウベイビーチ＆スパで降り、そこから徒歩で行けましたので、比較的便利でした。

I participated with a female friend in September. It was my first time on the Big Island, and I wanted to do more than just relax on the hotel beach, so I was drawn in by the phrase about swimming with dolphins and signed up.

The weather was fantastic on the day of the tour, and we were picked up at the hotel and driven to the harbor. The harbor was small, but there were no procedures to go through, just a quick fitting for the fin size and we were off!!

The Sea Wolf, a large rubber boat, allowed us to straddle the sides, and being close to the water while feeling the wind was really pleasant!!

Then we met the dolphins. I was so excited watching the dolphins jumping in the water that I couldn't wait to get in. The dolphins were really close, almost touchable (though it seemed like we weren't supposed to touch them). It truly felt like swimming with dolphins (^ - ^)/

After that, we dove a few times while chasing a pod of dolphins, and we even got to see a manta ray! Swimming slowly with the manta was so soothing.

On the way back, we stopped at a beach recommended by our guide, Mr. Nawata, and it was such a beautiful beach. We took lots of pictures. I wished we could have stayed a bit longer to relax on that beach.

It was a very satisfying tour, having encountered both dolphins and manta rays. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting the Big Island and looking for ocean activities!☆

ハワイ島は初めてだったのですが、ホテルのビーチだけではなくシュノーケリングもしたいなあと思い、イルカと一緒に泳げるというフレーズにつられて申し込みました。

当日はお天気もとってもよく、ホテルでピックアップして頂き、ドライブしながら港へ。港はこじんまりしてましたが、何の手続きもいらずフィンのサイズだけあわせてしゅっぱーつ！！

大きいゴムボートのようなシーウルフ号はサイドにまたがって乗ることができ、海面に近く、風もうけながらとっても気持ち良かったです！！

そしてイルカとご対面。海上をはねるイルカをみて興奮冷めやらぬまま海へ。本当にイルカは近くてさわれそうでした。(さわってはだめみたいでしたが)なるほど~確かにイルカと一緒に泳ぐって感じでしたよ(^-^)/

その後何回かイルカの群れを追いかけながらダイブして、なんとマンタもみれちゃいました！ゆっくり泳ぐマンタに癒やされました~。

帰りにはガイドの縄田さんおすすめのビーチによって頂いたのですが、ほんっとにきれいなビーチでした。写真もいっぱい撮ってもらいました。もう少し滞在できたら、そのビーチでのんびりしたかったな~

イルカにもマンタにも出会えて大満足なツアーでした。ハワイ島にいかれて海でアクティビティをという方にはオススメです☆

I participated in this tour on September 28th. My impression can be summed up in one word: "I'm really glad I joined!"

First, they picked us up at the hotel in the morning, and then it was off to the port! Thanks to the friendly captain and the little boys who assisted, we moved to several points where we could see dolphins, and then we dove in! Underwater, I could hear the cute sounds of the dolphins and found myself chasing after them in excitement. 感想は、ただ一言「参加して本当によかった！」です。

まず、朝ホテルまでピックアップに来ていただき、その後港へGO！
気さくな船長や助手(～)の小さな男の子たちのお陰でイルカのいるポイントへ何度も移動してくれ、そしてダイブ！
海の中ではイルカのかわいい鳴き声がたくさん聞こえ、夢中でイルカを追いかけてしまいました。
残念ながら私たちが参加した日は曇りがちな日だったため、ちょっと寒く、また海の中も光のキラキラしたものは見れなかったのですが、それでもイルカをたくさん見ることができて大満足です。

帰港する際には海面を泳ぐ大きなウミガメをみたり、なんと、4メートルはあるタイガーシャークにまで出会うことができました。(もちろん、船の上から)

その後、ツアーには含まれていないのですが、ガイドの縄田さんのサービスで縄田さんお勧めのハワイ島一キレイなビーチに連れていってくれました。

めちゃくちゃキレイでした。
旅行中、ハワイ島のホテルのビーチやオアフでもビーチに行きましたが、他のビーチはキレイと思えなくなってしまうくらい。心から、もう一度行きたいビーチです。
