Reviewed by: Jen , 2023/05/14We had a great flight around the island. The scenery was beautiful. Our pilot was very knowledgeable and friendly. She did a great job explaining the volcanos and island. This was a highlight of our Hawaii trip. A must do for sure!!

Jungle, waterfalls and volcanos oh my! Just a sight
Reviewed by: Lauren Ralph, 2023/03/18We were able to get a Birds Eye view of the lava paths over the saddle road and it just showcased how awesome nature really is. The clouds hindered our view of the caldera over volcanos national park (but there was a massive winter storm). The coolest part for me was seeing the snow on top on Mauna Kea. My husband loved the waterfalls along the coast.

Fantastic tour!
Reviewed by: Lila Walker, 2016/02/25My family and I took a private tour a couple days ago. Jim was our pilot, and he was not only knowledgeable about the island's history, the vegetation, but in general knowledgeable about nearly everything we asked him about.
His piloting skills were top notch, and spent time to really show us the island. He also made an effort to acknowledge each of us by name and to get to know us. He added personal anecdotes about his experiences on the island, and was compassionate about not scaring the whales as we flew above them. He had an amazing spirit!
The staff that picked us up, got us onto the helicopter, and back to our hotel were equally amazing. I'd recommend this excursion to anyone, I really enjoyed it!
