It was our last day in Hawai’i. This hike was the best way to end our 7 day vacation! It was a great bonding time for me and my son! I have a chronic illness so for us to do this hike together is something that we will cherish forever. Walking, talking, and exploring this rainforest was a big hit. Thank you for offering this. Our young man that picked us up was great and helpful!

Lovely hike! The water and hiking stick as well as the bug spray that was provided, was greatly appreciated.

I wasn’t expecting much since it wasn’t a tour. The driver did drive by past places that have significance to President Obama. Beautiful waterfall! No need for a guide.

I am so glad we decided to take this hike through Veltra tours, we were provided with walking sticks (which you will definitely need), water and insect repellent. I am a 60 years young female with lower back arthritis, my girlfriend is 72 years young and we both survived and enjoyed it.. The scenery along the hike is beautiful. You should not wear your very nice gym shoes due to some mud and rocks along the way. Getting to the top (end of hike) seems to never come quick enough, but by the end of the hike when you see how beautiful the waterfall is, it becomes well worth it.

On the first day of my arrival, since I couldn't predict the time, I opted for a trolley day pass instead of a time-specific tour to head to Diamond Head. The trolley made stops for about five minutes at scenic spots, allowing me to take some photos. I got off at Kahala Mall and enjoyed dining and shopping.

入国初日は時間が読めないため、時間指定のツアーにせずトロリー1日券でダイヤモンドヘッドへ向かいました。景色のいいところでは5分くらい停車してくれたので写真も撮れました。カハラモールで降りて食事とショッピングを楽しめました

It was exciting walking through a rain forest and also a good cardio workout. Our group had walking sticks so it was beneficial where it was a bit rocky or wet. Just take your time going up or back down and enjoy the scenery.

It was a bit raining in the morning but the Monoa Falls was very very nice.
Our guide explained us very kind and neatly so we understood well.
You must need a shoe to go with.( Some people went there by Beach sandals and slipping over the mud)

It was great that I could ride the Purple Line and go all the way to Pearl Harbor. I found out that the one-day unlimited pass actually becomes valid for two days when I received it. Unfortunately, I had already planned to be almost nowhere near Waikiki on the second day, so I wish I had known that before my trip.

パープルラインも乗れて、パールハーバーまで行けたのが良かった。
１日乗り放題が２日間乗り放題になるようで、乗り放題パスの受け渡しの時に知った。２日目にはワイキキにほぼいない予定を組んでしまったので、渡航前に知っておきたかった。

Our Transportation to Diamond Head was waiting for us as we exited the hotel about 5 minutes early. He was very nice and professional. He gave us good information about Diamond Head's history and the hiking trail. He returned, as promised, to pick us up and take us to Manoa Falls. Again he was very interesting and gave us info about the rain forest and the hike. Providing water and a hiking pole was very appreciated, and helpful. The company was very reliable, friendly and informative. We are in our 60's and were able to do both hikes in the same day.

Both hikes were fantastic! My grandson enjoys hiking and loved both experiences. He especially enjoyed the Manoa Falls Trail hike. The sky was overcast and we got rained on several times, but that just added to the experience! We thoroughly enjoyed it!!

Best tour of the trip this time . Walk to the manoa waterfalls, rainy and muddy . Full of fun! Remember to bring the insects repellent. Walking sticks from the tour company really help a lot!

The shuttle driver was an expert at driving on tricky roads. It was great having water and a walking stick provided. And of course the scenery and waterfall were breathtaking.

We did the Diamond Head and Manoa Falls hikes. Both were very different and beautiful in their own ways. We are glad we did the Diamond Head hike in the early hours and were able to do the Mania Falls hike during the heat of the day since it was a cooler hike. Advice: take plenty of bug spray for the Manoa Falls hike! And as a side note, Romero our tour driver was fantastic! He told us some local history and gave us advice on places to go and eat.

This was just perfect for me and aside from the strong winds causing the visitor center to be closed , I was very happy I took the self guided tour and yet had the informative drive up to the drop off location with the added pointers, water and walking stick (it did come in handy but I could've done without it). It was a good value and our driver Romero , was great!

It was very convenient! There were four lines available for unlimited rides, but since I didn't use them that much, it felt a bit expensive. However, I'm glad there was a trolley.

４つのラインが乗り放題でしたが、そんなに沢山は乗らなかったのでちょっと高いかなってところですね‼︎でもトロリーあってよかったです。

Helpful driver(young man but forgot name..sorry). Mosquito repellent and walking stick. Thought about taking bus, but the last stop is a bit of a distance from trailhead. This shuttle expedites the process. Picked up and dropped off at Waikiki hotel. If you have limited time on the island I would definitely recommend this tour. The hike itself is not overly demanding in dry conditions. Wife and I are in 50's and in so-so condition. I thought this was easier than Diamond Head hike, which wasn't difficult either. Probably an entirely different story if wet and rainy. Get off the beach and experience another aspect of the island. Enjoyed it.

I wanted to go to Manoa Falls and this was the best bet for me and my friends. It was inexpensive, easy and did the job! Would do it again :)

The guide picked us up at the hotel and shuttled us to the trailhead. From there its pretty easy hike up to the Manoa Falls.

It was a very worthwhile pass that allowed us to go all the way to Diamond Head. The boarding area in the DFS basement was a bit hard to find, but we were able to get smooth assistance from the staff there.

ダイヤモンド・ヘッドの方まで周れてお得感の強いパスでした。DFS地下の乗り場が少し分かりにくかったのですが、その場にいた係の人に教えてもらえたのでスムーズに乗れました。

I had hardly used the Waikiki Trolley until now, but it was convenient not only for shopping but also for sightseeing (Red and Green Lines). I even took it for just a few blocks.

今までほとんど使わなかったワイキキトロリーですが，買い物だけでは無く，観光にも便利でした（レッド・グリーンライン）ほんの数ブロックのために乗ったりしました．

I purchased a four-day pass. The Pink Line (to Waikiki and Ala Moana) has frequent service, making it convenient, but the Red Line (to downtown) and Green Line (to Diamond Head) have less frequent service, with intervals of about 40 minutes. If you miss the timing, you may end up waiting for quite a long time. However, it covers almost all of Honolulu's attractions, so if you plan your activities in conjunction with the trolley schedule, I think you can visit many places and have a lot of fun. The drivers are cheerful and enjoyable as well.

４日間のパスを購入しました。ピンクライン（ワイキキやアラモアナ方面）は本数が多いので便利ですが、レッドライン（ダウンタウン方面）とグリーンライン（ダイアモンドヘッド方面）は本数が少なく運転間隔も４０分とかなので、ちょっとタイミングを外すとかなり長い間待つ結果となります。しかしホノルルの名所はほぼ網羅しているので、トロリーの時刻表と照らし合わせて計画的に行動すればかなりと沢山の所へ行けて楽しいと思います。ドライバーさんも陽気で楽しいです。

In Honolulu, it's inconvenient to get around without using the trolley bus. Since we are traveling independently without going through a major travel agency, we purchased this ticket because we couldn't use the travel agency's exclusive trolley bus. However, it turns out that the only lines where you need to show the ticket are the Red Line and Green Line. The Pink Line, which is heavily used, is free if you have a JCB card, so it seems that most people can board without any checks. I slightly regret that we might not have needed to buy the ticket after all.

ホノルルではトロリーバスを利用しないと移動が不便なため、大手旅行会社を通さず旅行している私達は旅行会社独自のトロリーバスを利用できないため、このチケットを購入しましたが、チケットを見せる必用があるのはレッドラインやグリーンラインくらいで、利用者が多いピンクラインはJCBカードがあれば無料なため、ほとんどの人が持っていると思われているのかチェックすらなしで乗車できていました。買わなくても良かったかなと少し後悔しました。

I used the four-day ticket again this year. Although the routes have changed, it was truly convenient. I was able to visit the long-awaited farmers' market and hike Diamond Head using just this trolley. Even though it's a four-day ticket, it can be used anytime during my stay, allowing for flexible use over the six days.

今年も４日間チケットで使いました。
路線が変わったりもしていますが、本当に重宝です。
念願のファーマーズマーケットやダイアモンドヘッド登山もこのトロリーだけで行く事が出来ました。
今年も４日チケットとはいえ滞在中の４日分いつでも使用可能なので６日間中不連続で使用できて使い勝手があります。

On the morning of August 3rd, around 8 AM, we went from in front of the Hyatt to Diamond Head. The driver's talk was excellent. I want to rate this as the best part of the trip. It was so much fun.

ドライバーのトークが最高でした。
今回の旅行で一番をつけたいです。とても楽しかったです。

I had a great time riding, but I noticed that there were many more trolleys from Japanese travel agencies, which made me question the convenience. I also felt that the closing time was a bit early.

楽しく乗りましたが、日本の旅行代理店のトロリーの方が多く見かけ、利便性に疑問を持ちました。
終了時間も早い気がします。

This trolley not only allows you to get around the city but also takes you to Diamond Head and Kahala Mall, and I use it every year without fail. You can use it for four days on any day during your stay, and the ability to extend the days you don't use it adds to the value. Many of the drivers are entertaining, so you won't get bored.

このトロリーは、市内の移動だけでなくダイヤモンドヘッド観光やカハラモールまでいく事が出来、毎年必ず使っています。
滞在中のどの日でも4日間分使用でき、中日に使用しない日は延長でき使う日に使用できるのもお得感があります。
運転手も面白い方が多く飽きさせません。

When you think of classic transportation in Hawaii, the trolley comes to mind! The local staff at the ticket exchange, including the older gentleman, are sure to make you laugh, and all the trolley drivers are fun people! You'd be missing out if you don't ride it. They even take photos while stopped! It’s not just a means of getting around; you can explore the Waikiki area while listening to the enjoyable stories from the drivers. I will definitely participate again next time!

ハワイの定番乗り物と言えば、トロリーですよね！
現地スタッフ（チケット引き換え所）のおじいちゃん？も笑わせてくれるし、トロリーの運転手も楽しい人ばかり！乗らなきゃ損です。
停車中には写真も取ってくれます♪
移動だけの手段だけではなく、楽しい運転手の話しを聞きながらワイキキ周辺を探索出来ました。
次回も絶対に参加しま~す！

This time, we used the trolley bus for my parents during our family trip. It was their second time in Hawaii, and they were very happy to finally ride the bus and enjoy it! Both of them got the senior discount, which was a good deal, but since they didn't ride it much over the four days, I thought it might have been better for me to pay the fare each time instead.

今回は、家族旅行にて父母の為にトロリーバスを利用しました。2回目のハワイで、ようやくバスにのり満喫できた！と大変喜んでいました。2人ともシニア料金でお得でしたが、1日でもあまり回数をならなく、4日間も乗らなかったので、私はその都度乗車料金を払うほうが…よかったかなと思いました。
