I was picked up on time. With Uber, it takes a while for them to arrive, so the shuttle is definitely cheaper and more reliable. I was taken to the location with check-in counters for different airlines.

予定時間通りにピックアップして貰えました。ウーバーだと来るまで時間がかかるのでやはりシャトルが安いし確実。航空会社別のチェックインカウンターのある場所まで運んで貰えました。

We took a snorkel trip with the Moana boat crew and had a fantastic experience. We set sail on the beautiful catamaran at 0830 and to head out see the sea turtles at the infamous 'shell-cleaning' reef which is located just outside the breakers off Waikiki beach. Our Capt for the day, Anthony, was personable, friendly and made us all feel welcome aboard the boat. Zack and Sarah were the other two crew members and they were friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout the entire trip. 100% would sail with this crew again. Bring some tip $ for them, because they definitely deserve it. Book a tour today!

The snorkel site is popular and several boats are in the area, which is nice because you don't feel like you're out in the middle of the ocean alone. It can get busy with everyone trying to see the turtles and fish so be sure to keep an eye on the surface as well as watching what is below. Some turtles even come over to our boat and I snapped a photo (attached to this review). Overall water depth is about 20-30 feet and even on a cloudy & murky day (like ours) we could easily see numerous fish and several large sea turtles. We were even lucky enough to see Humpback whales (mom & baby)!!

We booked our trip in mid/late Feb and it was overcast & rainy. A bit chilly at times, but come prepared and it's a fun trip regardless. Plenty of covered space to store dry items, but a "drybag" is a nice touch on any beach/water adventure.
We booked the 0830 trip to maximize sea life activity which also resulted in 2 families being on the boat....8 people total. Virtually a private tour! When we pulled back into the pier for the next tour there were about 20-25 people waiting for the next tour. And, parking at the marina is easier before the crowds arrive.

This is one of the most thrilling activities I have done in my decades of traveling to Hawaii. Such an incredible value! The crew was amazing. Riding the waves as you take in the majestic views of Waikiki made my birthday morning memorable. Thank you so much!

My spouse and I tried surfing for the first time together. Initially, we just hoped to be able to stand up by the end of the lesson, but surprisingly, I managed to stand up on my first attempt. After repeating it several times, I was even able to strike a pose while standing by the end. Thanks to the cheerful and kind staff, we enjoyed this quick activity immensely.

It was also fun to communicate with participants from various countries while surfing (even if you can't speak English, it's fine to go with the flow; they will cheer you on if you catch a wave well). Additionally, there’s an option to have the day's activities filmed (with drone footage and photos), which I highly recommend for taking home memories.

You can store your belongings in lockers, so it's convenient during your travels. I participated right after climbing Diamond Head early in the morning, and it was no problem at all. The area around the surfing lesson has shallow waters with some rocks, so it might be good to have band-aids and disinfectant just in case.

夫婦揃って初めてのサーフィンに挑戦しました。
当初は、レッスンの最後までに立ち上がれるようになればいいくらいの気持ちで参加しましたが、なんと1回目で立ち上がることに成功。
その後も何度も繰り返して、最後の方には立ち上がってポーズを決めることができるまでになりました。
明るく親切なスタッフの皆さんのおかげで、あっという間のアクティビティを楽しむことができました。
色々な国の方が参加されているので、その人たちともコミュニケーションを取りながらサーフィンをすることができるのも楽しかったです。(英語はできなくてもその場のノリで大丈夫。上手く波にのることができたら褒めてくれます。)
また、オプションで当日の模様を撮影してもらうことが出来る(ドローンを用いた映像と写真)ので、思い出に持ち帰ることもおすすめです。
ロッカーに荷物を預けることができるので、旅の途中にもOK。早朝ダイヤモンドヘッド登頂からそのまま参加しましたが、問題なしです。
サーフィンレッスン付近は浅瀬で所々岩があるので、万一に備えてバンドエイドや消毒液があるとなお良いかもしれません。

This time, I watched a show as part of a limited number of monitors. I attended with my spouse, and I noticed a few other Japanese people in the audience. The seats were in one of the last four rows, and since it was open seating, we were able to sit almost in the middle.

■ Show Structure
It featured Hawaiian songs, popular past hits like those of Michael Jackson, and fire dancing.

■ Impressions
You can hear live performances of songs by Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson. As others have mentioned, it would be unfair to call it mere impersonation, as the performers have outstanding vocal abilities. I wasn't familiar with many of Elvis Presley's songs, but I had a great time. There was interaction with the audience, and the backup dancers and live music were of impressive quality. Songs from the Disney movie Moana were also performed, which I think children would enjoy as well. While you can find free hula and fire dancing performances in places like shopping malls, the quality of this show is very high, so I recommend attending this even if it's just for the show itself.

今回、人数限定のモニターでショーを観ました。
夫婦での鑑賞で、他にも日本人の方はチラホラ見かけました。
席は後ろから4列のどれかでよく、自由席だったためほぼ真ん中に座れました。

■ショーの構成
ハワイの歌、マイケル・ジャクソンなどの過去の人気ソング、ファイヤーダンスといった感じです。

■感想
エルビス・プレスリーやマイケル・ジャクソンの生歌を聴けます。
他の方も記載されていますが、ただの物真似と言うと失礼で歌唱力バツグンの方が歌います。
エルビス・プレスリーは知らない曲が多かったのですが、すごい楽しめました。
観客との交流があったり、バックダンサーや生演奏もすごい完成度で圧巻です。
ディズニー映画のモアナの曲も歌われ、子供でも楽しめるのではないかと思います。
フラダンスやファイヤーダンスは無料で観られるところはショッピングモールなどにありますが、ショーとしての完成度が高いため、ショーのみのプランでもいいので、こちらを鑑賞されるのをオススメします。

Really nice fishing trip! Jack and the Capt. (don’t think I got her name) were really great hosts. Jack was excellent! Super helpful with all concerns regarding fishing equipment and hooking a fish. The Capt. was kind and informative. She knows her job and does it well. Despite the choppy seas, she got us to the spots where people caught fish. It was a great time and well recommended.

Ryan and Mark were a great team and the boat was a lot of fun. The dolphins came out for a play and it was a wonderful experience.

I used Hawaiian Airlines to return home, but when the driver asked, "Hawaiian Airlines?" I replied "Yes," and I was dropped off at the terminal for domestic flights to the islands. From there, I had to walk quite a distance to the international terminal. It was disappointing since I had informed them at the time of booking that I would be taking an international flight.

ドライバーさんが「ハワイアン航空？」と聞くので「イエス」と答え空港で降ろされた場所が国内線の離島へいくターミナルでしたのでそこから国際線のターミナルまで結構な距離を歩かされました。予約時には国際線に乗ることは伝えてあるのに残念でした。

The day we experienced was unfortunately rainy, but since it was just a light rain, the event went ahead as planned. Once we started, we had so much fun that we forgot about the rain. However, even though I took motion sickness medication, I struggled with seasickness towards the end, so it's essential for those who need it to take motion sickness medication.

私たちが体験した日はあいにくの雨でしたが、小雨であったため決行されました。
いざスタートすると雨なんて忘れてしまうぐらい楽しかったです。
ただ、酔い止めを飲んでいったのにも関わらず、終盤は船酔いが辛かったので酔い止めを飲む必要のある人は必須です。

Overall the experience was simple amazing. Don't miss out this when you are in Waikiki.The check in was very smooth. There were ticket counters,signs and people to guide through the process.We bought the tickets online and they were able to process it from QR code. They gave us physical copy of ticket which we had to use for entrance. We had warm welcome with garlands and person helped us with our seats.
Theme of the show was how the music evolved around hawaii from 1920 to 2000.It was wonderful transition between different eras. Actors were very talented and sound quality was too good. I felt like I am listening to live original songs.Fireshow was amazing, very creative.I liked how they had catered to all different generations and brought a mix of everything. I did not even realize how time went by and enjoyed each moment of the show.After the show there was meet and greet activity at Lobby. Please spend some time taking pictures with them and appreciating their work. After the show , they also have bar with live musical with happy hour. I enjoyed some drinks at the bar. Definetly don't miss out on that, blue hawaii is the best !

Experience SUP right in front of the Royal Hawaiian Beach! They lend you towels and can hold onto small bags, so you can easily join in during your free time. It was my first time on a SUP, but they taught me the basic movements and off I went into the ocean! Even when I fell, the water was surprisingly shallow, so I felt safe.

When I stood up, I had the best view of Diamond Head to my left while looking down at the waters of Waikiki! The tourists swimming around also offered encouragement and help, and the staff who took photos gave me advice, making it an hour that flew by.

ロイヤルハワイアンの目の前のビーチでSUP体験！タオルも貸してくれて小さい荷物も預かっていただけるので、空いている時間に気軽に参加出来ます。SUPは初めてでしたが、基本的な動きを教えてもらっていざ海へ！落ちても意外と浅くて足が付くレベルだったので安心でした。
立てた時は左にダイヤモンドヘッドを眺めながらワイキキの海を見下ろすという最高なシチュエーションです！まわりで泳いでいた観光客の方々も声をかけてくれたり助けてくれたり、写真を取ってくれるスタッフの方もアドバイスしてくれてあっという間の1時間でした。

Although I applied at the last minute as the date was approaching, they responded quickly and safely took me to the airport. Thank you very much.
It was no problem communicating in English only, and it was very helpful as it was the cheapest option available.

The backup dancers had great energy, and I enjoyed watching everything.
With the backup dancers, the plump Michael was dancing energetically, and the audience was able to join in the fun as well.
I had a ticket reserved for showtime only, without a meal, so I wasn't in the middle, but I was seated on the aisle, which was nice.
If you want to include a meal, please make a reservation with it. The seats were in the middle of the studio.
During showtime, taking photos and videos is allowed.

バッグダンサーの踊りにキレが有り、全て観ていて楽しめました。
バッグダンサーと一緒に、ぷっくりマイケルですがノリノリ踊ってくれて、客席からも一緒に楽しめましたよ。
私は食事無しの、ショータイムのみのチケット予約でしたので、真ん中ではありませんでしたが、通路側の席からでしたが良かったですよ。
食事を付けたい方は付けて予約してください。席がスタジオの真ん中でしたよ。

This time, we participated in a tour for our honeymoon. It's truly moving to experience a show where the audience can cheer and get excited together, something we rarely get to do in our daily lives. At the end, we even got to take photos with the performers, which was a lot of fun! The hula dance and fire dance were of very high quality and really got the audience pumped up, making us feel the thrill of the flames as well. Since it's an indoor stage, it's easy to go regardless of the weather. I would love to go again when I visit Hawaii!

今回は新婚旅行でツアーに参加しました。
こんなに歓声をあげて観客皆で盛り上がれるショーは普段、日常、なかなか体験出来ないので感激です。最後は出演していた方にお写真も撮って頂けてとても楽しませて頂きました！フラダンスや炎のダンス、かなり完成度が高くて盛り上げてくれるので 観客側のこっちも炎のスリルと同時に盛り上がります。雨天関係なく室内のステージなのでいつでも行きやすいです。またハワイに来た時は行きたいです！

Last minute I decided to add this onto my itinerary and it was so worth it! The magic island feels like the perfect spot to dip your toes into scuba diving!

We saw lots of fish and turtles almost the whole time snorkeling. I highly recommend this tour. It was only an hour and a half from getting out there in the catamaran to docking back in. The beverages, especially the Mai Tai’s were delicious as well.

I mistakenly went to the wrong meeting place and was at the counter waiting, feeling lost without any sign of the person I was supposed to meet. Fortunately, a staff member came to look for me, which was a huge help. The service was excellent.

集合場所を間違えてしまい、カウンターで待てどくらせど目印の人もおらず途方に暮れていたところ、スタッフの方が探しに来てくれて大変助かりました。サービス最高です。

What scared my son was until we took off! (Until then, he kept complaining about me making the reservation. Haha) But the staff was amazing!! Honestly, there was no time to be scared. Haha We were given instructions one after another, and before we knew it, the first group was flying away. We were in the third group. Since we were watching everyone else, we were fully prepared! I wasn't scared at all. I enjoyed the scenery♪ The flight is only a few minutes long, so it's very short, but the round trip by boat is also fun! It would be good to have a camera or video with an easy-to-hold grip that you just need to hold on to. I used my phone, so it was a bit complicated and difficult (laughs). Anyway, it was so much fun that I definitely want to make a reservation when I go to Hawaii! *It was canceled twice due to strong winds. I really felt that they prioritize safety. Both Veltra and the operating company responded promptly, and since it was a cancellation due to the weather right before, the reservation change was free!

操作が容易で握っておくだけの持ち手を付けたカメラかビデオを持っておくと良さそう。私は携帯だったので、操作がややこしく大変でした（笑）
兎に角、楽しいので、ハワイに行ったら必ず予約したいです！
※強風で２回キャンセルになりました。それだけ安全に配慮されていると実感。ベルトラも実施会社もこまめに対応してくれて、直前の天候によるキャンセルでしたので、予約変更も無料でした！

If you're looking to go parasailing near Honolulu, this is the place to choose. It's conveniently close to Ala Moana Center, and the height is amazing! You can fly with Diamond Head in the background! It's best to add the photo option! The staff is super friendly. If you ask for "Meni Water," it makes it even more fun!

I live on the mainland, and this time I met up with a friend from Japan in Honolulu. My friend, who hasn't been to Hawaii in a while, expressed a strong desire to see a hula dance show, so we decided to participate.

For retirees like us, Hawaii seems to be becoming a distant world, and as organizers, they must be struggling to balance the reality of Hawaii with the fantasy, which is likely why they created this Hula + Rock show. While the hula is enjoyable, the rock part can be fun if you view it as an impersonation show. The live show industry has faced tremendous challenges due to COVID-19, and I hope we can support them in any way possible.

As for the meal, to be honest, it was disappointing. I had hoped for something special, but the food was just what you could get at any restaurant outside. My friend, who really enjoyed the show, mentioned that there are many good restaurants nearby, so next time we will enjoy dinner there and just focus on the show.

当方米本土在住、今回は日本の友人とホノルルで待ち合わせ。日本友人は、久々のハワイで、是非フラダンスショウが見たい、との希望で参加しました。
私たちのようなリタイア世代の心の中にあるハワイは、もう遠い世界になりつつあるようで、主催者としても、現実のハワイと幻想のバランスを取ろうと苦肉の策の演出がこのフラ+Rock なのでしょうね。フラはよいとして、Rockはそっくりさんの物まねショウとしてみると楽しめます。コロナで、特にライブショウ関係者は大変な災難を受けています。少しでも彼らを応援できれば良いなと思います。
お食事は、正直、期待外れ。特別なものが用意されるのかと期待したのですが、外のレストランでもいただけるものばかりでした。ショウが大いに気に行った友人は、場所柄良いレストランが近くにたくさんあるので、次回は食事はそちらで楽しみ、ショウだけでとのことでした。

We did this on our last night in Waikiki and it did not disappoint! We even saw whales. A must do!

The crew was amazing and funny also quick to answer any question you had ! Saw at least 10 whales! Would definitely go again!

The day after the Honolulu Marathon was free time. Since it depended on the weather and my physical condition, I made an online reservation on-site after the marathon. It was a busy time for travelers, and many spots were already booked, but I finally found an opening for a private lesson. The price was a bit high, but it couldn't be helped. It's great that they accept participants up to 80 years old.

The reception on the day was the worst. A Japanese female staff member was in charge, and while I felt relieved at first, her attitude was extremely cold. I was given a long T-shirt for kids to wear over my swimsuit, specifically a size S for children—about 5 or 6 years old! Even when I said it was impossible, she insisted that it would be sufficient for me. Is this bullying?

The people around me sympathized and suggested that I should get an exchange, and reluctantly, they brought out a proper size from a back room. I was the only Japanese person there, but having Japanese staff didn't guarantee comfort; in fact, I learned that I could be treated poorly.

As for surfing, I was able to stand on the board and ride the waves after just two or three tries. Getting up from a prone position to standing requires leg strength. It's definitely not something to do right after a full marathon.

ホノルルマラソン翌日のフリータイム。天気と体調次第なので、マラソン終了後、現地でネット申し込みしました。旅行者が多い時期でもあり、予約は結構埋まっていて、ようやくプライベートレッスンの空きを見つけました。金額割高だけど、仕方ない。80歳までokもありがたい。
当日の受付は最悪。日本人女性スタッフが采配していて、安心したのも束の間、めちゃくちゃ塩対応。水着の上にガードの長Tシャツを着るのだが、私に渡されたのは子供用Sサイズ。5、6歳くらいの！
無理、と言っても、あなたにはそれで充分と。これってイジメ？
周りの人も見かねて、交換してもらうべきと共鳴してくれて、渋々奥の部屋からまともなサイズのを取り出してきた。
日本人は私だけでしたが、日本人スタッフがいれば安心ということでは無いな。むしろ、ゴミのような扱いを受ける場合もあると知った。
サーフィン自体は、2，3回でボードに立って波に乗る事ができた。
腹這いから、瞬時にボードに立つので、脚力が必要。フルマラソン直後にやるものではないな。

They rein acted Michael Jackson and Elvis alot ❤️ They have a beautiful Polynesian singer /host . My fav part was the fire show thats what I was trily just waiting on ❤️ They serve awesome drinks virgin if requested❤️ Nice time wiith my man.

It was a lot of fun and lovely to see the fireworks and the night sky filled with stars! We are going to do it again! :-)

I made a reservation for stand-up paddleboarding, but I was advised to switch to surfing due to strong winds. It was a different experience from what I originally intended, but thanks to the careful instruction, I had a great time. Thank you very much!
