I am so glad we decided to take this hike through Veltra tours, we were provided with walking sticks (which you will definitely need), water and insect repellent. I am a 60 years young female with lower back arthritis, my girlfriend is 72 years young and we both survived and enjoyed it.. The scenery along the hike is beautiful. You should not wear your very nice gym shoes due to some mud and rocks along the way. Getting to the top (end of hike) seems to never come quick enough, but by the end of the hike when you see how beautiful the waterfall is, it becomes well worth it.

We departed from Kaka'ako, and the pickup from Waikiki was quick. I participated in the Honolulu Screamer during my previous trip, and this time I was taken care of with parasailing. Since it was around 8 AM, the seawater was cold, so I requested not to touch the water, but the boat's driving technique was excellent, and I was able to enjoy the view from 150 meters without touching the water. If you're going to parasail, I recommend going for 150 meters. I think first-timers may feel anxious or scared, but once you experience it, you'll wish you had done it sooner. You'll be back in Waikiki by just after 9 AM, so I think it's easy for those with other schedules to fit this in.

カカアコから出航でワイキキから送迎もすぐなので前の旅行でもホノルルスクリーマーに参加させていただき今回はパラセイリングでお世話になりました。朝8時台ということもあり海水が冷たかったので着水せずとお願いしましたがボートの運転テクニックも抜群で一度も着水せず高さ150ｍからの景色を堪能することが出来ました。どうせパラをするのなら150ｍがお勧めです。というか初めの人は不安や怖さがあると思いますが一度体験すればこんなに良い体験をもっと早くすればと思うはずです。9時過ぎにはワイキキに帰って来れるので他のスケジュールがある人にも気軽に出来ると思います。

This was our first luau and we both enjoyed it.

Husband and I chose the Golden Circle package. We were given leis when we arrived, seated next to the stage, and were among the first to go up to the buffet.

The buffet was typical buffet foods with some Hawaiian additions. It was nie to taste new flavors but, the meats were overcooked and dry. Typical steam tray buffet. There were some nice vegetable options and the desserts were good. I don't recommend the poi. Try it somewere else.

The show takes the guests on a tour of the Polynesian islands through dance. The dancers play to all 3 sides of the seating so everyone gets a good show. Woo! The dancers were great. The musicians were great. The emcee was great. Yes, we enjoyed the show. I was mesmerized by the skill of the dancers.

My biggest complaint is the seating. We were very cramped at the tables. The chairs are uncushioned wood and tightly packed. It kinda reminded me of a wedding-type seating.

I enjoyed a pleasant walk in the sky with a great height. The wind was comfortable, and the view of Waikiki and Diamond Head was fantastic. The staff took photos of us from the boat. They recorded the data on an SD card, taking 50 pictures for $30. I bought them as a keepsake since I couldn't take pictures of myself flying, and I'm very satisfied with the quality of the photos. I participated alone this time, but I would like to go with my son next time.

Seconds after we got to the snorkeling spot, one of the guides emerged from the water holding an octopus, which everyone got to see and interact with. There were probably 7 or 8 sea turtles of all sizes and ages around us the whole time we were in the water, in addition to the tropical fish and moray eels on the reef. It was absolutely incredible.

Since I wanted to experience parasailing, I signed up for the highest option at 150 meters. It's not just for one person; you can ride tandem with up to three people, so this time I went with one other person. When we reached the highest altitude, we had a stunning view from Waikiki to Diamond Head, and it felt like Diamond Head was at the same height as us. When I looked down for a moment, the boats looked so tiny that it made me dizzy, but the wind felt nice, and the scenery was beautiful, so as long as I didn't look down, it was fine. I think it was a fun experience.

一人ではなく、最大グループで三人までタンデムで乗れるので、今回は二人で乗りました。

I waited for 30 minutes at the meeting point on the day, but the pickup car did not arrive, so I returned to the hotel and had the hotel concierge call. They said on the phone that they had gone to the meeting point on time. On another day, they arranged for me to be picked up at the hotel where I was staying. The driver was very engaging, and I had a great time. During parasailing, there was always music playing on the boat, creating a lively atmosphere. Since I had experience with snowboarding, I was able to catch waves from the first try. My wife was also able to ride well from her second attempt! Riding the waves and returning to the point used muscles I had never used before, and I was really exhausted. However, the instructor was very kind and taught us even though his Japanese was limited, and I was very satisfied! For those trying it for the first time, it can be hard to get into in Japan, but I think it's great to challenge yourself in Hawaii!

I wanted to take a stroll in Waikiki, so I opted for a meet-up without transportation, but I got lost! When I entered "Hawaiian Parasail" into Google Maps, it guided me there somehow. However, I couldn't make it by the 8:45 meeting time and was 10 minutes late. I was sweating as I spoke to the staff at the counter, but they said it was fine since the activity starts at 9:00.

The boat was quite rocky, and many people were feeling seasick, with some even reversing. However, looking at the parachutes in the air helps reduce motion sickness! It looks quite scary at first, but once you're on it, it's exhilarating and not scary at all! You can even take photos with your phone in a waterproof case.

I chose a medium length for the rope, but it might feel like there's not much difference among the options. Since it's close to Waikiki and you can see Diamond Head beautifully, I recommend doing this activity!

ワイキキをお散歩したかったので送迎なし現地集合にしましたが、迷いました！！
グーグルマップにハワイアンパラセイルと入力すると出てきてくれたので何とか辿り着けましたが…。
8:45の集合時間には間に合わず10分遅刻。汗だくで窓口のお姉さんに話しかけると9:00〜だから大丈夫とのこと。
ボートはかなり揺れるので船酔いしてる方も多かったです。リバースしている方も。
飛んでいるパラシュートを見ると酔いにくいですよ！

ロープの長さは中くらいのにしましたが体感的にはどれもあまり変わらないかもしれません…。
ワイキキから近くダイヤモンドヘッドも綺麗に見えるのでこちらで乗られることをお勧めします！

It felt wonderful. The crew was friendly, and the deck was filled with people from various countries, all enjoying the natural beauty and the atmosphere was great with everyone feeling high from the beauty and the drinks.
