There are no instructions in Japanese, as there are few Japanese participants, but I didn't have any particular issues. I took motion sickness medication, but it didn't help at all. The ride was quite bumpy. I didn't vomit, but I felt unwell, and even though there was an all-you-can-drink option, I couldn't finish my first drink. The high-energy voices of the other passengers and crew only made my nausea and headache worse. It's my own fault, but I will never participate again. I absolutely cannot recommend this for those who are prone to motion sickness or have concerns!

I wanted to see the fireworks from the sea, but the night view of Waikiki and the starry sky away from the city lights were truly beautiful, and I was moved even without the fireworks. And of course, the fireworks were beautiful too.

Going barefoot and boarding during high tide can get you quite wet if the waves are not timed well. It's best to wear beach sandals and clothes that can get wet, like swimwear. In March, I waded into the sea up to my shins at night to board the boat, and inside the boat, I was barefoot. The night sea breeze hit me directly, and by the time I disembarked, I was freezing. I think bringing a thicker jacket, using the restroom before boarding, and limiting fluid intake would make the experience even more enjoyable.

I heard great reviews from my colleague about her mother, so I made a reservation for my mother in her 70s. I was worried that we might get a bad seat since we arrived late, but we ended up with a very good table, the second one from the center. This was my fourth time in Hawaii, and having previously experienced sunset dinner cruises like the Star of Honolulu, I wanted to enjoy the sunset in a different way, so I joined this course. Fortunately, the weather was great, and I was able to enjoy a beautiful sunset. Unlike the dinner cruises, this experience had a wild feel to it, allowing me to fully enjoy the sense of being abroad. However, everything from the reception to the staff guidance on board was in English, and the ratio of Western guests was quite high, so the way the atmosphere built up on the ship was different from what I'm used to as a Japanese person, which made me feel a bit out of place. Nevertheless, I had a great time overall! I highly recommend it.

After finishing the tour, we went to the venue, where our seats were right at the front of the central stage. Depending on the number of participants, I think VIP courses usually have front-row seats. The content of the show was also very satisfying! Elvis and Michael were the main acts, and the quality of each was high! I believe the song choices were mostly familiar, and the female singer's performances in between featured famous sounds, which made me feel like I was in Hawaii. We had the most fun time on the boat. The water of Waikiki can’t be explained. The staff was very friendly, as they say with a lot of “aloha spirit”. Great music and it’s open bar, you can’t go wrong with any of that. Music was on point, and the whales decided to give us a show as well. Hands down, the best activity in Hawaii, so worthy!!!

I previously participated in a regular sailing to enjoy the sunset, so this time I signed up because I could see the fireworks on Friday night. Watching the fireworks from the boat was a different experience compared to viewing them from Waikiki Beach, and it was great. There was nothing obstructing the view, so I could see the fireworks clearly from the moment they launched and as they continued to go off one after another.

It was a bit disappointing that we stopped the boat early and stayed in the same spot for quite a long time to watch the fireworks. It gets chilly at night, so bringing a windbreaker was definitely the right choice.

I had a reservation starting at 5:00 PM, but for some reason, I was guided to a course starting at 5:30 PM and ended up waiting on the beach for an hour feeling anxious. This year in Hawaii seems to be quite cold, and I think it would be tough without a somewhat thick jacket on the water. In fact, there were people wearing thin down jackets. We wore hoodies, but we ended up putting on the windbreakers we had brought as a backup while on the water. Although you won't get splashed by waves, you do have to enter the water when boarding and disembarking, so if you're wearing long pants or a long skirt, it's better to wear something that can be rolled up to above the knees. The reception and everything else is in English. During our time there, about 80% of the guests were from English-speaking countries, except for six Japanese people and a family of four from Korea. Before boarding, there is a photo service that takes pictures without asking, and after disembarking, you're encouraged to purchase them for around $20. For some reason, even though we had our pictures taken, we ended up with none. The sailing itself was wonderful, and even while enjoying drinks on the water, I didn't feel seasick and had a great time.

At first, I thought it wouldn't be much since the price was low, but the crew was great at getting everyone excited. Even though I couldn't speak Japanese, it didn't matter; they worked hard to engage us with gestures. There were many foreigners, but we could all enjoy the experience together. When the fireworks went off, the excitement peaked again.

It was truly fun, and if I come to Hawaii again, I definitely plan to join this again.

This boat trip was amazing! The captain was extremely knowledgeable and even looked out for dolphins and whales for us! We werent able to see any dolphins, but we were able to see a whale. We also saw some honu's, (green sea turtles) and some really cool fish. He also had a lot of great jokes, which made me smile! Well worth it!
