I have been on a catamaran before and have participated in sunset cruises, but this time was the best.

Above all, the hospitality of the captain and the bartender was outstanding!

And not only did we see the sunset, but we also got to see dolphins!

I have seen whales before, but they were a bit far away, so that was a little disappointing. However, this time, as the captain said, we saw them up close.

And the casual interactions with the friendly mainland people on board.

I was reminded once again how important it is for each person to connect!

カタマランには以前にも乗ったことがあるし、サンセットクルーズにも参加したことがあるし、、、と思いながら参加したのですが、今回のは最高でした。

何より船長とバーテンダーのホスピタリティが最高！

そして、サンセットだけでなく、なんとイルカも見ることができました！

クジラは見たことがあるのですが、やや遠かったので少し残念でした。しかし今回は、船長の言った通り、すごく間近で見るました。

そして船上でのフランクなメインランドの人達とのささいな関わり。

人間、ひとりひとりが関わることが大事なんだと改めて実感しました！

The personal attention that you receive during the dinner and pre-show entertainment made you feel so special. The staff remembered your name and details about you — such as where your from, the drinks you like, etc was above and beyond. The food was delicious. My daughter is a vegetarian and they went out of their way to create a vegetarian plate just for her!! The food options on the buffet were all delicious. Both the prime rib and the pork melted in your mouth.

Once we were seated in the theater the videos enriched the show. One of my favorite parts was how the hula girls appearance changed throughout the decades. Elvis was great and Michael Jackson was very impressive. It was more like a musical show than I expected. It was a great surprise. Best night I had in Waikiki ,,,

Food was wonderful and show was even better! VELTRA supplied all details before hand making it an easy going night for us! Also great if planning a family night and service was amazing

At the meeting point, there are similar boats, so it's essential to confirm the logo of the black-hulled "Mai Tai." At first, I mistakenly went to the reception of a different boat in front. When the start time arrived, there was an energetic explanation, and we boarded with that same excitement. Soon after, Mai Tais were served, but you really have to go and get them yourself. There were many young Americans, and the atmosphere felt just like a party. We went out much further than I expected, and Diamond Head was beautiful. You can enjoy it for a full two hours.

開始時間になると、ノリノリの説明があり
そのテンションのまま、乗船。
すぐに、マイタイがふるまわれますが、
自分から、グイグイ取りに行かないとだめです。
若いアメリカ人多し、まさにパーティ会場のようなテンションで
突っ走ります。
思っていたより、かなり沖まで行ってくれて
ダイアモンドヘッドがきれいでした。
二時間たっぷり、楽しめます。

An American group with a wedding reception vibe, just so cheerful! Unlimited Mai Tais, 4 to 5 cups! I was surprised by the dolphins jumping.

結婚式二次会風のアメリカ人グループ、とにかく陽気❗️ マイタイ飲み放題を4～5杯‼️ イルカのジャンプにはびっくりしました。

My friend and I had such a totally awesome night at Rock-a-Hula, and want to go see it again! We got the VIP dinner show, and it was fantastic. From beginning to end, we were treated like VIPs, and couldn't have asked for better service, food or entertainment.

The cocktail and appetizer reception before the theater doors opened was a great prelude to our evening, and their original mai tais were really yummy too. So many delicious things to nibble on that I had to be careful and not get too full before dinner! Oh and dinner, salad, steak, lobster and dessert...so.... tasty! Plus our server was so attentive and awesome :)

Our VIP seats go us close to the stage so we had an amazing view of the performance, and man was it awesome! Elvis, Michael Jackson and Katy Perry, all on one stage for a seriously rockin' evening. The woman who played Katy Perry was my favorite! Not only did she look and sound exactly like her, but she was the sweetest person too!

The fire knife dance was scary awesome, and the perfect topper to a great night. Perfect option if you just want a fun time in Waikiki!

It was an exciting and enjoyable evening. I had to make a reservation early for the evening, as last year it was fully booked and I couldn't get in. This time, I made a reservation from Japan and went on my second choice date. Since most of the guests were Japanese, I felt a bit more at ease.

迫力があり楽しい夕時でした。
夕方の予約は早い目にしないといけないので去年は予約いっぱいでダメだったので今回は日本で予約して第二希望日で乗りました。日本の方がほとんどだったので少し安心でした。

This was my third time on the Sunset Sailing Mai Tai Catamaran, and for the first time, I saw other Japanese participants besides ourselves.

Still, the view of Diamond Head from the sea, the refreshing scenery and breeze, and the setting sun were amazing. I think when I go to Hawaii again, I will rely on the Sunset Sailing for my fourth time.

今回で３回目の【サンセットセーリング　マイタイ・カタマラン号】でしたが、初めて自分達以外の日本人が参加しているのを見ました。

それでも海側から見るダイヤモンドヘッドや、爽やかな景色と風、沈んでいく夕日は最高で、またハワイに行った時には４回目のサンセットセーリングにお世話になると思います。

If you've been to a luau before and want to see another dinner show that isn't exactly a luau, this will probably fit the bill. There's plenty of Hawaiian entertainment and a buffet similar to what you'd find at a luau, but generally speaking this is a more "American" dinner show, like one you'd find in Las Vegas.

The featured stars are Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and HIRIE, a local artist, but there are also a variety of dances, including Polynesian and contemporary choreography. Hirie performed some of her own hits as well as newer songs such as "How Far I'll Go" from the movie Moana!

There's also the hula, Tahitian, and fire knife dancing that you'd normally see at a luau, but there's a good balance of traditional and contemporary. This is an awesome alternative if you've already been to the other luaus in Waikiki.

The food and service were great. We had the luau-style buffet dinner and everything was delicious, especially the whole roasted pig. A luau cannot be complete without it! The hula dancers and musicians were also very fun and friendly. The show dancers were so talented too. Especially Elvis, he even went into the audience at one point and interacted with some of the crowd! Adding a local singer to the mix was a nice touch as well. It gave a more authentic feel that you are in Hawaii as she sang along with Elvis and Michael Jackson. The evening show was a wonderful way to end the night. I highly recommend this show if you are looking a lively, entertaining night in Honolulu!

Friday night firework dinner cruise was fantastic.
Drinks, music, food, picturesque views of the city, mountains, and ocean. Sat on the front of the boat outside with my wife and 2 teenage boys.
A memory that’s hard to recreate. I read reviews prior to the trip and saw griping about the food.
Ridiculous in my opinion. If you want gourmet food then go to a 5 Star restaurant. If you want the memory of a sunset cruise on a catamaran with fireworks, alcoholic beverages, music, and fun people the. I recommend

Watching the fireworks from the sea on Friday was such a luxury. The yacht cruiser was comfortable and didn't sway much. The food wasn't gourmet, but there was plenty of it, and drinks were generously unlimited. Above all, the captain and the crew were all fantastic.

金曜日の花火を洋上から見るなんてとても贅沢でした。
ヨット・クルーザーはさして揺れることもなく快適で、
料理は高級ではないが、量は十分あり、飲み物もご厚意で飲み放題でした。
何より船長はじめ乗組員は皆様最高です。

The wind was strong and the waves were high, but it was a pleasant sailing experience while enjoying a Mai Tai. Last time, dolphins swam alongside us, so I was hoping for the same this time, but unfortunately, they didn't show up! I would love to participate again.

風が強く波も高かったけど、マイタイを頂きながら気持ちいいセーリングでした。前回はイルカが併走したので今回も期待してたのですが、今回は現れてくれず残念！ また参加したいです。

I have visited Hawaii many times, but it has been a while since I went out to sea on a boat. My wife, who easily gets seasick, suggested trying a catamaran cruise. Unfortunately, due to the cloudy sky and strong winds, we couldn't see the sunset, but we enjoyed a pleasant time in the sea breeze. Next time, I would like to go on a calm, sunny day.

これまで何度となく訪れたハワイですが、海に船で出るのは久しぶり。船酔いしやすい妻が乗ってみたいと言い出したカタマラン・クルーズ。
曇り空かつ風の強い日だったため、サンセットは残念ながら見ることはできなかったが、潮風の中を心地よい時間を過ごせた。
今度は晴れた穏やかな日に乗船してみたいと思う。

I was relieved to find out that it was okay as long as I arrived by the boarding time when I called because I was running late for check-in. It was a day with very strong winds and quite high waves, and almost everyone got pretty wet when boarding the boat from the shore. Unfortunately, I couldn't see the sunset, but it was a great experience to see Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head from the sea. I would like to try again next time.

チェックイン時間に遅刻しそうになりTelすると、乗船時間までに来てくれればOKとのことで助かりました。風が非常に強い日で波がかなり高く、波打ち際から船に乗り込む際にほとんど全員がかなり濡れました。
サンセットは残念ながら見れませんでしたが、海から見るワイキキビーチやダイヤモンドヘッドはいい経験になりました。
次回リベンジしたいと思います。

The sunset was obstructed by clouds as it sank into the sea, but this cruise was very pleasant, and believe it or not, it's my fourth time. When you come to Hawaii, you have to take this cruise to really get started!

During the night tour, we could watch the fireworks. I recommend bringing a jacket or windbreaker to protect against the cold wind.

This is my second time participating. This time, I tried it during sunset. Unfortunately, due to the weather, I wasn't able to see the sunset, but no matter what time you participate, it's an activity where you can feel the breeze of Waikiki. I'm sure I want to ride again.

あいにくの天気で夕日にはお目にかかることが出来ませんでしたが
ただ、どの時間帯に参加してもワイキキの風を感じられるアクティビティです
きっとまた乗りたいと思います

This is my second time participating. Last time, after checking in, I wasn't informed of anything and just waited for over 40 minutes. However, this time, perhaps due to improvements in the system, I was informed of the meeting time 50 minutes later at check-in, which allowed me to return to the hotel for a bit. Unfortunately, the cruise was marred by cloudy weather, so I was disappointed that I couldn't see the sunset.

2度目の参加です。前回は受け付けをしてから何も伝えてもらえず、ただただ40分以上待たされましたが、今回は、システムが改善されたのか、受け付け時に50分後の集合時間を伝えてもらえてた事で、一度ホテルに帰る事が出来ました。肝心のクルーズは、生憎の曇天だったためサンセットを見られず残念でした。

It was a wonderful activity. The sunset while swaying on the waves was the best time. The Mai Tai was great too. Interacting with the people I rode with made it even more enjoyable.

We booked the Terrace Luau Buffet & Show. At the terrace, we first enjoyed cheerful songs and dances while having complimentary cocktails (non-alcoholic options are available) and pineapple. Then, the whole roasted pig made its appearance! Not only was it visually impressive, but it also tasted great.

The instructions for going to the buffet and the theater were all in English, but it was manageable (laughs). The show was packed with performances, featuring hula, Elvis, and Michael! I even got to shake hands with Elvis, who came up to the second-floor seats.

While Elvis and Michael didn't look exactly like the originals, the quality of the show was high, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. Time flew by, and we had a wonderful night in Hawaii!

私たちはテラスルアウビュッフェ＆ショーを申し込みました。
テラスではまず陽気な歌と踊りを楽しみながら無料のカクテル（ノンアルコールも選べます）とパイナップルをいただきます。すると、豚の丸焼きが登場！見た目のインパクトもさることながら、味もとてもよかったです。
ビュッフェを取りに行く順番や劇場への案内はすべて英語でしたが、なんとかなります(笑)
ショーは、フラありエルビスありマイケルありで盛りだくさん！
二階席まで上がってきてくれたエルビスと握手できました。
エルビスやマイケルは、そっくり…というわけではないのですが…、ショーとして質が高く、雰囲気で楽しめます。あっという間に時間は過ぎて、楽しいハワイの夜を堪能できました！

The sunset over Hawaii viewed from the sea was grand and truly magical. When the boat headed out to sea, we had to overcome large waves, which felt like being on a roller coaster... I couldn't help but scream. Once we were out at sea, the rocking settled down, and I enjoyed the cruise while sipping on a drink. The captain and crew were friendly and made the experience fun. Additionally, there were fewer Japanese people, so it really felt like I was "overseas," and I was able to bond with people from various countries on board. Even if we didn't speak the same language, it's convenient now with smartphone translation apps. Departing from Waikiki Beach, this activity offers about two hours of enjoyment. This is a must-do when you come to Hawaii!

海の上から眺めるハワイの夕日は、スケールが大きくとても幻想的でした。
船が沖に乗り出す時、大きな波を乗り越えるので、まるでジェットコースターに乗ったかのような感覚に…。思わず叫んでしまいました。
一旦沖に出てしまうと揺れは収まり、ゆっくりとドリンクを飲みながらクルーズを楽しめました。
キャプテンやクルーもフレンドリーで楽しく盛り上げてくれます。また、日本の方が少ないので「海外に来たーーー」という気分が味わえ、同乗した色々な国の方とも親しくなれます。言葉が通じなくても今は、スマホの翻訳アプリもあるので便利ですよね。
ワイキキビーチから出発、約2時間たっぷり楽しめるアクティビティですね。
これはもうハワイに来たらマストです！

I thought it was just an impersonation show of Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson, but it was much more than that. It was an enjoyable experience that mixed visuals, various genres of music, and dance all the way to the end. The beauty of Hawaiian music and hula dancing was conveyed, and I had a precious time that I could only experience here. Personally, I was constantly overwhelmed by the sharpness of the dancers' movements.

エルビスプレスリーやマイケルジャクソンのものまねショーだと思っていたら、それだけではなく、映像や色々なジャンルの音楽やダンスなど織り交ぜながら最後まで楽しめる内容でした。また、ハワイアン音楽やフラダンスの素晴らしさが伝わり、ここでしか味わえない貴重な時間が過ごせました。個人的には、ダンサー達の動きの切れの良さに圧倒させられっぱなしでした。

I requested to cancel my reservation at the last minute due to health issues, and thanks to the wonderful arrangement by the staff, I was able to change my schedule to the next day. Thank you so much. Thanks to that, I was able to participate in the terrace dinner and the rock and flash show, regaining my energy. It became a memorable night along with the commemorative photo ($25). I am grateful!

体調崩して直前の予約キャンセルを申し出たところ、なんとスタッフさんの素敵な計らいで翌日に日程の変更をしていただきました。ほんとうにありがとうございました。おかげさまで、テラスディナーもロック&フラショーも元気を取り戻して参加することができました。記念の写真($25)と共に良き想い出の一夜になりました。感謝で〜す。

I participated in the evening on the day of arrival. I was wondering how the sunset would be since there were clouds, but it was visible at times through the clouds, and I was moved. There were only one or two other Japanese people besides us. Music was playing, and the foreigners were really into it. There were free drinks, including beer, Mai Tai, and soft drinks, for two hours. I also purchased a photo taken before boarding as a memory. I highly recommend it.

到着日の夕方に参加しました。
雲が出ていたので夕日はどうかなと思いましたが、時々雲の間から見えて
感動しました。
日本人は私たちともう1組くらいしかいませんでした。
音楽がかかっていて、外国人はノリノリ。
2時間の間ビールやマイタイ、ソフトドリンクのフリードリンク付きです。
乗る前に撮っていただいた写真も思い出に購入しました。
おすすめです。

I’m not good at English, and while they explained things in a fun way with jokes, I just couldn’t understand!

The fireworks were very beautiful and moving.

However, it was very disappointing that the people at the front were drunk, throwing their drinks into the sea and vomiting in the water.

I joined the tour on the recommendation of a local friend, and the crew was really fun, making it enjoyable even for those who don't understand much English! The weather was great, and it was truly the best! I would love to join again if I have the chance! It can be a bit windy and chilly on the boat, so I think it's a good idea to bring a light jacket.

現地の友達に勧められて参加したツアーでしたが、船員さんも凄くノリが良く英語があまり分からなくても楽しめました！天気も良くて本当に最高でした！！また機会があれば参加したいと思いました！船の上は少し風も強く肌寒いので、薄手のジャンパーぐらいは持って行った方がいいと思います。

Since we decided to meet on-site, I will head to the venue by 6:30 PM. If you show your reservation screen at the reception, they will guide you. First, we will toast with a welcome drink, then enjoy a buffet while listening to music and watching hula performances. The dining area is right next to the reception, not inside the venue.

I thought it might be fine not to include a meal, but since there will be hula performances during the meal and the people who bring drinks are also part of the show, I think it would be nice to remember their faces for a different kind of enjoyment during the show.

After the meal, we will enter the venue and freely look at the exhibits before heading to the second-floor seating. The seating arrangement is determined by the order of entry. When we went, we were able to sit in the very front of the second floor. It seems that on the first floor, you can watch the show while dining.

The show starts with visuals, upbeat music, and hula dancing. The impersonation show is entirely in English, so if you don't understand English, you might miss some of the fun. However, the Elvis impersonator came to the second floor and even shook hands, making it a vibrant show that I would recommend for those who love glamorous performances and rock music.

Both during the meal and the show, the vibe is very American, so I had the impression that, including us, the Japanese audience might not be fully in sync. However, the dynamic stage with quick changes in costumes and stage impressions kept us entertained throughout the slightly over one-hour show, making for a wonderful and enjoyable night.

現地集合にしたので18時30分までに会場へ向かいます。
受付で予約画面を見せると案内してもらえます。
まずはウエルカムドリンクで乾杯したあとに音楽を聞きながら、フラを見ながらのバイキングです。
食事場所は会場の中ではなく受付のすぐとなりになります。

食事の内容的には付けなくてもいいかなーと思いましたが、食事中にフラを披露したりドリンクを持ってきてくれた人がショーにも出ているので、顔を覚えているとショー中も別な楽しみ方があると思います。

食事のあとは会場内に入り展示品などを自由に見てから２階席へ。入った順番で座る場所が決まります。
私たちの時は２階席の一番前に座ることができました。１階では食事をしながらショーが見れるようです。

ショーは映像と軽快な音楽とフラダンスではじまります。
ものまねショーはすべて英語なので英語がわからないと面白さは若干劣るような気がしますが、2階席までエルビスのそっくりさんが来てくれたり握手をしてくれたりするので華やかなショーやロックが好きな方にはおすすめです。

食事中もショー中もノリがアメリカンなので私たちも含め、日本人はノリ切れてないかなー？という印象でしたが、1時間ちょっとのショーの中で衣装もステージの印象も短時間で変化をさせながら迫力あるステージで最後まで飽きさせない演出はとても素晴らしく楽しい夜を過ごせました。

What I love about this show is its variety performance. It has hula dances, Michael Jackson, Elvis and fire eater. All the performances were very good. I love Elvis. I would have loved to see more hula dances but overall it was good. Also, I wish it was a little longer. We opted for the pre-performance buffet dinner and it was good too. The band was good as well. I highly recommend this show to everyone. It is worth it. It is not the usual luau but it had a las vegas impersonators. My family enjoyed it including my teenage kids. It is for all ages. Very well choreographed. Love that it is inside an indoor theatre.
