We started drinking early and enjoyed a leisurely meal in our usual Hawaii style, and decided to have some entertainment for a change. So, I went with my partner to Rock-a-Hula, which I had been curious about for a while.

I felt a bit anxious about the seating arrangement at the buffet, but there was a newlywed couple visiting from Korea right in front of us, and we had a great time chatting during the meal. After the meal, we moved to the adjacent theater. Since it was a Monday and not too crowded, we were guided to the center of the front row, and they made sure to leave space between each group. ショーは流石の一言。規模こそ違えども本場ラスベガスのものと遜色のないインパソ（エルビス、マイケル）、そこにハワイのテイストが加わったとても素晴らしいもので、最初から最後まで夢中で楽しめた。また大きくない劇場に客の入りは半分ほどでも皆が手を抜かず、一生懸命のパフォーマンスには胸が打たれた。
周りにいた家族連れの子供たちは、やはりエルビスやマイケルにはちょっと退屈そうだったが、モアナの歌やファイヤーダンスには大盛り上がりだった。

Since I came all the way to Hawaii, I wanted to experience a luau, so I made a reservation. I participated with my wife and our two children, aged 7 and 4, for a total of four people.

The buffet before the show had flavors that suited Japanese tastes, and it was very delicious! The roast beef and roast pork, freshly sliced by the chef, were particularly exquisite. (The seasoning style allowed us to use our own condiments; I enjoyed mine with rock salt and wasabi.) The tofu poke and salmon poke were also tasty. There was dessert after the meal, and the strawberry gelato was especially delicious.

The food and live performance were absolutely amazing and created a great atmosphere! The buffet style and the variety of dishes (including desserts) made it a perfect choice to go there hungry. Additionally, there was a wide selection of alcohol and drinks! It was fun to have live music close to our seats and to interact with the staff.

We were able to enjoy the band performance up close, which was very exciting. The dance and songs, including those by Michael Jackson, really got everyone pumped up. I'm glad we could spend our last night in Hawaii having such a great time.

The Royal Hawaiian Center is on the 4th floor, so the access was excellent and very helpful.

Next time I go to Hawaii, I think I will opt for a plan that includes just the show.

There is a venue on the 4th floor of the Royal Hawaiian Center, and I was able to find it without any trouble. As soon as I arrived and completed the check-in, I was able to participate in the lei ceremony right away. Since my spouse and I wore aloha shirts, we were able to take beautiful commemorative photos with the lei draped around our necks, which was great.

Because we had reserved VIP seats, we were also guided to the buffet with priority. The freshly made roast beef and whole roasted pig were juicy, tender, and very delicious! We also received two complimentary drinks, so we had more than enough to enjoy without needing to order additional ones.

After the meal, we moved to the theater room, which was about a 3-minute walk away, to watch the Hawaiian show. The authentic hula dance was breathtaking. Additionally, we were able to see sharp dance moves and a tribute to Michael Jackson up close, making it a very meaningful time.

Being able to enjoy both the meal and such a show, I think it was overall a highly cost-effective entertainment experience. I recommend participating at least once if you come to Hawaii!

As a piece of advice for those experiencing this, you receive two drink tickets (separate from the complimentary welcome drink), which can be used at either the dining venue or the show venue. When we tried to order, we were told that the ordering time at the dining venue had passed, so we had to use them at the show venue. The dining venue has a wider drink menu and serves drinks in proper glasses, which enhances the experience. At the show venue, you can drink while watching the show, but the drinks come in takeout containers and the menu is limited. Please be aware that the drink order cutoff time at the dining venue is quite early.

Good: the performers and MC where good. Bad: Food and Drink where minimum. Selection was limited. All seemed a little cheap. No quality drink choices. Best tequila was Cuervo Gold, really! What decade are we in. Ugly: the setting terrible. On a roof at the conference center. No ambiance. A conference room on the roof. Hilton could and should do better. I will not recommend. I picked this Luau mostly because of proximity to our hotel. That was a mistake. It was the worst experience of our week stay in Oahu.

I didn't receive the VIP treatment I was expecting, but I appreciated how kindly everyone was treated, regardless of their category.

The show featuring impersonators of Elvis and Michael was, of course, impressive, but the local female singers also showcased remarkable vocal talent, making it a worthwhile experience. Among them, the final act with the fire knife was thrilling; I was worried they might get burned, but it was executed perfectly—truly impressive! Good job!!

The show's progression followed the calendar year, and the deep admiration for 'Iz' from Hawaii, who appeared on the screen at the end, made the entire performance even more moving.

I signed up for this tour because I wanted to see traditional Hawaiian hula dancing and fire dancing. Before the show, there was a buffet-style dinner, but with the staff's signal, everyone rushed to get their food, creating a huge line. The Royal Hawaiian Center is quite spacious, so I struggled to reach the fourth floor, but I managed to arrive a bit early. Communication in Japanese wasn't very smooth, but I was somehow guided to my seat at the buffet-style dining area. This was my first luau. Although not a traditional luau that one would see on a beach, this one was fantastic. The food was delicious with plenty to choose from, the staff was courteous and helpful, and the show incorporated traditional song and dance along with "Elvis" and "Michael Jackson"...all were so very talented! The seating in the theatre was comfortable, and the location was easy to get to. I highly recommend!

This time, we stayed in Hawaii to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday. We participated in a VIP tour based on a recommendation from one of my mother's friends. We were able to take the elevator to the fourth floor from the Royal Hawaiian Center, Building B, to reach the venue. We arrived at the venue by 5:15 PM.

The meal was a buffet in an outdoor space with a roof. We received service tickets for a Mai Tai and another drink, so we had plenty of alcohol! The buffet offered a variety of dishes to enjoy. However, the waiting time for the meal was too long, so it would be best if that could be improved.

When it was showtime, we moved to the indoor theater. We were seated in the central front area, which allowed us to see the performers up close. The show was packed with entertainment and lasted about two hours! There were dancers who could perform in any genre, from Elvis to Michael! It felt more like an entertainment show than just a hula show, and from that perspective, it was very impressive!

Personally, there was one song by Israel that I loved, and I wished I could have heard a few more solo songs from him. At the end, there was a photo session, and everyone in the venue seemed to have a great time. I want to tell my friends about this experience!

I had seen a hula show before, but this was a different kind of entertainment show! I signed up for the VIP type, and right from the start, I received a fresh lei. I visit Hawaii every year, but this was my first time seeing RockAHula. The Mai Tais and food were even better than I imagined! In between meals, we enjoyed hula dancing, ukulele music, and singing. Both Japanese tourists and locals were having a great time.

From the VIP seats, we were able to watch the show right in the front, enjoying hula and Hawaiian songs, including Elvis and Michael's performances. The engaging production made the time fly by! I highly recommend seeing it at least once.
