It was our first time surfing, and the kids took private lessons while my husband and I opted for semi-private lessons.

Since it was semi-private, there was one instructor for two people, and it was definitely the right choice!

Everyone was able to ride the waves, but the number of rides was different! I recommend the semi-private option because in a mixed group, there are several people. The instructors choose good waves and help push you, so the support is really great.

I truly believe that anyone from children to the elderly can stand on the board here.

Also, you can buy photos later. They also have videos, and they take them very well, so I highly recommend it!

I took a lesson for two hours starting at 3 PM.

I was a bit anxious because I'm not good at English, but the staff member, who has a Japanese wife, was fluent in Japanese, so the pre-lesson explanation in the office was completely fine.

Once we moved to the beach, the stretching and orientation were explained only in English, but I was able to understand it somewhat through gestures.

I think the actual time we got to experience surfing was around 60 to 90 minutes (it's a bit vague since I wasn't wearing a watch...).

The staff member pushed the board at just the right moment, so I was able to stand up properly!

They let me use a long board, so even though it was my first experience, I was able to stand up relatively easily.

At first, we took turns one by one, but as we got used to it, they allowed us to stand together in pairs, and I appreciated the thoughtfulness of the staff!

I participated with a friend. Our group included four pairs (two from Japan and two from overseas), totaling 12 participants. The person in charge of us did not speak Japanese, and we were only given a notice written in Japanese, but as long as you read it properly, there are no issues (it includes precautions for parasailing and landing methods).

The parasailing lasted about 5 to 10 minutes each time, and I was very satisfied! Right in front of us was Diamond Head, and below was the deep blue sea; it felt like we were gracefully flying alongside airplanes. At first, the height was surprising, but it wasn't scary at all, and it felt quite relaxing. However! The real activity felt like it was on the boat, as it rocked quite a bit! The life jackets are only worn during parasailing, so if you're not holding onto the railing, you might seriously feel like you're going to be thrown off. The women in our group screamed! We took motion sickness medication, so we were fine, but four people ended up getting seasick.

I think the waiting time on the boat depends on the number of participants, and since we were facing backward to watch those parasailing, along with the wave height, it contributed to the motion sickness. I strongly recommend taking motion sickness medication in advance if you're prone to it, but overall, I’m glad I participated!

There were four groups including us, and everyone except us was from abroad, but the atmosphere on the boat was really nice! Parasailing was a bit scary, but it felt amazing, and it was so much fun to see everything from up high!!! They checked with us about taking photos when it was our turn, and they were also filming with a GoPro. I saw that the group before me had some great shots, so I decided to purchase the photos they took of us! This also became a wonderful memory!

I'm really glad we chose to go up to 150 meters! If I come back to Hawaii, I definitely want to go parasailing again!

We participated with three adults. There was no transportation provided, and we made a reservation for 3 PM. We had to wait in the blazing sun for an hour from the designated check-in time, and the departure was around 3:30 PM. The boat was quite rocky, but I was fine since I took motion sickness medication. I have a fear of heights, but after reading everyone’s experiences, I decided to go for the 150 meters. While the stunning views distracted me, it was still scary. Especially after the Japon, we went up at quite a speed, and I ended up screaming so much that my voice went hoarse. The other two said they wanted to do it again.

I requested a photo shoot for $30, and there were a total of 85 pictures taken. The other group had the same number of photos. I had high hopes since there was a telephoto lens, but most of the pictures were blurry due to continuous shooting, and in some, my face was completely dark because of backlighting. Only a few decent photos turned out. It might have been better to exchange cameras with the other group or use AirDrop to share photos with smartphones.

他のグループの方とカメラを交換して撮りあったり、スマホのAirDropで交換
したほうがよかったかもしれません。

We participated as a family of four. Out of the ten participants, everyone except our family was foreign, and they were lively, cheering and clapping, making the time enjoyable even outside of our own experience. Each pair had about ten minutes of experience, and we returned to the port after 1 hour and 10 minutes from departure.

It was our first time parasailing, and the view from above was magnificent and refreshing. When we reached the highest point, it felt like we were at the same height as Diamond Head. The sky and sea were both a brilliant blue, and Waikiki, with its lined-up hotels, looked beautiful, making us feel like we had stepped into a postcard.

Our daughters participated while filming with a GoPro, and that video became a nice souvenir. Just for reference, I tend to be a bit anxious and brought various items with me, but I hardly got wet (just a little on my feet), and I didn't need to use a towel or change clothes. Haha.

OMG!! What an experience! Soaring above beautiful blue waters with sunny skies! The captain and his mate were entertaining and engaging. They gave a mini lesson, took pics and were understanding with our autistic son whom went first with his dad! The location was super convenient since it was right in the back of our hotel! Our time was suppose to be later but they were able to move us up which apllowed us to get to our next activity on time. If you are fearful suck it up and jump right in! It's a decision you would not regret!

Pickup was on time, and we got on the boat on the almost immediately.

The 2 guides were great!

The parasailing experience was great with fantastic views all around. The only downside was that since the wind was towards the direction of the sun, all the photos were just silhouettes and our faces couldn't be seen. This is nothing against the company, who were great :)

In late August, it was sunny. We participated as a couple with two middle school students. It was everyone's first time parasailing. I tend to get motion sickness, so I took some anti-nausea medication, but it was nice that there were only a few of us, just our family and two foreign sisters. (The people who rode after us were a large group, so I felt like I might get seasick while waiting for them to finish... Either way, it's better to take the medication. The boat sways quite a bit!)

I didn't talk much with the captain, but he was a nice person, and the instructor was funny and kind, making the conversation enjoyable! (He understands a little Japanese and seems familiar with Japanese people, so I think it's fine even if you can't speak English.)

Our family and the sisters were all dropped into the sea at the beginning or the end! That was fun too. I was chatting with the instructor before we started, and it naturally led to, "Well, we have to drop you into the water, Japan!" I don't know how it usually goes, but if you really want to be dropped into the sea, it might be good to express that desire.

The view from 150 meters was amazing! When the boat swayed, I couldn't help but scream like it was an amusement park ride. Haha. I wasn't worried about falling at all. I put my smartphone in a waterproof case hanging around my neck and recorded videos, but since there was some swaying, please ensure your own safety while filming. 全員初めてのパラセーリング。私は酔いやすく酔い止めを飲みましたが、うちと外国のお姉さん2人だけの少数だったのも良かった。(私達の後に乗ってた人達は大人数だったから、他の人がやってる間に船酔いしそうで…どっちにしても酔い止め飲んだ方がいいです。船はかなり揺れます！)
船長さんとはそんなに話さなかったけど良い人だったし、インストラクターの人は面白いし優しくてお喋りが楽しかったです！(日本語も少し通じますし日本人にも慣れてらっしゃる感じですので英語話せなくても大丈夫だと思います。)
私達家族もお姉さん達も最初か最後に海に落とされました！それも楽しかったです。私はやる前にインストラクターさんとお喋りしてて、じゃあジャポンと落とさないとね〜という流れに自然となったので普段がどうかわかりませんが、絶対海に入れてほしい人は一言やってほしい気持ちを伝えるといいかもしれませんね。
150mからの景色は最高でした！
揺れたりするとアトラクションのようにキャーキャー言ってしまいます。笑。落ちる心配は全然無かったです。首から下げる防水ケースにスマホ入れて動画なども撮りましたが、揺れもあるのでご自身で安全を確認しながら撮って下さい。(上で操作するのが不安な方は、飛ぶ前から降りるまでずっと動画回しっぱなしでもいいかもしれませんね。ちゃんと撮れるかわかりませんが一つの方法として。)
あと、移動するボートに乗るまで( 前の人達のボートが戻ってこないと私達がいけない入れ替え制でした)と乗ったあと(写真のSDを買う人だけですが並んで順番)に待たされますが、すごく待たされた感じは無かったです。
また同じ船長さんとインストラクターさんでトライしたいです。
