It was quite crowded, and there wasn't enough space between our fishing spots and the neighboring ones. I had reserved to use two rods, but ended up using just one. We were the only Japanese people there.

I used a two-hook rig with a body. The bait was cuttlefish. I caught four fish: two Mumehagi (like a tropical version of the Umatsurahagi), one fish that looked like an old man, and one fish that resembled an Eso. I missed two big bites.

The fishing time felt like just under two hours. I think if you can find the bottom, you can catch fish. The current was fast, and everyone was struggling. The fish that looked like an old man probably could have been eaten, but the crew asked us to release it, so we couldn't eat it.

There were no life jackets. It was the first time I fished without one. It might be that there are no laws requiring them overseas. The tour reservation mentioned that water and juice were included, but there was no provision from the boat (perhaps there was an explanation, but as far as I could see, no one around me received anything), so I think it's best to bring your own drinks.

The scenery is very beautiful. Sunscreen is a must.

ライフジャケットは無し。釣りをするときライフジャケットしなかったのは初めて。海外ではしなくて良い法律なのかもしれません。
水、ジュースが含まれるとツアーの予約には書いてありましたが、船からの提供は無かったので(もしかしたら、説明はあったのかもしれませんが、私が見る限り、周りの人も誰も貰ってませんでした)、水分はしっかりと持参したほうが良いと思います。
景色はとてもきれいです。

It was lots of fun… the company we chose was great… easy pickup and return to your hotel area… people were super friendly and the breakfast part of it was a great option to choose… all good… the hike was awesome… be prepared though … water and light clothing… we went in August and it was very warm out even before sunrise. Excellent views… I would totally recommend this company for this event…!!!!! The views are amazing…!!!

I was worried due to the strong winds and the sudden reservation the day before, but everything went smoothly. We ended up fishing in shallow waters, but it was still quite enjoyable. During the trip, we were greeted by a pod of dolphins. The rental equipment was reasonably maintained, but there might be some inconsistencies. We used squid as bait and dropped weights to the seabed to fish. If there were no bites, the captain would move the boat to find a new spot.

I had three incredibly strong bites, but they got away. I'm not sure what kind of fish they were.

It seems that any fish caught are generally released. They didn't cook them on the spot, but they could tell us the types and names of the fish.

The children who love fishing were having a great time.

The boat sways quite a bit, so motion sickness medication is essential. The sun is also strong, so sunscreen is a must.

It was refreshing to see Waikiki and Diamond Head from a different angle.

I didn't catch a lot, but it was still quite enjoyable! Unfortunately, my child got seasick, so if you're prone to motion sickness, taking medication is a must. If you understand a little bit of English, you'll have a great time. The staff were kind, and when I didn't understand English, they translated for me using their phone. They also prepared the fish right there, and it was delicious! I would love to go again if I have the chance.

My husband and I recently booked the tickets and shuttle to hike Diamond Head as I was reading how you had to have reservations to hike unless you are local. This is a change since the first time I hiked it when you didn’t have to make reservations. We also didn’t rent a car this visit, so the shuttle was perfect as it dropped us off and picked us up at a designated time. We were given tips on the way there as well as instructions how to make the hike more enjoyable. I highly recommend going with this company as you have three times to choose from to be picked up without the dynamics of reserving tickets or driving there or finding parking which is limited. The shuttle takes you as close to the trailhead as possible

We participated at the request of my son, who is in the first year of junior high school.

There were about 20 participants, and we were the only Japanese. First, we headed to Diamond Head and fished at about four different spots. We were able to catch some fish, which made for great memories. We caught a magnificent fish about 40 centimeters long, and the staff grilled it for us, and it was delicious♪

I was worried about the lack of transportation, but it wasn't a problem. It took about 15 minutes by taxi from our hotel (Waikiki) to get there. On the way back, we walked to the nearby Ward Center to do some shopping, played at the arcade in the Ward Entertainment Center, and also stopped by the Whole Foods Market next door. I called Hanataxi (they speak Japanese) to pick us up from Whole Foods and take us back to the hotel.

I'm really glad we decided to participate. Thank you!

It was also fun to see dolphins! We only caught a few fish, but we were able to catch fish that can only be seen in Hawaii, which made the kids happy.

After deciding to go to Hawaii, I was asked to go fishing, so I made a reservation here. Although they didn't speak Japanese, we managed to communicate since it was fishing. I was worried about seasickness, but I didn't experience any at all. During our trip, we didn't catch many fish overall, but my son caught three small ones and released them. We gathered in front of the marina's dock. Despite the boat being named "Sashimi II," it was a bit disappointing that no one spoke Japanese at all. I was the only Japanese participant, but if you have a little experience with fishing, you can understand how to use the equipment and the fishing techniques. I was able to grasp most of the explanations through gestures.

The bait was cut squid, and we used a simple bottom fishing setup with a two-hook rig and weights. We fished while changing points from the marina to off Waikiki and Diamond Head. The scenery was beautiful, providing double the enjoyment.

The target was the Mōngara (a type of filefish), and the crew prepared the fish we caught on board, allowing us to taste it on the way back.

It was my first time deep-sea fishing, and I was worried about seasickness, but the waves were calm, the weather was nice, and I enjoyed the stunning views of Waikiki, Diamond Head, and Coco Head during the cruise, so it was fine. We moved to several spots and patiently waited with squid as bait, but unfortunately, we didn't catch anything. However, we enjoyed delicious sashimi and sautéed fish caught by others. Every time someone caught a fish, there were cheers, and it was a lot of fun!
