What an amazing way to culturally connect with the indigenous peoples of Hawaii by sailing the beautiful waters like how our ancestors did. Amazing stories, singing, food and interactive activities and seeing the dolphins and honu (turtles) swimming alongside our wa’a (waka/ boat) was magical! Yes, it's early. But, we LOVED the early sail. Less boats on the water and calmer ocean conditions. If you're looking for a unique cultural experience, this is it. We did the morning cruise and were the only 2 guests on the boat which was really cool. The boat limits capacity to 6-guests. As a local resident, I really liked how the two main hosts of the cultural experience and the Captain were Kamehameha graduates. This boat also offers midday cruises and sunset. Overall, the morning sail was calm and one of the truly unique sails here on Oahu.

We had a very enjoyable trip near Waikiki to view fish and turtles. Our captain and guide were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They knew where to take us to look at the animals. They provided lots of information about the fish as well as the area near which they were found. They were also very helpful with taking pictures with great backgrounds. The timing was just about right--not too long bringing on boredom in younger patrons, and not too short with no opportunities to actually see the animals in their natural habitat. It was a good experience for our entire group.
We did a sunset cruise with another boat but we strongly preferred this one! Our crew was all girls which I thought was amazing!! Amy was great. The drinks were good and they even offered snacks for the kids that were on the boat. It was a nice morning cruise and I recommend to anyone! And they let you go on the netting on this boat, unlike another one I went on.
The sail itself was very windy and bumpy for most of the trip. You definitely had to hold on to the rail or be sitting. There were even a few times the people in the front caught a wave and got pretty wet. With that being said you are in a boat in the ocean so this was expected. It did however make it difficult to take advantage of the drinks offered ;). Overall the sail was fun :) and the best parts were the views and the staff was awesome.

沖に向かっていくときは波に逆らって進むので上下に揺れ、テンションが上がります。ダイヤモンドヘッド灯台が良く見える位置まで向かったので割と移動距離も長めです。岸に戻る時は、一転ほとんど揺れないので、落ち着いて景色を堪能できます。
下船時に「良かったらそこの入れ物にチップをよろしく」的な話があります。
なお、乗る前に参加グループごとに船とダイヤモンドヘッドをバックに写真を撮ってくれます。下船時に2Lサイズの写真を見開きの簡易アルバムとして$20で購入を勧めてきます。購入は任意ですが、購入を考える方は荷物や履物は写らない場所に置いた方がいいと思います。私どもは購入したのですが、全員サンダルを手に持ってバンザイしているので笑えます。
それから船は乗る時のハシゴがある方が前です。水しぶきを多めに浴びたい方は前がお勧めです。
