There were more people from other countries than Japanese, but I was able to have a fun time chatting with those at the nearby table, even with my limited English. There were some women and children who looked cold, so it might be a good idea to bring something to wear over your clothes for warmth.

日本人よりも他の国の方が多かったですが、つたない英語でも近くの席の方とワイワイ楽しい時間を過ごせました。中には寒そうにしてる女性や子どもがいたので、羽織るものを持って行く方が安心かもしれません。

We participated as a family of four during the summer vacation. The first dinner buffet was held in an open area outside the theater. During dinner, we were able to watch a hula show right next to our table, which made for an enjoyable dining experience.

The dinner menu featured local Hawaiian dishes such as furikake rice, huli huli chicken, taro sweet potato, and whole roasted pig. One drink, a Mai Tai, was included, and adults could choose an alcoholic version while the children were served non-alcoholic drinks. Those looking for a wide variety in the buffet might find it a bit lacking.

After dinner, we moved to the theater for a rock show. Upon entering the theater, there was a photo session for the participating groups, which would be sold at the exit before leaving. The show featured talents resembling Elvis and Michael (?), though the resemblance was subtle. Our elementary school-aged child didn’t know who Elvis or Michael was, but still had a good time.

In the latter part of the show, there was a fire performance similar to a luau, which was quite enjoyable. Considering the content, I think the cost performance is high at about $220 for the family of four.

夏休みに家族四人で参加しました。
最初のディナービュッフェがあり、シアターの外のオープンな場所での夕食でした。夕食中はフラのショーをテーブルの横で見ることができ、食事しながらフラショーを楽しめました。
夕食のメニューはフリカケライス、フリフリチキン、タロイモのスイートポテト、豚の丸焼きなど、ハワイのローカル食が中心です。飲み物はマイタイが1ドリンク付いていて、大人はアルコール入りを選べ、子供にはノンアルコールのものが出ました。
ビュッフェに品数を求められる方には物足りないかもしれません。
食後はシアターに移動してロックのショーです。シアターに入ると最初に参加グループの写真撮影がありましたが、これは帰る前に出口で販売するためのものです。
ショーはプレスリーやマイケルそっくりなタレント（？）によるものでした。そっくりの度合いは微妙です。小学生の子供は小学生なのでプレスリーはおろかマイケルも知りませんでしたが、それなりに楽しんでいましたよ。
ショーの後半にはルアウのような火を使ったショーもあり、十分に楽しめました。
この内容で家族四人でおよそ$220ならコストパフォーマンスは高いと思います。

I participated in the 5 PM reception. I was planning to return before the sunset, but thanks to the captain's arrangement, we were able to extend our time and see a very beautiful sunset. Thank you to the captain and the lovely bartender! Please be careful with your footing when boarding and disembarking, as the waves can be high and the stairs are narrow.

乗船、下船時は波が高いこともあり足場も細い階段なので、足元注意です。

At the time of the reservation, I couldn't predict the weather, and unfortunately, it was cloudy on the day, so we couldn't see the sunset. However, everyone on the boat, including the staff and other guests, had a great time! When drinks ran out, the staff encouraged us to have more, so we could drink plenty. There are also restrooms on board, which is reassuring! The wind feels amazing! I would love to participate again when it's sunny!

予約の時点で天気の予想が出来ず、当日あいにく曇りでサンセットはみれませんでしたが、船の上でスタッフも他のお客さんもみんなで盛り上がりました！飲み物が無くなったらスタッフが進めてくれて沢山飲めます。トイレもついてるので安心です！風が凄く気持ちいいです！晴れてる時にまた参加したいなぁと思います！

I wanted my 2-year-old to experience sailing, so we participated! There were two other families with small children, and about 40% of the participants were Japanese.

I had expected mostly young foreigners based on the reviews, but surprisingly, there were quite a few older participants as well (laughs), and the atmosphere was quite relaxed. However, when the waves splashed, everyone got excited and started squealing, and as the drinks kicked in, we gradually began dancing to the music, enjoying the lively vibe of a different culture!

The captain and crew didn't speak Japanese, but they were friendly and cheerful, which made for a pleasant experience.

While some reviews mention negative experiences, I think those who enjoy drinking and having a good time will really enjoy this. We've participated in various activities during our trip to Hawaii, but my husband, who doesn't speak English, said this cruise was the most fun. The rocking of the boat is quite intense, making it perfect for those who love roller coasters! Conversely, if you're looking to enjoy a more serene sunset, you might want to choose a different cruise.

2歳児にセーリングを体験させたくて参加しました！他にも小さなお子様連れが2組いて、日本人参加者は全体の4割程度でした。

口コミを見て外国人は若者ばかりを覚悟していましたが、案外若くもなく（笑）落ち着いた感じでした。でも波しぶきがかかるとキャーキャー言って盛り上がり、酔いがまわると次第に音楽に合わせて踊り始め異国のノリを楽しめました♪
キャプテンやクルーは日本語を話せませんが、フランクな陽気な方でとても感じが良かったです。

口コミでたまに嫌な思いをされる方がいるようですが、お酒が好きで、ワイワイするのが好きな方でしたら楽しめると思います。このハワイ旅行で色々と参加しましたが、英語が話せない主人でもこのクルーズが一番楽しかったと言っています。揺れが激しいので、ジェットコースター好きな方にもピッタリです！
逆に、しっとりとサンセットを楽しみたい方は別のクルーズにされた方がいいかもしれません。

I was moved when I rode it for the first time last year! I've decided to make it a regular tour starting this year! Enjoying a delicious Mai Tai against the backdrop of the hotels in Waikiki and Diamond Head♡ This is pure bliss. Sometimes getting splashed by the waves, and after the excitement of the activities, slowing down to fully enjoy the sunset. I'll ride it again next year!

これぞ至福の時間。時に波をかぶったり、アクティビティの様なワクワクの後、スピードを落としてサンセットを存分に楽しむ。また来年も乗ります！

Open bar had great selection. Length of trip with fireworks was perfect. Just what I was looking for.

I booked the evening cruise on the fourth day. Be careful, as it looks nothing like the catalog images. As soon as we got out to Diamond Head, the waves of the open sea caused a lot of up-and-down motion... Personally, it was the best activity, but I definitely do not recommend it for those who get motion sickness.

4日目の夕方乗船で予約。カタログ画像と全く違うので要注意。ダイヤモンドヘッド沖まで出たとたん、外洋の波でアップダウンの激しい揺れが・・・。個人的には最高のアクティビティーでしたが、乗り物酔いする方には絶対にお勧めしません。

At the entrance, we were welcomed with a hula dance and enjoyed a welcome drink of Mai Tai (which we could choose to be alcoholic or non-alcoholic) as we entered.
We had dinner first, followed by the show.
The dinner consisted of delicious dishes! Our waiter didn't speak Japanese, but he listened carefully to what we were saying and communicated in clear English, so we were able to enjoy ourselves without feeling confused by any unclear English.
When he asked if we were celebrating a special occasion and I replied that it was our honeymoon, we received a complimentary bottle of champagne!
The show lasted about an hour, with dancers changing frequently and presenting various performances, and it went by in no time.

入り口ではフラダンスのお出迎えがあり、ウェルカムドリンクのマイタイ(アルコールかノンアルコールか選べました)を飲みながら入場しました。
先にディナーがありその後にショーです。
ディナーはどれも美味しいお料理でした！担当のウェイターは日本語は話せませんでしたがこちらの言っていることをよく聞いてくれて、英語でしたが分かりやすく話してくれたので分からない英語でモヤモヤすることもなく楽しむことができました。
今日は記念日なの？と聞かれたのでハネムーンだと答えたらシャンパンのプレゼントがありました！
ショーは1時間ほどですが次々とダンサーが入れ替わって色々なショーがあり、あっという間でした。

This is a show that I've been curious about every time I visit Honolulu. This time, I decided to book through VELTRA. I was torn between the VIP option and the buffet, but I chose VIP because I thought about the possibility of rain during the outdoor buffet. It turned out to be the right decision.

The pre-dinner cocktails, appetizers, and the main four-course dinner were perfect. Many others have posted about the food, so I won't go into detail, but the lobster, steak, salmon, and dessert were all delicious.

Now, regarding the show… to be honest, I didn't have high expectations, so I was surprised! The show's structure, the dancing, and the impersonators' singing abilities were all impressive. There was a slightly more polished Elvis and a Michael with a bit of a belly, but both their singing and dancing were wonderful!

I was looking forward to seeing the Madonna impersonator, but it seems she was on break this time, so I hope to see her next time. The VIP seats were right in front of the stage, which made for an exciting experience.

Lastly, I was able to take photos with the impersonators, making for a very enjoyable night in Hawaii.

A word of advice for those planning to go… the appetizers are so delicious that you might end up eating too much, which could prevent you from enjoying dinner, so be mindful!

毎回ホノルルに行くたびに気になっていたショーです。今回思い切ってVELTRAさんから予約しました。VIPにしようかビュッフェにしようか悩みましたがビュッフェ席は外での食事で万が一お食事中に雨が降って来たら…と考えてVIPにしましたが大正解でした。
食事前のカクテル、おつまみ、そしてメインの4コースディナーと完璧でした。他の方がたくさんお食事のこと投稿していますので書きませんがロブスター、ステーキ、サーモン、デザートとっても美味しく頂けました。
さて肝心のショーですが…はっきり言ってそんなに期待はしていませんでしたのでびっくりしました‼️
ショーの構成といい、ダンスといい、ソックリさんの歌唱力全てに驚きました。
ちょっとスマートなエルビスとお腹がちょっと出たマイケルでしたが歌もダンスも素晴らしかったです❣️
マドンナのソックリさんが出演するのを楽しみにしていましたが今回はお休みだったようですので次回に期待して又行きたいと思います。
VIP席はステージの真ん前の席でしたので迫力があってよかったです。
最後にそっくりさんたちと写真も撮れとっても楽しいハワイの夜になりました

行かれる予定の方に一言…
おつまみは美味しくて食べ過ぎてしまいますがディナーが食べられなくなってしまう方が結構いましたのでホドホドに

I used the Terrace Luau Buffet & Show. The Mai Tai before the meal and the buffet were all delicious. The bread, in particular, was very tasty. I was completely full. It was a shame that the drinks were a bit pricey, but I was glad to have coffee. The show was also very impressive, and the time flew by. The impersonators were entertaining, and the fire show was spectacular. Being able to see the Tahitian dance made me feel like I was in Hawaii, and I was very satisfied. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

テラスルアウビュッフェ&ショーを利用しました。食前のマイタイ、ビュッフェ、全部美味しかったです。特にパンがとっても美味しかった。お腹いっぱいになりました。ドリンクがお高めだったのが残念ですが、コーヒーは頂けたので良かったです。ショーもとても見応えがあり、あっというまの時間でした。そっくりさん達は面白かったし、ファイアーショーは圧巻でした。タヒチアンダンスまで見れてハワイにきてる感があり、満足できました。また機会があれば利用したいです。

The food was delicious, and I felt the attention to each guest. Additionally, the smiles of the performers were wonderful and left a lasting impression. The quality of each star was also high and impressive. In particular, the singing voice of the fair-skinned Asian male performer was outstanding. The fire dance was also worth seeing. From Presley, flower leis were presented to several guests. After the show, the stars sent us off at the exit, which was very thoughtful.

お食事もおいしく、ゲスト一人一人に対する気配りを感じました。
また、フラショーの方々の笑顔がすばらしく、心に残ります。
それぞれのスター？のクオリティーも高く、すばらしい。
とくに、色白のアジア系の方？男性の歌声がすばらしかった。
ファイヤーダンスもみがいありです。プレスリーからは、お花のレイが、何名かの方々にプレゼントされていましたね。
終了後、スターが、出口でお見送りしてくださり、至れり尽くせりですよ。

The venue was conveniently located close to the hotel. There is also a famous Japanese restaurant, Suntory, just one floor below.

On the day we participated, there was unusually heavy rain in Hawaii. We had a buffet under a tent. As we moved to get our food to avoid getting wet, a Hawaiian dancer held an umbrella for us.

First, delicious juice or cocktails were served, followed by a whole roasted pig with an apple in its mouth, which was then cut into manageable pieces. There were also fish and meat dishes, and we enjoyed delicious desserts. During the meal, there was a hula dance show, and we had the opportunity to participate as well.

Afterward, we moved to the show venue and watched from the second floor. The view was at the same height as the stage, so it felt close even from the second floor. The quality of each star was high, and we had a great time. The fire dance, in particular, was amazing.

At the exit, we were able to take two-shot photos with various stars.

開催場所もホテルからほど近く便利でした。現地でも有名な、サントリー（和食レストラン）も、すぐ下の階にあります。
私たちが、参加した日は、ハワイでは、めずらしく激しい雨。テント下でのバイキング。
私たちが、濡れないように食事をとりに移動するところを、ハワイアンダンサーのかたが傘をさしてくださいました。
まず、おいしいジュースまたは、カクテルが運ばれ、その後、りんごを咥えた豚の丸焼きが、引き上げられ、その後食べやすくカットされてました。
魚料理、お肉料理もあり、デザートまでおいしくいただきました。食事の間に、フラダンスのショー。体験参加もありました。
その後、ショーの会場に移動して、2階席から観覧。目線が、ステージと同じ高さなので2階席でも近く感じました。それぞれのスターのクオリティーも高く。楽しめました。
特にファイヤーダンスは、すばらしかった。
出口では、いろいろなスター？と2ショッット写真も撮らせていただきました。

I love Hawaiian music and was looking forward to it, but when I went after 6 PM, there was no live performance. The atmosphere of the restaurant and the dishes served were great. I would like to use this place again next time.

ハワイアン音楽が好きで期待しておりましたが、夕方6時過ぎに行きましたが、ライブ演奏はありませんでした。お店の雰囲気・出されたお料理は良かったです。次回も利用したいと思います。

The VIP experience was amazing. As soon as I entered, I was greeted with a chilled, delicious Mai Tai and snacks, which really boosted my excitement! The seating was in the front row, allowing me to enjoy both the meal and the show comfortably from the same spot. The food was generous in portion, with tender meat that was very tasty. The show started with Hawaiian music and was vibrant with various songs and costumes that were a delight to watch! Presley and Michael were both great at singing and dancing, and everyone was laughing out loud. After the show, they happily posed for photos, and I was able to get some great keepsake pictures. The VIP experience was very satisfying. I'm glad I participated.

vipはすごく良かったです。入場してすぐに冷えた美味しいマイタイとおつまみをいただいて、テンションが上がりました！座席は最前列で、食事もショーも同じ席でゆっくりすることができました。お食事もボリュームがあり、お肉が柔らかくてとてもおいしかったです。ショーは ハワイアンからはじまり、様々な曲や衣装で華やかに楽しませてもらいました！プレスリーとマイケルは歌もダンスも上手で面白くてみんな大爆笑でした。ショーが終わって写真撮影にもにこやかに応じていただけて、良い記念写真がとれました。vipは大満足でした。参加して良かったです。

It was a small Mai Tai catamaran, but it sped along gracefully, with the cheers of passengers splashing in the waves. Tourists from Japan were able to exchange photos with foreign tour guests and share a fun time together. The sight of Diamond Head glowing in the sunset was also impressive, and I definitely want to board again next time.

小型のマイタイ・カタマラン号でしたが軽快に疾走し、波しぶきを浴びた乗客達の歓声が船中に。
日本からの観光客も、外国人ツアー客とも写真交換させてもらい楽しい時間を共有できました。
夕日に浮かぶダイアモンドヘッドも印象的で、次回も是非、乗船したいと思う。

I participated in the hula show this time, and I would like to share my experience. I hope it will be helpful for those considering attending. My wife does hula dancing and has always wanted to go to a dinner show, so when I searched online, I came across the VERTLA page. I was torn between the one at Hilton Hawaiian Village and the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, but I decided on the Royal Hawaiian since it was within walking distance from our hotel. I booked the VIP seats for this dinner show before leaving Japan. I brought a copy of the reservation email from VERTLA.

On the day of the show, we arrived right at the 6:15 PM meeting time and immediately took a photo with Michael Jackson (they come around during dinner to ask if you want to purchase it). We waited in the lobby for about five minutes with a Mai Tai cocktail (there's a non-alcoholic option as well) and snacks (if we had arrived earlier, we could have enjoyed more fruit). After that, we were guided to a table for two. There was a schedule, and according to it, the show was set to start at 8 PM and last about 1 hour and 15 minutes. We enjoyed delicious food (see the menu photos) and drinks while chatting with a newlywed couple sitting next to us, and the time flew by until showtime.

The show featured performances by Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and their collaboration with hula, as well as solo hula and fire dancing. Everything was truly wonderful, and I particularly felt it was worth it for Michael Jackson's dance and the female vocalist's singing ability. The fire dance was also impressive. My wife seemed to want to see more hula. We were very satisfied with our VIP seat reservation, but the people in the second-floor seats who came just to watch the show without dinner were also very enthusiastic. I have attached a few photos for your reference. We are talking about wanting to go to the show at Hilton Hawaiian Village next time.

今回フラショウに参加しましたのでその体験談を書かせていただきます。
参加を検討されている方々の参考になれば幸いです。
私の妻がフラダンスをやっていて一度はディナーショーに行ってみたいと言っていましたのでネット検索した所、VERTLAのページに出会い色々載っている中からヒルトンハワイアンビレッジのものと今回のロイヤルハワイアンショッピングセンターとで迷ったのですが宿泊ホテルから歩いて行けるロイヤルハワイアンに決めてこのディナーショウのVIP席を日本出発前に申し込みました。VERTLAからのメールの予約票をコピーして持参。当日の流れを言いますと、18時15分集合時間ちょうどに到着、すぐにマイケルジャクソンと写真撮影（食事中に購入するかどうか聞きに来ます）。
マイタイカクテル（ノンアルもあり）とおつまみでロビーにて5分程待機（もっと早く行けばフルーツ沢山食べられた）。その後案内されて二人用のテーブルへ。スケジュール表がありそれによるとショウは20時から1時間15分程。お隣に居合わせた新婚さんと楽しくおしゃべりしながら美味しい食事（メニューの写真参照）とお酒でそれほど長く感じる事無くショウタイムに。ショウは大まかに言うとエルビスプレスリー、マイケルジャクソン、彼らとフラの共演。フラ単独。ファイヤーダンス。といった感じで実際どれもすばらしく特にマイケルジャクソンのダンスと女性ボーカルの歌唱力には来たかいがあったなと思いました。ファイヤーダンスも迫力がありました。妻はもっとフラが見たかったようですが。今回はVIP席の予約でとても満足でしたが2階席の食事無しのショウだけを見に来た方々もとても盛り上がっていました。何枚か写真を添付しましたので参考にしていただければと思います。次回はヒルトンハワイアンビレッジのショウにも行ってみたいねと二人で話しています。

You can enjoy beautiful views of Diamond Head and feel the breeze of Hawaii, which is very enjoyable. This time it was cloudy, so I couldn't see the sunset, but I would love to visit again.

This is my fifth time in Waikiki, and last year, I learned about Rock-a-Hula through a friend's recommendation. My family of four enjoyed the show from the stage-side VIP seats, and I couldn't forget the excitement from that time, so this year, my wife and I came back again.

The VIP dinner, cocktails, and show began with a welcome hula at the VIP entrance, followed by a welcome reception. For dinner, we had lobster with rainbow salad, natural Alaska salmon, and tenderloin beef at the front row seats. For dessert, we enjoyed pineapple delight, and we ordered beer and wine. To finish off, I had Kona blend coffee while my wife had tea, making for a plentiful dinner.

The performances featuring Elvis, Michael Jackson, and the fire show were incredibly impressive, rivaling those in Las Vegas, all taking place at the Royal Hawaiian Center. The show was even more powerful than a year ago, blending rock and Hawaiian music in a thrilling and emotional performance that left us in awe.

After the show, we had the opportunity to take photos with the performers, and we spent a thoroughly satisfying time from entrance to exit. My wife was completely captivated and is eager to return next year. I highly recommend the VIP seats for the dinner, cocktails, and show at Rock-a-Hula, where you can truly feel one with the stage.

今回で5度目のワイキキですが、昨年、知人の薦めで、このロック・ア・フラを知り、ステージサイドVIP席
にて、家族4人、ショーを堪能し、あの時の興奮が忘れられず今年も妻と二人で来てしまいました。
VIPディナー&カクテル&ショーは、VIP専用入り口でのウェルカムフラに始まりウェルカムレセプションへ、
ディナーはステージ最前列席にてレインボーサラダ添えロブスターに天然アラスカサーモン・テンダーロンイン
ビーフ、デザートにはパイナップルデライト、ビールにワインもオーダーし、締めは、私はコナブレンドコーヒー、妻は紅茶と盛り沢山のディナーでした。
プレスリーにマイケルジャクソン、ファイヤーショーと本場ラスベガスでなくて、このロイヤルハワイアンセンターで世界レベルの衝撃的エンターテイメントに感動しまくりでした。
1年前のショーよりもさらにパワーアップしたロックンロールとハワイアンを融合させた迫力と感動のパフォーマンスで全身を痺れさせてくれました。
ショー後のお見送り時には、出演者との写真撮影もあり、入り口から出口まで大満足のひと時を過ごせました。
妻などは、すっかり魅了され、又、来年もと意気込んでいます。
ロック・ア・フラは、舞台と一体になれるディナー&カクテル&ショーVIP席がお薦めです。

I apologize for the late post, but I used the service in April. Since our arrival date was on a Friday, I signed up for my friend’s first trip to Hawaii to see the Hilton fireworks! My friend, who was worried about motion sickness, was very happy to enjoy the fireworks while feeling the pleasant breeze (a jacket is a must!). I usually watch from the beach, but seeing the fireworks from the water was exceptional. I would like to sign up again next time!

投稿が遅くなりましたが、4月に利用しました。到着日が金曜日だったので、ヒルトンの花火が観られる！とハワイ初の友達のために申し込みました。乗り物酔いが心配だった友達も、心地よい風を受けながらの花火鑑賞にとても喜んでくれました（上着は必須です！）。私もいつもはビーチからの鑑賞でしたが、海の上から見る花火は格別なものでした。次回も申し込みたいと思います！

The flair show you usually see is on a completely different level of intensity. It was disappointing to have a lot of waiting time after entering. I wish there had been a bit more time to enjoy the meal.

普段見るフラショーとは迫力が格段に違います。
入場してから、待ち時間が多かったのが残念です。もう少し食事を楽しむ時間があればいいなと思いました。

I really wanted to see an Elvis show while staying in Hawaii. I googled Elvis shows and this one had excellent ratings. We booked the Luau Buffet and show. When we got there we were taken to our seats. Everyone was really nice. They start everyone with a Mai Tai that was really good. We then started the buffet line. The food was great quality & really good. My husband & I enjoyed it very much. During dinner there was a little hula show. It was very fun to watch our server dancing! She was great! After dinner we were escorted to the theater. I was very surprised by the venue. It didn’t seem like it was very big from the outside but once we got in I was pleasantly surprised!! The show was absolutely amazing!! Each performer was outstanding. Every detail about the show was right on point; the band, the dancers, the choreography, the costumes, the singers and the impersonators!! I really enjoyed it! We loved that they also have a meet & greet after the show. I would recommend this show 100%!!

This was my first time, and my partner had participated about ten years ago. We arrived early but were allowed into the venue. First, we headed to the buffet area. It felt like the Japanese attendees were gathered at the back of the line.

The welcome drink, Mai Tai, could be chosen as alcoholic or non-alcoholic. It was pleasantly sweet and delicious. Next, the whole roasted pig was brought out, which really raised the excitement.

We lined up to get our food, but we had to wait quite a bit. It felt very American in that regard. In Japan, staff would guide you based on how quickly the line was moving, and you wouldn't have to wait in line holding heavy plates. But here in sunny Hawaii, you shouldn't sweat the small stuff.

The food included vegetable salad, macaroni salad, glass noodle salad, marinated tomatoes and salmon, teriyaki chicken, white fish curry, and the whole roasted pig, among a few other dishes. Everything was decent, but I particularly enjoyed the white fish curry.

As we continued eating, desserts were served: rainbow sherbet, chocolate cake, and cookies. There was also coffee and tea. I only had the chocolate cake, but I thought it was not too sweet for Hawaii and quite tasty. The coffee was Kona coffee, which I enjoyed with the cake.

During the meal, there was live ukulele music and singing. The staff, dressed in hula costumes, created a great atmosphere! There are plans with and without meals, but the difference is about $30. If you're purely considering the food, you might think the no-meal option is fine, but if you factor in the atmosphere and the excitement of the show, I think the meal option is better.

However, the dining area is under a tent. If it rains, it could really dampen the mood. Rain might come in from the sides, and it could be hard to hear the live performance. I've heard that Hawaii has been experiencing more rain lately due to weather changes, so it’s a matter of luck.

After the meal, we moved to the show venue.

At the entrance, there was the usual photo opportunity. You can purchase the photos on your way out, but we were in a hurry to find a restroom due to the alcohol, so we didn’t buy any. I’m not sure how much they cost.

We took a photo with an Elvis impersonator and then headed to our seats. The first floor was occupied by those who had the most expensive meal plan. We were seated on the second floor. The middle seats would have been ideal, but they seat you in the order you enter, so it’s a matter of luck. We ended up in the middle of the third row. There was a good step up, so we didn’t have to worry about the heads in front of us.

Finally, the show began. There were screens on both sides and at the back, and the performance started with hula dances and costumes from different eras, accompanied by old footage of Hawaii. It felt like there was a history to both Hawaii and hula! The music, costumes, and dances changed with the eras, revealing a history I was completely unaware of, which was a bit moving.

The show transitioned from the Elvis era to a mix of Elvis and hula, then to Michael Jackson. A female singer also appeared, and rather than an impersonator, she seemed to be a Hawaiian music singer. I was overwhelmed by her singing ability.

Since I’m not from the Elvis generation, I can’t say how similar she was. The same goes for Michael Jackson; I knew the songs, but I’m not sure about the impersonation. For those who know dance, the quality would be evident, but as an amateur, I enjoyed it. Both performances were well integrated with video footage of the original artists, creating a fantastic atmosphere.

I had given up on seeing fire dancing indoors, but there it was! Seeing fire live is truly impressive. The hula costumes changed frequently, and the singing was satisfying, making the time fly by.

Initially, I had heard it was an impersonation show, so I honestly didn’t have high expectations, but I got to learn about the history of hula, experienced a fusion with Elv

私は初めてで相方は10年ほど前に参加経験ありです。
集合時間より早くに着きましたが会場に入れました。まずはビュッフェ会場です。日本人は各々の後尾に集められた感あります。
ウェルカムドリンクのマイタイはアルコールとノンアルが選べます。程よい甘さで美味しかった。
次に豚の丸焼き登場でテンション上がります。
順番に並んでお料理を頂くのですが、結構並んで待ちました。そこはアメリカンな対応だなって。日本だったら進み具合を見ながらスタッフが誘導し、重い皿を持ったまま並ぶことにはならないでしょうね。でもここは常夏ハワイ。細かいことは気にしたらダメです。
お料理は野菜サラダ、マカロニサラダ、春雨サラダ、トマトとサーモンのマリネ、照り焼きチキン、白身のカレー風、豚の丸焼きとあと数品あったと思います。どれもまあまあですが、私は白身のカレームニエルが美味しかったです。
食事が進むとスウィーツが登場します。レインボーシャーベット、チョコケーキ、クッキーです。あとコーヒーと紅茶もありました。私はチョコケーキだけ食べましたが、ハワイの割にそんなに甘くなく美味しいと思いました。コーヒーもコナコーヒーでケーキと一緒に頂きました。

食事ありとナシのプランがありますがその差30ドルくらい。純粋に食事だけ考えるとナシでもいいかなって思えますが、雰囲気とショーへのテンションも考えるなら食事ありの方がいいと思いました。
ただ食事会場はテント下です。もしスコールがあったらテンションだだ落ちでしょう。横から雨が降り込んだり、生演奏が聞こえにくかったりしそう。最近のハワイは気象の変化で雨が多いらしいので、これは運でしょうね。
食後はショー会場へ移動します。

入り口でありがちな写真撮影です。帰りに購入することになるのでしょうけど、私たちはアルコールのおかげでトイレに急いでたので購入せずです。いくらかもわかりません。
プレスリーのそっくりさん(？)と写真を撮って客席に行きます。1階では一番お値段の上のコースの方たちが食事中でした。私たちは2階席です。真ん中の席が良いでしょうが、入った順番に座らせられるのでこれも運です。私たちはちょうど3列目の真ん中でした。しっかり段差があるので前の方の頭は気になりません。
いよいよショーです。
両サイドと正面奥にスクリーンがあり、昔のハワイの映像とともにその年代であろう衣装とフラのダンスが始まりました。
ハワイの歴史とフラにも歴史あり！って感じで年代によって音楽や衣装、ダンスにも変化がありました。全然知らなかった歴史が垣間見えて少し感動しました。
プレスリーの年代からプレスリーとフラのショーでマイケルジャクソンと移っていきます。女性シンガーも登場しますが、その方はモノマネというよりハワイアンミュージックのシンガーなのでしょう。歌唱力に圧倒されました。
プレスリー世代ではないので似てるかはわかりません。マイケルジャクソンも微妙ですが歌は知ってました。ダンスは見る人が見たらクオリティが分かるでしょうが、素人の私は楽しめる程度でした。どちらもスクリーンに本人の映像とコラボしてて雰囲気はバッチリでした。
室内なので諦めてたファイアダンスもありました。やっぱりファイアは生で見ると圧倒されます。
フラの衣装も次々変わっていき、歌も十分聴きごごたえありであっという間に終わってしまいました。

私ははじめモノマネショーと相方に聞いていたので正直期待してなかったのですが、フラの歴史に触れられて、プレスリーやマイケルとも融合し女性シンガーの歌にも圧倒され価値あるエンターテイメントだったと思います。
相方は10年前の記憶があるので昔はもっとマドンナとかもいてて、今回はクオリティが下がったと言ってました。
モノマネショーをメインで思うなら物足りないかもしれませんが、私はポリネシアンショーが好きなので大満足です。ぜひもう一度参加したいですし、お値段以上の価値はあったと思いました。おススメです！

I showed my voucher at the booth as instructed, but was told it was the wrong place and that I needed to go to the Sheraton. When I went to the Sheraton, there was no reception area. When I returned, I saw the same person from earlier with the boat in the photo, so I asked again and was told to wait there. However, while I was left waiting, more and more people boarded the boat, and as they were about to close it, I asked again and was told to hurry up. During the tour, everything was lively in English, but the only time I heard Japanese was when they asked for tips at the end. It was the worst experience.

指示どうりのブースでバウチャー見せたのに、ここではない シェラトンの方だと、シェラトンの方に行きましたが受付らしきものはなく、また、戻って見ると先程の人と写真の船があったので、もう一度聞くと、その場で待つように言われたが、どんどん他の人間が乗船する中ほったらかし、締め切ろうとするので、もう一度聞くと早く乗れと ツアー中もすべて英語で盛り上がって、唯一下船時に『チップ下さい』の日本語 最悪〜

We participated as a couple, and it was really fun. This might be the best tour we've been on so far. The captain was lively and made it enjoyable, and there were young people from abroad, so we were able to take photos together, creating great memories.

I wanted to see some kind of show when I went to Hawaii, so I attended the Rock-a-Hula show, which also included a buffet. The location was easy to find on the fourth floor of the Royal Hawaiian Center, and it was convenient for using the trolley afterward, which was reassuring. We ate at the buffet under the tent on the terrace before moving to the show venue. The meal started with a Mai Tai drink, and they asked whether we wanted it alcoholic or non-alcoholic. The staff guided each table in turn to the buffet. While we were eating, we could enjoy dancing and singing, which heightened the feeling of being in Hawaii. The show had free seating in the second-floor section. Video and flash photography were not allowed, but taking photos was okay. An Elvis impersonator came around, which was a bit challenging for everyone, but it was fun. The dancers changed costumes quickly and performed energetically. If you mainly want to see hula dancing, you might find it a bit different. However, as a show, the dancing was excellent, and I enjoyed it without getting bored until the end, which left me satisfied. After the show, they also took photos and signed autographs in the lobby, providing excellent service.

ハワイに行ったら何らかのショーをみたいと思っていたのでビュッフェもついているロック・ア・フラショーに行ってきました。場所もロイヤルハワイアンセンターの４階でわかりやすく、終わった後もトローリーなどの利用に便利な場所なので安心でした。テラスのテントでビュッフェで食べてからショーの会場へ移動します。食事は最初にマイタイのドリンクがでますが、アルコールかノンアルコールか聞いてくれます。係りの方がテーブルごとに順番にビュッフェ台に行くよう案内してくれます。食べいる間も踊りや歌がみられハワイに来た気分が高まりました。ショーは２階席で自由席。動画とフラッシュ使用はNGですが写真撮影はＯＫでした。エルビスのそっくりさんも全員には難しいですが、まわって来てくれました。ダンスは早着替えで踊りまくり。フラダンスをメインで観たい方はちょっと違うと思われるかもしれません。がショーとしてはダンスも上手で飽きる事無く最後まで楽しめて満足しました。ショーの後もロビーで写真やサインもしてくれてサービス満点です。
