Even with standard seating our seats were close to the stage and our view was very good. Venue doesn’t offer the tropical and natural setting and backdrop (high rise in background of all our photos), but it was close to our hotel and didn’t consume several hours of our day/night going/returning on a bus.
Entertainment was very good and the food was good. All luaus are expensive, so no real bargains.
Overall, we are glad we went and had the experience.

It was my first experience, and I was able to feel Hawaii. There were various events, and it became a lifelong memory. It was fun!

It was a wonderful show where I could enjoy various genres of music and dance. The quality of the singing and dancing was also high.

いろいろなジャンルの音楽やダンスを楽しめて素晴らしいショーでした。歌やダンスのクオリティも高かったです。

I felt strong swells at the beach, but it was completely calm offshore. I only remembered going out to see the sunset and coming back before, but this time we cruised all the way around Diamond Head while enjoying the sunset, fully savoring the refreshing experience on the catamaran. It was only in English, but there were no particular issues. The free soft drink was a very light pineapple flavor? (laughs) That wasn't the main purpose, so it was just a little charm. I went on the last day, and it was casual and a fitting way to cap off the final day; it was a great trip. I absolutely recommend it.

浜辺ではうねりが強い感じがしましたが沖は全く静か。以前は沖に出て夕陽を見て帰って来ただけの記憶でしたが、ダイヤモンドヘッドの裏側まで夕陽を見ながらずーっとクルーズ、めいっぱいカタマランでの爽快感を堪能できました。英語のみですが特に問題はなかったです。フリーのソフトドリンクはうすーいパイナップル味？笑。それが目的ではないのでそこもご愛嬌。最後の日に行きましたが気軽ですし最終日を飾るにふさわしい、良い旅でした。
絶対おすすめです。

I participated with my wife and two daughters, a total of four people. Most of the participants were from overseas, and we were probably the only Japanese family there. I was the only one in my family drinking alcohol, so I had the famous Mai Tai while the other three enjoyed soft drinks. The waves were relatively calm, so it didn't sway as much as I had worried it would. I enjoyed my drink while being blown by the wind, and the pleasantness made me keep drinking, leading to about five or six more Mai Tais and sparkling wines. Unfortunately, the cloud conditions were a bit poor, so I couldn't see the "perfect sunset," but I was able to see a big rainbow, making it a very satisfying boat trip.

妻と2人の娘、計4人で参加しました。
参加者のほとんどが海外の方で、日本人はおそらく私たち家族だけでした。
家族の中でお酒を飲むのは私だけだったので、私は名物マイタイを、あとの3人はソフトドリンクを頂きました。
波が比較的穏やかだったので心配していたほど揺れることもなく、風に吹かれながら美味しく飲み、あまりの気持ち良さに酒も進んでマイタイのおかわりやスパークリングワインなど5、6杯も頂いてしまいました。
残念ながら雲の条件がやや悪く“100点満点の夕陽”は拝めませんでしたが、大きな虹を見ることができ、大満足の船旅になりました。

I have loved magic since I was young, and among all magicians, I particularly adored Atsuto Ogawa's performances. So when I found out I could see his magic during my trip to Hawaii, I made a reservation immediately. Before the show, Mr. Ogawa spotted us and came over to chat! During the performance, he mixed in some Japanese, and we had a really enjoyable time. I was truly moved to see Atsuto Ogawa's magic live, something I had admired for so long!

昔からマジック好きな自分は、中でも緒川集人さんのマジックが大好きだったため、ハワイ旅行にあたって緒川さんのマジックが見れるということで即予約。
開場前に緒川さんが自分たちを見つけて、話しかけてくれました！
公演中も日本語を交えながらやってくださり、とても楽しい時間を過ごせました。
とにかく昔から見ていた緒川集人のマジックを生で見れたことに感動でした！

The food and the show were amazing. Above all, the intensity of the fire dance and the power of Michael Jackson's performance left a lasting impression on me.

なんといっても、ファイヤーダンスの迫力、マイケルジャクソンの迫力、全てが記憶に残りました。

◆ Overall, there was a lot of waiting. I brought my elderly parents, and the waiting times really tired them out.
◆ If you're just listening to the performance and singing, I think it's sufficient to stay in the guest room.
◆ For the luau show, there were people staying at the Hilton who watched from the beach outside the venue over a low fence. Honestly, it was easier to see up close than sitting in the golden seats.
◆ As mentioned in other experiences, there are times when it rains, which can be stressful. I found myself wishing, "Please don't let it rain!" Also, the wind was quite strong.
◆ Because of the strong wind, the food got quite cold while I was getting it. Still, the meat dishes were delicious. The menu was limited, and the breakfast buffet at Japanese hotels has more variety. I don't remember everything, but there were about two small cakes for dessert and one type of something like fruit punch.
◆ The golden seats made it quite difficult to see the show. If you're aiming for the show, I think the higher-class Diamond Premier is better.

Choosing this show for my trip to Hawaii was a mistake. I should have skipped this show and opted for a restaurant or TOGO, spending more time on sightseeing in Waikiki or ocean leisure activities. I cannot recommend it to those who find waiting times unbearable or a waste.

The day before, I went on the "Dinner Cruise Star of Honolulu 3 Star," and that was very good.

◆とにかくひたすら待つことが多かったです。高齢の親を連れて行ったのですが、待ち時間でとても疲れさせてしまいました。
◆演奏や歌を聴くだけなら、客室にいても十分だと思います。
◆ルアウショーは、ヒルトン宿泊の人なら会場外のビーチから低い柵越しに鑑賞してる人もいました。正直ゴールデンシートに座ってるより近くで良く見えました。
◆他の体験談でもありましたが、雨が降る時があるので落ち着かないです。「お願いだから降らないで〜」と願うストレス、、、あと風が結構強い。
◆風が強いので、料理をとってる間に料理がかなり冷めてしまいます。それでも肉系の料理は美味しかったです。メニューは少なく、日本のホテルの朝食ブッフェの方が種類があります。全部は覚えてないけど、デザートは小さいケーキ？2種とフルーツポンチ？みたいなもの1種くらいでした。
◆ゴールデンシートはショーがかなり見えづらかったです。ショー目当てなら上位クラスのダイヤモンドプレミアがいいと思います。

今回のハワイ旅行で、このショーを選んだことは失敗でした。このショーに行かず、レストランかTOGOにして、もっとワイキキ観光や海レジャーに時間を使った方が良かったです。待ち時間が耐えられない・もったいないと思う人にはとてもお勧めできません。

前日に「ディナークルーズ スターオブホノルル 3スター」も行きましたがこれはとても良かった。

Not only was there hula dancing, but there were also concerts featuring musicians from past generations, which was very enjoyable. Additionally, the fire dance was incredibly impressive! It's definitely worth going!

フラダンスだけでなく歴代のミュージシャンのコンサートも付いていてとても楽しめました。更にはファイヤーダンスも迫力満点！行く価値あります！

I went expecting a Japanese magician, but it was a different magician. Still, it was fun. However, I think you can't really enjoy it if you don't understand any English.

日本人のマジシャンを期待して行ったけど違うマジシャンでした。それでも楽しかったです。ただ全く英語が分からないと楽しめないなとは思います。

It starts with a buffet. You can enjoy hula shows, ukulele performances, and hula lessons while you eat. The food was very delicious. A Mai Tai is included as well. After that, we moved to the theater. Although the seats were ordinary, we were seated about three rows from the front, in the middle, so we had a great view. I wasn't expecting much, but we got to see a wonderful show. I thought the Michael Jackson and Elvis impersonators would just be look-alikes, but their singing and dancing were so amazing that I could mistake them for the real deal. I'm really glad I participated in this show. On the way back, I was able to take photos with the cast, and I was very satisfied.

最初にビュッフェから始まります。フラのショーやウクレレの弾き語り、フラレッスンなど、食べている間も楽しめます。お料理はとてもおいしかったです。マイタイ一杯もついています。その後シアターに移動します。普通の席でしたが、前から3番目の真ん中あたりに座れて、とてもよく見えました。そんなに期待していなかったのですが、素晴らしいショーが見られました。マイケルジャクソン、プレスリーは「そっくりさんでしょ」と始まる前は思っていましたが、歌やダンスも本物かと間違うほどに素晴らしく、本当にこちらのショーに参加して良かったです。帰りにはキャストの方々と写真も撮れて、大満足でした。

It was the best luau show I've ever seen.

The regular luau show part was good, but the Elvis and Michael sections were truly moving.

今まで見たルアウショーの中で1番でした。

I participated five years ago and had such a great time that this time I joined with my parents and my brother's family, a total of ten people. The view of the Waikiki hotel district from the ocean side was refreshing, and we could see Diamond Head up close. The sunset was incredibly beautiful. The kids and my father had so much fun and were very happy, saying they want to participate again.

This time the waves were high, and I got a little seasick, but that's also a good memory.

5年前に参加し、とても良かったので今回は親と弟家族総勢10名で参加しました。海側から見るワイキキのホテル街も新鮮だし、ダイヤモンドヘッドも近くで見られるし、夕日が沈むのがとても綺麗でした。子供達も父も凄く楽しかった・また参加したいと大喜びでした。
今回は波が高くてちょっと酔ってしまいましたが、それも良い思い出です。

I had a great time enjoying myself and my friend did too. The music was spot on. The candor of the crew was lovely. I highly recommend this cruise!! I would definitely do it again

As mentioned in the description, there was an exciting thrill like an attraction. It was very fun with splashes of water. The sunset was beautiful, and I was able to fully enjoy the Hawaiian sea. The explanations during the cruise were only in English, and Japanese was hardly understood. Since there were people from small children to the elderly, I think a wide range of people can enjoy it. Although it says unlimited alcohol, they only provide one type of cocktail, and it seemed difficult to get anything else. Since they serve while navigating, it might be understandable, but it’s quite strong, so be careful not to drink too much.

小さい子から年配の方までいらしたので、幅広い方が楽しめると思います
アルコール飲み放題とありますが、提供するのは一種類のカクテルで、その他はなかなかもらえなそうな雰囲気でした
操縦しながらの提供なので仕方ないかもしれないけど、結構キツめなので飲み過ぎ注意です

Great experience overall, you will have to walk in ankle deep water so wear appropriate shoes. They offer free drinks and I’m not sure anyone was checking how many we had to I guess it’s unofficially unlimited. Wish it was a little longer of a ride the hour goes quickly

The drinks are all-you-can-drink, but there are no restrooms, so I couldn't drink much. After the fireworks at night, the night view of the sea is beautiful, but it got a bit chilly, so it's better to have a jacket. ^_^

飲み物は飲み放題ですが、トイレがないので、あまり飲めなかったです。
夜の花火の後は、夜の海で夜景は綺麗だけど、少し肌寒くなってきたので、上着があった方が良いです^_^

What a great experience! The crew were professional, fun and knowledgeable.

It had been a while since I celebrated my 60th birthday in Hawaii, and I participated in a sunset sailing tour.
There were only my wife and me as the two Japanese participants, which made me a bit anxious, but despite getting soaked from the splashes, we were able to enjoy the sunset while drinking delicious beer and Mai Tais.

During the time I stayed, the sunset was positioned more to the right, making it difficult to see from Waikiki due to buildings obstructing the view. However, on this cruise, I was able to see the sunset beautifully! It was a wonderful experience.

私が滞在した時期はサンセットが右寄りに見えるため、ワイキキからは建物などで遮られて見えづらい時期でした。でもこのクルーズだときれいにサンセットが見られました！とても良い経験でした。

Great professional sailors and coast guard certified crew. Great “Holokai Hooch”, gotta be careful, that hooch will sneak up on you, especially if you mix it with champagne for that carbonated kick hehe!

Great romantic time with my husband, watched the sunset as sugar ray played lightly in the background. We are a young couple but we love 90s music!

The only drawback is that the trip was too short.

Would definitely do it again, maybe try to nudge them to stay sailing a little longer.

I used the Rock-a-Flush Show Luau for the first time!

It was our honeymoon in Hawaii, filled with first-time experiences! I was a bit anxious about fully enjoying Hawaii, so I booked this show to feel that Hawaiian vibe. To sum it up, I truly believe it was a great decision to make the reservation.

First, we received a beautiful lei made of fresh flowers! It was a bit exciting to receive that coveted lei from a hula girl, just like I had seen on TV! After that, we were kindly shown to our seats, and while enjoying a Mai Tai welcome drink and welcome pineapple, we were entertained by live ukulele performances for each guest, creating a welcoming atmosphere during the wait!

Then the luau began! We enjoyed beautiful hula dances by the hula girls and took part in an authentic hula lesson, making my heart feel Hawaiian. After the hula dance show, we indulged in a delightful buffet. The local dishes, fresh fruits, and grilled foods were all amazing, and by this point, both my eyes and stomach were completely satisfied!

But this is just the beginning! We moved to the show venue, where the hula dance evolved with the times, and the dynamic dances and songs kept raising our excitement! The final fire show was mesmerizing, and I couldn't take my eyes off it for a second! I never expected to be so moved, and both my husband and I truly felt that making the reservation was the right choice.

ロック・ア・フラショー ルアウを初めて利用しました！

初めてのハワイで初めて尽くしのハネムーン！ハワイを満喫できるか不安もあり、ハワイっぽさを感じたくこのショーを予約！
結論から言って、予約して本当に良かったと心から思います。

先ずは生花で作られたレイのプレゼント！テレビで見てたあの憧れのレイをフラガールから貰えるなんて、ちょっと嬉しい！
その後丁寧に席に案内され、マイタイのウェルカムドリンクとウェルカムパイナップルを楽しみワクワクしながら待っていると、ウクレレ演奏をゲスト毎に生演奏で披露してくれ、待ち時間も楽しませてくれるウェルカム感！
そこからルアウのスタート！美しいフラガールによるフラダンスを楽しみ、本格的なフラレッスンを受けて、私の心もハワイアン。
フラダンスショーが終わってからはお楽しみのブュッフェ。地元料理や新鮮なフルーツ、グリル料理はどれも最高で、ここまでで既に目も胃袋も満足感間違いなし！

でもここからが本番です！ショーの会場へ移動し、時代と共に進化を遂げいくフラダンス、躍動感溢れるダンスに歌でどんどんテンションが上がっていきます！ラストのファイヤーショーは一瞬たりとも目が離せませんでした！こんなに感動するとは思っておらず、夫婦揃って本当に予約して良かったと心から思いました。

We participated with our daughter and her husband, along with our one-year-old granddaughter. The buffet had a wide variety of delicious food! In a fun atmosphere, we headed to the show. I was worried about how our granddaughter would react since she is so small, but once the music started, she got into it and danced all the way to the end. She had the most fun of all! Thank you for the wonderful memories of Hawaii!

The cruise was a great experience! The captain was very good and friendly and the first mate was incredible setting up the boat, pouring drinks, taking pics, and being super friendly. This is definitely worth the price and much more, highly recommend!

We were all captivated by a wonderful show in Hawaii, which we visited for the first time since our honeymoon. Our one-year-old daughter was also smiling and having a great time!

We started drinking early and enjoyed a leisurely meal in our usual Hawaii style, and decided to have some entertainment for a change. So, I went with my partner to Rock-a-Hula, which I had been curious about for a while.

I felt a bit anxious about the seating arrangement at the buffet, but there was a newlywed couple visiting from Korea right in front of us, and we had a great time chatting during the meal. An auntie with a ukulele came over to welcome us and asked for song requests, but she was not pushy at all. When I gave her a tip to thank her, she seemed quite flattered.

After the meal, we moved to the adjacent theater. Since it was a Monday and not too crowded, we were guided to the center of the front row, and they made sure to leave space between each group. From my seat, I could see the performers' expressions clearly, and the intensity of the fire dance was so powerful that I could feel the heat. The compact design of the theater allowed even those seated further back to enjoy the show fully.

The show was simply outstanding. Although it was on a different scale, it was comparable to the real Las Vegas performances featuring Elvis and Michael, with a wonderful Hawaiian twist added. I was captivated from start to finish. Even though the theater was only half full, everyone gave their all in their performances, which was truly moving.

The children in the families around us seemed a bit bored with Elvis and Michael, but they were really excited about the songs from Moana and the fire dance.

早めに飲み始めて食事してまったり過ごすいつものハワイで、たまにはエンタメを楽しもうと言うことで、以前から気になっていたロック・ア・フラに恋人と出かけてきた。
ビュッフェではどのような配席になるのか多少の不安も感じていたが、正面に韓国からハネムーンで訪れている新婚さんがいて、食事中も楽しく盛り上がった。またウクレレを持ったおばさまが歓迎の言葉と共に歌のリクエストを尋ねてきたが、押し付けがましさもなくお礼のチップを渡したら恐縮していた。

食後は隣接する劇場に移動し、月曜日でさほど混んでいなかったこともあってか最前列の真ん中に案内してもらい、またそれぞれのグループごとに一席ずつスペースを空けて座らせてくれた。因みに私の席からは出演者の表情がよく見え、ファイヤーダンスの火の熱を感じるほどの迫力だったが、コンパクトな造りなので後ろの方の席でも逆に全体が見渡せ十分楽しめるようだった。

ショーは流石の一言。規模こそ違えども本場ラスベガスのものと遜色のないインパソ（エルビス、マイケル）、そこにハワイのテイストが加わったとても素晴らしいもので、最初から最後まで夢中で楽しめた。また大きくない劇場に客の入りは半分ほどでも皆が手を抜かず、一生懸命のパフォーマンスには胸が打たれた。
周りにいた家族連れの子供たちは、やはりエルビスやマイケルにはちょっと退屈そうだったが、モアナの歌やファイヤーダンスには大盛り上がりだった。

Since I came all the way to Hawaii, I wanted to experience a luau, so I made a reservation. I participated with my wife and our two children, aged 7 and 4, for a total of four people.

On the day of the event, we gathered at 5:15 PM on the 4th floor of the Royal Hawaiian Center and presented the voucher that was sent via email at the reception.

After being seated, we enjoyed a welcome drink of Mai Tai (the kids had a non-alcoholic Mai Tai), and after a short hula dance show, the meal began.

The meal included roast beef, roast pork, lomi lomi salmon, and fried noodles, which the kids really liked. There were also desserts like fruits and cake, which were satisfying.

As for the show, we had a very good view from the third row and enjoyed it. I was worried that the kids might get bored, but they were captivated by the fire show, and it seemed like they had a great time.

せっかくハワイに来たのであればルアウを体験したいと思い予約しました。
妻と7歳と4歳の子供の計4名で参加しました。

当日は17:15にロイヤルハワイアンセンターの4Fに集合で、事前にメールで送付されるバウチャーを受付に提示します。

着席後はウェルカムドリンクのマイタイ（子供にはノンアルコールのマイタイ）をいただいて、フラダンスの短いショーを見た後に食事開始となります。

食事の内容はローストビーフ、ローストポーク、ロミロミサーモン、フライドヌードルなどが子供たちには好評でした。
デザートもフルーツやケーキなどがあり、満足でした。

ショーについては前から3列目の席で非常に見やすく、楽しめました。
子供たちが退屈するのではないかと心配していましたが、ファイヤーショーには食い入るように見ており、子供たちも楽しめたようです。

The buffet before the show had flavors that suited Japanese tastes, and it was very delicious! The roast beef and roast pork, freshly sliced by the chef, were particularly exquisite. (The seasoning style allowed us to use our own condiments; I enjoyed mine with rock salt and wasabi.) The tofu poke and salmon poke were also tasty. There was dessert after the meal, and the strawberry gelato was especially delicious.

The show itself was very impressive. To entertain people of all ages, there were performers doing impressions of past artists, combined with hula elements. Personally, I found the part where the local fire dancer performed with fire to be the most captivating.

Overall, it was enjoyable, and I think it’s worth experiencing, including the food.

ショーの前のビュッフェは日本人の口にも合う味付けで、とても美味しく頂けました！
特にシェフが切り立てのローストビーフとローストポークが絶品でした。（味付けは各自調味料を使うスタイル。わたしは岩塩と山わさびでいただきました）取りものですと、豆腐のポケ、サーモンのポケが美味しかったです。食後のデザートもあったのですが、特にいちごのジェラートが美味しかったです。
ショー自体はとても迫力がありました。老若男女楽しめるよう、昔のアーティストのモノマネをされる方が登場し、フラの要素と掛け合わせているものでした。個人的には現地のファイヤーダンサーの方が火を使ってパフォーマンスしている箇所が一番見応えがありました。
総じて楽しく、ご飯の中身含めて一見の価値はあるかと思います。

The meals were served buffet style, and I was able to eat what I liked. They were quite tasty.
During the meal, there was a corner to watch and experience hula dancing.
The main show incorporated Hawaiian elements and featured Hawaiian music along with songs from Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson, taking us through different eras.
To be honest, since I came all the way to Hawaii, I wished I could have enjoyed the traditional shows like hula dancing a bit longer. The Elvis performance was confidently presented and enjoyable, but I felt that the Michael Jackson segment could have been improved in terms of quality.

Regarding seating, VIPs had reserved front seats, but central seats were not guaranteed. (The VIP front center might refer to the central block.) There were no specific seat tickets, and staff encouraged us to sit in the order we entered.

Since the content featured a lot of older music, younger attendees might find it a bit hard to get excited. I think those in their 50s and 60s would enjoy it more.

お食事はブッフェスタイルで好きなものが食べられました。普通においしかったです。
お食事の間にはフラダンスを見たり、体験するコーナーがあります。
本編のショーはハワイ要素を盛り込んだショーとなっており年代を追いながらハワイアンミュージックとエルヴィスプレスリー、マイケルジャクソンの音楽を楽しむ内容でした。
正直な感想を言うと、せっかくハワイに来たのだからもう少しフラダンスなど伝統的なショーを長く楽しみたかったです。
エルヴィスに関しては堂々と披露されており楽しく拝見しましたが、マイケルに関してはもう少し完成度を高めて欲しかったと思います。

席に関してはVIPのため前方座席は確保されていましたが中央座席は保証されていませんでした。（VIPの前方中央というのは中央ブロックという意味なのかもしれません。）座席券は特になく、入った順番に着席するようにスタッフから促されます。

内容的には昔の音楽が多いので若い方は少し盛り上がりにくいかも。50〜60代の方くらいだと盛り上がれるかと思います。
