We participated as a couple. I'm not very comfortable with heights, but being over the ocean made it not a problem at all. We joined at a height of 130 meters, but I think you can enjoy it at any height.

I thought about taking photos from above, but I was worried I might drop my smartphone, so I gave up. I ended up purchasing the photos taken by the guide.

Although we're not a young couple, we really wanted to participate in activities that feel Hawaiian, so it was great.

I was worried because I was about 10 minutes late for the meeting time, so I called the tour company. They told me to keep waiting as they were on their way, and a few minutes later, the pickup van arrived. It seemed to take some time because quite a few participants were on board. We sped along in a boat with little rocking for about 10 minutes and then flew in groups. There were groups that only got splashed a little on their toes and others that got splashed multiple times, so if you have a preference, you can let the guide know to enjoy it more. The guide didn't seem to speak much Japanese, but they tried to understand with their limited English, so there's no need to worry. It was fun!! Thank you, guide!! I participated with my sixth-grade and third-grade boys. Since it was their first time, they were nervous and scared, but it seems they enjoyed it. I really wanted to see an Elvis show while staying in Hawaii. I googled Elvis shows and this one had excellent ratings. We booked the Luau Buffet and show. When we got there we were taken to our seats. Everyone was really nice. They start everyone with a Mai Tai that was really good. We then started the buffet line. The food was great quality & really good. My husband & I enjoyed it very much. During dinner there was a little hula show. It was very fun to watch our server dancing! She was great! After dinner we were escorted to the theater. I was very surprised by the venue. It didn’t seem like it was very big from the outside but once we got in I was pleasantly surprised!! The show was absolutely amazing!! Each performer was outstanding. Every detail about the show was right on point; the band, the dancers, the choreography, the costumes, the singers and the impersonators!! I really enjoyed it! We loved that they also have a meet & greet after the show. I would recommend this show 100%!!

I was scared to see in the photos that people were flying with relatively light gear, and I was quite nervous about flying with light equipment myself. However, it turned out to be surprisingly stable...!!! For those who are afraid, I recommend trying the 150m jump with confidence. There are views there that you won't experience anywhere else.

The crew member was playful and funny, and later when I bought the SD card (make sure to ask if photos are okay in advance!), I was amazed to see how well the pictures turned out despite the boat rocking so much.

The SD card with photos was $30, and I gave the guide a $20 tip when disembarking. I think it's a good idea to have cash prepared.

The early morning reservation I made was fully booked, so I requested a time change and had various exchanges, but each time the communication was smooth.

They informed me how long the delay would be and what kind of car would come, which made me feel reassured while waiting.

The staff member in charge was friendly and we had a very enjoyable time. There were five groups on board with us. Some people were also sightseeing on the boat. Each group had about eight minutes of time. I think seasickness depends on the weather, but no one in our group experienced it.

Everyone seemed to be about the same height.

You can bring a camera at your own risk. We were too scared to bring ours, and we regretted it. It's better to have sunscreen and sunglasses; you don't need a hat. You will be flying barefoot. スタッフが撮影してくれる写真は買わなくても大丈夫です。
ちなみに、米粒みたいで誰が飛んでるかわからなかったwwので、私たちは買いませんでした。
もちろん、購入されてる方もいます。

帰りの送迎までの時間も待つことなくスムーズでした。

Once they realized I couldn't speak English, they responded in broken Japanese, so I could somewhat understand what they were saying.

Watching the parachutes flying from the boat, I was worried because they went much higher and farther than I expected. I thought, "Isn't this really scary? Can I handle it?" But when I actually experienced it, the feeling of exhilaration outweighed the fear. We were blessed with great weather, so the scenery was amazing!

However, while waiting my turn on the battlefield, I had to stay on a fast-moving, turning boat, so motion sickness medication is a must. In fact, I found that part to be scarier (laughs). But even with that fear, it became a great memory. If you stay at a designated hotel, they will pick you up and drop you off right in front of the hotel, so it's reassuring even if you don't have your own transportation. The crew and the drivers were all really nice, and if I have the chance to come to Hawaii again, I would love to do it again!

でも、その怖さを含めていい思い出になりました。指定ホテルに泊まっていれば、ホテルの前まで送り迎えしてくれるので、足がなくても安心です。クルーや送迎の運転手さんもみなさんいい方達で、今度ハワイにくる時があったらまたやりたいです！

This was my first time, and my partner had participated about ten years ago. We arrived early but were allowed into the venue. First, we headed to the buffet area. It felt like the Japanese attendees were gathered at the back of the line.

The welcome drink, Mai Tai, could be chosen as alcoholic or non-alcoholic. It was pleasantly sweet and delicious. Next, the whole roasted pig was brought out, which really raised the excitement.

We lined up to get our food, but we had to wait quite a bit. It felt very American in that regard. In Japan, staff would guide you based on how quickly the line was moving, and you wouldn't have to wait in line holding heavy plates. But here in sunny Hawaii, you shouldn't sweat the small stuff.

次に豚の丸焼き登場でテンション上がります。
順番に並んでお料理を頂くのですが、結構並んで待ちました。そこはアメリカンな対応だなって。日本だったら進み具合を見ながらスタッフが誘導し、重い皿を持ったまま並ぶことにはならないでしょうね。でもここは常夏ハワイ。細かいことは気にしたらダメです。
お料理は野菜サラダ、マカロニサラダ、春雨サラダ、トマトとサーモンのマリネ、照り焼きチキン、白身のカレー風、豚の丸焼きとあと数品あったと思います。どれもまあまあですが、私は白身のカレームニエルが美味しかったです。
食事が進むとスウィーツが登場します。レインボーシャーベット、チョコケーキ、クッキーです。あとコーヒーと紅茶もありました。私はチョコケーキだけ食べましたが、ハワイの割にそんなに甘くなく美味しいと思いました。コーヒーもコナコーヒーでケーキと一緒に頂きました。
食事中ウクレレの生演奏と生歌。スタッフがフラの衣装で雰囲気は十分！
食事ありとナシのプランがありますがその差30ドルくらい。純粋に食事だけ考えるとナシでもいいかなって思えますが、雰囲気とショーへのテンションも考えるなら食事ありの方がいいと思いました。
ただ食事会場はテント下です。もしスコールがあったらテンションだだ落ちでしょう。横から雨が降り込んだり、生演奏が聞こえにくかったりしそう。最近のハワイは気象の変化で雨が多いらしいので、これは運でしょうね。
食後はショー会場へ移動します。

入り口でありがちな写真撮影です。帰りに購入することになるのでしょうけど、私たちはアルコールのおかげでトイレに急いでたので購入せずです。いくらかもわかりません。
プレスリーのそっくりさん(？)と写真を撮って客席に行きます。1階では一番お値段の上のコースの方たちが食事中でした。私たちは2階席です。真ん中の席が良いでしょうが、入った順番に座らせられるのでこれも運です。私たちはちょうど3列目の真ん中でした。しっかり段差があるので前の方の頭は気になりません。
いよいよショーです。
両サイドと正面奥にスクリーンがあり、昔のハワイの映像とともにその年代であろう衣装とフラのダンスが始まりました。
ハワイの歴史とフラにも歴史あり！って感じで年代によって音楽や衣装、ダンスにも変化がありました。全然知らなかった歴史が垣間見えて少し感動しました。
プレスリーの年代からプレスリーとフラのショーでマイケルジャクソンと移っていきます。女性シンガーも登場しますが、その方はモノマネというよりハワイアンミュージックのシンガーなのでしょう。歌唱力に圧倒されました。
プレスリー世代ではないので似てるかはわかりません。マイケルジャクソンも微妙ですが歌は知ってました。ダンスは見る人が見たらクオリティが分かるでしょうが、素人の私は楽しめる程度でした。どちらもスクリーンに本人の映像とコラボしてて雰囲気はバッチリでした。
室内なので諦めてたファイアダンスもありました。やっぱりファイアは生で見ると圧倒されます。
フラの衣装も次々変わっていき、歌も十分聴きごごたえありであっという間に終わってしまいました。

私ははじめモノマネショーと相方に聞いていたので正直期待してなかったのですが、フラの歴史に触れられて、プレスリーやマイケルとも融合し女性シンガーの歌にも圧倒され価値あるエンターテイメントだったと思います。
相方は10年前の記憶があるので昔はもっとマドンナとかもいてて、今回はクオリティが下がったと言ってました。
モノマネショーをメインで思うなら物足りないかもしれませんが、私はポリネシアンショーが好きなので大満足です。ぜひもう一度参加したいですし、お値段以上の価値はあったと思いました。おススメです！

After being picked up, I signed a waiver in the car. The driver didn't seem to understand Japanese, but since the waiver was in Japanese, there were no issues. It took about 10 minutes by car from the Ala Moana Hotel to arrive. We joined three groups that had arrived earlier, and we quickly boarded the boat while still carrying our luggage. Out of the three groups, two were Japanese and one was from overseas. There are no lockers on the boat, but I don't think it's a concern.

About 10 minutes after departure, we arrived at the parasailing point, where each group was fitted with harnesses to start parasailing. I don't think the instructors understood Japanese, but they explained the essentials in Japanese, so there was no inconvenience due to the language barrier. Before taking off, they asked in Japanese whether we wanted to purchase photos or do a "japon" (splash). Some people chose to buy photos, but no one opted for the "japon." Even without doing the "japon," they skillfully controlled the experience so that our feet could dip into the water.

I chose the 150-meter option, but since we were above water, I didn't feel any fear of heights, and the weather was great, allowing us to enjoy the stunning views. When getting off the boat, they managed it well, making it easy to disembark. Those waiting on the boat welcomed us with applause, and the instructors helped create a lively atmosphere.

Although I chose the 150-meter option, I couldn't compare it to other heights, so I might not have felt much difference in height. The instructors didn't provide any explanations about the height either. If you don't do the "japon," you generally won't get wet, but there might be splashes while moving on the boat, so it might be a good idea to prepare a towel if you're concerned.

Before disembarking, we paid tips. We each paid $10. After the tour, they took us back to the hotel where we were picked up. 出航して10分くらいでパラセイリングのポイントに到着し、そこから各組みごとにハーネスを着けてもらいパラセイリングスタートです。インストラクターの方にも日本語は通じないと思いますが最低限のことはちゃんと日本語で説明してくれますし、日本語が通じなくて不自由することもまったくありませんでした。
飛び立つ前に写真を購入するかジャポンするか日本語で聞いてくれます。写真を購入する方はいましたがジャポンする方はいませんでした。ジャポンしなくても足だけ水につかるように上手くコントロールしてくれたりもします。
150メートルを選択しましたが水上なので高い場所にいるという恐怖感はなく、天気も良かったので最高の景色が楽しめました。船に降りるときも上手くコントロールしてくれ簡単に降りられます。船上で待っていた方も拍手で迎えていただきインストラクター含めて盛り上げてくれます。
150メートルを選択しましたが他の高さと比較ができないので高さによる違いはあまり体感できないかも知れないです。インストラクターからも高さについての説明はありませんでした。
ジャポンしなければ基本的に水に濡れることはないですが船で移動中に水しぶきがかかるので気になるかたはタオルなど準備した方がいいかもしれません。
降船前にチップを払い終了です。私たちは1人10ドル払いました。
終了後はすぐにピックアップしたホテルに送ってくれます。8時スタートに参加して9時半頃にはホテルにいるのでその後の予定も立てやすくおすすめのツアーです。
また予約時に指定されたピックアップ場所をVELTRAカスタマーサービスを通じて変更してもらいました。メールで日本語による問い合わせでしたが早急に対応していただきこの点も良かったです。ありがとうございました。

The driver for the pickup was English-speaking and very friendly, making the ride enjoyable. Once we arrived at the port, there was a female staff member who spoke Japanese, which was reassuring. Parasailing was incredibly refreshing! The captain of the boat was very skilled at maneuvering, and the crew took many wonderful photos with great creativity. The photos are available for an additional fee, but I think $30 for the SD card is quite reasonable. There are no changing facilities, so you'll have to return wet, so it's best to bring a towel to cover the car seat.

We participated as a couple in our 20s. Since we were staying at a hotel near the boat departure point, we walked there in our swimsuits. This time, we chose the 120-meter option. First, we received an explanation from a staff member who spoke Japanese before boarding the boat that came to pick us up. This adventure was more than what we expected. We first boarded a boat that took us out to the submarine. We entered a small port hatch that lowered us into a surprisingly large submarine that held over 63 individuals. We dove to a depth of over 112 feet and saw all manor of marine life around sunken ships and airplanes. We experienced fish and sea turtles nestled among the wreckage along with eels along the coral. To say this was a unique experience was an understatement. How often do you get to go 100+ feet under water and see marine life in their natural inhabitant?

This was the BEST experience I’ve had. I feel the reason my husband and I could enjoy this experience was down to the crew. Safety was an absolute given, with our life vests fitted before we left the harbour. We were out at ease with humorous banter and a super friendly atmosphere.
I like this event so much...I went back for a second time.
The scenery of Waikiki from paragliding was spectacular, and the photos taken of us are going to be treasured for a life time.

I wanted to see some kind of show when I went to Hawaii, so I attended the Rock-a-Hula show, which also included a buffet. The location was easy to find on the fourth floor of the Royal Hawaiian Center, and it was convenient for using the trolley afterward, which was reassuring. We ate at the buffet under the tent on the terrace before moving to the show venue. The meal started with a Mai Tai drink, and they asked whether we wanted it alcoholic or non-alcoholic. The staff guided each table in turn to the buffet. While we were eating, we could enjoy dancing and singing, which heightened the feeling of being in Hawaii. The show had free seating in the second-floor section. Video and flash photography were not allowed, but taking photos was okay. An Elvis impersonator came around, which was a bit challenging for everyone, but it was fun. The dancers changed costumes quickly and performed energetically. If you mainly want to see hula dancing, you might find it a bit different. However, as a show, the dancing was excellent, and I enjoyed it without getting bored until the end, which left me satisfied. After the show, they also took photos and signed autographs in the lobby, providing excellent service.

If you want a typical Hawaiian luau this show is not for you. But if you enjoy music going as far back as the 1930's then this show is highly recommended. Most of the music was done by Elvis and Michael Jackson. The performers were great. The fire dance was great but was very short/limited. The performance was done indoors in a theater with theater seating which was great but again if you want to experience an outdoor luau this show is not for you.

The location of the show is in the heart of Waikiki Beach on the 4th floor of a mall. We drove from Marriott Ko olina Resort which is about 20 miles away and took is about 45 minutes to get to the show. So if you are planning to come from the Ko olina/Aulani Resort area plan to drive for 45-60 minutes. There is ample parking to self-park. The parking is free for the 1st 3 hours with validation. After the show you can walk around in the area for shopping. The check in experience was great and was very fast. All the workers were very helpful and hard working. The food was simple, tasty and healthy, especially the curry fish.

overall my family and I enjoyed this show and would recommend it to others.

This time, I used the Terrace Luau Buffet & Show. After arriving, I had the buffet on the terrace of the Hawaiian Center. There were about 10 dishes, including roast beef, huli huli chicken, and whole roasted pig, which left me completely full. Additionally, during the meal, I was able to enjoy ukulele performances and dance close to my seat. After that, we moved to the show venue, and we had seats right in the middle of the second floor! It was very easy to see. The show included rock music, hula, and fire dancing, and I was able to enjoy it all the way to the end without getting bored. I was moved by the performances of Michael Jackson and Elvis. Being able to see authentic hula made for a wonderful memory!
