I used this experience for my honeymoon. I have a fear of heights, but since my husband enjoys this kind of thing, I looked at other people's reviews and decided to try it at 150 meters.

There were two American couples and two Japanese couples participating. The boat had one driver and one staff member. As soon as we got on the boat, we placed our bags and shoes under the seats. I kept my smartphone on a strap around my neck.

After we set off, the staff started talking, but everything was in English, so honestly, since we’re not very good at English, we were a bit confused and just followed along as they helped us put on our safety belts and life jackets. We swayed for a few minutes. I intended to take motion sickness medicine, but I forgot that day and desperately stared at the distant scenery.

We were the last group, so we first watched the others jump. They quickly became small, and as someone with a fear of heights, I felt a bit of regret. While the other groups were experiencing it, the boat was moving at quite a speed when suddenly the staff shouted, "Whale!" Looking over, we saw the spout and tail of a whale near where the boats had gathered! I was so lucky to be able to do whale watching for free; it was amazing!

Then it was our turn, and since we had to go, we ascended. I thought it might be scary to float up, but it was okay. We slowly rose up. Since we were over the sea, the boat gradually became smaller. It was somewhat scary, but the breathtaking view made up for it. I thought it might be scarier, but it was more manageable than I expected. My husband was next to me taking lots of pictures.

Up in the sky, it was very quiet, just our little world. The floating time was about five minutes. Just when I was starting to get used to it, I realized we were going down. The descent was also slow, so it wasn’t scary. When we landed, my backside got a little wet.

This is such a rare experience with an incredible view, and even with my fear of heights, I highly recommend it!!!

同じような方の参考になればと書かせていただきます。

アメリカ人2組、日本人2組の参加でした。
ボートには運転手1人とスタッフ1人。
まずボートに乗ってすぐ荷物や靴は座席の下にいれます。スマホはストラップで首にかけた状態でいました。
出発してスタッフが話されますが全て英語なので正直英語が得意でない私たちは？？？という感じでなされるままに安全ベルト？とライフジャケットを装着。
そのまま揺られること数分。酔い止めを飲むつもりですが当日忘れてしまい、必死に遠くの景色眺めてました。
私たちは最後の組でまず他の人が飛ぶのを見守りました。一気に小さくなって人影に高所恐怖症の私は少し後悔笑
他の組が体験している間、ボートはかなりのスピードで走っていますが、急にスタッフが「ホエール！」と。みると船が集まってた近くに鯨の潮と尾鰭がみえました！
まさかタダでホエールウォッチングできるとは、とても幸運で最高でした！

そして自分たちの番、行くしかないのでいざ、浮上。
浮く時怖いかなと思いましたが大丈夫でした。ゆっくりゆっくり浮上していきます。海の上なのでボートがだんだん小さくなって行く感覚。
多少は怖かったです笑。手は絶対離さなかったです。ただそれを上回る絶景が広がってました。
もう少し怖いかと思いましたが、予想よりかはいけました。旦那は隣でパシャパシャ写真撮ってました。。。
空の上はとても静かで２人の世界です。
浮いている時間は大体５分くらい。ようやく慣れようとする頃に気づいたら下がっていってます。下がる時もゆっくりなので怖くありません。着水するときお尻まで少し濡れました。
こんな滅多にない絶景での体験、高所恐怖症ではありますが、とってもおすすめです！！！

I wasn't able to get a photo taken. I was told something in English, but I couldn't understand it. It felt a bit unkind! It's very disappointing that I don't have any memories from this experience.

I participated with my middle school daughter and my sixth-grade son. My daughter was scared and only joined us on the boat, but she was encouraged to fly if she felt like it, and it seems she had a great time on the boat. The guide took many photos with my daughter's smartphone, so it was fine not to purchase any.

Since there were only three groups, we quickly got our turn. Before we knew it, we were up in the sky, enjoying the blue ocean and the wonderful scenery! You can store your belongings under the seats, and the access is great, allowing you to make the most of your time there, so I highly recommend it.

中学生の娘、小学六年生の息子と参加しました。
娘は怖くて船上だけの付き添い参加でしたが、気分が変わったら飛んでいいよと沢山話しかけて貰い、船上で楽しい時間を過ごしたようです。
写真は娘のスマホでガイドさんが沢山撮ってくださり、購入しなくても大丈夫でした。

3組だけだったので、すぐに順番が。
あっという間に空に上がり、青い海と素晴らしい景色を楽しむ事が出来ました！
荷物は椅子の下に置けますし、何よりアクセスが良くて現地時間を有効に使う事ができるのでおすすめです。

Great ride, they staff seemed knowledge in safety during the ride, beautiful views form above too

The workers and staff were amazing on stage and equally amazing hosts during dinner service. The food was ok but regardless the luau itself and dancers were fabulous.

It was my first time surfing, but the instructor was skilled, and I was able to succeed right away. There were also staff members who spoke Japanese, including Yamazaki, which was very helpful. Hula, hula.

初めのサーフィンでしたが、インストラクターの肩が上手で、すぐに成功することができました。ヤマザキをはじめとして日本語が話せるスタッフもいて、とても助かりました。ふらんすあ、ふらんすあ。

I booked this activity in the middle of my 3-night, 5-day trip.

To put it simply, I’m glad I experienced it!

Reasons include:
- The staff were entertaining.
- The speed of the boat to the parasailing point and during the parasailing was incredible!
- I was surprised by the flow of getting lifted into the air from the boat!
- While parasailing, I was a bit scared of the height, but the view was breathtaking.

If you're interested, I definitely recommend giving it a try!

This was my third time at the Rock-a-Flash Show. Each time I go, the audience gets bigger, and the content is more fulfilling and enjoyable. I definitely want to see it again when I go to Hawaii.

見る度にお客様も増えていて内容も充実し楽しめました。
またハワイに行った時には是非見たいと思います。

Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy, but I still had a great time! I think even those with a fear of heights won't find it too scary since it's over the sea! The sea breeze feels nice, and the driver, who was quite energetic, made it even better!

あいにく天気は曇りでしたがそれでもとても楽しかったです！
高所恐怖症の方でも下は海なのでそんなに怖くないとおもいます！
海風も気持ちよいし、運転手も飛ばしてくれる方(?)もテンション高めで最高です！

After finishing an early dinner, we headed to the 4th-floor venue of the Royal Hawaiian Center. With excitement building, the show began. The rock and hula show started off vibrantly and energetically. The singing and hula were wonderful, instantly immersing us in the Hawaiian spirit.

About ten hula dancers performed on stage with instruments like the uli uli and puili, and their acrobatic performances were impressive. After a while, an Elvis Presley impersonator took the stage, and he was amazing—not just in appearance but also in costume and voice! The video of the real Elvis Presley projected beside him was equally captivating.

Next up was a Michael Jackson impersonator. I was truly impressed by the professionalism of both performers! The finale featured a fire dance that was powerful, with the intensity and heat of the dancers' sweat adding to the spectacle. It was incredible!

An hour and a half flew by, and I couldn't take my eyes off the performance for a moment. With excitement still buzzing, we headed back to the hotel, having truly enjoyed a wonderful evening.

早めの夕食を済ませて、ロイヤルハワイアンセンターの4階会場へ。
ワクワクしながら、、さあ始まりました。
ロックフラショーが華やかに賑やかにスタートです。
歌もフラも素敵で一気にハワイアンの気分で盛り上がりました。
10人位のフラダンサーがウリウリやプイリの楽器を持って舞台狭しとダンスされたり、アクロバットを取り入れたパフォーマンスも見ごたえありました。
しばらくすると、エルビスプレスリーのそっくりさん、容姿だけでなく衣装も歌声も素晴らしい！舞台横に映し出されたエルビスプレスリーご本人の映像と何ら引けなく、釘付けです。
なんと次はマイケルジャクソンのそっくりさんです。
おふたりのプロ意識には感服しました！
最後はファイアーダンスです。迫力があり、熱さもダンサーの汗も飛び散ってくる迫力でした。凄い！ていう言葉しかありません。
あっという間の一時間半、片時も目を離さずにはいられません。
興奮冷めやらぬ気持ちでホテルに向かいましたが、本当に楽しい夜を過ごせました。

Great time parasailing. The boat crew were very friendly and knowledgeable. It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience! The check in process was very smooth, and they even offer photo services which is a great idea

I was finally able to see the Rock-a-Hula show again after a long time (maybe the third time?). You can enjoy a high-level show featuring impersonators of Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and some people I didn't recognize (laughs), along with a hula show. However, it seemed like Michael Jackson was a bit tired? I felt that his sharpness was slightly lacking. Still, it brought back memories of that time, and I had a very moving and enjoyable experience. The venue is located within the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, making it easily accessible for older individuals, so I highly recommend it.

久しぶりに、ロック・ア・フラショーを観る事が出来ました。（多分、3回目？）エルビス・プレスリー、マイケル・ジャクソン、知らない人（笑）のそっくりさん達と、フラショーを交えたレベルの高いショーが楽しめます。ただ、マイケル・ジャクソンさん、少しお疲れだったのでしょうか？あのキレッ！キレ！さが少し欠けていたように感じました。それでも、当時の事を思い出し、とても感動し、楽しい時間を過ごす事ができました。開催場所も、ロイヤル・ハワイアン・ショッピングセンター内にあり、高齢な方でも気軽にアクセスしやすい場所なので、お勧めします。

We went with a couple in their 30s and 20s, along with four children aged 1 and 2! I didn't have high expectations because the price was low compared to other hula shows, but it pleasantly surprised me.

The entertainment was a mix of various genres, including rock and roll, Hawaiian music, and hula dancing! What stood out the most was the show featuring Michael Jackson, which I know well. His classic songs were performed live by a band, and there was also a collaboration with dance footage of Michael himself, which got everyone in the audience excited. However, during Michael's "Thriller," the children started crying, so families with kids might want to sit further back, haha. There was also an Elvis Presley show, but since I wasn't very familiar with that artist, I wished I had studied more about him.

The hula dance show was also a highlight. They showcased hula dancing, an essential part of Hawaiian culture, with energetic performances that made us feel vibrant. The fire dance, in particular, was an impressive performance!!

The performance lasted about an hour, which was a manageable time for the kids, and since it was right in the heart of Waikiki, the access was great. I think it's a very easy-going hula show to participate in. I definitely want to go again next time!

30代と20代の夫妻、そして1歳児、2歳児の子どもたち4名で行ってきました！
他のフラショーと異なり、金額が安いため、そこまで期待していなかったのですが、良い意味でそれは裏切られました。

ロックンロールやハワイアンミュージック、フラダンスなど、様々なジャンルが織り交ぜられたエンターテインメントでした！特に印象に残ったのは、私もよく知っているマイケル・ジャクソンのショーでした。生演奏のバンドと共にマイケルの名曲が演奏され、その後にはマイケル本人のダンス映像とのコラボレーションもあり、会場全員ノリノリになっていました。
ただ、マイケルのスリラーで、子どもたちが泣き出してしまったので、子連れ家族は後ろの座席のほうがいいかもしれません笑
また、エルビスプレスリーのショーもあったのですが、こちらは私があまりその歌手を知らなかったので、もっと勉強しておけばよかったと思いました。

フラダンスのショーも見どころのひとつでした。ハワイアンカルチャーに欠かせないフラダンスを、エネルギッシュな演出と共に披露しているため、見ているこちらも華やかな気持ちになりました。特にファイヤーダンスは圧巻のパフォーマンスでした！！

パフォーマンスの時間も1時間程度と時間拘束も少なく、子どもたちも飽きず、かつ、ワイキキど真ん中の会場のためアクセスも良くて、非常に気軽に参加できるフラショーだと思います。ぜひ次も行きます！

天候にも恵まれて、４組で陽気なインストラクターで素晴らしい思い出になりました。
どうもありがとうございました。

The people were fantastic and the fishing was great! My son (10) and I had a blast! My son also really enjoyed seeing whales and sea turtles on our trip. We highly recommend this excursion for anyone!

I used this for my honeymoon. The weather was perfect on the day, and with calm winds, we had a stunning view of Diamond Head and the entire Maunalua Bay area, creating the best memories.

*Since the boat is small, it does sway quite a bit (which is fun too), but if you are prone to motion sickness, taking anti-nausea medication is a must. It takes a bit of time to get out to sea.

The parasailing time is 6-7 minutes, but it was thrilling enough, so it felt like plenty of time.

The captain and the pilot were both very cheerful and unique, making for a fun experience throughout!

ハネムーンで利用しました。当日は天気に恵まれ、風も落ち着いた中、ダイヤモンドヘッドからマワラ湾一帯を一望でき、最高の思い出になりました。

※船が小型のため、なかなか揺れます(それも楽しいですが)乗り物酔いしやすい方は酔い止め必須です。
沖に出るまでそれなりに移動します。

パラセイル時間は6-7分ですが、スリル満点のため、十分な時間でした。

キャプテンと操縦士もとても明るくユニークな方で、終始楽しいひとときでした！

I watched it on the first day of my arrival in Hawaii.
You can listen to music from famous people in America who have connections to Hawaii.
It's very well done and interesting, with performances that you wouldn't see in Japan, so I think it's worth a look.
However, the music being played is somewhat dated, so if you're in your 30s, it might lack excitement.
I was able to watch it until the end, but my companion, since it was the first day of our arrival, slept through the whole thing from start to finish! (laughs)

ハワイ到着初日に視聴。
アメリカで有名な人の音楽でかつハワイに縁のある人の音楽が聴けます。
とても、上手で面白く、日本ではみないような演出をしてくださるので、一見の価値はあるかと思います。
ただ、流れてくる音楽の世代がいささか古いので、30代前後だと面白味に欠ける可能性はあるかもしれません。
僕は最後までしっかり見れましたが、連れは到着初日ということもあり最初から最後までずっと寝てました笑

I signed up without meals. It was enjoyable enough. The fire show was particularly impressive. I was surprised to see a hula dancer with a big belly.

食事なしに申し込みました。それなりに楽しめます。ファイアショーが特に迫力があってよかったです。フラのダンサーにおなかが大きい人がいて
びっくりしました。

It was a fun experience at night in Waikiki. You can participate without a mask. After ordering a Blue Hawaii at the bar counter, I was able to enjoy the show.

The distance between the audience and the dancers was just right.

Men swam down from the ceiling, and there were performances featuring Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, fire dancing, and hula, all packed into one exciting show. Time flew by as the energy continued to build.

At the end, there was a great bonus where you could take photos with Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson.

We came to Waikiki for our honeymoon. Since my wife wanted to see a Hawaiian show, we decided to book this experience. The welcome, dinner, hula practice during dinner, and hula show were all exactly as we imagined and were fantastic.

During the meal, there was a couple next to us who came from Los Angeles. The atmosphere was so good that we were able to get to know them well. Additionally, we were able to see shows featuring performers resembling Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson, which was very enjoyable.

This is one of the most thrilling activities I have done in my decades of traveling to Hawaii. Such an incredible value! The crew was amazing. Riding the waves as you take in the majestic views of Waikiki made my birthday morning memorable. Thank you so much!

My spouse and I tried surfing for the first time together. Initially, we just hoped to be able to stand up by the end of the lesson, but surprisingly, I managed to stand up on my first attempt. After repeating it several times, I was even able to strike a pose while standing by the end. Thanks to the cheerful and kind staff, we enjoyed this quick activity immensely.

It was also fun to communicate with participants from various countries while surfing (even if you can't speak English, it's fine to go with the flow; they will cheer you on if you catch a wave well). Additionally, there’s an option to have the day's activities filmed (with drone footage and photos), which I highly recommend for taking home memories.

You can store your belongings in lockers, so it's convenient during your travels. I participated right after climbing Diamond Head early in the morning, and it was no problem at all. The area around the surfing lesson has shallow waters with some rocks, so it might be good to have band-aids and disinfectant just in case.

夫婦揃って初めてのサーフィンに挑戦しました。
当初は、レッスンの最後までに立ち上がれるようになればいいくらいの気持ちで参加しましたが、なんと1回目で立ち上がることに成功。
その後も何度も繰り返して、最後の方には立ち上がってポーズを決めることができるまでになりました。
明るく親切なスタッフの皆さんのおかげで、あっという間のアクティビティを楽しむことができました。
色々な国の方が参加されているので、その人たちともコミュニケーションを取りながらサーフィンをすることができるのも楽しかったです。(英語はできなくてもその場のノリで大丈夫。上手く波にのることができたら褒めてくれます。)
また、オプションで当日の模様を撮影してもらうことが出来る(ドローンを用いた映像と写真)ので、思い出に持ち帰ることもおすすめです。
ロッカーに荷物を預けることができるので、旅の途中にもOK。早朝ダイヤモンドヘッド登頂からそのまま参加しましたが、問題なしです。
サーフィンレッスン付近は浅瀬で所々岩があるので、万一に備えてバンドエイドや消毒液があるとなお良いかもしれません。

This time, I watched a show as part of a limited number of monitors. I attended with my spouse, and I noticed a few other Japanese people in the audience. The seats were in one of the last four rows, and since it was open seating, we were able to sit almost in the middle.

■ Show Structure
It featured Hawaiian songs, popular past hits like those of Michael Jackson, and fire dancing.

■ Impressions
You can hear live performances of songs by Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson. As others have mentioned, it would be unfair to call it mere impersonation, as the performers have outstanding vocal abilities. I wasn't familiar with many of Elvis Presley's songs, but I had a great time. There was interaction with the audience, and the backup dancers and live music were of impressive quality. Songs from the Disney movie Moana were also performed, which I think children would enjoy as well. While you can find free hula and fire dancing performances in places like shopping malls, the quality of this show is very high, so I recommend attending this even if it's just for the show itself.

今回、人数限定のモニターでショーを観ました。
夫婦での鑑賞で、他にも日本人の方はチラホラ見かけました。
席は後ろから4列のどれかでよく、自由席だったためほぼ真ん中に座れました。

■ショーの構成
ハワイの歌、マイケル・ジャクソンなどの過去の人気ソング、ファイヤーダンスといった感じです。

■感想
エルビス・プレスリーやマイケル・ジャクソンの生歌を聴けます。
他の方も記載されていますが、ただの物真似と言うと失礼で歌唱力バツグンの方が歌います。
エルビス・プレスリーは知らない曲が多かったのですが、すごい楽しめました。
観客との交流があったり、バックダンサーや生演奏もすごい完成度で圧巻です。
ディズニー映画のモアナの曲も歌われ、子供でも楽しめるのではないかと思います。
フラダンスやファイヤーダンスは無料で観られるところはショッピングモールなどにありますが、ショーとしての完成度が高いため、ショーのみのプランでもいいので、こちらを鑑賞されるのをオススメします。

Really nice fishing trip! Jack and the Capt. (don’t think I got her name) were really great hosts. Jack was excellent! Super helpful with all concerns regarding fishing equipment and hooking a fish. The Capt. was kind and informative. She knows her job and does it well. Despite the choppy seas, she got us to the spots where people caught fish. It was a great time and well recommended.

The day we experienced was unfortunately rainy, but since it was just a light rain, the event went ahead as planned. Once we started, we had so much fun that we forgot about the rain. However, even though I took motion sickness medication, I struggled with seasickness towards the end, so it's essential for those who need it to take motion sickness medication.

私たちが体験した日はあいにくの雨でしたが、小雨であったため決行されました。
いざスタートすると雨なんて忘れてしまうぐらい楽しかったです。
ただ、酔い止めを飲んでいったのにも関わらず、終盤は船酔いが辛かったので酔い止めを飲む必要のある人は必須です。

Overall the experience was simple amazing. Don't miss out this when you are in Waikiki.The check in was very smooth. There were ticket counters,signs and people to guide through the process.We bought the tickets online and they were able to process it from QR code. They gave us physical copy of ticket which we had to use for entrance. We had warm welcome with garlands and person helped us with our seats.
Theme of the show was how the music evolved around hawaii from 1920 to 2000.It was wonderful transition between different eras. Actors were very talented and sound quality was too good. I felt like I am listening to live original songs.Fireshow was amazing, very creative.I liked how they had catered to all different generations and brought a mix of everything. I did not even realize how time went by and enjoyed each moment of the show.After the show there was meet and greet activity at Lobby. Please spend some time taking pictures with them and appreciating their work. After the show , they also have bar with live musical with happy hour. I enjoyed some drinks at the bar. Definetly don't miss out on that, blue hawaii is the best !

The backup dancers had great energy, and I enjoyed watching everything.
With the backup dancers, the plump Michael was dancing energetically, and the audience was able to join in the fun as well.
I had a ticket reserved for showtime only, without a meal, so I wasn't in the middle, but I was seated on the aisle, which was nice.
If you want to include a meal, please make a reservation with it. The seats were in the middle of the studio.
During showtime, taking photos and videos is allowed.

バッグダンサーの踊りにキレが有り、全て観ていて楽しめました。
バッグダンサーと一緒に、ぷっくりマイケルですがノリノリ踊ってくれて、客席からも一緒に楽しめましたよ。
私は食事無しの、ショータイムのみのチケット予約でしたので、真ん中ではありませんでしたが、通路側の席からでしたが良かったですよ。
食事を付けたい方は付けて予約してください。席がスタジオの真ん中でしたよ。

This time, we participated in a tour for our honeymoon. It's truly moving to experience a show where the audience can cheer and get excited together, something we rarely get to do in our daily lives. At the end, we even got to take photos with the performers, which was a lot of fun! The hula dance and fire dance were of very high quality and really got the audience pumped up, making us feel the thrill of the flames as well. Since it's an indoor stage, it's easy to go regardless of the weather. I would love to go again when I visit Hawaii!

今回は新婚旅行でツアーに参加しました。
こんなに歓声をあげて観客皆で盛り上がれるショーは普段、日常、なかなか体験出来ないので感激です。最後は出演していた方にお写真も撮って頂けてとても楽しませて頂きました！フラダンスや炎のダンス、かなり完成度が高くて盛り上げてくれるので 観客側のこっちも炎のスリルと同時に盛り上がります。雨天関係なく室内のステージなのでいつでも行きやすいです。またハワイに来た時は行きたいです！

Last minute I decided to add this onto my itinerary and it was so worth it! The magic island feels like the perfect spot to dip your toes into scuba diving!
