It was good well explained with saftey and what the plan was. The experience was o.k however there wasn't alot of sea life to see like turtles or alot of fish. The time wasn't as long as it is mentioned in the advertisement. It's great that they offer pics and vids I just wish there would of been more than just 6.
We had so much family fun! Such a beautiful experience! Thank you so much to all the crew that gave us instruction and kept a very good eye on us! We would definitely recommend this fun activity! We have ao many beautiful pictures!

Even with last-minute reservations, you can feel secure as they confirm everything properly via email and phone. I was a bit anxious about the reception location since there was no sign (as mentioned in the reservation confirmation), but following the map sent with the confirmation helped me find it.
It mentioned to arrive 30 minutes early, but I ended up waiting with nothing to do until the start time, so the purpose of the early arrival was unclear.
The snorkeling experience starts with the instructor properly explaining how to handle the equipment, which is reassuring for beginners. I recommend it for those who want to safely try it out nearby. The water wasn't very clear, though.

The team was super patient from the start. They gave us a check in call since we got a bit lost after parking. If you see lifeguard stand 1E, head left out towards the water, not down the beach. The instructor was really engaged and patient, tailoring the lesson to our comfort level.
My wife and I had a great time. The two guides, captain and turtle-whisperer, were confident, relaxed, and funny. The pick-up location was incredibly convenient for us, near our hotel on the Waikiki beach strip. The ride to the canyon was just 15 minutes, and looking back on the city was breathtaking.
Once there, we distributed masks and floaty-belts and jumped right in! I foolishly wiped off my mask and it clouded up, but the captain was keen to fix it after I brought it to his attention. The turtle-whisperer was around to spot turtles and check in on our snorkelers, but otherwise we were allowed to roam.
There were quite a few other tour boats and snorkel groups at the site, but we were able to still find turtles and fish while staying a bit away from the groups of other snorkelers. We ended up among a school of black fish and had two turtles swim very close to us! Once while my wife and I were holding hands. A highlight of our vacation!
Don't go into this expecting a private/guided tour of the reef. Instead, it's a relaxing transportation to a great snorkel spot, with equipment included. For this price, I highly recommend it.

Me and my husband had a great time. The guys are very prompt with safety and are very accomodating. We saw turtles and other sea creatures too. My husband was not very confident with snorkeling but they helped him out by getting acquainted with the waters and eventually he gained confidence to snorkel and he enjoyed it a lot later on to see sea life.
Staff on boat were helpful snd professional. Snorkel equipment was ok, kind of old but worked. It was nice to be able to bring our on snacks and drinks on board.

Such an amazing morning! The crew were very friendly and knowledgable. Everything was provided and very easy, they were willing to assist and answer questions and offer advice. I have some incredible videos and memories.

The instructors were extremely helpful and knowledgeable! Saw many turtles and fishes and got great pictures! The mai tais were good and all around had a first great experience! Highly recommend this for beginners!
Nick with snorkeling gave us easy simple lessons to feel comfortable in the water. showed us around. and took wonderful pics ! had an amazing experience!
Crew was great, my family really enjoyed it. Lots of fish to see, my wife seen a turtle and really liked the experience. If you’re not a strong swimmer or out of shape I would suggest not booking. I found swimming against the current hard but my wife and daughter are stronger swimmers than me and had an easier time.

The staff was super friendly and we had a fun time. We were able to see a turtle and lots of fish. They supplied snorkel gear and drinks/soda. Just remember to bring a towel because it can get chilly. Location was easy to access as they are on the beachside of dukes Waikiki. Definitely recommend Manu Kai..
Loved this tour, the boat was easy to find, and its nice that its close to the hotels and quick, as we did not want a full day on a boat!
This is my second time with this outfit. The crew is great, and kind. We had a blast. they are all super chill and fun. It's not a loud party boat with maI tais. Great time. I had a blast on the trampoline in front, laughing the entire time!!!!
Amazing experience for us. The crew were incredibly nice and helpful. We saw lots of turtles and was one of the highlights of our trip to Hawaii.

My fiance and I had such a wonderful time on this cruise! It was our first time snorkeling, and we were a little nervous (for fellow first timers, the apparatus feels a little uncomfortable and claustrophobic on the boat, but feels so much better in the water)! However, the whole crew put us at ease and were super patient with us, helping us to get the perfect fit with our goggles and apparatus. Nicole even gave me one of her hair ties when I forgot mine! The lifeguards were great, helping us to find the best spots to watch turtles and fish, taught us a ton, and even dove down to get an octopus for us to pet. They were great about checking on everyone and making sure we were ok, comfortable, and having fun. The music and mai tais were excellent, and everyone was so friendly and sweet. They offered to take pictures without us even asking! This cruise is such an amazing deal for the price, and was for sure one of the highlights of our first trip to Oahu. My only advice is to be near Duke's at the Outrigger early, there is not super clear signage for where the boat comes in, so go to the bathroom and bring everything you might need so you have time to find the boat. Thanks for an amazing time!
We saw lots of fish and turtles almost the whole time snorkeling. I highly recommend this tour. It was only an hour and a half from getting out there in the catamaran to docking back in. The beverages, especially the Mai Tai’s were delicious as well.
We were able to participate as a family. There was an initial explanation, but I could hardly understand it in English. Just before entering the water, I realized that wearing the rental life jackets was not optional for those diving; everyone had to wear one. It would be easier to understand if there were boards displaying information in multiple languages.
The snorkeling was fantastic, with clear weather and a wonderful encounter with a turtle. There were some waves as we headed out to sea, and I got a bit seasick. Participants should be cautious about that. However, even in that situation, I felt safe. The staff were kind and helped me recover quickly.
At the end, we took a commemorative photo with the staff. It was a great memory to be able to swim with the turtle as well.

Absolutely loved my excursion with this crew. Hands down the best snorkeling experience I had. There were 4 crew members and all were very nice and accommodating. They made us feel at home with drink service (juice, water, alcohol) as well as an awesome playlist. One of the guys, Justin (with long blonde hair) was in the water with us guiding us to where the turtles were. He even dove with my GoPro and got some epic footage. The trip all-in-all was about 90 min, which is perfect. I think a longer tour would have been too much personally. We spent a little over an hour in the water. HIGHLY recommend booking this trip. The staff (captain and 2 mates and life guard) were exceptionally helpful. They explained everything, we’re very prompt and watchful. We saw the turtles at Turtle Canyon…AMAZING! I’m so sorry I don’t remember the crew’s names, but suffice it to say, they were excellent. Reviewed safety cautions and had refreshing beverages for the trip home.
We loved our turtle snorkelling experience and the staff were very helpful and friendly! We only wish we had a bit more time in the water but overall a great trip!
