Snorkeling is a family favorite and we booked a tour with Island Splash Tours as part of a birthday celebration. It was such an absolute pleasure going out with Captain Preston and Alex. We are in Hawaii fairly often and are looking forward to future tours with them. We really appreciated their knowledgeable approach to staying safe and making it fun for all of us. It was much more of a private experience compared to the tours we have taken on the larger boats and it made it all the more special. Everything from helping us select the best time of day to making sure everyone had a wonderful experience was done with such thoughtfulness and professionalism. A “little bird” even told Captain Preston about a family song that he made a point to play as we can back into the harbor. We all felt spoiled and loved every moment of our tour. As a Navy family we also really appreciate the military discount he offers. Completely recommend Island Splash Tours to anyone thinking about a boat or snorkeling tour!!

Great 2.5 hours on and in the water. The catamaran was the best way to sail / boat to the location. On the way we saw dolphins and then several turtles at the site. Plenty of time to snorkle and experience sea turtles and view the fish. Would highly recommend the Mana Kai Catamaran as it has less people, more exciting with waves and sailing and the crew was fantastic!

The Mana Kai Catamaran snorkel experience was absolutely incredible. I would 100% recommend booking if you’re looking to come face-to-face with different fish and turtles. The trip included a lovely boat ride to turtle bay where we were given snorkeling gear and a floatation device. I was afraid we weren’t going to see any turtles, but the trip did not disappoint. The team was very professional, fun, and helpful. Overall, it was a memorable experience for all to enjoy.

My cousin and I booked this snorkeling tour as it was her first time and she didn't feel comfortable being out in super deep in the water or in a very open area. The lagoon where this snorkel tour is hosted is great as it has rock barrier walls all around to protect it from large waves. Our tour guide, Micki was so knowledgeable and was able to tell us so much about the fish and coral that we could see. This is a great tour for beginners or families with younger children who want to try out snorkeling! Would highly recommend it!

We had a great time on our trip with a Island Splash Tours! The captain and crew were very knowledgeable, fun, and very safety conscious.
We had a very peaceful morning out at turtle canyons- heading out we got a great view of Waikiki from the water, which was beautiful! We saw a lot of turtles, and even had some dolphins swimming right next to the boat on our way back!
I highly recommend this company and their tours. Their semi-private tours make for such a fun, relaxing, and personalized experience!

We were the only Japanese participants, but after the overall explanation in English, they provided individual explanations in clear English, which made it very considerate and easy for us to participate.

Book this tour now! You can check around for other tours but you are wasting your time. Island Splash Tours is the best! Me and my girlfriend had a blast with Preston and Kris. Very private experience! Only us and one other group onboard. They are very safety oriented and make sure that everyone is having a good time. We saw so many turtles, too many to count. Kris found us an octopus and a collector urchin.

overall experience was amazing! Great boat with a net to sit in and get wet! Boat crew were lovely, funny and super helpful with facts about the turtles! Loved every second of this tour, would 100% go again!

Truly an incredible experience; managed to see a pod of dolphins on the way there, and multiple turtles once we got to Turtle Canyon, its basically like swimming in an aquarium. The boat isn't the largest of ones you see going out there but it allowed for us to hang our legs off the side into the water as it sailed out, just totally absorbing the vibes of it all. Great price for an amazing experience.

Our family spent the day sailing to Turtle Canyon where we stopped to snorkel in the warm waters off Waikiki. The equipment provided was great (mask, snorkel, flotation device) and our guides were friendly and made sure we had the opportunity to see plenty of wildlife. Our family swam with turtles, but sailing on the catamaran was just as exciting! It was easy to locate our catamaran from the beach and our family managed to get free parking at the Kapiolani park.

One of the highlights of our trip. We brought our very adventurous 2 and a half year old out with us to swim with turtles and the crew were amazing and supportive!

Amazing and affordable snorkeling experience in Waikiki, I would recommend this tour for first time snorkelers like myself, the tour guides are very nice and helpful! 10/10 can't wait to be back and do it again :)

MIckey did a great job of explaining and making sure that everyone felt safe and had a good time. I only wish we could have stayed out longer.

Great crew and lovely time. The snorkeling was a little deep, but the abundance of turtles made up for it. The snacks and sodas for the sail were very welcome. Wonderful time for all!

This is just what I needed. I'm not a great swimmer nor very confident in open water, and this was an excellent way to learn to snorkel. I HIGHLY recommend it! Our guide was Ashton. He was awesome! And the pictures were cool.

I participated in the initial practice for snorkeling because I was anxious about going out to sea the next day. Since it was my first experience with snorkeling, the calm waves made it a great place for beginners. All the instructions were in English. They explained how to put on the gear, how to breathe, and the precautions. After that, we practiced in an area where we couldn't touch the bottom. It was mentioned that there was a locker for valuables, but all participants' belongings were placed in a large box with a lock, which was mostly left open. It's better not to bring valuables.

Since it was the same location as scuba diving, it seemed there were staff members coming and going. There were only park restrooms and an outdoor shower. This time, there were two children and me, along with two Americans in our group. For those who can't swim, the instructor pulls a float, so you can hold on and practice. I highly recommend this for anyone who feels anxious about going straight into the sea.

翌日の海に出てシュノーケリングが不安だったのでの初練習として参加。初体験シュノーケリングなので参加して波が穏やかで、初体験の場所として良かったです。説明は全て英語です。付け方や息の仕方の方法、注意事項を説明その後は足が付かない所でずっと練習、貴重品ロッカーと書いてありましたが、大きな鍵付きの箱の中に参加者全員の荷物を入れる、ほぼ開けっぱなしです。貴重品は持たない方が良いですね。
スキューバダイビングと同じ場所なので入れ違いで誰かスタッフがいるようでした。
公園のトイレと外にシャワーがあるだけです。
今回は子供2人と私、アメリカ人2人のグループでした。泳げない人はインストラクターが浮き具を引いてくれるので捕まって練習してました。
いきなり海に開くのが不安な方にはとてもお勧めです。

It was a wonderful experience for beginners. Our instructor was patient and explained everything thoroughly. I liked that we snorkeled in a cove making the waters calm.

Great experience if you are looking for budget friendly turtle snorkeling experience. The guys were very friendly, nice and cared for the group. The time was perfect. Long enough to swim with turtles and short enough for people who got sea sick. Highly recommend. Thank you for making this budget friendly experience available.

My family had so much fun turtle snorkeling. My son got scared going in the middle of the ocean but the staff had him on his board and took him around to see the turtles and taught him so many fun facts. We had a special treat of having dolphins swim alongside the boat. Would recommend this to anyone thinking of snorkeling with turtles.

My family of 9 had a great time. Price was amazing, staff was great. Fun boat ride with 3 kids 14y. Water was so clear was able to see several turtles and so many fish. I would recommend this to anyone.

This was a super fun activity. Staff members were super friendly and very responsible, making sure everyone was safe at all times while on the boat and in the water! Family saw lots of fishes and couple of turtles! The ride was a fun one and you get a great view of Waikiki. Mahalo to the team!

I chose this tour because the meeting place was close to my hotel and there weren't many options available at the last minute, but it turned out to be a great decision. I had a wonderful experience.

When we arrived at the snorkeling point by boat, we encountered a pod of dolphins! We enjoyed watching the dolphins from the boat.

Once in the water, I swam surrounded by schools of colorful fish of various sizes. (The staff threw food from the boat, so many fish gathered around.) After that, the staff guided us by swimming to the turtle point. We were able to see three turtles that day. They occasionally came up to the surface for air, allowing us to see them up close, which was incredibly exciting!

After the snorkeling time ended, we returned to the boat and sailed out to sea with the sails up, moving quite fast. I was fine, but those who are sensitive to motion might want to be cautious.

The website mentioned bringing a "photo ID," so I brought my passport, but it wasn't required. I didn't read it carefully, but it seems it was needed if you wanted to purchase alcohol on the boat. I misunderstood and thought it was required for the tour participation, so I would appreciate it if the wording could be changed.

After getting out of the water, it can be chilly with the sea breeze, so it's better to have a long-sleeved cover-up or a large towel. Also, there are no staff members who speak Japanese. They explain the precautions before entering the water, so having good listening skills would be helpful. (Since they use gestures, you might manage if you can catch some key words.)

集合場所が宿泊ホテルに近かったのと、間際の予約で他にあまり無かったので選びましたが、結果的に大正解でした。とても素晴らしい体験が出来ました。
ボートでスノーケリングポイントに着いた頃合いで、イルカの群れに遭遇！
ボートの上からしばしイルカ見物。
海に入り、大小色とりどりの魚の群れに囲まれながら遊泳。
（スタッフがボートから餌を投げるので沢山集まってきます）
その後、ホヌポイントまでスタッフが泳いで誘導してくれました。
この日は3匹のホヌに会えました。時おり水面まで息をしに上がってくるので本当に真横にホヌを見ることが出来、大感激！
スノーケリングタイムが終わった後は、ボートに戻り、沖合まで帆を上げてかなり飛ばしていきます。私は大丈夫でしたが、揺れに弱い人は要注意です。
WEBには持ち物に『写真付きのID』と書かれていたのでわざわざパスポートを持っていきましたが、提示は求められませんでした。よく読まなかったのがいけないですが、ボート上でお酒を購入したいときに必要ということだったようです。ツアー参加の際に掲示を求められると勘違いしてしまいましたので、書き方を変えていただけると嬉しいです。　
水から上がった後海風に吹かれて寒いので、長袖の羽織るものか大き目のバスタオルは有った方が良いです。あと、日本語話すスタッフはいません。海に入る前に注意事項を説明されるのでヒヤリング力は有った方が良いです。（身振り手振りの説明なので単語が聞き取れればなんとかなるかも）

It was an overall great experience and the staff was very helpful ! Would do it again !
