The pickup location for the bus on the way there was hard to find. (There were many people from other tours, and we couldn't tell what our bus looked like.)
As for the horseback riding, we could hear the sound of the waves and got splashed by the sea spray, and the wind felt pleasant. The horse was calm and occasionally stopped to graze, which was enjoyable as well. Riding along the coast, something we can't do in Japan, was a valuable experience.
In Haleiwa Town, we only had time for lunch, and it would have been nice to have a little more time to relax.

行きのバスのピックアップ場所がわかりづらかった。（他のツアーの人たちも多く、自分たちのバスがどのような物かもわからなかった）
乗馬については波の音が聞こえ、波飛沫がかかるくらいで、風が心地よかったです。馬もおとなしく時々草を食んで道草しましたが、それも楽しかった。日本では出来ない海岸沿いの乗馬は貴重な体験でした。
ハレイワタウンではランチの時間しか無くもう少しゆっくり出来たら良かった。

The driver was very friendly and shared interesting stories, making the journey enjoyable. The Dole plantation was less lively than when I visited before, and the pineapple ice cannot be purchased with a card, so cash is necessary. The driver explained the horseback riding in Japanese beforehand, which made me feel at ease. A staff member will take photos along the way, so be sure to bring your smartphone. There is only one riding club, and it's not very clean, so I recommend bringing hand towels or similar items. The stroll around Haleiwa goes by quickly, so it might be better to ask the driver to place a lunch order in advance. It gets crowded when eating and lining up for shave ice, so Aoki might be a better choice. I wish I had a bit more time.

ﾄﾞﾗｲﾊﾞｰの方はとてもゆかいで為になる話をして下さり、道中は楽しかったです。
ﾄﾞｰﾙは以前来た時とはにぎわいがなく、ﾊﾟｲﾝｱｲｽはｶｰﾄﾞ使えず、現金持参が必要です。
乗馬は先にﾄﾞﾗｲﾊﾞｰさんが日本語で説明してくださったので、安心して乗ることができました。途中写真を係の方が撮ってくれるので、ｽﾏﾎ持参を。
乗馬ｸﾗﾌﾞにはは一つしかなく、綺麗とは言えないので、お手拭き等持参することをお勧めします。
ﾊﾚｲﾜ散策はあっという間なので、ﾗﾝﾁは予約注文ﾄﾞﾗｲﾊﾞｰさんに頼む方がいいかもです。食べて、ｼｪｲﾌﾞｱｲｽ並ぶのに混むので、青木の方がいいかもしれません。時間もう少しあったら、良かったと。

The guide was very talkative and shared a lot of interesting stories during the ride. They were considerate, and even though my English isn't great, I was able to enjoy the experience.

お話し好きなガイドさんで、車内ではずっとたくさんお話聞かせてくれて面白かったです。気の利く方で、英語が苦手でも楽しむことができました。

The guide and driver, Mr. Arai, was very polite and made the tour truly enjoyable and reassuring.

I will definitely repeat this tour when I come to Hawaii.

Great experience! Very professional and knowledgeable.

We participated in a tour as a couple aged 68 and 65. It was our first experience with horseback riding, but there was one assistant for every four people, so it was easy to just follow along without any issues.

Once we got from the ranch to the coast, we were able to see the beautiful blue sea from a high vantage point. While enjoying the view of the ocean, we had a fun time leisurely riding the horses. The horses were accustomed to carrying people, so we just had to maintain our balance. We only needed to slightly change direction or move the reins when stopping. The 70 minutes flew by.

After horseback riding, we went to Haleiwa and tried the garlic shrimp and fries combo from a food truck recommended by our driver, Kazu. It was truly wonderful.

68歳と65歳の夫婦でツアーに参加しました。乗馬は全くの初体験でしたが、4名に1名のアシスタントがいて、ただついて行くだけでしたので問題ありませんでした。
牧場から海岸に出ると、真っ青なきれいな海を高い位置から見ることができました。海を見ながら、馬に任せて楽しく散策できました。
人を乗せるのに慣れた馬のため、ただバランスをとって乗っているだけでした。ほんの少しだけ方向を変えたり、止まるときに手綱を動かすだけですみました。70分はあっという間でした。
乗馬の後でハレイワにいき、ドライバーの一（かず）さんおすすめ、テレビでも紹介されたというキッチンカーでガーリックシュリンプとフライのコンボを食べました。本当によかったです。

It exceeded my expectations. I participated in two activities, snorkeling and kayaking, in the morning and afternoon. During the bus ride, the driver provided fun explanations and conversations, making the journey enjoyable without getting bored (the driver was incredibly funny and friendly). They were busy giving us sightseeing information, pointing out things to the right and left.

However, there was one issue: at the snorkeling site, the tour description stated that "life jackets are available for free," but I was told that this was not included in the tour price. Even when I mentioned it was written on the voucher, they insisted it was different. Originally, it would have been $10, but since we came on the tour bus, they said it would be $7. There were only my husband and me as Japanese participants; the others were foreigners, and since no one else seemed to say anything, I wondered if they had booked through a different company.

A Japanese staff member was in charge and kindly said, "I'm Japanese, so please let me know if you need anything," which felt a bit strange. I was left wondering if what was written on Veltra was incorrect or if there was a communication issue... It left me feeling uncomfortable.

As for the snorkeling itself, I was able to see turtles and various fish, which was enjoyable. For lunch, I had garlic shrimp from the snorkeling side, and they were huge and delicious! However, there were many chickens running around nearby, and as someone who isn't fond of them, I couldn't fully enjoy my meal. The chickens seemed accustomed to humans and appeared from all over.

The afternoon activity was kayaking, which I had never done before, but I had a lot of fun. At a break during the morning, we stopped by a macadamia nut shop that had Kona coffee, which I couldn't find even in Waikiki. I tasted it and bought some immediately. We also briefly stopped at a place selling fresh fruit in Ziploc bags, where everyone was buying and eating papayas.

Aside from the issue with the life jackets, it was a very enjoyable tour.

期待していた以上の内容でした。
午前と午後のアクティビティ、計２つ、スノーケリングとカヤックに参加しました。
バスで移動する間もドライバーさんの楽しい説明と会話で、飽きることなく楽しめました（すごい面白くてフレンドリーなドライバーさんでした）。
右に左に忙しいくらい、観光案内してくれました。
ただひとつ、スノーケリングのところで、ツアー説明には「ライフジャケットは無料で貸し出しします」と書いてあったのに、ツアー代金にそれは含まれていない、と言われ、バウチャーに書いてあると言っても違うと言われ、本来なら10ドルのところ、ツアーバスで来てるから7ドルでOKと言われました。
日本人の参加者は私たち夫婦だけで、他は外国人で、他の人は特に何も言ってなかったので、申し込んだ会社が違うのかなと思いましたが…。
日本人の人が担当で、「私は日本人なので、何かあれば言ってください」とフレンドリーに声かけてきたのですご、なんだかね、って感じでした。
ベルトラに書かれていることが間違っていたのか、あるいは、連絡がうまく伝わっていないのか…不快な気持ちになりました。
スノーケリング自体は、タートルも見られたし魚も色々見られて楽しめました。
スノーケリングの側のガーリックシュリンプをお昼に食べましたが、すごく大きいシュリンプで美味しかったです！
ただ、そばには鶏がたくさん走り回っていて、苦手な私は食事を楽しむことはできませんでしたが。
鶏は人間に慣れているのか、あちこちから神出鬼没でした。
午後のアクティビティはカヤック、初めてでしたがとても楽しめました。
午前中途中の休憩で寄ったマカデミアナッツのお店にはワイキキで探してもなかったコナコーヒーをまぶしたのがあり、味見して、即購入しました。
途中で、ジップロックに入ったフレッシュフルーツを売ってるところにもちょっとだけ立ち寄ってくれ、みなさん、パパイヤを買って食べてました。
ライフジャケットの件を除いては、とても楽しめたツアーでした。

At first, I thought the price was high, but my first horseback riding experience was very enjoyable. Sota from Veltra and the horseback riding staff provided thorough explanations, and I believe the value exceeded the cost. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

I was picked up on time and went from the Dole Plantation to the town of Haleiwa. After getting a brief explanation of the town, we split into groups, and I joined the beach horseback riding plan. Although the explanation was in English, the guide was very helpful, so there were no issues. The horseback riding lasted well over 70 minutes, and the beauty of the coastline was beyond words. On the way back to Haleiwa, we ordered lunch, the garlic shrimp combo, by phone to reduce wait time. I was also able to do some shopping at Patagonia!

時間どおりにお迎えに来てもらってドールプランテーションからハレイワの町へ
ひととおり町を説明してもらった後　散策組と分かれて海辺乗馬プランに。
英語の説明だけどガイドさんがちゃんと教えてくれて問題無し。
70分をゆうに上回る乗馬　海岸の綺麗さは言うまでも有りません。
終わってハレイワに戻る間にランチ　ガーリックシュリンプコンボを電話注文してくれて待ち時間短縮。

This was my third trip to Hawaii, and I finally got to experience horseback riding, which I had been looking forward to. During the transfer, the driver shared various interesting information while driving, and I enjoyed listening while taking in the scenery. I was quite anxious about whether I would be okay with horseback riding and the horses, but they were very well-behaved. At first, I didn't have the luxury to enjoy the views, but once I got used to it, I was able to see the beautiful ocean and take videos. It was an option that left me very satisfied. I definitely want everyone to experience this!

ハワイ旅行3回目にしてやっと念願の乗馬体験ができました。
送迎中も色々な情報を運転しながら話してくださったりしてとても興味深く景色を見ながら聞いていました。
乗馬もお馬さんも大丈夫なのかとても不安でしたが、とてもお利口さんでした。
景色も始めは見る余裕もありませんでしたが、慣れてきたら綺麗な海をみたり、動画を撮ったり　大満足のオプションでした。
是非皆さんに体験してほしいです。

It was my first time horseback riding, but the guide explained how to ride in the car, so I was able to do it without any difficulty. Riding while looking at the blue ocean was incredibly pleasant! The horses were well-groomed and very obedient.

Unfortunately, I couldn't spot any sea turtles at the beach where they come up for air, but in Haleiwa, I had a reservation at a delicious garlic shrimp restaurant, and it was really tasty. However, there definitely wasn't enough time to visit all the restaurants. I recommend doing some research on what places are available and where to go.

At Dole, the line for the pineapple ice cream was very long, so I think you need to get in line right away after getting off to make sure you can return in time.

初めての乗馬でしたが、車の中でガイドさんが乗り方を説明してくれたので、難なくのれました。青い海を横目に見ながらの乗馬はとにかく気持ちよかったです！馬は綺麗に手入れされ聞き分けの良い子たちでしたよ。
海亀が息継ぎのために顔を出すビーチでは残念ながら目撃できませんでしたが、ハレイワではガーリックシュリンプの美味しい店を予約していただき、そこがとても美味しかったです。
ただ時間が足りなくて、店を回りきれないのは確実です。どんな店があるのか、どこに入るのか下調べしていくことをおすすめします。
ドールではパインアイスが長蛇の列だったので、降りたらすぐに並ばないと時間までに戻れないと思います。

I felt reassured that the guide explained everything in Japanese from the start! The information about Dole Plantation and Haleiwa was detailed and informative, making it easy to explore!

Driver on time, and very helpful with local area.
Told him what we wanted to see and do, and he accommodated with ease.
Got stuck in traffic driving up the North shore, so he stayed a little longer for us.

I wish I could have received more detailed information about Haleiwa Town, such as maps and travel time distribution. We did a quick tour around the town, but the explanations and movements were fast, and before I knew it, we had free time, which made me a bit flustered. However, seeing how quickly the parking lot filled up with cars by noon made me understand the urgency. Thank you for your help.

ハレイワタウンの詳しい情報を　地図や移動時間の配分など伺えたらよかったなあ　と少し思いました　現地の町中を1周してくださいましたが　説明や移動が速くあっという間に自由行動となり　慌てました。　ですが　昼にはたくさんの車があつまりあっという間に駐車場は混雑しているのを見ると慌てていらっしゃるのも理解できました。お世話になりました

I chose a seaside horseback riding course, and I was able to ride with peace of mind on a very well-behaved horse. The guide also acted as an interpreter for the local staff, which made everything easy to understand. Additionally, they made a reservation for lunch, and I was able to enjoy the popular garlic shrimp with no waiting time. They also explained the locations of shops in the city, making for a very fulfilling day.

海辺の乗馬コースを選びましたが、とてもお利口な馬で安心して乗馬できました。ガイドさんが現地のスタッフさんの通訳もしてくださり、わかりやすかったです。
また、ランチの予約もしてくださり、食べたかった人気のガーリックシュリンプも待ち時間0で食べられました。街のショップの場所も説明いただき、とても充実した1日になりました。

Horseback riding while enjoying the stunning coastal views is highly recommended. There were seven participants at the same time, but we were divided into two groups of three and four, with an instructor accompanying each group, which was reassuring. The instructions are given in English only, so those who are completely new to horseback riding and not confident in their English may feel a bit anxious. However, the horses understand well, and if anything happens, the instructor will come right away, so you’ll be fine.

海沿いの絶景を堪能しながらの乗馬は絶対おすすめです。　同じ時間で7人参加でしたが、3人と4人の2グループに分かれてインストラクターの方が着いてくれるので安心です。　説明は普通に英語のみなので、全く乗馬が初めてかつ英語に自信が無い方は焦ってしまうかもしれませんが、馬の方が良くわかっていますし、何かあればすぐにインストラクターの方が来てくれるので大丈夫です。

I was picked up on schedule. The meeting point was the hotel name, but when I read the voucher carefully, it turned out to be the trolley stop facing the street. The horseback riding was enjoyable as we walked along the coast. My stay in Haleiwa was just under an hour, which was perfect for me. I also enjoyed the recommended garlic shrimp, which was delicious.

スケジュール通りに送迎してもらいました。待ち合わせ場所がホテル名でしたが、バウチャーをよく読んだら実際は通りに面したトロリー乗り場でした。乗馬は海沿いを歩いて楽しく過ごしました。ハレイワでの滞在時間は1時間弱でしたが私にはちょうどよかったです。オススメのガーリックシュリンプも美味しくいただけました。

The guide provided detailed explanations about various topics (Haleiwa, horseback riding, and the shops). Horseback riding was also enjoyable as we rode along the coast.

ガイドさんは色々説明(ハレイワのこと、乗馬について、お店について)を丁寧にしてくれました。
乗馬も、海岸を通り気持ちよかったです。

We had a wonderful time on this adventure to the north shore on Oahu. Cousin G was our guide and he did a great job taking care of us and keeping things lively. He was so knowledgeable of the history and the area and all the ins and outs of where to go. He was really funny, too! Waimea falls was beautiful and the next stop we opted for paddle boarding. We didn't see any sea turtles, but it was still fun and peaceful. We had a small group of 10, which I don't think is usual, but it was a treat for us because we could move around easily and quickly get in and out of places. We'd highly recommend this to anyone!!

What can I say about “uncle” Kevin…he was the best! He’s filled with so much information about the island and we could sit and listen for hours. We did snorkeling and SUP. While snorkeling we saw a whale! While SUP we saw turtles…AMAZING!!!

Uncle Kevin was awesome. Friendly n funny great host/driver. Enjoyed our tour had a great time we did hike to waterfall n kayaking. Worth the money. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy north shore with some history/information. Read in other review that it was rushed but that’s not how it was at all at least not with our driver uncle Kevin.

My husband and I took the North Shore Tour hoping to get a bit of everything - activities, beach, relaxation and fun. We got what we wanted and more. We had Cousin G who made everyone feel comfortable and entertained, and made the tour engaging and funny.
The tour had a good balance of free/activity time and many choices to choose from. We did the waterfall and kayaking option and was one of the highlights of our trip to Hawaii.
We also got the chance to sight see the east and north side of Oahu and had many stops for photos and breaks.
We felt like we got our moneys worth from this trip and got to see and do a lot on the island in just a 8am - 5pm timeframe.

During my stay on Oahu, I always make sure to visit the North Shore, regardless of the season. I usually rent a car for the duration of my stay, but rental car prices have skyrocketed since the end of the pandemic.

Since I'm familiar with the North Shore, I decided to use a shuttle service instead of renting a car. Although I didn't have any activities planned, I was able to spend a decent amount of time there and was satisfied with my visit. If I had done activities like horseback riding, I would have had very little time left. Not having to drive made it quite easy for me. I think this is a good option.

オアフ島滞在時には必ず季節を問わずノースショアにはいっています。いつもはレンタカーを滞在期間中借りているのですが、コロナ明けでレンタカー料金はバカ高い。
そこで、勝手知ったるノースショアですので、レンタカーの代替として送迎のみで利用しました。アクティビティなしなので、滞在時間は十分とは言えませんが、それなりに取れ満足です。乗馬などをするとほとんど滞在時間はなくなりそうです。車を運転しないので、結構ラクチンでした。こういう方法もありだなと思います。

Uncle Kevin was a great guide, the whole group was nice and we spent more time together than expected.
The activities were so/so - and quite short for some. Also Turtle beach stop was cancelled while other stops (unplanned) took a while.
We saw a lot and learned about Hawaiian culture and life.
4 star for the tour 5 star for the guide

This was a very enjoyable experience of the North shore. It was filled with fun activities, excellent food, and good shopping. Uncle Kevin was a perfect host and tour guide, and the trip would not have been the same without him. Very wonderful experience!

Surf bus instructor, Kevin was very informative- he gave us info to places that we must see and foods/places to eat at.
Enjoyed snorkeling wish we would of seen turtles though. Kayaking time was limited we had to go back to the bus to head back to Waikiki. We did get to visit the small towns on our way to North Shore that grows fresh vegetable and fruits, I think the two stops caused us to use up time on the water activities.

I rode a horse for the first time in my life, and it seemed very well-trained, so I didn't feel scared at all! The sea and mountains were incredibly beautiful, and time flew by in nature. Just looking back at the photos I took brings back such joyful memories.

During the drive to the North Shore, the local guide shared fascinating stories in Japanese about Hawaii's development history and geographical features! They even listened to traffic updates on the radio and planned the best route, making it a very meaningful experience!

Now, I want to go on the canyon plan next.

海も山もとてもきれいで、自然の中で時間があっという間に過ぎました。

しかもラジオの交通情報を聞いて最適なルートを考えてくれたりと
とても有意義な時間が過ごせました！

次は渓谷プランに行きたくなりました。

The canyon horseback riding has chosen a coastal course for its renewal. It's the best view while looking at a local beach that's different from Waikiki! The horses are well-trained and very smart.

In a small group, there were two couples, including us, on their honeymoon. The actual experience starts with just a simple lecture before getting on the horses. There’s no practice, just a full-time horseback riding experience!? They will take photos for you, but if you want to capture moments while riding, it's handy to have a strap to hang around your neck.

Also, the horseback riding experience is divided into two sessions. If you make a last-minute reservation, you might be assigned to the second session. The second session makes it a bit tricky to explore Haleiwa, so if you want to enjoy Haleiwa as well, I recommend booking early. If you want to eat garlic shrimp without waiting, the first session might be better!

Since I had a packed schedule afterward, I got dropped off near Ala Moana. The driver, Kaz, was very helpful. I had a wonderful experience!

Next time, I want to participate in the canyon horseback riding. Thank you!

渓谷乗馬がリニューアルのため海辺のコースを選択しました。ワイキキとはまた違ったローカルなビーチを眺めながら、最高の景色です！
良く調教された馬ちゃんで、とってもお利口です。
少人数のグループで、私達も含めハネムーナの2組。
実際の体験は簡単なレクチャーだけで乗馬スタートです。
練習などはなく、フルタイム乗馬体験！？
写真も撮ってくれますが、乗馬中を撮影したいなら、首から下げたストラップがあると便利です。
また、乗馬体験は入れ替えの2部制です。予約がギリギリだと2部にまわされます。
2部だと、ハレイワの町の散策がビミョーなので、ハレイワも楽しみたい人は早めの予約をオススメします。
ガーリックシュリンプを待たずに食べたい人は1部の方がいいかも！

次の予定がつまっていたので、アラモアナの近くで下車させてもらいました。
ドライバーのカズさんも色々とお世話になりました。とても良い体験ができました！

次回は渓谷乗馬に参加したいです。

Unlike in Japan, there is no one to pull the horse for you, so you have to move the horse yourself. However, since the horses are trained, they will follow the horse of the staff member in front of you.

Being a private beach, the sea was very beautiful.

The horseback riding guide only speaks English, but during the bus ride to the location, the guide explains how to ride and control the horse, so even beginners or those who are not confident in English can feel at ease.

I’m really glad I experienced this. It became my best memory from my time in Hawaii.

日本と違い、馬を引っ張ってくれる方はついておらず、自分たちで馬を移動させるといったイメージです。が調教されているので、前にいるスタッフさんの馬に勝手について行ってくれます。
プライベートビーチということもあり、海がとてもきれいでした。
乗馬のガイドさんは英語のみの対応ですが、行きのバスでガイドさんから日本で乗り方や馬の動かし方など伝えてくれるので、初心者、英語苦手な方でも安心してできます。
体験して本当によかったです。ハワイにいた時間一番の思い出になりました。

The Dole Plantation, which we stopped by along the way, was surprisingly enjoyable. I had a delicious pineapple soft serve and added to my collection of unique penny stamps.

The horseback riding at Makakeha Beach offers beautiful scenery, and the horses are well-trained, making it a safe and enjoyable experience even for beginners. There is a brief explanation of basic reins handling at the start, but generally, the horses follow the one in front automatically, so there's no need to worry.

途中に立ち寄るDolePlantationが意外と楽しめます。おいしいパインソフトを食べ、ここでしかないペニースタンプのコレクションが増えました。
MakakehaBeachの乗馬はとても景色がよく、馬もよく馴致されており初心者でも安心して楽しめると思います。最初に簡単な手綱さばき説明がありますが、基本お馬さんたちはオートマで前の馬についていくので心配しないでください。
