When we left Waikiki, I was a bit anxious because of the thunderstorm and thought we might not be able to ride, but the weather was perfect when it was our turn! The horse was not as skittish as a thoroughbred and was gentle and well-behaved! Although it wasn't very tall, its body was thicker than a thoroughbred's, which made me feel even more like I was abroad! Since I had only experienced British horses, everything felt fresh and new! The instructor was cheerful, kind, beautiful, and really wonderful! The guide was Japanese, very knowledgeable, and explained everything clearly, which made me feel very secure and it was a lot of fun!

If there is enough demand, I would love to see something like "Let's run horses on the beach! (with a pre-lesson)"

ワイキキを出発したときは雷雨で乗れないかも…と少し不安でしたが、私たちが乗るとき天気にも恵まれ最高でした！
サラブレッドよりも怖がりでなく温厚で良い子でした！体高はあまり高くないものの馬体(胴回り)がサラブレッドより太く、脚で挟みきれない感じがより海外に来てる感があって良かったです！
ブリティッシュしか経験がなかったのもあって色々と新鮮でした！
インストラクターの方も明るくて親切で美人でとても素敵でした✨
ガイドさんは日本人でとても知識が豊富で説明も分かりやすくとても安心&楽しかったです♪

一定の需要があればですが、「海岸で馬を走らせてみよう！(事前レッスン着き)」みたいのがあれば嬉しいです

The guide spoke Japanese, but the horseback riding instructor hardly understood it.
Tips are necessary, so you need to prepare cash.
However, the experience was all great!

ガイドさんは日本語が通じますが乗馬インストラクターはほぼ日本語通じませんでした。
チップが必要であり現金を用意しておく必要かあります。
しかしながら体験は全て良かったです！

When it comes to horseback riding in Hawaii, I thought there was only Kualoa Ranch, but I was surprised to find out you can ride along the North Shore coast!! (Even my local friends didn't know about it.) It was definitely refreshing!! I have experience riding both domestically and internationally, but it's totally fine for first-timers as well. However, if you go on a tour, the time for exploring the North Shore town will be a bit short, which is a little disappointing.

ハワイで乗馬といえば、クアロア・ランチしかないと思っていましたが、ノースの海岸沿いで乗馬できるとは！！（現地の友人も知りませんでした。）
やっぱり爽快です！！　
乗馬は国内外で何度か経験はありましたが、初めての方でも全然大丈夫ですよ。　ツアーの場合はノースの街の散策の時間は短くなるのでその辺はちょっと残念かも。

The tour was fun! Our Drivers gave us information about sites as we drove along! We stopped at the macadamia nut farm and fruit stand!! He gave us options about what was available for us to do! I was with a big group, we chose hiking to the waterfall and kayaking/paddleboarding!! The hike was along a paved road so not much hiking but swimming in a waterfall was worth it!! Make sure you wear water shoes that can tolerate walking on rocks if you get in at the waterfall! And while paddle boarding, I saw a turtle then ate gelato at one of the vendors near the lake!
Overall 9/10 experience!!! Would have loved to have gone to the beach as well but time didn’t permit

This was my second horseback riding experience, but it was my first time along the coast! I started with a mix of excitement and nervousness. Thanks to the kind and attentive trainer and the adorable horse, I ended up having so much fun that I was filled with joy before I knew it. I definitely want to do this again! For those who are unsure about it, this wonderful location for horseback riding will help you forget your everyday fatigue and stress in an instant.

興奮と緊張感満載でスタートしました。
優しくきめ細やかなトレーナーさんと可愛いお馬さんのお陰で楽しくていつの間にかウキウキしながらの体験となりました。

どうしようかな…？と、迷っている方、こんな素晴らしいロケーションでの乗馬体験は、普段の疲れやストレスを一気に忘れさせてくれますよ(^｡^)

It was my first time horseback riding and visiting the North Shore, but I had the best time! The instructions on how to ride were explained in Japanese, which made it very easy to understand, so I was able to enjoy the experience without any worries. The seaside scenery was incredibly beautiful, beyond words. I was so happy to participate.

乗馬もノースショアも初でしたが、最高の時間を過ごすことができました！
乗馬の乗り方も日本語で説明していただきとても分かりやすかったので不安もなく体験することができ、海辺の景色は言葉にならないぐらい素敵でした。参加できて嬉しかったです。

The driver who picked us up was Japanese, and he shared various stories during the bus ride! He asked where in the North we wanted to get off and extended the meeting time based on the situation, which was very thoughtful of him! He also taught us how to ride and dismount the horse, as well as how to change directions, all in Japanese, which was really helpful! Once we arrived at the site, we could use a QR code to watch a YouTube video to confirm how to ride again, which was great!

The staff at the riding area didn't speak our language, but the driver acted as an interpreter, and the staff were cool, kind, and wonderful! It seems that the horses dislike the smell of alcohol, so please be careful about drinking! It really seems like you won't be allowed to ride if you have been drinking. Selfie sticks also seem to be a no-go since the horses dislike them! It's recommended to carry them in a way that hangs around your neck.

The horses were very calm and obedient, so we had a really enjoyable time! Riding along the seaside with the wind in our hair, the view from the horse was amazing! After riding, we were dropped off near our target shop, where we bought and ate some frilly chicken (available only on weekends) and garlic shrimp for lunch. We still had time left, so we were able to explore various shops!

ピックアップしてくれたドライバーさんは日本人の方で、移動のバスの中も色んなお話を聞かせてくれました！
ノースのどこで降りたいか希望を聞いてくれたり、集合時間もその時の状況によって延ばしてくれたりと粋な方でした！
馬への乗り方や降り方、方向変換の仕方も車の中で日本語で教えて頂きとても助かりました！
現場に行けばQRコードでYouTubeを見て乗り方を再度確認できるので助かりました！
乗馬場のお姉さんたちも言葉は分からないけどドライバーさんが通訳してくれたり、お姉さんたちもかっこよく優しく素敵でした！
馬たちはお酒の匂いが嫌いだから飲酒がダメみたいなので気をつけてください！
本当に乗せてもらえないようです。
自撮り棒も馬達が嫌うのでダメなようです！
首から掛けられるようにいて行くのがおすすめです。
馬たちも大人しくいうこと聞いてくれるのでとても楽しい時間を過ごせました！
海辺の風に当たりながら、馬上からの景色は最高です！
乗馬の後に目当てのお店の近くで降ろして貰いお昼ご飯にフリフリチキン（土日のみ）とガーリックシュリンプを買って食べ、それでも時間があったので色んなSHOPを見て回れました！

Despite having no horseback riding experience in Japan, I made a reservation and quickly got used to the very calm and smart horses after about 10 minutes.

The beach has a nice breeze and is cool, but elsewhere, there is direct sunlight and little wind, so it's essential to stay hydrated. I recommend wearing long pants or leggings, and a sleeveless top is fine and just right for the weather.

I also enjoyed the atmosphere in Haleiwa. I think two hours is sufficient for exploring Haleiwa.

国内での乗馬経験が無いにも関わらず予約してしまいましたが、とっても大人しく賢いお馬さんたちで10分ほどすればすぐ慣れました。
浜辺は風が通って涼しいですがそこ以外は日光もあたり風も通らないので必ず水分が必要、洋服は長ズボン又はレギンス、トップスはノースリーブでも危なくないのでちょうど良いと思います。
ハレイワも雰囲気があり楽しめました。ハレイワ散策は2時間ほどあれば十分だと思います。

After visiting the Dole Pineapple Plantation, I went horseback riding on the North Shore. We took a leisurely stroll along the coast on horseback. The horses were calm, making it enjoyable even for beginners.

ドールパイナップル園を訪ねた後に、ノースショアでの乗馬。海沿いを馬に乗りゆっくりと散歩。馬は大人しく初心者でも楽しめました。

This is my ninth time in Hawaii. I chose a tour because I wanted to go horseback riding along the coast. A Japanese guide taught me how to hold the reins and ride. My horse was Maui. She was not only used to customers but also moved exactly as I wanted. It was moving. I was able to spend a relaxing time.

Although my stay at Dole Plantation and Haleiwa was short, it was fulfilling.

ハワイは9回目。海岸を乗馬したくてツアーを選びました。手綱の取り方など運転してる日本人の方に教えてもらい。乗馬。私の馬は、マウイちゃん。客に慣れているのはもちろんですが、ちゃんと思い通りに、動いてくれました。感動。ゆったりした時間を過ごせます。
ドールプランテーションやハレイワ滞在は短いですが、充実してます。

Walking among the ocean, wind, and clear skies on the beach was amazing! The horses didn't smell, and there were few bugs. I'll join again when I come to Hawaii in a few years!

I have experienced horseback riding in other places, but I was able to enjoy it for a longer time here. I was surprised that both horses had children's names. I felt a connection and they were very cute. The refreshing feeling of running by the seaside while feeling the breeze of Hawaii was the best healing time. Thank you very much.

I had experience riding horses in Hawaii, but it was my first time doing it while looking at the ocean, and I participated. The horse was very gentle and walked nicely. The weather was good and hot, but both the sea and the sky were a brilliant blue, making it a great experience! If possible, I would have liked to return to Waikiki in the evening, as I wanted some time to relax in Haleiwa, which was quite busy.

ハワイで乗馬の経験はありましたが、海を見ながらは初めてで、参加しました。
とてもおとなしい馬で、お利口に歩いてくれました。
天気が良くて暑かったけれど、海も空も抜けるような青で、よい経験になりました！
できれば、ワイキキに帰るのは夕方でもいいので、かなり慌しかったハレイワで、ゆっくりできる時間が欲しかったです。

I joined this tour because I wanted to explore the North Shore.

Out of the three options, I chose Waimea Valley, which seemed to offer an experience of Hawaii's plants and nature, and it was a great choice. It felt more like a botanical garden than just nature, with a variety of plants to see, and the paths are paved and very easy to walk on. I hardly saw any Japanese tourists, which is surprising because it's really nice. Also, since you can swim at the waterfall, it might be a good idea to wear a swimsuit under your clothes.

In Haleiwa, I followed the typical tourist route, enjoying garlic shrimp and Matsumoto Shave Ice, and then I strolled along the beach, gazing at the ocean.

The driver and guide was Japanese, and although he wasn't very talkative, he shared a lot of information about Dole and Haleiwa along the way.

ノースショアを見て回りたいということでこのツアーに参加しました。

3つあるオプションのうち、ハワイの植物や自然が体験できそうなワイメア渓谷を選んだのですがこれが大当たりでした。自然というか植物園という感じで、様々な植物を見れますし、道は舗装されていてとても歩きやすいです。日本人は殆ど見かけませんでした。すごくいいのに。
あと滝では泳ぐこともできるので下着として水着を着ていくと良いかも。

ハレイワでは観光客のお定まりのコースですが、ガーリックシュリンプとマツモトシェイブアイスを食べ、てくてく歩いてビーチで海をぼんやり眺めてきました。

運転手兼ガイドさんは日本の方で、口数は多くありませんが途中のドールやハレイワについて色々教えていただきました。

I had a great time leisurely exploring the North store and carefully considering the artwork I couldn't buy due to time constraints. The market was also open, so I took my time browsing there as well. I was able to visit Seven Brothers, which I had wanted to do.

However, I was a bit surprised by the driver's incredible driving. It might be tough for the elderly. I almost bit my tongue while dozing off! (>_<)

ノースのお店をゆっくりみたり、時間がなくて買えなかった絵を吟味したりできて良い時間を過ごせました。
マーケットも開かれていたので、そこでもゆっくり見てまわりました。セブンブラザーズに行きたかったのでそれも実現しました。

ただ、ドライバーさんのすごい運転にはちょっと驚きました。お年寄りには厳しいかもしれないですね。
うとうとしていて、舌噛みそうになりましたので(>_<)

We were The only ones signed up to Haleiwa and they still ran the shuttle. Felt bad for the driver but they held the commitment of our transportation. Driver picked us up on time in both directions and it was a comfortable ride

The horseback riding experience along the beach was very pleasant, and the horses were calm, so I felt safe riding them.

We participated as a couple, and there were five other participants along with two guides. One led the way while the other checked on everyone’s situation and provided support, which was reassuring.

They also take photos at the beach, making for great memories. This is a tour I would like to join again the next time I visit Hawaii.

After horseback riding, you can enjoy a leisurely lunch in Haleiwa and explore the shops, so I highly recommend it.

Every time I visit Northshore, it's always lively, but this time it was particularly vibrant. There were more Americans than Japanese, which was overwhelming. There are plenty of restrooms in the Haleiwa area, which is reassuring. I wished we could have driven to Turtle Bay... it's a bit of a regret. I found a limited edition Patagonia shirt with a Haleiwa logo and ended up buying a lot. The driver was kind, skilled at driving, and a great person. I would like to request them again. Highly recommended!

毎回、Northshoreは訪れるのですが、今回はとても活気がありました。日本人よりアメリカ人ばかりで
圧倒されました。お手洗いもハレイワエリアには
沢山あって、安心です。
タートルベイまで車で行って欲しかったのが…

爆買いしました。

We got no value but a bus greeting us to the town, you can do it in every other way and cheaper, including 3usd public bus. It even doesn't get you to the beach, so you will have to take de public bus to get to the beach either way

The weather was bad with heavy rain, but miraculously, there was a brief break in the clouds during our horseback riding, allowing us to enjoy a ride by the seaside. The course was flat and safe for beginners, with a view of the ocean. I believe we could have enjoyed beautiful scenery if the weather had been nice. We had the classic garlic shrimp from North Shore Tourism in the light rain.

天候が悪く豪雨が続いていましたが、乗馬の時だけ奇跡的に少し晴れ間が見えて楽しく海辺乗馬が出来ました。コースは海の望みながら平坦で初心者でも安心なコースです。天気が良ければ美しいん景色を堪能できたと思います。ノースシュア観光では定番のガーリックシュリンプを小雨の中食べました。

The horses were adorable, the scenery was beautiful, and it was so much fun!!

The horses were very smart and gentle, so I felt no anxiety while riding.

I was told their names, so I tried calling them out a lot ^_^

We took photos with the ocean in the background, which became great memories.

Also, the driver who accompanied us on the tour shared a lot of knowledge about Hawaii while we were in the car, which was really educational.

He talked about the Hawaiian language, Hawaiian plants, recent tourism trends in Hawaii, and the labor shortage, among other things. It was interesting since I don't often have the opportunity to learn about these topics.

For lunch, I wanted to go to Giovanni's for garlic shrimp, but I was taken to a different restaurant. I was a bit disappointed because I wanted to try Giovanni's. Since the horseback riding took a bit longer, we had less time to eat and had to rush.

I think we only had about 30 minutes to explore Haleiwa Town.

However, I was very satisfied with the day because the horseback riding was so enjoyable.

乗馬体験がしたくて申し込みました。

馬が可愛くて、景色も良くて、とーっても楽しかったです！！

馬はとても賢くおとなしく、
乗っていても不安はなかったです。

名前を教えてもらったので、たくさん呼びかけてみました^_^

海を背景に写真も撮ってくれていい思い出となりました。

またツアーについてくれたドライバーさんが、
車の中でハワイの知識を沢山教えてくれてすごく勉強になりました。

ハワイ語についてや、ハワイの植物、最近のハワイ観光事情や、人手不足のことなど、、
なかなか知る機会がないので面白かったです。

お昼に食べたガーリックシュリンプはジョバンニに行きたかったのですが違うお店に連れてってもらいました。ジョバンニを食べてみたかったのでちょっと残念。乗馬も少し時間がおしたせいか、食べる時間が少なく大急ぎで食べました。

ハレイワタウン散策も３０分くらいしかなかったと思います。

ただ乗馬がとても楽しかったので満足な1日でした。

Sightseeing
I was using Uber to get around, but I decided to join a tour for sightseeing in Haleiwa and horseback riding. It turned out to be a great decision. Our guide was Japanese, providing attentive guidance and care that really hit the mark. Thank you, Arai! I wanted to try garlic shrimp in Haleiwa, and I was introduced to a restaurant. It was quite crowded, but thanks to the advance reservation and efficient service, we had plenty of time for sightseeing in Haleiwa. I got a cute Snoopy T-shirt for my grandchild. I do wish I had done a bit more research on Haleiwa beforehand.

Horseback Riding
The horses were very smart. I felt completely at ease; they were so intelligent that I think even kindergarteners could ride them. One downside was the explanation of how to handle the horses for those having lunch. Since the horses are smart, you just need to ride them, but the explanation wasn’t tailored for an elderly lady who didn’t understand English. It was a bit fast-paced! Thanks to our guide Arai, even though I didn’t understand English, I was able to grasp the meaning. It was a local approach of "just get on and get used to it." It wasn’t unpleasant at all, but it did have an American feel to it.

観光
Uberを使いながらの移動をしていましたが、さすがに
ハレイワ観光と乗馬はツアーにしようと考えました。
結果、大正解。
日本人のガイドさんなので、痒いところに手が届くようなガイドと心遣い。
さすがです。アライさん、ありがとう！
ハレイワでガーリックシュリンプを食べたくて、お店を紹介してもらいました。
さすがに大混雑なのですが、前もっての予約と手際良さで、ハレイワの観光時間が十分に取れました。
可愛いスヌーピーのTシャツを孫にゲット。
もう少し、自分でハレイワの下調べをしておけば良かったとは思います。

乗馬
賢い馬さん。なんの心配も入りません。幼稚園児でも乗馬できるのではないかと思うくらいの賢い馬でした。
一つ残念なのは、ランチの方々の馬の扱い方の説明。馬が賢いので、ただ、乗馬してれば、いいのですが、英語がわからないおばさんに対する説明ではありませんでした。早口でした！
そこもガイドのアライさんのおかげで、英語わからずですが、意味が理解できました。「乗って慣れろ」方式の現地の方でした。
決して不快ではないのですが、アメリカン的な感じです。

楽しい1日を過ごせました。

The plan included a visit to the Dole Plantation, horseback riding, and sightseeing in Haleiwa. I thought the guide would just pick us up right near our hotel and take us by car, but instead, they shared a lot of history and local stories about Hawaii that we wouldn't have known otherwise. Honestly, it was worth the participation fee just for that.

At Dole, we had a short 30-minute visit, but I was able to shop and found unique items that aren't sold in Japan, which really excited me. The main horse experience was truly amazing. The waves at the North Shore looked like a painting. I was moved to think that such a beautiful place exists in this world.

Unfortunately, the horseback riding experience ran over time, so our sightseeing in Haleiwa was quite short, which was disappointing. However, I was able to enjoy delicious gelato and leisurely explore some cute shops, which was nice. I would love to take my time to explore more next time.

I had assumed that garlic shrimp was included in the course, so I was a bit disappointed to find out it was a separate course, but it was still so much fun that I would definitely do it again.

It was a day filled with awe in a world where there is still so much I don't know. Thank you, guide!

Doleプランテーション、乗馬、ハレイワ観光のプランでした。
泊まってるホテルのすぐ近くまでガイドさんが迎えに来てくれてそのまま車で送迎するのだけかと思いきや、この車に乗らないと知り得ることのできないハワイの歴史や現地の話をたくさん聞かせてくれました。もぉ、ここまでで参加費の価値あり。
Doleでは30分と言う短い時間でしたが買い物もでき、日本では売ってない雑貨と出会いテンション上がりました。
メインのお馬さんは本当に最高でした。
ノースショアの波は絵に描いたよう。この世にこんな美しい場所があるなんて…と感動でした。
乗馬体験がおしてしまったのもあったのでハレイワ観光の時間がとても短く残念でしたが、美味しいジェラート頂きながらゆっくり出来たし、かわいい雑貨店巡りもできてよかった。
次はゆっくり見てみたい。

ガーリックシュリンプがコースの中に含まれていると思い込んでいたので別コースだと知ってちょっとがっかりだだたけど、全然！！！それ以上に楽しかったからまたの機会に。


まだまだ自分の知らないことがたくさんある世界にただただ感動の1日でした。

Our guide was prompt, courteous, and highly accommodating.

I was looking forward to horseback riding and shopping in North Shore, but unfortunately, the weather turned bad, and I had to cancel the horseback riding. The roads became like rivers, so I ended up spending about three hours in a café. I definitely want to try again next time!

残念ながら、天候が崩れ、乗馬はキャンセル、お店回りも道路が川のようになり3時間ほど一つのカフェで過ごす羽目に(:_;)

The weather was wonderful, and it was a horseback riding experience while looking at the beautiful cobalt blue sea. I'm glad I was able to spend such a lovely time. I think it would have been even better if I had a little more time in Haleiwa Town.

I found this tour when I was thinking about going to Haleiwa to eat garlic shrimp. I had also wanted to try horseback riding for a while, and riding by the beach sounded wonderful, so I signed up.

Kaz, our Japanese guide, cheerfully talked to us during the drive and introduced the scenery we saw from the car window. The other members of the tour were all nice people, and when they heard it was our honeymoon, they applauded. The horse I rode was a bit mischievous and kept moving forward, which was scary at first, but I got used to it and had a great time. There were two instructors who closely watched over us, which made me feel safe. They also took a lot of pictures along the way!

After returning to Haleiwa, we went to the garlic shrimp food truck recommended by Kaz. Thanks to him making a phone call, we were able to enjoy delicious garlic shrimp without having to wait. This gave us extra time to visit Matsumoto Shave Ice and enjoy some shops. On the way back, instead of just dropping us off at the meeting point, they took us close to our hotel. It became a wonderful memory. Thank you very much!

ハレイワに行ってガーリックシュリンプを食べたいなぁと思っていた時に見つけたこちらのツアー。乗馬もしてみたいなと以前から思っており、海辺で乗馬なんて素敵！と思い申し込みました。
日本語ガイドのカズさんは行きの車内で明るくお話して下さり、車窓からの景色の紹介をしてくださいました。ツアーに参加されたメンバーの方も良い方ばかりで、ハネムーンというと拍手して下さいました。乗馬はやんちゃなお馬さんだったのか前へ前へと進んで最初は怖かったのですが、途中から慣れて楽しく過ごせました。インストラクターの方も2人ついてきちんとみて下さるので安心でした。途中写真も沢山撮ってくださいました！ハレイワに戻ってからはカズさんお勧めのガーリックシュリンプのフードトラックへ。電話をかけて下さっていたおかげで美味しいガーリックシュリンプを待たずに食べられました。そのおかげで時間も余裕ができ、マツモトシェイブアイスにも行け、雑貨屋さんなども楽しめました。帰りは集合場所でなく、ホテルの近くまでそれぞれ送ってくださいました。素敵な思い出となりました。ありがとうございました！

The driver explained how to ride in Japanese during the car ride to the horseback riding location. After arriving, we were able to ride the horses one by one, and another guide accompanied us from the side and behind during the walk, helping us when we stopped. It was my first time riding a horse, and the weather was nice, with the sea looking very beautiful, which was incredibly soothing. However, my horse didn't seem to get along well with me, as it stopped and wouldn't move several times, causing the people behind me to wait quite a bit. Overall, I had a very valuable experience this time, which became a great memory.

乗馬迄の車の中で運転手さんが日本語で乗り方を説明してくれました。到着後は順番に馬に乗ることが出来、散歩途中も横や後ろから別のガイドさんが着いてきてくれて立ち止まったりした時に誘導もしてくれました。初めての乗馬でしたが、お天気も良く海もとても綺麗で凄く癒されました。ただ馬との相性があまり良くなかったのか、何度も立ち止まり動かなくなってしまう子だったので後ろの人を凄い待たせてしまう事も多かったです。今回とても貴重な経験が出来たので良い思い出となりました。

I was able to tour the North Shore for just over three hours, and it was really great. However, since I was participating alone, I felt some frustration with the driver's attitude and strong tone from the beginning.

3時間ちょっとノースショアを観光が出来て凄く良かったです。
ただひとりでの参加ということもあるかもしれませんが、始めからドライバーの方の態度や強い言い方にこちらも苛立ちを感じました。

It was amazing to spend time with them in nature! I was so happy! I have experience with horses, but it was my foreign husband's first time, and he said he had a lot of fun. I want to go again!

自然の中で彼らと過ごせて最高に！幸せでした！
私は馬歴はありますが外国人旦那さんは初めての体験でしたが
とっても楽しかったそうです。また行きたいなー
