Fantastisk oplevelse. Vi prøvede også for 18 år siden. Grunden til kun 4 stjerner er, at der er for kort tid til at opleve det hele. Vi kom sent derop pga vejarbejde (men havde en fantastisk chauffør), så show på vandet er godt igang og alle pladser optaget.
Der var flere rækker tomme sæder ved det store aftenshow. Hvorfor ikke lade andre sidde der, så de ser bedre?

Our guide Lola was very friendly, and it was the best tour! Since it was an English-only tour, we were a bit worried about our ability to keep up with just everyday conversation. However, Lola, although she hardly spoke any Japanese, spoke slowly and clearly, making it easy to understand, and we had a great conversation.

She also guided us through the buildings and areas along the way, which was fun.

I thought Dole might be somewhat underwhelming, but it was actually very spacious and we enjoyed it a lot. The souvenir section is really large. Haleiwa had a completely different atmosphere from Waikiki, which was refreshing. There were so many places to eat that it was hard to choose, but the garlic shrimp was very delicious. We gave up on the long lines for shave ice and huli huli chicken. Instead, we went to Ali Beach and were thrilled to encounter a honu drying its shell!

英語のみのツアーということで、日常会話程度ならなんとか…というレベルの我々は大丈夫かなと少し心配しながら参加しました。
しかし、確かにLolaは日本語はほとんど喋れないものの、ゆっくり聞き取りやすく話してくれて、会話も弾みました。
また、道中の建物やエリアなどもガイドしてくれて楽しかったです。

ドールは、なんとなくショボいのかなと思っていましたが、とても広く十分楽しめました。
お土産コーナーがすごく広いです。
ハレイワは、ワイキキとは全く違う雰囲気で新鮮でした。
食べる所が多く選ぶのに困りましたが、ガーリックシュリンプとても美味しかったです。
シェイブアイス、フリフリチキンは列が長かったので断念。
代わりにアリビーチまで行ってみたところ、甲羅乾かしているホヌに出会えて感動しました！

I had some concerns about the reservation in Japan, but I received communication via LINE, and even though I arrived earlier than the meeting time on the day of the tour, the bus came early, leading to an earlier departure. I had an absolutely amazing experience. The person who flew with me was wonderful, providing explanations in Japanese here and there and easing my nerves with their warm support. Additionally, they took many photos, which was another highlight for me. The view of Diamond Head and Waikiki from the sky was truly breathtaking and has become an unforgettable memory for a lifetime.

However, thanks to our cheerful and fun tour guide and driver, Patrick, we had a wonderful time. He helped us purchase tickets for the Dole Plantation, and we were able to enter smoothly. We participated with our children aged 9, 11, and 13 at their request. Even my 9-year-old daughter, who is 120 cm tall, was able to ride alone. We received instructions on how to handle the reins and how to ride. Our guide, Kaz, accompanied us to the riding location and helped with everything from check-in to translation, which was a great help. He taught us how to ride during the transfer, and even though it was everyone's first time riding, we had a lot of fun. I can't speak any English, but having Kaz made me feel very secure. The staff at the riding location were not very impressive; they seemed to be new and a bit inexperienced. It felt like the tip was paid not for the staff, but for the smart horses. Since the tour was focused on horseback riding, we didn't plan for any exploration and just enjoyed a relaxed time.

We enjoyed learning about the different cultures. The best one was Samoa. The chief had us laughing the entire time. We even bought his paintings afterwards and he signed them. The buffet dinner was amazing. I recommend getting a tour guide as they can give you more information and take you through all the villages quicker.

Once you buy a ticket, you can enter for three days!
Indeed, with such a wealth of experiences, it seems like it would take three days to fully enjoy everything.
Understanding the schedules for experiences and shows can be overwhelming for first-timers, so I recommend paying the additional fee for a guide; otherwise, it would be hard to enjoy efficiently and you might feel lost! I definitely recommend getting a guide!

The staff is mostly university students from the adjacent campus, creating a lively and pleasant atmosphere.
The guide who assisted us was great at explaining in Japanese, and thanks to them, we had a fantastic time! ✨

All the shows and experiences were fun!
With a ticket, you can enjoy everything for free except for meals and the fire show.
If you have kids, I think it's an incredibly fun place.
