At first, I was worried because there was no pick-up for over 10 minutes. However, once I boarded safely, it was about a one-hour journey to the North.

I was amazed by the size and facilities of the place. I was surprised to find such a magnificent facility with staff located quite far from Honolulu. I'm also grateful that a Japanese university student attended to us.

I was able to enjoy a leisurely horseback ride. I was especially grateful for the good weather. It would have been tough if it had rained...

The city exploration is free, so it might be better to plan your own itinerary to some extent. I personally value being able to ride along the coast, so it was great for me, but I would say it might not be an experience I could recommend to everyone, as it may not suit all tastes.

街の散策はフリーなので、ある程度自分でプランを立てて参加したほうがいいかもしれせん。
私は海岸沿いを乗馬出来る事に価値を感じているのでいいのですが、全ての方におすすめ出来るかというと、人を選ぶ体験であると言えるかもしれません。

I had signed up for a clear kayak and snorkeling experience, but due to the possibility of rain, I was given the option to cancel at the last minute or switch to a regular kayak. Since I had already arranged a rental car from Waikiki to Haleiwa and everything was planned, I couldn't cancel. As a result, I ended up with just the regular kayak for two hours, which was quite boring. In the end, the weather improved on the day, and it didn't rain, plus the waves weren't high, but I still couldn't do the clear kayak and snorkeling.

Additionally, I received a text the day before asking me to look for a white truck, and since the company operated with just one truck, there was no office building at the meeting point. The way it was described during the booking made it seem like there would be a building, which caused quite a bit of confusion. I was told that if I came in the summer, I could do the clear kayak and snorkeling, but I wanted to combine it with the Honolulu Marathon, so I came in the winter. If it says that clear kayaking and snorkeling are available, I really hoped they would do their best to provide those activities.

申し込んだクリアカヤックとシュノーケリングが出来ず、雨が降るかもということで直前にキャンセルするかレギュラーカヤックにするかの選択肢を出され、ワイキキからハレイワへのレンタルカーも用意してすべて計画済の後だったのでキャンセルするわけにもいかず、クリアカヤックとシュノーケリングの料金でレギュラーカヤックだけとなりそれが2時間で退屈なものとなった。結局当日天気は持ち直し雨も降らず波も高くなかったがクリアカヤックとシュノーケリングはしてもらえなかった。また前日にショートメールが来て白いトラックを探してくれということで、トラック1台で運用してる会社だったので、集合場所に事務所的な建物はなく、申込時は建物があるような書き方だったので、かなり混乱すると思います。夏に来ればクリアカヤックとシュノーケリングが出来るのにと言われたが、ホノルルマラソンと合わせたかったので冬に来たが、クリアカヤックとシュノーケリングが出来ると書くのであれば、極力クリアカヤックとシュノーケリングを実施してほしかった。

Although my stay was short, the Japanese guide provided a thorough tour without wasting any time. It was very helpful and enjoyable. Without the guide, I probably would have wandered around the vast grounds without understanding anything. The buffet had an incredible variety and the food was very delicious. The main show featured more intense dance performances, resembling a musical rather than relaxed dancing, which was unexpected but fantastic. The location is far from Waikiki, but it was definitely worth the trip!

短時間での滞在でしたが、日本人のガイドさんが無駄な時間を作らないようにきっちりガイドしてくださいました。とても助かりましたし楽しかったです。たぶんガイドがなかったら広い敷地内をぼーっとして何もわからず終わってました。バイキングはものすごい種類豊富で味もとても美味しかったです。メインのショーはゆるりとしたダンスというよりはミュージカルのような激しめのダンスが多く予想外でしたが素晴らしかったです。場所はワイキキから遠いけど行く価値はありました！

I was able to take a wonderful walk along the beach this morning on a very calm and intelligent horse! The height of the view was also fantastic.

We had a great time. All the performances at the islands were perfect. The food was good, but next time we will try to get there earlier so that the line isn’t as long. Ha was stunningly beautiful!

We were blessed with great weather, and I was guided to some wonderful photo spots, making for very nice memories. The driver shared various information along the way, which was very helpful.

I wanted to enjoy Matsumoto Shave Ice and Huli Huli Chicken in Haleiwa, so I opted for the 3-hour stay course. On the way there, we didn't have much time to relax at the Dole Presentation, but we managed to buy some limited edition items and eat ice cream before heading to Haleiwa. We were able to visit all the places we aimed for, and the weather was so nice that I felt three hours wasn't enough! It was a fulfilling tour.

I think you can either join a tour or drive a rental car to Haleiwa, but I wasn't in the mood to drive, so joining the tour was the right choice! Since it was after Thanksgiving, the roads were clear, and we didn't get stuck in traffic, allowing us to enjoy the day without stress.

ハレイワでマツモトシェイブアイスやフリフリチキンを楽しみたかったので3時間滞在コースにしました。
行きの途中で寄るドールプレゼンテーションはあまりゆっくりしている暇がありませんでしたが限定品を買ったりアイスを食べハレイワへ。目的の場所はすべて行けた上に天気も良く３時間じゃ足りない！と思えるほど充実のツアーでした。
ハレイワまではツアーに参加するかレンタカーを自分で運転するかになるかと思いますが車を運転する気にはなれずツアーに参加して正解でした！感謝祭後ということもあり道も空いていて渋滞にもはまらずストレスなく過ごせました。

My friends and I had a great time during this luau! There were a lot of activities to learn traditional manners of cooking, delicious food to eat, and an outstanding show with dance from all the Polynesian islands. I would truly recommend this experience to everyone! Everyone that worked there was very personable as well. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to actually explore the valley but I heard great things about that. I would definitely leave time before to go to the waterfall.

This is my second time using the tour company. The driver, Massan, was quiet on the way to Haleiwa, but during the mini tour, he really showed his true colors and provided a fun time. He even came out and said, "Actually, I made this song." It turned out that the song that had been playing in the car since the beginning of the trip was selected from Massan's original album. That was another interesting episode and made it enjoyable. Thank you very much.

ドライバーのmassanは往路こそ物静かにハレイワまで連れて行ってくれましたが、ミニツアーでは、本領を発揮して楽しい時間を提供してくれました。

My first skydiving experience was amazing, as I got to enjoy the breathtaking views of Hawaii from the sky!

I felt no fear at all and was able to fly while being healed by the beautiful sea, sky, and islands of Hawaii, along with the pleasant breeze. There were many Japanese participants, and since we supported each other with any uncertainties, I didn't have to worry about the language barrier.

On the day of the jump, I had the option to choose a higher altitude for the dive when making the payment. After jumping, we descended slowly with the parachute, giving us more floating time than I had imagined, allowing us to thoroughly enjoy the scenery. However, jumping from a higher altitude seems like it would provide an even more exhilarating experience!

I definitely want to try skydiving again!

人生初のスカイダイビング、ハワイの絶景を空から満喫できて最高でした！

恐怖感は一切なく、美しい海と空とハワイの島、心地良い風に癒されながら飛ぶことができました。
日本人の参加者が多く、わからない部分は参加者同士でサポートしてもらいながら準備できたので言語の心配はありませんでした。

当日支払い時にもオプションで飛ぶ高度を上げるか選べました。
飛んでからゆっくりパラシュートで降りていくので、浮遊時間は想像以上よりは長く、じっくり景色を楽しむ事ができますが、高い方がより爽快感が味わえそうです！

ぜひまたスカイダイビングに挑戦したいです！

The friendly and knowledgeable driver, who seemed to be an experienced person from Dole, drove the trolley through the vast pineapple plantation while providing detailed explanations to the participants, allowing us to enjoy the pineapple fields with peace of mind. The farm was incredibly expansive, unimaginable in Japan (about 180 Tokyo Domes?), and I learned that the workers spend all day bending over to plant 5,000 pineapple tops, realizing the tremendous effort that goes into producing such delicious fruit. At the shop, we were able to taste freshly harvested pineapples and received a whole pineapple as a souvenir, which added to our enjoyment after returning to the hotel. After the farm tour, we had lunch at a popular garlic shrimp restaurant in the center of Haleiwa, and in the afternoon, we visited the turtle rock for power sports and a soap factory that was featured on Japanese television. On the way back, the driver listened to the participants' wishes and took us to the highest parking lot on Tantalus Hill, where we enjoyed a panoramic view of Oahu. The tour was filled with new discoveries, making for a memorable day.

親切で情報知識が豊富な運転手さんはDoleの会社の人のように手慣れた感じで広大なパイナップル農園を見学用のトロリーを運転しながら参加者に細かく説明してくれるので安心してパイナップル畑を楽しむことができました。農園は日本では考えられないくらい広大で(東京ドーム180(個分)？)畑で働く人々は1日中腰を屈めて5000個のパイナップルの種(パイナップルのアタマ)を植え付けしていると聞き美味しい果物をいただく裏には大変なご苦労があることを知ることがてきました。売店で採れたてのパイナップルの試食と、まるまる1個のお土産をいただくことができ、ホテルに戻ってからの
楽しみができました。農園見学後はハレイワの中心地にあるガーリックシュリンプの人気店で昼食をして、午後からはパワースポートの亀の岩や日本のテレビでも紹介された石鹸工場を見学しました。帰りは参加者の希望を聞いていただき、タンタラスの丘のいつもは行かない一番高い所の駐車場でオアフ島のパノラマを楽しみました。ツアーは新しい発見もあり思い出深い1日を過ごすことができました。

I have a fear of heights, so I was really nervous when I got on the Cessna and went up into the sky. When it was time to jump, the instructor encouraged me, and before I knew it, I was flying! The view was amazing, absolutely the best!

It's a good idea to take motion sickness medication beforehand, as some people did get sick. As for the instructors, it seems like there can be a mix. We participated as a pair, and one instructor took a lot of photos and was very encouraging, while the other one was a bit cold, haha.

高所死恐怖症もあり、セスナに乗って上空まで行く時はドキドキでした。
飛び降りる時はインストラクターさんがすすめてくれるので気づいたら飛んでいました！
眺めも良く最高ですよ！！！
酔い止めは飲んでおいた方が無難です。酔ってる方もおられました。
インストラクターさんは当たり外れがあるかな。2人で参加しましたが、片方は写真をたくさん撮ってくれたり声をかけたりしてくれる方で、もう1人は塩対応でした笑

I had a really fun time and I'm glad I participated! The driver spoke both Japanese and English, and was so cheerful and great at conversation that I never got bored. Since everyone gathered quickly, we were able to visit more landmarks in the city than usual, and I was happy that they also provided donuts and water, showing a lot of consideration.

This is a theme park where you can see and experience the culture and shows of the Polynesian islands. I participated in an afternoon tour to see the evening show. The local Japanese student guide provided a clear explanation of the Polynesian countries, which was very educational.

The buffet had a wide variety of dishes and was easy to enjoy. The evening show lived up to its reputation, featuring a grand and impressive performance with a storyline, and the dancing was wonderful and moving. I would love to see it again. Next time, I want to go on a tour that departs in the morning so I can take my time exploring.

ポリネシアの島々の文化やショーを見たり体験できるテーマパークです。イブニングショー目当てに午後からのツアーに参加しました。
日本人現地学生ガイドさんにポリネシアの国々を分かりやすく説明いただき大変勉強になりました。
ビッフェも沢山の種類があり食べやすかったです。
イブニングショーは評判通り、ストーリー性のある壮大で圧巻な演出、ダンスも素晴らしく感動的なショーでした。また観たいと思いました。今度は午前中出発のゆっくり回れるツアーで行きたいです。

I feel like our time staying in the North Shore would've felt incomplete if not for getting to explore it with Aina, our personal local! We saw gorgeous places we likely never would've seen on our own, learned a surprising amount about O'ahu's history and culture in a casual way, got more familiar with the town and even returned to places on our own, enjoyed greeting Aina's friends and family along the way, got some great recommendations on where to eat, and that's just off the top of my head! Aina was very easy to be around, and his tour was a highlight of our stay. Mahalo!

I had always wanted to try horseback riding, but I never had the opportunity until now. I was a bit anxious because the riding instructor only spoke English. However, I felt reassured thanks to the Japanese video explanations and the driver’s guidance on how to operate everything.

I realized just how cute horses can be. My horse was smart and responded well to my handling of the reins. There were some horses that seemed a bit more free-spirited, and I noticed some people had a bit of trouble with them.

Riding while looking at the refreshing blue sea and sky became an unforgettable memory. Since we were just walking slowly in a line, it might be a bit lacking for intermediate riders.

ずっとやりたかったのですが機会がなくて初めての乗馬体験、乗馬のインストラクターは英語のみで不安でした。でも、日本語の動画説明やドライバーさんのお話やらで操作などが分かり安心しました。
馬ってこんなに可愛いもんなんだと思いました。私の馬はお利口で、私の手綱さばきにも素直でした。中には少し自由奔放な馬もいたみたいで、苦労されていた方もいました。
爽やかな青い海と空を見ながらの乗馬は忘れられない思い出になりました。
ゆっくり並んで歩くだけなので、中級者の方には物足りないかもしれません。

Over 100 performers showcase songs and dances in a storytelling format. I've seen various luau shows, but this one is completely theatrical. Fortunately, I was seated in the front row, and I could feel the heat from the fire show, which was incredibly powerful.

Before the show starts, a Japanese guide takes you around the vast Polynesian Center, which was truly appreciated. For first-time visitors, it's easy to get lost and confused about where everything is.

100人以上の演者が物語形式で歌や踊りを披露します。ルアウショーは色々と見ましたが、こちらは完全に演劇です。幸運にも一番前の席に座れて、ファイアーショーの火の熱まで伝わって来てすごい迫力でした。

ショーが始まる前に広大なポリネシアセンターを日本人のガイドさんが回ってくれるのですが、これが本当にありがたかったです。初めて訪れる人はどこに何があるか掴めずグダグダになること間違いないです。

I have visited Haleiwa several times, but I wanted to go to Waimea Valley, so I joined this tour. I was also satisfied to see Pohakuloa on the mini tour.

However, there was one issue: the schedule stated that we would leave Waimea Valley at 11:00 AM and arrive in Haleiwa around 11:30 AM, with the mini tour departing at 12:30 PM. I had hoped to eat garlic shrimp during that time, but the actual departure from Waimea was at 11:30 AM, leaving us with only 30 minutes in Haleiwa. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat anything there, which was disappointing. Since I planned my participation in advance, I would like the schedule to be followed properly.

ハレイワには何度か来ましたが、ワイメア渓谷に行ってみたかったのでこちらのツアーに参加しました。ついでにミニツアーでポハクラナイを見ることができて満足です。
ただ一点、予定では11時にワイメア渓谷を出発して11時半頃ハレイワに到着、ミニツアー出発は12時半とあったのでその間にガーリックシュリンプを食べたいと思っていたのですが、実際のワイメア出発時間は11時半でハレイワ滞在時間は30分しかなく、結局現地では何も食べることができず残念な思いをしました。こちらは事前に予定を組んで参加しているのでスケジュールはちゃんと守ってほしいです。

I was looking for a place I had never been to and a tour I had never experienced before, and I found this tour. I have been to the Dole Plantation many times, but this was the first time I learned that you can take a factory tour right across the street.

On the day of the tour, it had rained the night before, so the ground was nicely damp, which was great. Our guide, Nori, took photos at various locations and also took us to sightseeing spots other than Haleiwa Town. I think it was because there were only a few participants that he was able to accommodate our requests.

今までに行ったことのない場所、経験したことの無いツアーを探していて、本ツアーを見つけました。ドールプランテーションには何度も行っていますが、向かい側で工場見学ができることを今回初めて知りました。
ツアー当日は、前夜に雨が降ってことで地面の土がほどよく湿っていて良かったです。
ガイドのノリさんは、場所場所で写真を撮ってくださり、ハレイワタウン以外にも観光名所に連れて行ってくれました。参加者が少人数だったのでリクエストに応えてくれたのだと思います。

This is my second time using this service. I will arrive in Haleiwa before 9 AM. It took a little time to get through the busy downtown area on the way there due to heavy traffic. The route may change depending on the driver and traffic conditions. We have five hours on-site, but if you enjoy shopping, that might not be enough time. The main area from around Giovanni's Shrimp Truck to Surf N Sea is walkable. I gave the driver a tip for both the outbound and return trips, but I didn't see many other people doing the same.

今回2回目の利用です。ハレイワには9時前に着きます。
行きの中心部を抜けるのは交通量の多さから少し時間掛かりました。
運転手や交通量により、ルートは変わるかも知れません。
現地5時間ですが、ショッピング多い人は足りないかも知れません。メイン南北(ジェニーズのガーリックシュリンプ辺りからsurfnsea辺りまで)
は徒歩で可能です。
運転手さんには行き帰りでそれぞれChipを渡しましたが、他の方は余り渡している様子は見られませんでした。

I was able to visit all the places I wanted in Haleiwa in just five hours. Participating in the mini-tour was great, and the guide was very kind. The fact that the tour included a stop at Pōhakuloa was the deciding factor for me to choose this tour. During our free time, I enjoyed Giovanni's garlic shrimp and coffee at the North Shore Marketplace, which were delicious. It was also fun to watch the surfers riding the big waves at Haleiwa Beach. Overall, it was a very satisfying tour.

ハレイワでの5時間で行きたいところに行けました。
ミニーツアーに参加出来て案内も親切でした。
ポハク・ラナイがミニーツアーで入っていたのが決め手でのこのツアーにしたので。
自由時間にジョバンニのガーリックシュリンプ、ノースシェアマーケットプレイスでのコーヒーが美味しかったです。
ハレイワ海岸でビッグウェーブでサーフィンしてる人たちを見てるのも楽しかったです。
大満足のツアーでした。

Our instructor was patient, knowledgeable, and made the lesson fun for everyone in our group!

It was quite difficult to go on our own, so we decided to join a tour. There was a good amount of free time, and we strolled around the city while asking our driver for recommendations on places to visit. We were very lucky to see sea turtles swimming at Haleiwa Beach. The garlic shrimp was plump and very delicious. It was a great town with a different atmosphere from the city center, and you could really feel the local vibe. I definitely want to visit again if I have the chance.

自分たちで行くには大変なのでツアーにしました。自由時間も程よく、ドライバーさんにオススメの場所など聞きながら街を散策しました。ハレイワビーチではウミガメが泳いでいるのも見れてとても幸運でした。
ガーリックシュリンプのエビがプリップリでとても美味しかったです。
中心地とは違う雰囲気で生活感が感じられるとてもいい街でした。機会があればまたぜひ訪れたいと思います。

After getting off the bus, I wasn't sure what to do, but when I showed the voucher on my smartphone at the ticket center, they issued me a paper ticket✋. This took away half of my anxiety, and the other half was about finding the Japanese guide. I managed to find where the guide was, and I met a wonderful volunteer guide (NENE), and it was amazing!!

Her service and hospitality were top-notch (laughs)👍. I want to come back and see her again!

バスを降りてからとりあえずどうすれば良いか分からず、スマホのバウチャーをチケットセンターに見せると、紙のチケットを発行してくれました✋
これで不安は半分無くなりまして、あと半分は日本語ガイドさんを探すこと。何とかガイドさんが居る場所を見つけて、素晴らしボランティアガイドさん(NENEさん)に巡りあって、最高でしたー！！
気付いも、接客も営業も(笑)最高👍
また会いに着たくなりました！
