I didn't attend this one myself, but my husband and his friend
went together. We girls didn't want to be gone that long, but
the guys enjoyed it immensely.
It goes without saying - that type tour is very touching and
extremely informative. It's great for history buffs. Reminds us
just how quickly something like that can happen to our country.

We were picked up on schedule, the bus driver was excellent -
very informative - even telling us not to jay walk because
Honolulu accessed a $92 fine for doing so.
We had an excellent narration the entire time we were on the
bus and, it goes without saying, the Memorial is well worth
going to see. Very touching.
He returned us to our point of origin as scheduled.

The Arizona Memorial Tour was far more then I expected. I think everyone should visit the memorial at least once, and then again any time their patriotism fades. To see first hand the devastation of the ship and realize that there are hundreds of men entombed there is a real eye opener. Our guide was friendly and informative. I would suggest paying the $5 at the memorial for the audio tour, we didn't, and I feel we missed out on some of the reality. The museum is phenomenal and you really need to take your time through it. It's a great tour, but I would like to have spent more time there.

This a very moving experience, having a father who was in the armed services during WWII and mother who worked at Hunters Point, San Francisco. I just found out she was on the USS Missouri to deliver papers just prior it leaving San Francisco on its trip to the Midway for the siging of the peace treaty with the Japanese. It is a history lesson for all, adults and children to know in order not to repeat history. The tour guide was excellent, he had a vast knowledge of history of Pearl Harbor, the Arizona and the other ships lost that fateful day. Being form Aeia, he also had avast knowledge of the Hawaiian history as well. Excellent time.
