The show at the Polynesian Cultural Center is top-notch and excellent. University students work as staff, and everyone is passionately involved, creating a wonderful atmosphere throughout the facility. It was great to experience the cultures of various Polynesian islands all at once.

I participated in a plan that included a dinner show centered around Hawaiian hula during the Luau Workshop, which lasts for an hour. This is the only course where you can enjoy a show while having dinner. They showcase Polynesian cooking methods that you won't see anywhere else, including the imu (whole roasted pig). However, I couldn't eat the roasted pig. I wonder where it went after it was cooked. I assume it went to the dining area for those with higher-tier plans.

Afterward, the authentic show features a fantastic story called “‘Hā’ Breath of Life” night show. Fathers who are dedicated to parenting will surely be moved by this show. I was very touched. The Hawaiian show emphasizes storytelling. However, I think I should have participated in a plan with better food than the Luau Workshop. I highly recommend visiting the Polynesian Cultural Center.

ポリネシア文化センターのショーはトップクラスで良いです。大学の学生の方がスタッフとして勤務されていますが皆さん情熱的に携わっていてここの施設全体がとてもいい雰囲気で包まれています。各ポリネシアの文化を一度に触れられてとても良かったです。「ルアウワークショップのプランのみ食事の際にハワイのフラダンスを中心に繰り広げられる１時間のディナーショーを楽しめます。全コース中で唯一、ディナーを食べながらショーをご覧頂けます。他では見られないポリネシアの調理方法、イム（豚の丸焼き）を公開。」というものに参加しましたがこの豚の丸焼きは食べることができません。焼かれた後どこに行ったのでしょう。きっともっと上位プランの方の食事の所へ行ったのだと思います。本格的なショーはその後すばらしいストーリー性のある“‘ハァ’ブレス・オブ・ライフ”ナイトショーが見れます。子育てに一所懸命な父親の方はこのショーはきっと感動するとおもいます。私はとても感動しました。ハワイアンショーはストーリー性が大事ですね。ただルアウワークショップよりお食事の良いプランに参加したほうが良かったかなと思います。ポリネシア文化センターはぜひ行って見てください。

I participated in a tour to watch the evening show that started in the afternoon.

Since it was quite far from Waikiki, I thought I could catch up on some sleep during the ride. However, the woman in charge provided interesting explanations about things we saw from the bus window, shared stories related to them, and talked about her own experiences, which were all very engaging, and I couldn't sleep at all.

Following her advice, I had dinner at the buffet right after we arrived, allowing me to enjoy my meal without overlapping with those who had arrived earlier for dinner. (Since the bus arrived relatively smoothly, I couldn't participate in the program, but I was able to take a leisurely walk around the park after eating.)

The show featured various dances and costumes that followed a storyline, and I felt it was worth participating in this tour.

Next time I go to Hawaii, I would like to join a daytime program and also try taking photos in Polynesian costumes that were near the show venue.

午後集合の夜のショーを観るツアーに参加しました。

ワイキキからかなり離れた場所にあるため、車中では睡眠がとれる！と考えていましたが、
担当してくださった女性の方が道中、車窓から目についたものの説明やそれに関する話、ご自身の話などをしてくださったのが、たいへん興味深くおもしろく、一睡もできませんでした。

その方のアドバイス通り、到着後すぐにディナーバイキングで食事をとったため、昼から来ていた方たちの夕食時に重ならずに、ゆっくりと食事することができました。
（バスが比較的スムーズに到着したため、プログラムに参加することは無理でしたが、食後に園内をぐるっと歩いて一周することができました。）

ショーは、ストーリーにそっていろいろな踊り、衣装を見ることができ、このツアーに参加してよかったと思いました。

次にまたハワイに行くときは、昼間のプログラムにも参加してみたいのと、あとショー会場近くにあったポリネシアの衣装を着て写真を撮るのをやってみたいです。

I joined in the afternoon, but I wish I had participated a bit earlier because it was so much fun. The show had a storyline, and even though I didn't understand the English, I still enjoyed it. The only disappointment was the food... There was Japanese food, but it was a bit different from the taste of Japan... However, since we were in Hawaii, the cheerful atmosphere made it all okay! I attended with my family, and everyone was satisfied. I heard that the content of the show changes next time, so I would like to participate again.

午後から参加しましたが、もう少し早い時間から参加すれば良かったと思うぐらいに楽しかったです。
ショーもストーリがあり英語がわからなくても楽しめました。
残念だったのはやはり食事・・・日本食もあったのですが少し日本の味とは違う・・・でもハワイですからうきうき感でこれもよし！！です。
家族で参加しましたが、みんな満足していました。
次回はショーの内容も違うということで、また参加したいと思います。

I have been to Hawaii dozens of times, but this was my first time participating. The food was just okay, but the show was wonderful. My friends who were on their first trip to Hawaii were also very impressed. Thank you very much.

ハワイには、数十回と行っていますが、初めての参加でした。食事はまあまあと言うところでしたが、ショーは素晴らしかったです。初めてのハワイ旅行の友人ご夫妻も、大感激でした。ありがとうございました。

Honestly, I was not satisfied with the food. It's not that it was particularly bad, but it wasn't delicious either.
There were many mistakes in the show as well, so it wasn't perfect.
However, you can clearly see that it's not just Waikiki in Oahu, Hawaii, but also the old town and the not-so-beautiful coastline.
It's worth visiting once, but it's not somewhere you would go multiple times.

料理は、正直、満足できなかった。特別、不味いわけではないけど、美味しくもない。
ショーも、ミスも多々あったし、完璧なものではない。
でも、ハワイ=オアフ島のワイキキ。ではなく、古い町並み、キレイではない海岸がある事がよくわかる。
一度は行ってみるのもいいけど、何度も行くものではない。

I was considering what to do after moving from the remote island. I signed up for the Polynesian Cultural Center with a light heart, as it included dinner. Shortly after we started, the bus broke down... but a replacement bus was arranged quickly, and thanks to the driver, we arrived on schedule. This is also a good memory. The park is quite large, and we were able to enjoy it thoroughly for the whole afternoon. The show exceeded my expectations. This was my third trip to Hawaii, and it was my first time visiting, but I definitely think it's worth a visit.

離島から移動してからの行動をどうしようか考え。まだ一度も体験していない、ポリネシア文化センターでと軽い気持ちで申し込みました。ディナー付でしたし。スタート間もなくバスが故障・・でもすぐに代わりのバスが手配され運転手のおかげで予定通り到着？。これもいい思い出です。園内はかなり広いく、午後一日十分堪能できました。ショーも期待以上でした。今回3回目のハワイで初めて行きましたが、ぜひ一度いってみるといいと思いますよ。

We participated in a program called "Luau" with a Japanese guide as a family (three members: a couple and their 10-year-old daughter). Since we experienced activities like making flower leis, hula dancing, and ukulele lessons, I think it was great for the child to have a program that was more than just observation. The dinner included with the tour was a buffet, allowing us to eat as much as we liked, and the seasoning was also fine. During the meal, we enjoyed a show, and after eating, we moved to a different location for an approximately 1 hour and 30-minute Polynesian show (with a 10-minute break), which was a wonderful story-driven performance that made the time fly. Overall, I believe the cost performance was good, and I am satisfied. I think I will go again next time I visit Hawaii.

「ルアウ」というプログラムで日本語のガイドが付いたプログラムにファミリー（夫婦と10才女児の３名）で参加しました。アクティビティー（生花のレイ・フラダンス・ウクレレレッスなど）を体験したので、子供にとっては見学や鑑賞だけのプログラム充実して良かったと思います。ツアーについている夕食もバイキングで好きなものを好きなだけ食べられ、味付けなども問題ありませんでした。食事の際にもショーを鑑賞しながらでしたが、食事後は場所を移動して、約1時間30分（途中10分位の休憩有り）は時間を感じさせないポリネシアンショー（ストーリー仕立て）は素晴らしい内容でした。トータルとしてコストパフォーマンスも良かったと思い、満足をしております。次回、ハワイに行ったらまた行くと思います。

The evening show was wonderful and powerful, to the point where I thought it could rival "Shiki Theatre Company"! Since it was a student show, I didn't have high expectations and thought it would just be women dancing hula. I thought about how around ¥15,000 for an adult ticket seemed expensive, but the show alone is worth that much.

A male student served as our guide for about ten of us. I was truly impressed by his sincerity and enthusiasm. He translated everything into Japanese. I thought it was amazing that he had only studied for two years. However, since he translated everything, I felt that the Polynesian atmosphere was somewhat diminished. I can speak English well enough for everyday conversations, so I found this a bit disappointing. It would have been better if the experience had been conducted in English only.

I wish there had been a bit more time for dinner before the show and shopping after the show.

夜のショーは　"劇団四季"も顔負けかなと思う位の素晴らしい、迫力あふれるショーでした！
学生のショーという事で、あまり期待せず、女性がフラを踊るぐらいかなと思っていました。
大人一人約￥１５,０００は　高いなあと思っていましたが、ショーだけでもその位の価値があります。

男子学生が　私たち１０人ぐらいの　ガイドになってくれました。彼の誠実さ、熱心さには　頭が下がるほどでした。全てを日本語に訳してくれました。２年間勉強しただけなのにすごいと思いました。
ただあまりにも全てを訳すので、ポリネシアの雰囲気が逆に消されているような気がしました。
私は　英語は日常会話に困らない程度に話せますので、これが却って残念でした。体験の時には　英語だけの方が良かったです。

ショーの前の食事の時間とショーの後の買い物の時間がもう少しあったらなあと思います。

On the bus to our destination, a guide named Mori shared interesting information about Hawaii, including things I didn't know even as a repeat visitor. I wish we had a bit more time to explore the villages of each island and shop for souvenirs before the show. I thought the show would be something you could see at a hotel, but it was even more wonderful than I expected.

行きのバスの中、モリさんというガイドさんがハワイについてお話してくださいましたが、リピーターでも知らなかったことがあり、興味深かったです。
ショーの前に各島の村を見たり、お土産を見たりする時間がもう少しあれば良かったと思いました。
ショーはホテルで見る程度のものと思っていたのですが、期待以上に素晴らしかったです。

Thank you for your assistance via phone and email, even with my last-minute reservation before departing for Hawaii. Thanks to you, I was able to create wonderful memories. The bus pickup was on time, and the guide's stories made the ride enjoyable. The deluxe meal was quite rich and luxurious, and the dessert presentation was impressive. I was very satisfied that it wasn't just a typical buffet found at tourist spots. Despite booking the day before, I got seats in the 10th row, right in the center for the show, which was fantastic. I was also very pleased with the ice cream service during the show. This time I chose the twilight course, but next time I plan to take my time and spend the whole day. I believe it's a place everyone should visit at least once when in Hawaii. And it was a bit of a splurge, but I'm glad I went deluxe.

I booked a deluxe package because I wanted to see the night show from a good seat. The show was very impressive and absolutely fantastic. I was happy to have a seat in the fifth row from the front, close to the center. It felt just like the final scene of the movie "Hula Girls" (of course, it was much more authentic).

I also participated in a daytime tour around the park, where I could watch a small instrument show and had a brief experience with hula and ukulele. However, I wished there were more flexible options for how to spend the daytime. In my case, I wanted to see the night show from a good seat but also had a strong desire to take a hula workshop during the day. I consulted with the guide, but it wasn't possible. I had heard from a friend who works at a travel agency that such changes could be accommodated, so I was hoping to ask the guide on the day of the event. However, the guide who assisted us had only been in the role for three months, so they might not have been accustomed to handling irregular requests.

I was very moved by their efforts to preserve and pass on Polynesian culture. I highly recommend visiting!

夜のショーをいい席で観たかったためデラックスで申し込みました。ショーはとても見ごたえがあって最高でした。席は真ん中に近いブロックの前から５列目を押さえてもらってたので嬉しかったです。まるで映画フラガールの最後のショーの場面のようでした。（もちろんもっと本格的です）
昼間に園内をめぐるツアーに参加しましたがそこでも小さな楽器のショーが観れたりほんの数分ですがフラ体験やウクレレ体験ができたりしました。
ただ、昼間の過ごし方の選択肢にもっと柔軟性があればいいなと思いました。
私の場合夜のショーをいい席で見たいけど昼間はフラのワークショップをがっつり受けてみたい・・・という願望があったのでガイドさんに相談してみましたが無理でした。そういう変更も聞いてもらえるそうなので当日ガイドさんに聞いてみてください・・・と旅行会社に勤める友人から聞いてたのですが(-_-)当日担当してくれたガイドさんが始めてまだ３か月の方だったのでイレギュラーな対応に慣れてなかったのかもしれません。
ポリネシアの文化を守り伝えていこうとしてる姿にとても感動しました。ぜひ足を運んでみてください（＾ｖ＾）

I participated in the Twilight Deluxe on June 9. The ride to the destination was enjoyable, thanks to the interesting stories from our student guide, and we arrived in no time. The meal was a buffet, so it's best to go with an empty stomach. The show was impressive as we were seated in the third row from the front in the center. There was someone on the same bus who was attending for the second time, and they mentioned, "It's better to join in the afternoon." That made sense to me.

6/9トワイライトデラックスで参加しました。
行きの車中は、学生ガイドさんの話がおもしろくあっという間に目的地に着きました。食事はバイキングでした。お腹はすかして行った方がよいですよ。ショーは真ん中の前から３列目でしたので迫力ありました。同じバスの方で２回目の方がいらっしゃいましてその方曰く「昼から参加した方がいいよ」ということでした。なるほどと思いました。

I joined in the afternoon, but by the time I arrived, the canoe show had already started. I wanted to see it from the beginning... I also wanted to visit more villages and experience some crafts. It was disappointing... The night horizon was wonderful!

お昼から参加したのですが、到着した頃にはカヌーショーは始まってました。最初からみたかったです・・・もっと沢山の村にも行きたかったですし、工作も体験したかったです。残念でした・・・
夜のホライズンは素晴らしかったです！

The fun journey begins from the bus that picks you up at the hotel. Even the slightly long ride is exciting with the guide's entertaining stories, so you won't get bored. The show features magnificent stage setups and powerful dances that are truly impressive. The seats prepared by Alan were in the best location, allowing us to feel the performance up close. The ice cream served during the break is huge and delicious!

上がり退屈しません。ショーは、壮大な舞台装置や迫力のある踊りは見ごたえがあります。アランさんの用意してくださったシートが最上の場所でしたので、じかに肌に感じる事が出来ました。休憩時間の配られるアイスクリームは特大で美味ですよ。

I've been to Hawaii several times, but this was my first time participating. The seating is determined by the meal, but even the standard option is enjoyable enough. Since it's an outdoor stage, it was a bit cold for the season, and I didn't understand the language at all, but even with those factors, the powerful dances, comedic performances, and hula mixed together made the time fly by.

If I get tired of the beach, I would like to participate in various attractions at the Polynesian Cultural Center starting in the morning.

何度かハワイに行ってますが、今回初めて参加しました。
食事によって席が決まりますが、スタンダードでも十分楽しめます。
野外ステージの為、時期的に寒く、言葉は全然わかりませんが、それらを差し引いても
迫力あるダンス、コミカルなダンス、フラなど色々織り交ぜ、あっという間に時間が過ぎました。

ビーチに飽きたら、朝から参加しポリネシア・カルチャー・センターのいろんなアトラクションに参加してみたいと思います

We participated in an optional tour that was very Hawaiian for my parents' first trip to Hawaii with our family of nine.

Since it included transportation and meals, we could enjoy our trip without worrying about arranging cars or making restaurant reservations, even if it got late at night.

My parents seemed to enjoy the Samoan show the most. The evening show "Horizon" was also amazing. The ice cream we had during the break of the show was delicious too.

父母の初ハワイ旅行の時9人の家族で、ハワイらしいオプショナルツアーということで、参加しました。

送迎付きですし、食事もついているので、大人数のハワイ旅行でも、車の手配や、レストランの予約の心配をすることなく夜遅くなっても安心して参加できました。

父母は、サモアのショーが、一番楽しかったようです。
イブニングショー「ホライズン」もすごかったです。ショーの休憩中に食べた、アイスクリームもおいしかったです。

I have been learning hula, and my friends told me that I definitely should visit the Polynesian Cultural Center. Of course, it helped me with my hula studies, and I was able to see various dances from Polynesia, not just hula, and I was very satisfied to experience the culture.

hulaを習っていて、友達にもポリネシアセンターには、ぜったいに行った方がいいと言われていました。
もちろんhulaの勉強にもなったし、hulaだけではないポリネシアのいろいろなダンスも見れたし、文化にも触れられて大満足でした。

Polynesian dance is very captivating. It's a bit far, but I think it's worth it to see such a show.

This was my eighth time in Hawaii, and I saw the Polynesian show for the first time.

I enjoyed it even from the back seats. Next time, I want to go during the day to have some fun.

I arrived in Hawaii on January 3rd and went to the Twilight Deluxe that same day (since my elderly mother was with me, it would have been tiring to go in the afternoon). During the car ride, a Japanese exchange student shared some interesting stories, making for a fun time while sightseeing! The meal was satisfying, with crab and roast beef! (I've heard that if you don't go early, it might run out!) The highly anticipated Horizon had the best seats, third from the front in the center! I heard that the show content changed from January, and it was different from just dancing before; it felt more like a musical and was really great! During the break, we received a large pineapple and mango ice for free, which felt like a bonus! My mother was very happy too! If you go to Oahu, you should definitely check it out! I highly recommend it!!

1月3日にハワイに着き、その日にトワイライト・デラックス（高齢の母が一緒でしたので、昼からですと疲れますので・・）行きました！行きの車の中では、日本人留学生が面白い話を聞かせて下さり、観光しながらの楽しい時間でした！お食事もカニあり、ローストビーフありで満足のいくものでした！（話によりますと、早く行かないとなくなってしまうそうですよ！）待望のホライズンも真ん中の前から3番目で最高！！の席でした。1月からショーの内容が変わったとかで、以前の踊りだけとは違うミュージカルのようでとても良かったです！休憩時間にはおっきなパイナップル、マンゴーアイスを無料で頂け、得した気分です！母もとても喜んでいました！オアフに行かれたら是非行ってみて下さい！お勧めいたします！！

This is my third time watching the show, and it’s wonderful every time. I wanted to see it even better, so I splurged on the "Twilight Deluxe" tickets, and I was able to watch from a fantastic spot, third row from the front, aisle seat, just as I hoped. I also got to enjoy the dessert I had been looking forward to, and I’m really moved!!

ショーを観るのは今回で３回目になりますが、何回観てもスバラシイです。
もっとよく観たいという希望もあり、『トワイライト・デラックス』にして奮発しましたが、予想を裏切らない前から３番目の通路側のとてもいい場所で観ることが出来ました。念願のデザートも食べれたし、とても感激です！！

Both my friends who live in Hawaii and those who came from Japan recommended that the Polynesian Cultural Center is worth a visit. Just as the reviews said, I had a wonderful time there. After living in Hawaii for ten years, I learned about the true history of Hawaii for the first time. The staff were friendly, and everyone worked hard to explain things. Hawaii is amazing, Hawaii is healing for the soul, and I felt truly happy to be able to live in this beautiful place. I had the best time, and I highly recommend the Polynesian Cultural Center.

This year, I participated with my family. Since it was a bit far from Waikiki, I was unsure whether to choose a nearby show, but it was definitely the right decision to attend this show. As others have commented, the final Horizon show is breathtaking. A friend strongly recommended it, saying they attend every time they go to Oahu, and I was skeptical, but now I completely understand what my friend meant. Next time I participate, I want to enjoy a tour that goes during the day.

　今年ファミリーで参加しました。ワイキキから少し遠いので近場のショーにするか否か迷ったのですが、このショーに参加して大正解でした。
　他の方のコメントにあるように最後のホライズンショーは圧巻です。
　友人がオアフに行くたびに毎回参加するということで強く勧められ半信半疑でしたが、今では友人の言うことがよくわかります。
　今度参加するときは、昼間から行くツアーで楽しみたいと思います。

皆さん、アロハ。これはハワイでの馴染みの挨拶ですよね。しかし、私は「アロハ」という言葉には3つの意味があることを知りませんでした。ハワイ、フィジー、サモア、トンガ、タヒチの人々を総称してポリネシア人と呼ぶことは知っていましたが、「アオテアロア」という言葉が存在することを初めて知りました。これを知ることができたのは、今回訪問したポリネシア・カルチャー・センターでした。

今回初めてのオアフ島旅行。右も左も分からず不安でいっぱいでしたが、旅慣れた友達が一緒に行ってくれたので、その不安も少し和らぎました。しかし、その友達が「折角のオアフ島旅行だから、ぜひポリネシア・カルチャー・センターへ行った方が良いよ。」と言って予約を入れてくれたので、一人で行くことになりました。送迎が付いているから大丈夫と言われましたが、それでも不安でいっぱいでした。しかし、そんな心配はどこ吹く風で、全然大丈夫でした。言葉が一番の不安でしたが、送迎バスのガイドさんは少し頼りない感じでしたが、日本語でいろいろ説明してくれました。センターに着いても、日本語ができるガイドさんがいて、言葉の不安は全く必要なく、いつの間にかそんなことを気にすることなく、いろいろなアトラクションやショーを楽しむことができました。

ポリネシア・カルチャー・センターでは、サモア、アオテアロア、フィジー、ハワイ、タヒチ、トンガの民族ごとに村を形成していて、ある村では火起こしの実演を面白おかしくしていたり、ある村ではその島にあるゲームや踊りを教えてくれたり、ある村ではイレズミや槍投げなど、いろいろな体験ができるようになっています。その過程でガイドさんが各民族の挨拶の言葉を、覚えやすいように面白おかしく教えてくれました。例えば、ある民族の挨拶言葉に「キアオラ」というのがありますが、これをガイドさんが野球選手のバッターボックスに立つ真似をして、「今は引退してしまいましたが、オリックスブルーウェーブの清原選手で覚えてください。」と言って、全部で6個教えてくれました。他を知りたければぜひポリネシア・カルチャー・センターへ。その他にも、ハワイ神殿ツアー、カヌーツアー、巨大スクリーンで楽しむ映画などもありますよ。そして、最後にイブニングショー「ホライズ...

　今回初めてのオアフ島旅行。右も左も分からず不安一杯でしたが、旅慣れをした友達が一緒に行ってくれたので、そんな不安も幾分か和らいでいました。しかし、その友達が「折角のオアフ島旅行だから、是非ともポリネシア・カルチャー・センターへ言った方が良いよ。」という事で予約を入れてくれていて、一人で行く事になりました。送迎が付いているから大丈夫という事でしたが、それでも不安で不安で、大丈夫かな、なんて思っていましたが、そんな心配も何処吹く風か、全然大丈夫でした。とにかく一番の不安が言葉だったのですが、送迎バスのガイドさん、少し頼りない感じでしたが、日本語で色々説明してくれました。センターへ着いても、日本語が出来るガイドさんが着いてくれて、言葉の不安は全く必要なく、何時の間にかそんな事を気にする事無く、色々なアトラクションやショーを楽しむ事が出来ました。
　ポルネシア・カルチャー・センターでは、サモア・アオテアロア・フィジー・ハワイ・タヒチ・トンガの民族ごとに村を形成していて、ある村では火起こしの実演を面白可笑しくしていたり、ある村ではその島にあるゲームや踊りを教えてくれたり、ある村ではイレズミや槍投げ等、色々な体験が出来るようになっています。その過程でガイドさんが各民族の挨拶の言葉を、覚えやすいように面白可笑しく教えてくれたりしました。そうですね、例えばある民族の挨拶言葉に「キアオラ」というのがあるのですが、これをガイドさんが、野球選手のバッターボックスにたつ真似をして、今は引退してしまいましたが、オリックスブルーウェーブズの「清原（キヨハラ）選手で覚えて下さい。」なんていう感じで全部で6個教えてくれました。他を知りたければ是非とも、ポリネシア・カルチャーセンターへ。他にも、ハワイ神殿ツアー、カヌーツアー、巨大スクリーンで楽しむ映画とかもありますよ。そして、最後にイブニングショー「ホライズ

Hawaii is always fun to visit. This time, I'm traveling with my daughter, who is visiting Hawaii for the first time. I thought about where to take her, and the first place that came to mind was definitely the Polynesian Cultural Center.

I have visited Hawaii several times, but I find myself drawn to the Polynesian Cultural Center almost every time. It's a great spot to learn about Hawaiian culture and customs, and the entertainment quality is very high, making it a satisfying experience. I quickly booked our tickets through Alan1.net along with other activities via the internet. A confirmation email was sent shortly after, and all I had to do was print the voucher in that email and hand it to the person picking us up on the day of the visit. At first, I wondered if such a simple method would be okay, but now that the trip is over, I had no issues at all.

For participating in the Polynesian Cultural Center, there are courses starting in the afternoon, including the Super Ambassador, Deluxe, and Standard courses. We chose the Deluxe course (there are also options that include a tour around the island or courses starting in the evening). The Deluxe course features a small group of about 15 people for the center's tour, includes seafood for dinner, and provides front-row seats for the main event show. I had participated in the Standard course in the past, but I highly recommend the Deluxe course.

On the day of our visit, it unfortunately rained, but thanks to our cheerful guide from Shikoku who picked us up at the hotel around noon, the bus ride from Waikiki was over in no time. Upon arriving at the center, our guide changed to an American from Colorado, who spoke Japanese without any issues. By the way, the guides and staff at the center are students from Brigham Young University Hawaii, which is part of the same organization as the religious group (Mormon Church) that operates the center.

With the guidance of the Colorado guide, we visited villages representing various cultures that have come to Hawaii over the ages (Hawaii, Samoa, Aotearoa (New Zealand), Fiji, Tahiti, Marquesas, Tonga, etc.), watched shows, learned hula dancing, made traditional crafts, and even took a canoe tour to each village. Unfortunately, due to the rain, the canoe pageant was moved indoors to a theater, but it was still an impressive pageant.

なんど訪れても楽しいハワイ。今回は娘と二人旅です。娘は初ハワイなので、どこに連れて行こうか考えましたが、真っ先に浮かんだのが、やはりポリネシア文化センターでした。
私は何度か、ハワイは経験済みですが、ほとんど行く度にこのポリネシア文化センターに足が向いてしまいます。ハワイの文化や習慣を知ることができる上に、エンタテーメントとしての完成度も高く、満足できるスポットだからです。早速インターネットを通じ、他のアクティビティと共にAlan1.netさんで申し込みました。予約の確認は、程なくメールを通じて送られてきました。このメールの中にあるバウチャーをプリントし、当日、迎えの人に渡すだけです。始めはこんな簡単な方法で大丈夫かなと思っていましたが、旅を終えた今、問題はありませんでした。

ポリネシア文化センターへの参加方法は、昼からのコースでは、スーパーアンバサダー、デラックス、そしてスタンダードコースがありましたが、私たちはデラックスコースを選びました(他に、島内一周が付いてるのや夕方からのコースなどもあります)。このデラックスコースは、センター内の案内が、１５名程度の小人数で、夕食に海鮮類が付き、そしてメインイベントのショウを見る席が前方になります。スタンダードコースで過去参加したことがありましたが、このデラックスコースはお勧めです。

さて当日は生憎の雨でしたが、お昼にホテル迎えにきてくれた、四国出身の陽気なガイドさんの案内もあってワイキキから約1時のバス道中はあっと言う間でした。
センターに着くと、ガイドさんが変わり、コロラド出身のアメリカ人でしたが、日本語は問題ありませんでした。因みに、このガイドさん達や、センター内で働いている人は、隣のブリガムヤング大学ハワイ校の学生さん達で、大学はこのセンターを運営している宗教団体（モルモン教）と同じ組織だそうです。そのコロラド人ガイドさんの案内で、遠い昔からこのハワイにやってきたいろんな民族(ハワイ、サモア、アオテアロア(ニュージーランド)、フィージー、タヒチ、マーケサス、トンガ等)の村を訪れ、ショーを見たり、フラダンスを習ったり、伝統的な工芸品を作ったり、又カヌーに乗って各村へのツアーもしました。残念だったのはこの日は雨で、カヌーページェントが室内のシアターに変わりましたが、それでも迫力あるページェントでした。

This was my first visit to the Polynesian Cultural Center on my fifth trip to Hawaii, and I really enjoyed it. I've seen various hula shows before, but both the daytime show on the water and the nighttime show in the grand hall were impressive and enjoyable.

There were many dancers, and each one had incredible energy. The show is structured around the different ethnic groups from the islands of Polynesia, so even though they all appear to be Polynesian, you can see the distinct characteristics of each tribe, whether they are more cautious, spirited, or laid-back. This added depth to the experience, as you could feel the intensity through their expressions and movements. I highly recommend sitting in the front row where you can see their expressions clearly!

The park is divided into different villages, and it feels like you are visiting each village either by walking or canoeing. Each village has its own shows and activity areas, making it a fun place for families and friends. Our guide was a student from a nearby university, and their attentiveness, speaking skills, and knowledge were impressive for a student.

I had a fulfilling half-day experience, not just in Hawaii but also interacting with various Polynesian tribes from different islands!

　５回目のハワイではじめてのポリネシア文化センターでしたが楽しめました。今までいろんなフラショーを見ましたが、水上でみるお昼のショーも、大ホールで見る夜のショーもどちらも迫力あって楽しめました。
踊り子さんの人数も多いのですが、一人一人のパワーがスゴイです。ポリネシアの島々に住んでいるそれぞれの民族を分けてショーが構成されているので、一見同じポリネシア人に見えても、警戒心の強いの種族だったり、血の気の多い種族、おっとりの種族だったりと自分なりのイメージをもちつつ見ることができてより見ごたえがありました。それぞれ表情や体全体の動きからそういうところまで感じられる迫力ある空間です。是非！ショーは表情の見える前席で！！！

園内はそれぞれの村に別れ構成されていて、歩いたりカヌーでそれぞれの村を訪れるような感じです。また、それぞれの村ごとにショーや体験コーナーがあり家族や友達と楽しめる場所ですね。ガイドさんは隣の大学の学生の方がしてくれましたが、学生とは思えない気配りとしゃべり、知識でした。すばらしい。
ハワイだけでなくいろんな島を巡っていろんな種族のポリネシアの方に触れ合った様な充実の半日が過ごせました！！

There are attractions and experiences, so you won't get bored. The night show was impressive and very enjoyable.

　アトラクションや体験もできて飽きません。夜のショーは迫力があってとても楽しめました。

I recommend this for those who want to see something truly Hawaiian! I participated in the deluxe course package with dinner and a show starting in the evening. They picked me up from the hotel around 4:00 PM, and we arrived at the Polynesian Cultural Center in about an hour and a half. The student guide on the bus shared various interesting stories about Hawaii, which was very enjoyable. The dinner was a buffet with Hawaiian cuisine and some simple Japanese dishes, offering a wide variety. The show lasted about an hour and a half and was exciting from start to finish—it went by in a flash! We even gave a standing ovation at the end, and it was a lot of fun. The explanations in Japanese made it easy to understand and very engaging.

何かハワイらしいものを見たい！！という方にお勧めです。
私は夕方からのデラックスコースでディナーとショーのパックに参加しました。16：00くらいにホテルにピックアップしに来てくれ、ポリネシアン文化センターまで約1時間半で到着。バスの中では学生ガイドさんがハワイの色々な話をしてくれとても面白かったです。ディナーはバイキングでハワイ料理・簡単な和食があり種類も多かったです。ショーは約1時間半で最初から最後まで大盛り上がりであっと言うまでした。最後はスタンディングオべーションまで出て楽しかったです。日本語での説明も入るのでわかりやすく見ごたえがありました。

I participated in the "All-Day Deluxe" experience. Fortunately, I was able to join via monitor, and I am very satisfied. On the bus there, I believe it was Mr. James Mori, who provided a very rich and enjoyable guide. I learned a lot from the history discussions.

After arriving, we were guided by locals in a group of about ten people to various places. I think it lasted around three hours. It was quite tiring... Since there was hardly any free time for sightseeing, I would have liked about an hour for that.

Dinner was a buffet, and as everyone has reviewed, there was a great variety and it was very delicious. The show was in the middle row, the best spot for viewing. It was very impressive, and I think it's worth seeing just for that.

到着してからは10人くらいのグループでいろいろなところを
現地の方にガイドしてもらいました。だいたい3時間くらいだったと思います。結構疲れました・・・・自由での見学時間はほとんどなかったので、1時間くらいはそういった時間が欲しかったです。
夕食はバイキングでしたが、みなさんのレビュー通り、
とても種類も豊富でとてもおいしかったです。
ショーは真ん中の列で一番見やすい場所でした。とても
迫力があり、これだけのためでもみる価値はあると思います。

I heard from a friend who is a Hawaii expert (having visited over ten times) that there are must-visit places in Hawaii, and at first, I was skeptical, thinking, "Really?" But after going, I was convinced it was true!

The canoe show starting at 2:30 PM and the movie at the IMAX theater were fantastic. And above all, the evening show "Horizon" was incredibly exciting. You can see Polynesian shows in Waikiki, but I believe the show at the PCC is something entirely different.

ハワイ通（10数回渡ハ）の友人から、ハワイに行って絶対に行く場所ということを聞いていて、はじめは「本当かな・・」と半信半疑だったのですが、行ってみてその通りだ！と確信しました。
　
　１４：３０からのカヌーのショーやアイマックス劇場での映画。そしてなんと言っても最高に盛り上がるイブニングショー「ホライズン」。ポリネシアンショーはワイキキでも見ることができますが、ＰＣＣでのこのショーは別物と思っていてもいいと思います。
